Great meaty wings! There are a great variety of different sauces. We were going to get the 08 fire and our wonderful server Arianna said that she's going to give us a drop to try first. I love spicy good , I can eat habeneros however this 08 fire is hot hot hot. Thank goodness we got a drop to try. Their fried pickles were delicious as well. Their nachos with added chili topping out of this world! Great food, great service and awesome wings need more? Nope not at Binga Stadium !!

I stopped by for lunch on a sunday afternoon. Games playing, beer pouring, wings served. We orderd a sample of boneless wing flavors. The wings were large, no cartilage or bones. The meat was tender and the wings were big chicken fingers. The sauces were the most exciting part. We picked pb&j, valley girl, the redneck, spicy buffalo, hot mango and thai peanut. I love the variety of sauce to choose from. You can order them coated or a flight of dipping sauces. The fries were decent, crispy and greasy. It was the service that makes the experience so bad. I have never seen staff avoid customers as much as this experience. They would accually look away and walk quickly to behind the bar to talk and laugh. We ordered some spicy food and inevitably needed drink refills. We never saw our waitress once she took our order. Another waitress brought our food. We asked someone walking by, could we please get refills. They offered to find our waitress. We continued eating and finally got drinks with the check. We asked for a box, but it never came after someone collected the bill. I'm hoping when i get a chicken finger craving again to give this place another shot and maybe have a better experience.

Once upon a time (okay, about a decade ago) I was an alcohol spokesmodel. I dressed up in ridiculous outfits and went to restaurants to promote new adult beverages to consumers (specifically the impressionable 21 to 29 male crowd, if we're being totally honest here) which included education, buying them a drink, and giving away "free swag". Binga's was one of the very first places I ever worked at in Portland, ME (as such, I'm always gonna have a soft spot in my heart for them). I was a Heineken Light Girl at the time and the then bartender introduced me to the troublesome and delicious world of energy drinks with vodka. The staff used to feed us all the melt-in-your-mouth, crunchy-on-the-outside-juicy-on-the-inside, deep fried chicken fingers we could eat; and, once when it was slow they even let us try every single sauce they made. Binga's has always offered generous portions, cold drinks, and been a clean, noisy, spacious (I think they have the most square footage of any food or drink establishment in town), and a solid place to go catch "the game". (Skip this next part if you're an omnivore... we'll meet you down at the next paragraph.) Now that I'm a wee bit older and a vegetarian, Binga's doesn't exactly fill any personal niche. The menu is mostly geared towards BBQ, chicken wings and beer, and deep-fried pub foods. There's nothing wrong with this; it's just not for me. MUCH of their options are gluten-free, though; I have friends who are impressed with this, because I guess most places chicken fingers/wings aren't for whatever reason. And there really do strive to include some vegetarian options on the menu, but I don't know if they're actually "vegetarian" (this all depends on how seriously you take your diet, and I know it's being super picky, but... is the Veggie Burger, which is ironically described as "a top-shelf meatless burger", grilled on the same surface as real meat is? I'm guessing, yes; and, are all the seemingly harmless French fries, onion rings, pickle chips, mozzarella sticks, and the tofu or falafel in the sandwiches deep-fried in the same fryers as the meat as well? Every time I've asked the servers here [BEWARE: they are always young women in tight clothing], they haven't 100% known the answer, and that bums me out). So, when I have come here, I've gotten the nachos. However, they're always burned. And kind of sad looking since the topping to chip ratio is WAAAAAAAY off; who wants to pay for a plate of charred, hard, too salty chips? Not I. (Hi, omnivores, are you back? Cool, let's talk about...) DEM SACUES THO! Thirty different options that you can drip, dredge, drizzle, or pour on pretty much anything off their menu. The "'08 Fire" (which is stupid hot) gives me heartburn just looking at it, the "Blanch" (as you probably guessed, it's a combo of blue cheese and ranch) is probably one of my favorites, the "Redneck" (maple buffalo) tastes like summer BBQs, and the "Valley Girl" (a combo of BBQ, buffalo, and honey mustard) appeals to my inner kid who liked to put all the flavors of her meal in her mouth at once. So, if you're looking for a quintessential sports bar experience, this might be for you. I'm not, so it isn't.

Four solid stars. While I was put off by all the loud noise and crazy flavors at first, Binga's has slowly grown on me. The service and quality hands down beats BWW, and that's probably what will keep me coming back. The wings are definitely not wimpy, and $5 for 6 wingas during happy hour ain't a bad deal! There's other items on the happy hour menu for $2/$3/$4/$5 available from 4-6 and from 9-close daily. Make sure to check your receipt though, I was charged the regular price for wings until I asked them to fix it. :/ I usually split a half order of the stadium nachos w/ hot mango tenders with 1-2 others. It comes with salsa, sour cream, olives, and tons of cheese. If you've got a group of friends that are up for it, come for Thursday Questionnairey! It's kind of like family feud, and the prizes are actually pretty great.

Binga's is what you would get if you went to a Buffalo Wild Wings and said, "This idea has some potential. Lets keep the 10,000 TV's, add about 40 more beers, and make the food edible" And they've done a pretty good job with it. The food is, not surprisingly, weighted heavily towards sugar, spice and fat. Mostly fat. It's bar food, and almost everything is fried in batter, but it's all pretty well executed. The beer selection is large, but in the end kind of un-inspiring. I always find it sad to look at a list of 60 or so beers and find only a couple that interest me. Basically, they do what the do pretty well, but what they do isn't really what I'm looking for most of the time.

Went here over the weekend got a bachelor party and had a blast! The bartender Brittany made sure we had a good time and kept the drinks flowing! Also the manager Jeff took care of us. We went in on Friday and kept the drinks flowing for a few hours, but before leaving he gave a complimentary gift card and to come back anytime. when we went back on Saturday to eat dinner and watch a game, he went above and beyond, hooked us up with a complementary app, made sure we were good periodically throughout dinner and then when we went down to their awesome basement he made sure we had a waitress to take care of us. I never generally interact with bar or restaurant managers but after speaking with Jeff this weekend, he has definitely set the bar high for my expectations on what a manager can do to create a fun environment for the customer.

I came here with a couple of buddies last night for their Trivia night. It was pretty fun, but the questions were all from a decade older than us, so we lost pretty bad. This was made up by the awesome food that they served! My and my friend went to for an order of nachos and they came out pretty big and spicy. Those jalapenos really hit the spot! They also have a really appealing happy hour 3/4/5 menu which would definitely get me coming back. The owner is also a super friendly and nice guy. If you DO come here, I'd advise to say hi to the owner and compliment his restaurant. I know he'd really appreciate it since it seems he tries pretty hard to please his customers. Definitely try the Trivia if you're in your 30's-40's. It seemed like pretty good questions, but just not my generation. One bonus round gave us 10 pictures of lawyers and we had to name the show the lawyers were on.

I like to pop in here occasionally with a group of friends for their Thursday Night, Family-Feud style trivia. We're that maddening group that questions the guy in charge about the specifics of every question before answering...: Q: What's the first question you ask when buying a new car? A: Is this a new or a used car? And, are they male or female, because that will affect our answer. Q: Name one thing you'll find in a woman's handbag A: How old is the woman in question? What's her lifestyle like? Are we including drag queens? So, any-who, there's good times and casual entertainment to be had. If you're grabbing a bite, the variety of sauces for the bone in wings or boneless tenders are a plus, although I still thinks it's funny you can't just get pain ranch or blue cheese dressing. Personal sauce fav is the spicy redneck. Vegetarians will have seriously limited options, so if you are one, also be patient with your waitresses, as it IS obviously going to be more of a carnivore-friendly establishment. If you're gluten free there's more for you than the vegetarians. The beer selection is surprising, with more local brews than you might imagine, as opposed to being just the same cheap, domestic swill you might expect at a wing joint. They do offer towers of beer, so that makes up for any other deficiencies in catering to dietary restrictions, right? Don't expect anything to be fast, as they usually seem to be short staffed for these sorts of events, so be patient, as these girls are running their butts off! There's lots of space, with a lonnnnnnng bar, and quite a few booths, so it's good for groups. They will make you wait for at least half your party to arrive before seating you, so heads up! Pricing is fairly average for what you get between drinks, apps and dinner items - $ - $$. They also offer a trivia night, I think on Tuesdays, if the game of guessing/comparisons for the popular vote that was taken from a demographic of bar patrons isn't your thing.

Great spot for entertainment and good bar food! This takes the cake for sports bars in Portland. Huge restaurant with a big bar. Decent selection with drinks, an infinite amount of tasty sauces for your food and TV's all around! Our server was nice and helpful. She suggested which sauces went better with our meals. I got the veggie burger with some extra toppings and the KB sauce...YUM!! So delicious! Although, the sweet potato fries I got on the side were lacking salt and sweetness, they were crunchy and not soggy! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Portland! (Good for groups, too.)

When evaluating or reviewing anything, i.e. music, restaurants, one should always decide if the reviewed has succeeded in the particular thing they were trying to achieve. Top Gun shouldn't be reviewed with the same criteria as Casablanca. Now both of those films reside firmly in my top five. As they should yours. Apparently Hollywood is making a Top Gun sequel. Not thrilled. Not thrilled at all. At any rate, both are incredibly successful in achieving the experience they set out to deliver. Is Binga's in the same culinary family as Elven Madison Park? No, no it's not. Maybe not even the extended family. It's not even that creepy, awful cousin that surfaces at holidays making everybody go "ugh, oh man", check their watch and wonder if they should lock the medicine cabinet. What Binga's is though is an absurdly great place to go watch the game and have some decent wings. Have been a couple times each of the past three or so football seasons and I always have an absolute blast. Big televisions everywhere, awesome beer selection, friendly service and good wings. You know, what you want from a sports bar. Take a tip from your handsome, witty friend here and make sure to get a side of the K.G.B. sauce to dunk whatever your little heart desires in. That stuff is silly good. I mean really, really good. What I'm saying is I enjoy it. I enjoy the way It tastes when I eat it. I keep a little at all times in the fridge at home to rub on my gums.

  • Lindsay W.

I can't really say much of this place yet because I didn't really eat anything but my first experience left me with 2 stars. I would agree that it seems like a quintessential sports bar with a crazy amount of tv screens but it still felt like the atmosphere was lacking for some reason... Our server was also either overly attentive or trying to get us out. Then once it came to sorting out the check, it took her forever, and her attempt to split it actually resulted in everyone paying for someone else's items. The only thing I got was a bloody mary and chips and salsa. And I really didn't like either. I normally really enjoy both in other establishments. I'll probably be back for a place to watch a game but won't get a Bloody Mary.

Pros: location, decent taps, cheap food, Cons: Weak food. I used to love Bingas. First they were bad, then in 2011 they overhauled the menu and it got delicious. Just went again and it was really, really ungood. The wings are fried to a soggy, flavorless chew. The tenders were worse--this chicken has clearly been frozen and thawed. The sauces tasted like they came out of a gallon-pump container. Everything had that guar gum and cornstarch slime to it. Blech.

Are you a person who loves chicken wings, BBQ and friendly, efficient service? Are you also the type of person who doesn't mind being surrounded by various sports on giant tv screens, literally everywhere? Well then you should pop into Binga's. Went here cause the BF wanted to catch a basketball game, and boy did he. Solid wings and BBQ. Nice staff. Environment; meh. But what're you gonna do? Sometimes you can't have it all. Would definitely recommend for sports fans and meat lovers.

Great place to come watch football when your team isn't on TV. There are over 50 TVs so there is always something on :)

Binga's is the quintessential sports bar. It has tons of TV screens with sports on, chicken wings in all kinds of flavors and trivia games. It's large so it's great for getting together with friends to watch a game. The food I've had has been good to really good. The staff I've had has always been on the ball. It's not a 5 star restaurant, it's a 5 star sports bar.

We stopped in to watch the EPL soccer game at 11:00am on a Sunday. Place looked like a decent pub. Ordered the taco salad and chips and salsa. Taco salad was good, the meat is combined with beans which makes it somewhat not so healthy but yummy. The chips and salsa was $7!!!!!! The chips were cold out of a bag and the salsa was awful. Who would ever charge $7 for chips and salsa that were horrible quality? Will never go back because of this.

Every week we're excited to go to the half priced wings on Wednesdays. This has changed. The deal went from an amazing special that was must for us to a happy hour that's not nearly as great a deal. We may need to move to a new wings venue for our weekly wings fix.

Awful food, awful service. Sat down in 15 minute, had 3 vodka and cranberries but they might have just been cranberry juice. After sitting we sat there for an hour and 45 minutes before we even ate and it wasn't even that busy. People who hot rhere well after us got their food well before we did. it was way overpriced for a cheeseburger, 4 piece kids wings dinner (that was bland) and 3 cranberry and vodkas with no vodka was over $55.00. I will Never be going there again... Horrible bar food at best!!!!

Best wing place in America! The service is also great. There are many beers on tap and would recommend it to anyone.

My family had a great experience at Bingas. It was a Saturday evening and we have young kids so we were ready to head back out of the door if the atmosphere was not family friendly, but we walked in and there were all sorts of groups there with and without kids. We were a little worried when we were sat by what seemed to be a bachelor party but everything was great. The service was very efficient, the food was fast hot and the BBQ sauce on the pork pulled sandwich and his draft beer were AWEsOMe! My husband and I eat wings everywhere and these were hands down the BEST wings ever!! Valley girl sauce and the Garlic Buffalo whatever it's called were out of this world. Best wings ever. I will drive back to Portland for more

Awesome place to watch the Bruins! There are no bad seats with their 50+ tvs! The food is a lot better than most pub/bar food. We loved the nachos and burnt ends BBQ tips. Our waitress was right on que and very friendly! The venue is HUGE and always packed! We read in the paper that the owners support a lot of charities which is awesome! They had an unfortunate fire in 2008 at their old location...from the ashes they rise better than ever - truly an inspiring story story of a local business!!!

Wall-to-wall TVs covering hockey. And oh yeah any other game/show you wish to request. Not super noisy though, and great entrees and appetizers. Just a chill place with good service.

After some confusion with a reservation for large party, (Binga's accepts call aheads but not reservations) we were faced with a long wait and uncertainty that all would be seated before our event. I spoke with a manager and was quickly connected with the owner Alec who did everything he could to rectify the situation. There were two private events being conducted in the typical extra space, but he was creative and opened a 'ball room' area for our group. He placed a food order for banquet style wings to accommodate the group without individual orders and provided an assortment of sauces and appetizers. We had access to our own bar tender, and they shuffled in tables and chairs for us. He even gave us a cornhole set for entertainment! What was originally a stressful situation turned into an excellent event-due to quick thinking and great service! THANK YOU BINGAS! I will definitely be looking to this group to coordinate events (planned...not on the fly, ha) in the future.

Awesome food! My son and I try to go there as much as possible because the food is great! The service is always prompt and courteous. We live in Portland and it is not easy to find a great place to eat that has all the bells and whistles, but this is one of the few. Can't wait to go back!

Binga's Stadium is a great sports bar in Portland. Tons of televisions to watch a game, a great selection of beers at reasonable prices, and delicious wings with lots of flavors to choose from. Matt was our bartender during our visit and he was friendly and very attentive. The place is huge...the upstairs has plenty of seats at the bar, plus a lot of booths to sit at if you're in a group. The downstairs has games, and is a cool room for a private party. If you're a sports fan looking for a fun place to catch a game in Portland, give Binga's a try. Cheers!

I love the HUGE variety in sauces for wings but it's a huge bummer for me that they only have "blanch" for dipping. It's a combo of bleu cheese & spices. They do not have plain bleu cheese but they do have ranch. Bummer. Great specials, great service & they have buzztime trivia. Love it.

  • Tracy N.

AWESOME Wings! Redneck Sauce and Valley Girl sauce is amazingggg. Valley Girl is rich. Redneck is a nice tangy sweet&salty combo. HappyHr is 4-7pm and is $3 well drinks, domestics and 1/2 off appetizers! Awesome specials during games too! Can get crowded on Friday nights and weekends! I really really really LOVE their wings! And potato cakes (smooshed tater tots) with gravy!

Awesome place. Owner is really amazing and what he has created is really successful. Staff warms up with some tlc. Burnt ends were fantastic. Fried pickle chips where like nothing we have had before. Wings and 20 different choices of sauces were wonderful. Hard to choose from all the sauce choices. Can't wait for our entrees!

I only got takeout but these wings were very good, crispy, big & tasty. Sauces were great. Gravy was great. Looked like a good place to watch a game for sure. Pretty & friendly hostess & waitresses didn't hurt either.

I had a few friends out the night before I flew back to LA here, absolutely amazing, loved it. I tried the something or other Fire, the hottest wings they had - just to say I tried them. Horrible, horrible, horrible decision. I chugged a couple beers and a glass of milk to help subside the burning alive feeling I had in my mouth, throat and stomach to no avail, so then I decided I needed to go to the bathroom to flush the beers out. JESUS HAS NO MERCY! The sauce from the wings was still on my hand and then my hands went on to assist in my bathroom experience... I can't describe the absolute horror and pain I went through for about an hour after that. So, you should take three things from this: 1. Great wings, great beer selection, great service. 2. Don't eat the hottest wings they have, the "19** Fire" wings. 3. For baby Jesus's sake - DO NOT TOUCH YOUR GENITALS AFTER YOU EAT THE HOT WINGS, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU'VE WASHED THEM. Wait a day or so, I implore you. It made me feel better to know I wasn't the first person this happened to - the other guy ran around the bar with his hands down his pants crying and yelling. It doesn't make me feel any less violated, but at least you are forewarned.

The food here was great. I ordered a bacon bbq burger which I believe was one of there specials and it was absolutely great. My girlfriend ordered the bbq chicken macaroni and cheese and that was great as well. Then we went down into the basement where we played pool which was great as well. Our overall experience here was great, the only thing I thought was strange is how you have to order fries instead of them coming with your meal. I really do not like the extra charge when you should expect and order of fries with a burger, but besides that Binga's was great.

  • TJ S.

Wing & pick-up review only. Large quality wings, but for buffalo recommend getting a side of the sauce and asking to get them well done. Really the only place to get standard wings in downtown Portland. A "full order" of 12 wings plus "a half order" of six would satisfy two people. Recommend the dry cajun rub. Be specific and slow with waitstaff on phone, are a little confused. Have screwed up order twice.

I found this place by looking on Yelp, and I loved it! Thanks, Yelpers! The wings were amazing ! I had the garlic Buffalo wings. I am still thinking about them! The place was nice and clean, too, with lots of big screens around and little ones at each table.

I don't even want to give them one star. One would expect that they would put a little effort behind the one vegetarian meal they have (a tofu wrap). They don't. I'm not surprised that they wouldn't really cater to the veggies that get dragged there by their poultry-eating friends, but COME ON.

My family and I are regulars at Binga's Stadium and it's our favorite place for many reasons but the biggest, and the most obvious reason is because they have the. best. damn. wings you will EVER eat. The Crunchiest, biggest, and most delicious wings than anyone- and don't sell yourself short either, the smoked wings are out of this world. The choices of flavors and sauces are endless since you can choose all of them either traditional (fried) or smoked, some flavors are better one way or the other, but most are amazing either way. The staff is wonderful, friendly and attentive- we've rarely had any mistakes and if so, they made it right without any questions. The atmosphere is fun and lively, and especially great if you are a huge sports fan like us. Wednesday nights are our favorite because not only can you get 1/2 priced wings but you can catch 1/2 priced appetizers at happy hour and catch some live local music which they have been doing lately at 8pm. Some of our favorites are the pickle chips, and holy crap, fried broccoli!! my husband hates broccoli- and he loves it. Their BBQ is fantastic but it's hard for us to go there and not get wings- our favorites are Traditional style Hot Mango, Smoked General Tso's, and Spice Girl and Spicey Redneck either Traditional or Smoked.

I Just went back to Bingas this weekend and tried four more flavors of wings, grilled meatloaf, mac and cheese and chili and some Ice cold beer ( not all in the same seating...that would be wrong). The wings were just as good as my first experience. This time we went with Peanut Butter and Jelly ( yes you read that correctly) Maple BBQ Buffalo, Thai Peanut Chili and Honey BBQ Buffalo. All were great but my favorite was the PBJ. Sweet and Savory and tasty. The meatloaf dinner was huge. The loaf was cut about the same size as a loaf of bread and came with two pieces that were grilled for a nice smokey charcoal flavor. It was surprisingly moist topped with gravy. I choose to have it with some creamy sharp penne mac and cheese, fresh cut fries and a large hunk of sweet cornbread ( with yummy cinnamon butter). The only disappointment I had this time around was the chili that tasted burnt to me. In spite of the chili, l am still addicted to this place and plan to return soon for some more wing options.

This is the best sports bar I've been to in Portland. The people watching is as good as the game watching. The wings are awesome, but nothing else on the menu is worth ordering. Avoid the sweet potato fries. When asked what was in falafel our waitress replied "spices, um... you know, that falafel stuff." Other than that, she was great. Here is some more advice: get the wings, not the falafel. Spice consistency is another problem for Bingas. Hot mango is sometimes nuclear, scald-your-mouth inferno, and other times it's simply tepid mango. It's always delicious though. I've said all these negative things and I still give the place 4 stars. If I was rating on the wings, the beer and the atmosphere alone, I'd give it 5.

Binga's is huge! So much bigger than it looks from the outside. We had really good wings when we came and its a fun atmosphere to watch a game (especially being from New York haha) We came in on a whim and would definitely come back again.

Binga's is my crack. Saying I'm obsessed would be putting it mildly! There's nothing better than an order of wings with Slugger's BBQ sauce, an order of fries and fried pickles. Their blanch (bleu cheese/ranch) dressing is beyond delicious and goes perfectly with almost all of their sauces (not sure how it'd be with the PB&J wings, but I don't think I'll ever be able to comment on that)! Writing this has made me start craving wings, so I will now be forced to drive my ass over there and devour some amazing chicken! Also, their all you can eat wing special for $9.99 (Mon-Thur) is a pretty sweet deal if you know you're going to eat a lot.

Great wings, and a cool menu that is not just the usual crap you'd expect from a wing place. All the different sauces are so exciting to choose from. Our server told us the first time I went there with my little bro that the all you can eat wing special is actually not the best deal, just pay as you go. Last time I tried to go here it was JAM PACKED and there was a 45 min backup in the kitchen! (It was right before the hockey game). So I'd suggest either getting there early on game day or being prepared to wait! On the topic of "night life," Binga's seems pretty hilariously involved in the Portland scene. The first time we were there my brother and I watched 4 out of town Canadian dudes pick up 4 incredibly over-dressed local girls eating wings at 9pm, complete with the dudes ordering Red Headed Sluts to their incredibly well lit booth as their smooth opening move. Go for the wings, go for the entertainment, go for the TVs!

Oh my gosh, best wings I have EVER had! Trust the servers and don't be too macho because the hottest wings are so hot you won't taste anything for days. Great place to watch sports! Lots of large screens. We love Bingas! We go every chance we get.

The wings are pretty good, but even with all of the flavors, not my favorite place for wings. Other than that, I always end up dissapointed with the food and it has a very impersonal atmosphere.

Great place to catch a game as they're all on at least one of the screens. Nice beer choices. Good pub grub and decent sandwiches - you could do a lot worse in this part of town. The deisel wings burned off three layers of lip skin though so beware of the heat levels as they can crank up the wings.

Binga's at the Stadium is a major step up for both franchises. Binga's Winga's has been doing their wing thing for some time now with a concentration on the food and little concern for atmosphere or flair. The Stadium, in it's previous incarnations, was a great place to watch a game but the food and service made it a less than memorable experience. So, take the great food of Binga's and the great bar and tv plastered Stadium and finally, a winner! Clearly Binga's does wings and they do them very well. From super hot to just flavorful or sweet wings they've got you covered. You can get wings smoked or traditional. The traditional wings are a bit crispy .. just perfect. Binga's does their own sauces and they have something for everyone. There must be 20+ draft beer selections including local favorites from Portland's great microbrew community. The beers seem to be a couple of degrees colder than you might get in another bar too. The food and experience right now is five stars, but time will tell the full story. It seems the management and staff of the Stadium are back running Binga's at the Stadium. My experiences with how The Stadium was run in the past was not always great. The service was less than stellar and they even seemed to not stick to their posted opening and closing hours. Hopefully with the Binga's name attached things have improved in those areas. As it stands, Binga's at the Stadium has great food and drink and a million TV's so you can't possibly miss the game .

It's been a long wait for the best wings it town, and it was totally worth it. The newly renovated space makes it one of the best places in town to watch a game. Much better then what it used to be. TV's in every booth, 4 projectors on the walls make for un-fenway like viewability. Certainly not "Busch" league. In reference to the 1 of 30+ beers on tap.

The original Bingas Wingas was the bomb, but it burned down. Now we have Bingas Stadium which is great. However, despite all the TVs and shiny tables and chairs, it just isn't as good as the original.

This is the best dance hall in Portland, ME. If you're in the mood for dancing, or want a ton of TVs for sports viewing and beer/wings to down while you watch - this is the place for you. Recently revamped, this place is located just off the Old Port row across from the Civic Center. Tons of seating and great food for the lunch/dinner crowd with plenty of TVs for watching sports and other live entertainment. Pool tables downstairs with a big dance floor which packs up on Wed/Fri/Sat nights. This is where all of the 21+ (actually they even have a 18+ night) people go to get down on the weekends. Wednesday is actually the BUSIEST night of the week for ladies night. If you want to dance, have decent priced drinks and food and enjoy the company of younger audience, this is the place!

Binga's has meaty, Buffalo style wings that will make you break a sweat. They have a awesome bleu cheese ranch combo name "blanch" and tons of micro brews on tap to choose from. This is the real deal and my favorite place in Maine for hot wings.

This place is definitely stadium-sized. Huuge TV's. Little TV's. TV's EVERYWHERE make it a decent place to watch the game(s) on Sunday. I can't vouch for the wings and the beer pitcher prices were kinda high, but I would head back to Binga's again with some friends in order to watch a game. But that is about it.

This is the perfect place to watch the Patriots win. Good selection of beers, wing sauces, and fried pickles. I've had better wings (the sauces seemed heavy on heat and light on tanginess) but they were perfectly fried and served promptly and with a smile.

I have been dining on these Wingas since the Warf St. Location, and I must say that they are as delicious as ever. I am not sure if I got recognized as the dude that finished a whole order of Chernobyl Tendas or what. This location appears to spice things hotter than it's Yarmouth, ME counterpart. I highly recommend the Redneck wings. Smoked, of course. The Hot Mango is also tasty, but not for the feint of heart. The environment is very relaxed. With well over a dozen Direct TV-looking tuners in a case behind the bar, and enough screens to make use of them all, you aren't likely to miss the game here... No matter what channel it's on. The beer selection is nothing to be ashamed of, with at least ten, and upwards of thirty, on tap on any given day. This is one of the great little gems of Portland. It's usually very busy, but there is seldom a wait for a table. The service is speedy, to boot! Pricing is fair, with a dozen wings running $12.99 and all you can eat buffalo wings for $12.99 per person through Thursday night. A word to the wise - Don't bravely try the '08 Fire Wingas... Unless you've heard of the Ghost Chili, and the idea of eating a few doesn't scare you. These tasty morsels, presumably named after the demise of the Congress St. location, are a noticeable step up from the previous top dog. Thats right kids, Chernobyl pales in comparison to the '08 Fire.

OK, I miss the original joint on Congress. It had great character and characters. This place is just too big. The wings are still great. Love them to a fault. Decent sliders also with a good beer selection. But the cavernous nature of this space makes it sterile and down right boring. Sports bars, which is really what this is now, are a dime a dozen and this one doesn't even have all the great sports channels out there. Plus the bartender had a difficult if not impossible time pouring a good draft. So, if you want really good wings in a establishment with no atmosphere this is your place.

Ryan Flaherty, Portland native, is starting today for the Orioles in a game where the Orioles could win the ALDS. We asked the seating waitress which TV would have the game, and we were greeted like I had marshmallows falling out of my ears for suggesting baseball be watched in a sports bar. We have never eaten in Bingas. After their zero interest in supporting a local boy in the playoffs, we never will. There are plenty of places in Portland that embrace Portland.

Didn't eat here because there was no waitress or hostess working at 1pm on a Thursday - just one bartender. Couldn't get my father in law in because the elevator needed to be activated by the employee. The music was so loud and the locals are straight from redneck country. We left!

We love Bingas! It's a great place to come, relax and watch some sports on the many TV's located in the restaurant. I usually have the smoked wings with with either redneck, spicy redneck, spice girl or valley girl sauce but tonight I had the half rack of ribs with mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese and cornbread. I've actually been here several times and never tried the BBQ but the ribs were delicious! The half rack portion was just enough for me, plenty of meat and great tasting sauce! They have plenty of beers on tap and usually during the week have specials going on. Service is usually good although there are a couple waitresses we try to avoid. Good place to watch a game or if your going to an event at the civic center.

Confession time: Back in June when I wrote my original review, I was very upset with the way in which my friends and I were treated by the staff at Bingas. Clearly at this establishment the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. We had called to confirm (twice) that the restaurant was running their $0.50 wing special and upon arrival were told that the person on the phone was in error. Instead of talking to us politely our waitress was dismissive and rude (young blonde girl). So, I wrote "Yo" on a single napkin with a very small amount of ketchup (I had intended to write "You Lied", but my wife stopped me). I crumbled the napkin up (no mess) and my party left. Since that time, I have been to Binga's many times and have had a great time with no problems. Tonight (8.28.13) 9 colleagues and I went to Binga's. When we arrived we were told that the $0.50 wing special was no longer running (even though the napkin holders on all the tables said that it was) and that their new 1/2 off wing special was in effect. One of the persons in my group mentioned to the waitress that the napkin holders still had the $0.50 wing information printed on them, this was done to make the waitress aware, not to plea bargain for the now obsolete special...the difference in price was only $1.50..negligable..who cares. We were pleasantly surprised when the waitress returned and said that management would honor the special after 9 P.M. This was very nice, but was irrelevant, since we wanted to eat at 8 P.M. AFTER the waitress had told us about the correction to the wing special our group began to order our food, but was abruptly cut off when our waitress said "hold on a sec" and disappeared for over 10 minutes. Throughout the night this behavior continued. Orders were taken and forgotten. Drinks were ordered and not delivered in a timely manner. A couple in our party that was trying to leave had to wait over 30 minutes for our server to return to the table, get the check and then swipe their card. There were three separate times when our server disappeared for 20 minutes at a time. It got so bad, we even started timing her absences. The place wasn't even crowded. At the conclusion of our meal, many of us were upset with the lack of service. Several of us, myself included left poor tips. (I have worked in restaurants for almost 10 years and know how hard it is being a food server...I nearly always leave 20% gratuity, unless the service is TERRIBLE). Individually, we all were upset and I believe our tips reflected that. At the end of the night (post tip), after waiting for a while for a box, a colleague and I went up to the bar and asked the bartender (short, brunette) for boxes. She asked us who our server was and I said I didn't know and that I was a little bothered at how slow the service was (we were there for 2.5 hours, granted we were not in a hurry). This lady then identified herself as a manager and said to the other guy with me "can you go over there, I would like to talk to him in private" (him - referring to me). As soon as he left, the lady behind the bar started spazing out at me. She told me that "no one in this entire restaurant wanted to wait on you". She then accused me of using an entire ketchup bottle to draw penises all over a table! Clearly, someone from the wait-staff has been lying to this individual. I never drew anything on the table, it was on a napkin...and it was 2 letters...not a "whole bunch of penises". She called my group "incredibly rude" and implied that we got what we deserved. She said that the we got poor service because they didn't like us and because no one else wanted to wait on us. The thing that blew me away was the animosity that this young lady had towards me. She just kept spazing out. I talked to her for a while at the bar. I told her "regardless of what you think I may have done, your feelings towards me have nothing to do with anyone else in my party" What they allegedly think happed 3 months ago, has nothing to do with the way in which my colleagues and I were treated tonight. This went on for a while and I eventually told her that I didn't want to discuss it anymore and walked back over to my table. At this point she followed me over to the table and continued to flip out at me tableside in front of my colleagues. I kept telling her that I was done with the conversation and how i didn't think it was appropriate that she was disrespecting me and my colleagues. One of the individuals from my group stepped in to draw her attention and helped me leave. Never in my life have I ever been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant. I am very grateful to the manager that emailed me a few months ago to clear some things up, but the way in which my group and I were treated tonight at Binga's means that none of us will EVER BE GOING BACK. Which sucks, because one of us calls Binga's his "favorite restaurant" and has been going for years.

When the Sea Dogs game was rained out, we sought shelter from the storm at Binga's. My drinking companion started with a Sam Lager that wasn't quite right, so he traded it in for a Coors Lite, if I recall correctly (Jim Koch would have been horrified). I enjoyed an Old Thumper because they run a sweet promo, "Talls for Smalls" during all Sox Games. Yum. Wings are the main attraction here. After much deliberation we went with 12 Diesel Heat Buffalo Wingas and 12 Hot Redneck Wingas (Maple & Buffalo). The Redneck sauce stole the show. A nice kick, not too sweet, and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back for more. Ambiance is typical sports bar (tv's in booths are a nice touch), but beware the occasional OOC bachelorette party. Service was efficient, but not exactly warm.

Teaming up with Binga's Wingers was the smartest thing the Stadium has done. It's loud and distracting atmosphere can make it tough to enjoy a favorite team, but they make up for that in good wings and cold beer. Huge place, so great to meet up with a crew of people. Also not bad for a couple who enjoys sports bars. Wouldn't bring your first date or expect to have conversations.

This is one of my favorite "Sports bar" in the Portland Area. The dining area is surrounded by HUGE TVs and is great for when you want to watch a game! As for food, I have never had a bad meal here. They have a huge array of sauces for wings, so you know everyone will find something they like! I tend to love the Valley Girl Sauce but I have tried a few others that were just as good (The PB&J sauce....really does taste like you are eating a PB&J!!!). The wings I have gotten have always been full of meat and super moist! I love the Blanch sauce! Some of the sides are pretty good as well. My friend's all love the Mac n Cheese, but I am a fan of the mashed sweet potatoes! If you are looking for wings that will please the pickiest person then I would definitely venture here! The service has also never been horrible, as long as you understand that they will have their up and down times. For example I have gone there when no one is around and the waitresses are overly helpful, but big game days you need to be a little more patient. It, of course, is to be expected! We have also gone on "special" nights. They have a separate area downstairs that has a dance floor, another bar and other things to do. I have never felt overly crowded down there, and if you stay within drink specials (usually a well drink and beer) it isn't that expensive! All in all, a well rounded, fun bar!

I found this place by looking on Yelp, and I loved it! Thanks, Yelpers! The wings were amazing ! I had the garlic Buffalo wings. I am still thinking about them! The place was nice and clean, too, with lots of big screens around and little ones at each table.

We ate there while waiting for a pirates game to start. It was my birthday and first hockey game ever so good food was a must and Bingas did not disappoint! Even my teen daughters love this place! No better place to watch the traxxis/loors races

Great place to catch a game as they're all on at least one of the screens. Nice beer choices. Good pub grub and decent sandwiches - you could do a lot worse in this part of town. The deisel wings burned off three layers of lip skin though so beware of the heat levels as they can crank up the wings.

Love it.

I only got takeout but these wings were very good, crispy, big & tasty. Sauces were great. Gravy was great. Looked like a good place to watch a game for sure. Pretty & friendly hostess & waitresses didn't hurt either.

Great service and amazing wings. We had a bunch of wings, fries with gravy and fried pickles. Everything was great and it was a fun atmosphere. Not enough TVs, though.
