My absolute favorite place to eat in Freeport. Great selection of vegetarian sandwiches, which is rare! Also, friendly and fast, even when busy.

You definitely can't leave here without trying the chocolate chip cookies. They are seriously amazing and not to be missed. This is mostly a lunch spot but I'm fairly certain that they have breakfast items as well. I've never been for breakfast but the lunch items are delicious so I imagine that they make a mean breakfast sandwich. I'm a creature of habit so my favorite thing here is the Greek roll-up with hummus and without the vinaigrette. My husband likes meat so he usually gets something meaty and always enjoys it. They use boars head deli meats and cheeses. And they can make just about any kind of sandwich imaginable. The menu is quite large and the food is tasty. Lots of sandwich and wrap options for vegetarians. And seriously-don't forget the cookies!

Wow, was this place great! Just what I needed, traveling thru the area, a delicious sandwich, chips, etc. Simple kind of grab n go-that kind of thing. But I'll get right to the point, seriously, get the chocolate chip cookie! Sure, other people have mentioned it here in Yelp, on tips, etc. They mean it. I almost didn't, and then I was waiting around for my sandwich, and then I glanced at the case and noticed there was only one left. Panic struck, I went to wait at the counter, it was very busy, the woman at the counter was helping somebody who had become a little impatient, she handled it beautifully, and then helped somebody else. I was getting nervous the cookie would be bought, but no, I got it, and it was totally the cherry on top of my lunch. I will make it a point to stop again.

Really good! Bypass the fried over priced food in Freeport and get yourself a tasty fresh sandwich. Friendly staff. Great for kids and vegetarians. Good drink selection including local beer.

Old World Deli is a great spot to get away from the big Freeport crowds and have an excellent lunch. Everyone in our party was very pleased with our sandwiches: I got the mediterranean wrap which was great and I'd easily get it again if it wasn't for all the other appetizing options on the menu. We did have a general agreement that some or our sandwiches were a little dry (resulting in a 4 star rating). The atmosphere makes this place inviting to stay and eat rather than take a sandwich to go.
