These dogs are great! I've loved Flo's since the 1960's, but the parking's so darn bad and unsafe and the waiting so tedious that I was glad to find the Dog House a few years ago. These dogs are great. They do have quite the variety but the grilled dog with "the works," is really the best. I highly recommend this place.

Before eating at the Dog House I hadn't eaten a hot dog in years. They just don't do anything for me. Now that I've discovered this place, I've eaten here at least a dozen times. The bacon cheese dog with sweets, hots, onions and brown mustard just can't be beat. I don't know if it's the quality of the dog and the bacon or what, but this is not your normal dog. The service isn't bad, they're just not the most friendly. They're not rude either, though. Who cares, I'm there for the food, not to make friends. The prices are good too, just make sure you bring cash, they do not take debit/credit cards. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try it.

Tried to stop here for a quick lunch. Four customers (one order) ahead of me were waiting for their food. I stepped up to the counter and waited. And waited. One employee behind the counter did not acknowledge my presence for 5 minutes. How hard is it to say "I'll be right with you?" Must have been overwhelmed by the "rush". I gave up. Grabbed lunch at the Bagel Caboose across the rotary.

Best hot dog and fries ever!! You can get them grilled or steamed. They have burgers too!! Lots of toppings to choose from. It's just a takeout place with a couple of picnic tables outside. They also serve ice cream too!

My wife thinks hot dogs are ok, with mustard. She got the foot long and said it didn't need ANYTHING on it the flavor was so good! She said it didn't even need the bacon! To which I replied "Begone blasphemer!" and wished her into the corn field. By the time she made her way back, the place was closed and she couldn't get another one (actually we got there just before close (4pm)).

A foot long ($5) that's really over a foot long. The dog requires two paper dog holders, one bun and is generally ridiculous. Griddled until skin is crisp, this monster is of the thin variety. Nice snap to the skin and good salty meat content. Add bacon and cheese ($.50 each) and you wind up with two grilled round pieces of bacon and four halves of cheese into which the monster dog is nestled. A refular dog with hot pepper relish, sauerkraut and mustard is a bit of a mess but exteemely tasty. Your options are either griddled or steamed. Toppings include bacon, cheese, cilli, kraut, ketchup, mustard, hot relish, sweet relish. Burgers are available as are fries and sausages. Ice cream is served as well. Polite, quick, easy on easy off 95.

I LOVE when people do simple, right! And these people do simple, FABULOUS!! Good 'ol fashioned hot dogs, burgers, fries and drinks. They added an ice cream stand next door featuring locally made ice cream. AWESOME!!! Not a lot of places to sit, and with the winters in Maine outside is out of the question. Definitely will go back!!

The hot dogs were delicious and affordable (according to the posted menu) but for some reason the total for 3 dogs and 2 drinks was $18. Huh? They were listed as around $3 each. Whatever.

Since discovering the Dog House on the Kittery traffic circle, I always make sure to stop there when I'm in the area. It's got all the charm of a classic hot dog stand with surprisingly high-quality food! In addition to really tasty dogs, the veggie dogs are great, and the lobster rolls and ice cream are among the best around. It's a true hidden gem!

hello vegatarians if you want veggie dog get your butt to kittery traffic circle....yep you heard me. this little shack kicks bleepppppppp. dogs, steamed or grilled? whay my choice? combo deals?? with fries and soda.. 1,2,3 dogs...meat or veg. i think topping different too.saurkraut, brown mustard or yellow...thank you!!!! chili too??? i think they sell cheese steak.. probably good. it is awesome take out fast as the devil chasing pam anderson..well anyone chasing pam. they have malt vinegar for your fries is a sign of know how.... know how to make me happy. just so you know i hate hot dogs cause it is the only food my babysitters knew how to make. ugh... but since i discovered veggie dogs with toppings i am pumped. you need to go here. just drive round and round.

What a great hidden gem. The dogs are really high quality (and grilled!!), they've got Giffords ice cream, which I love and is really great stuff, and the lobster rolls are AMAZING for the price. Great to find a place that does what it sets out to do really well. This place deserves to have an army of dedicated patrons.
