My wife and I went to dinner here with family. The food was solid. My broiled scallops were real, quite thick and seasoned/buttered expertly. My only real complaint is that an otherwise great evening was dampened by the fact the place apparently closes before 8pm. We arrived just before 7 and felt rushed nearly from the time we stepped in the door.

My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times. The food is very good. We ate on the deck and really enjoyed the peaceful view of the lake. The wait staff are pleasant and helpful, although they seem to get overwhelmed when it gets at all busy. Our second visit was on a busier Friday evening, we ordered sandwiches, and had to wait 45 minutes for them! Still, this is one of the better options for eating out in the area. We will go back.

My uncle's friend built the deck at this place. Probably for a 30-pack of beer or something.

Boomers makes the best ever gluten free pizza!!!!! The white pizza is amazing too. There is an outside deck overlooking the lake where you can watch the sunset while having drinks or dinner.

This review will not be about the food at Boomer's because after waiting 15 minutes for our menus and then having to flag down a waitress after 40 minutes we decided to leave after being yelled at by the short haired brunette waitress. Apparently we were wrong to inquire as to which waitress was supposed to be taking care of us after a 40 minute wait. When I tried to say that we had been waiting so long, she rudely stuck her finger in my face and interrupted me and said that the table next to us waited an hour for their menus and we just needed to wait! SERIOUSLY?!? What is wrong with these people?? Clearly she has no idea what she was doing as she couldn't handle the 6 or so tables she had and she desperately needs a lesson in customer service. And to make excuses saying our 40 minute wait wasn't an issue was a slap in the face not only to us, but to the reputation of the restaurant as well. This waitress should be fired as she would be at any other restaurant that remotely cares about their patrons and has any sort of standards We are here in ME on vacation and she surely made for a horrible experience. I've never met someone so rude in my entire life and will NEVER return to this restaurant and will be sure to spread the word about the horrendous service. On the plus side we decided to go to The Smilin Moose which had impeccable service and great food! So if you're reading this skip Boomers all together and head over to The Smilin Moose

Food was only OK. Nothing to write home about. Service was incredibly lacking. Slow, appetizer came out with the entree. Kids meal (pasta) says it comes with garlic bread. No bread when it was brought to table. When questioned, we were told that you had to request it. We asked for it and them were told that they were out of garlic bread. Seriously! You couldn't just take a lobster roll bun an slap some garlic butter on it. After we asked for a manager/owner, suddenly garlic bread was available to take home. Sounds like a waitress not wanting to do her job. It is not like it was for a gourmet meal. It's a kids meal! Had a "sandwich" which was meat with shredded lettuce in a lobster roll bun.

Dinner on the lakeside deck last night was slow, very slow. The deck tables were almost all full with three waitresses to cover. It took 15 minutes for our server to take a drink order, another 15 minutes to serve drinks and take our order. 40 minutes later a bland, mozzarella covered plate of bagged corn chips arrived. Don't bother with these nachos, the potato skins look better. The fish and chips arrived 15minutes later. These were tasty & hot, not a lot of batter, just the way I like them. ** for service *** for food, especially since few options in Norway.

My boyfriend and I went here for a late lunch and were very happy that we did! It was a beautiful day and were able to sit out on the deck. All of there servers were incredibly friendly and helpful! We split the chili bread bowl, it was delicious! We also enjoyed a pulled pork sub and the fish filet witch were also delicious. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

Boomers is great! Though if there is a crowd, you'll be waiting a while for your food. The deck in the back sits on the lake and has a nice view. Service can be quite slow but always friendly. I try to get there early if going for dinner. The onion rings are some of the best I've had.
