Maine wildberry is delicious! If you shop and some of the local shops you will be lucky to recieve a coupon for Aunt Marie's. If I did not get that coupon I would have never had the opportunity to try its delectable Main wildberry icecream. I am so sad I ate it so fast. So creamy!

Flavorful, creamy, local-made ice cream--just marvelous. Portions are generous, especially if you go to the Clam Shack for your previous meal and a free coupon. My personal favorite is the Maine wildberry flavor, which featured delectable chunks of local berries, but the more conventional flavors tasted excellent as well. There's not a lot of space to sit nearby, but it's lovely to walk around Kennebunkport licking a cone of this deliciousness.

Rich, creamy, utterly delectable local-made ice cream. I got the chocolate every time I went here - and it seems to be even more delicious after going to the Clam Shack and getting a free coupon for this ice cream. As it's just a corner shop, there's no place to sit down and eat, but it's even lovelier to walk around Kennebunkport and lap up this delightful dessert.

Before you go to Aunt Marie's drop by the Clam Shack around the corner. Each time Sarah and I ordered from there, we received a coupon for a 2-for-1 ice cream at Aunt Marie's. I'm not sure if it was just a promotion that we caught, or a long-term thing. Aunt Marie's is a tiny ice cream shop with just a window facing Ocean Avenue. I would say you'll need to look closely to find it, except there is usually a small crowd milling around it, so look for the crowd. They serve very good ice cream. I'm not sure who makes the ice cream, but it is very rich. Among them was a mint ice cream that was the mintiest we've ever had. No flavors disappointed, and you won't be, either. We went back there a couple times in our short trip. Suggestion to Marie's: put example cones out front with labels below them to try to curtail the repeated confusion about what's a regular cone vs a sugar cone vs a waffle cone.

Aunt Marie's ice cream is so rich and flavorful. I had a vanilla base with caramel and chocolate in it and it was absolutely delicious. The price is very fair and if you have a "two for one" coupon from The Clam Shack it's an even better deal. The young man serving was very helpful and polite.

5/5 only with the Clam Shack coupon (with any purchase) for buy 1 get 1 free! I wouldn't pay $4 for a single scoop here but $2 is fair for delicious, unique artisan ice cream! I got the Black Bear I think which had raspberry with a chocolate swirl and was super yummy. My brother got the blackberry which was delicious as well! Aunt Marie's is a great stop after lunch in the cute little town of Kennebunkport!

Absolutely not impressed! The ice cream is just Giffords so no reason to be so snobby. The girl behind the counter I could tell was tired I work retail I get it but the rude attitude was unneeded. No size options and far to pushy when there was no line and we tried to be friendly and make conversation. It felt like we interrupted their day.

Save room after hitting up the clam shack. You get a discount here for ice cream! They only offer a few flavors, but it is solid, and they give you a good size amount for the price. I had some raspberry/vanilla/chocolate ice cream. I forget the name of it, but it was solid. FYI - this place is a hole in the wall, so there is no indoor seating. Luckily the weather is nice enough that you can walk around the quaint little town while licking up some delicious yummy ice cream. They also serve lobster rolls (my guess it is the same exact ones as the clam shack).

Diamond on in the rough! Very small place is deceiving! Fresh and delicious lobster roll and freshly squeezed lemonade! Much cheaper than The Clam Shack and just as tasty! Wish they had more seating, but otherwise great service and food. Ice cream looked good too--will have to get some next time around.

Like most others, we stopped at aunt Marie's for ice cream after receiving a coupon from the clam shack. I ordered the moose tracks which were not peanut-buttery enough for my taste, but ok overall. My fiancé got the blueberry and was very happy with it. I tried a bite but wasn't impressed. It was ok but I can't agree with the other reviewers that this is a must stop.

They serve Gifford's ice cream. Good quality ice cream. Clarification on the Lobster Roll: it is Clam Shack lobster meat served on a hotdog Bun. Not quite the same, but it is $5 cheaper.

If you haven't stopped at Aunt Marie's for an ice cream in KB, you're missing out. Get the Muddy Boot ice cream, regular size cone comes with two flavors and is pretty darn good size. Lobster roll is good but my wife and I are starting to think that most of these places figured out it is not that hard to pick up a bunch of hot dog rolls and fresh lobster meat since we're in Maine after all, making it a fairly overpriced commodity. May as well hold out for the lobster club at arundel wharf.

this ice cream is absolutely delicious! i also love how it is a cute little window you order at. must try the lemonade next time - they squeeze it right it front of you.

It's a tiny window around the corner from the dock. We tried chocolate and the caramel caribou (sp?) flavors. Both are delicious. The caramel one is vanilla ice cream with caramel swirl and chocolate chucks in it. I loved it even though I normally don't like things in my ice cream. The guys working there were very polite and helpful. Great experience.

Definitely don't miss here after your meal at the clam shack and use your 2-for-1 coupon here. They are so generous with their portion that one scoop really is more than 3 scoops. We got two cones for 3.75 and both tasted delicious! We tried the wildberry flavor that yelpers recommended and it is very good! I also tried the crunchy chocolate and it's very rich with a nice crunchy texture of chocolate. It's really better than Ben and Jerry.

As I was about to write this review, I decided to see what other people had to say about Aunt Marie's. And funny enough, the review I was thinking about writing for this place is almost exactly what Mike E. had said. You should definitely go to Clam Shack first and eat and then follow up with a 2 for 1 ice cream at Aunt Marie's for dessert. I ordered the Wild Berry... which has to be the creamiest berry ice cream ever. I loved it!!!!! It was also a VERY GENEROUS scoop too, which is surprising because usually when you get a coupon to a place they're a little more conservative with the free stuff they give.
