So I just finished a Canadian road trip and had a Timmy's every day for 4 days and this was during their March roll up the rim promotion so I had been winning free donuts and coffees. SO awesome! Then after my last Timmy's before leaving Canada, I won another free coffee once again but was soo saddened that I couldn't redeem it since I wasn't aware of any Timmy's on my way back to Boston. Lo and behold I found this Timmy's after a day of skiing at Sunday River! The staff here were nice but the place was deserted, people should give it a try especially in March! I like the mocha and the medium double double. Just a fair warning, their drinks here are pretty sweet, but I like that.

76 Pleasant Street Restaurant

Reviews:
76 Pleasant Street is way more than pleasant: it's a revelation. Who would have guessed what a jewel was waiting for us in Norway, Maine? My Aunt and Uncle who have a home in Raymond, Maine and in the Washington, DC area told us to be prepared to be amazed by the quality of the cuisine, and they were right. My husband and I are born and bred New Yorkers and have wined and dined around the world. 76 Pleasant Street certainly stands up honorably among my favorite overall dining experiences. As the previous reviewers stated, the atmosphere is charming and intimate. 76 Pleasant is a lovely late Victorian home and you feel very welcome and comfortable from the minute you are on the premises. From the warm, crusty bread, to the extensive wine list to the exquisitely presented and delicious dishes, we were delighted again and again through each course. I really wish I had taken photos of the food, because the sight as well as the taste were admirable. I started with the grilled romaine and asparagus with cranberries, tomato vin and asiago cheese. This dish was truly beautiful to look at and I appreciated every bite. My compatriots had lump crab salad, fried squid and a classic wedge of iceberg lettuce salad. I don't think even a single cranberry was left on a plate, it was so good. The entrees were equally appealing and satisfying: I had the grilled organic chicken breast with saffron Israeli couscous and peperonata and my party had duck and sand dab (a local flounder). Winners, all. For dessert, no one wanted to split: we all wanted to try our own and sample others' picks. I had the red velvet cheesecake (delicious and not overbearing), and other choices were limoncello cake, profiteroles and guava flan. Again, not a crumb remained on our plates. 76 Pleasant Street was a fabulous find and could easily stand up against any of the restaurants in my Upper West Side neighborhood and win hands down for food, service and charm. We drove 90 minutes there and back to savor the experience and it was well-worth the trip.
A gem far away from the crowd. This restaurant in a cozy, converted home has it all. Gourmet food, very reasonable prices, a decent wine list and Pleasent staff. This husband and wife team really knows how to make a dinning experience special. Only negative was that the food came out too quickly. That and it's small size requires reservations. Try it. It IS worth the drive.
Another wonderful evening. Service and ambiance were great. I had the fried oyster and spinach salad, and the roast duck. She had the cauliflower bisque and the scallops. We'll definitely go back, it's worth the trip.

Being a local, i've eaten here a number of times and have liked everything i've had. the chicken pie is amazing!
My wife and I went to dinner here with family. The food was solid. My broiled scallops were real, quite thick and seasoned/buttered expertly. My only real complaint is that an otherwise great evening was dampened by the fact the place apparently closes before 8pm. We arrived just before 7 and felt rushed nearly from the time we stepped in the door.
My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times. The food is very good. We ate on the deck and really enjoyed the peaceful view of the lake. The wait staff are pleasant and helpful, although they seem to get overwhelmed when it gets at all busy. Our second visit was on a busier Friday evening, we ordered sandwiches, and had to wait 45 minutes for them! Still, this is one of the better options for eating out in the area. We will go back.

Ari’s Pizza & Subs

Greek style pizza. Nothing fancy. Nice to find a place where you can grab a quick slice on the way to the speedway. Friendly staff at the counter. Will stop by again when we're in the area.
I eat here at least a couple of times a month. I think the pizza is good. They make their own chicken salad (really good) and their own red sauce for meatball subs. They may put it on the pizza, too. I like that if you buy just one slice of pizza, they will put what you want on it -- you don't have to have just plain cheese. My husband likes their cheeseburger subs. It's very clean, pleasant, quick service.
Best place on Main Street! Try the Steak Bomb. You won't be disappointed. Homemade whoopie pies are delicious. I had the Peanut Butter whoopie. YUM!
