After a week long wedding extravaganza we brought the after after party here and hey treated the bride and groom and the posse as part of the family.

Delicious food, great coffee and reasonable prices! I would definitely come back here. The menu has "typical" breakfast offerings but with a homemade/gourmet twist to them but also a whole section on non-breakfast options that are available all day. The place was clean, bright and friendly. Great place to go for breakfast or brunch!

5 stars. so good! 5 of us went on one of the busiest mornings of the year and while it wasn't without hiccups, it was a memorable breakfast in a lively atmosphere. every worker in there was working hard and had their game face on. the owner was wonderfully gracious and you can tell that she knows hospitality. more importantly, you can tell that the menu is inspired. yummy diner classics kicked up a notch to be an culinary experience that you'll be glad you went out for. tourists and locals alike can enjoy this cozy breakfast spot on the hill. almond croissants looked terrific, as did the pumpkin puffs (scones)! don't miss the huevos rancheros or nuevos. they were both perfect!

I am really sad that I live across the country from this place. We ate breakfast there once this summer, and I've been missing it ever since. (I had a vegetarian eggs benedict. I expected the greens to be spinach, but amazingly it was kale and some other stuff, very well seasoned.) The service was lovely, the blue walls were beautiful, the latte was amazing... It is NO FAIR that I don't have a place like this near me. People of Maine, do you know how lucky you are? The rest of us have to live with places that pour eggs out of cartons. If you live near this place and don't go there every single day, you are a fool.

I love this place! Excellent fresh and fun menu, great brunch and lunch. Sunny and clean space, friendly staff, free wifi. Everything homemade. Two thumbs up!

This is a wonderful little place in an old house. Comfortable, good atmosphere and excellent food. Service left a little to be desired but competent. Note that it's right on the main street right across from the bank, just south of the light.

Great breakfast place - cute, nice menu, good food, good/fast service, fair prices. Very interesting veggie options. Not the best cappuccino I've ever had, but now I'm being picky. Will definitely come back.

We decided to try our breakfast luck in Damariscotta on a drizzly Labor Day. Yelp pointed us toward Crissy's on Main Street, which is a short walk away from the town lot if you're not lucky enough to get a street spot in front of it. The restaurant is set on the first floor of an old house. When you step in, you are in the front hall, complete with a staircase. Approach the pastry case, down the hall to the right to be seated in one of the homey rooms on either side of the front hall, after a good glance at the delicious looking offerings in the case, like cinnamon rolls the size of my head. The menu isn't the unlimited type that is found in IHOP or Denny's. Just a two-sided page, but the offerings are interesting enough that you don't miss hundreds of options. My spouse had a croissant sandwich ($8) with ham, scrambled eggs and cheese. This was no puny croissant, it was nearly as big as his two fists put together. The croissant tasted as though it had been made that day. My choice was the Uptown Eggs($9), which was a pair of poached eggs (perfectly done) on sauteed greens, on top of English Muffins (their own) and covered with real Hollandaise sauce. Both came with a side of hash browns. And what hash browns! Put that ketchup away from the hash browns! These fine potatoes need no such assistance. They are perfectly cooked and are redolent of rosemary. You'd be hard pressed to find better tasting hash browns. Never would I imagine that I would sing the praises of hash browns like this. I regret that I only have one stomach to give for breakfast, because I would have liked to have tried the Autumn Spice French Toast that was on the specials board, or one of the rice bowls on offer for breakfast or one of their Mexican style offerings (Enchiladas and Eggs!). They also have sandwich options for lunch or you can partake of one of those gigantic, delectable looking pastries that were in the case. Now if only they would open a branch in my hometown.

Excellent lunch today! Good service. I had a great omlette and husband had the chicken sandwich with basil mayo.. Delicious! My son had a pancake that was out of this world. Favorite breakfast/lunch spot.

The best breakfast spot around... Prices are appropriate and the food is amazing. I'm partial to the pork bowl and the huevos rancheros. It was introduced to me by a native Bristol resident who swears by it. Hands down, my go to for breakfast.

Order the corned beef hash -- it's large chunks of excellent corned beef mixed with soft cubes of potato pan fried so it's crispy all over. Stay away from the enchiladas and eggs. The enchilada sauce was too sweet, and the tortillas were strangely texture-less. Really friendly service!

Best breakfast in Mid Coast Maine. Hands down. The Mexican Breakfast Bowl is quite fresh and very tasty. The best latte I ever had was from here. I highly recommend a Maple Soy Latte. It is out of this world good. Not too sweet but not bland at all. The only reason I gave Crissy's 4 stars is the service. 9/10 it is good but when it's bad it's really bad. I'm sure the waitress I am speaking of was just having a bad day and was mad for some other reason but in Maine in the winter we don't get to go out all that often and when we do we don't want to feel bullied. Definitely going back and ordering my usual cause it's fantastic!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The menu is varied, has lots of healthy & interesting choices. The decor is inviting & vibrant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is the best! We were visiting Daramiscotta for 3 days and had breakfast there every day. Wr were with friends and between all of us there was not a thing that needed to be improved on for 10 meals. Even the gardens are pretty.

**Note: they DO take reservations! A table next to us was reserved. We stopped here Fourth of July weekend 2014, on our way from Owl's Head, Maine to Portland, Maine. It was a rainy morning and every restaurant/cafe was packed from Owl's Head to here. We were starving and traveling with two kids, 6 and 1.5. The wait was about a half hour and then they sat 7 of us at a table that was probably comfortable for 4. But, we didn't want to wait any longer! Hungry and a toddler on the verge! Food was fantastic. I had the blueberry pancakes which were fantastic. Fluffy and filled with Maine blueberries. My daughter had the french toast, which she loved! She also had a sugar roll, which looked like a gourmet donut. It had a filling and was scrumptious! Everyone else had egg dishes, which they all loved! The service was fast. I ordered an scrambled egg for my son after our food came and they had it out in less than 5 minutes. Impressive! Our waitress was totally on top of it! I found it on Yelp when we were desperately trying to find a breakfast place. Nice little find and would certainly recommend and eat here again! They do have a small back parking lot behind the restaurant.

Great breakfast food, even if you don't want breakfast for breakfast. Had the Huevos Rancheros and, except for the tortilla being a bit dry, it was very good. The plate is piled high with goodness. The staff is busy, so not always as attentive as one would like. Clean, comfortable and I'll definitely come back.

I'm not from Maine, and so I came here on a recommendation from a friend I was visiting while waiting for the bus, and was it ever a good suggestion. I got the special, Toad in a hole, which is essentially an egg cooked in a piece of bread with cheddar cheese. Simple concept, have had it before, but the bread was amazing (buttermilk bread), the egg was perfect, the cheese was great (I mean, it's cheese, obviously it's great), and the sausage and home fries that came with it were exceptional. Topped off with a tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a fresh (still warm) croissant that was probably the best croissant I've had in my entire life (with some of the best homemade strawberry jelly ever), this was a crazy good meal. And all for less than 15 bucks (well, before tax at least).

Best breakfast we've had in a long time Thankyou! We also ordered some awesome cupcakes for our boys birthday party and everybody loved them.

Very good food, nice service, and decent prices, especially for a tourist town. My only complaint is the price of the orange juice. $5 for a glass is a bit much, even if it is fresh squeezed.

Amazing amazing amazing I am never let down when I go here. Nothing bad to say. Service is great, food is fantastic. Love it here.

Wished it could have been better. Service was slow. Food was bland and slightly over priced. Coffee wasn't even much to talk about. I really wanted this place to be good, maybe it was an off day for them. Probably won't be going back.

Great breakfast spot! Came with friends while on vacation. The food was excellent, the coffee outstanding, the service terrific and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

We were simply driving by looking for a place to get a decent espresso drink. Husband spotted the "Coffee bar" part of the name of this restaurant, and we quickly found a spot to explore. We were absolutely happy with the excellent espresso pull, and the delicious blackberry lemonade. Really glad we stopped here!

After driving around for the better part of 30 minutes looking for an open restaurant for a 4th of July breakfast, luck was on our side when we stumbled upon Crissy's Breakfast & Coffee Bar. We were seated surprisingly quickly and coffee service was prompt. The menu had the normal breakfast options (make-your-own omelets, eggs benedict, etc), but we appreciated the creative Mexican-inspired items which were also included. The decor was cozy and the tables were covered with vintage decoupage. Between the delicious looking pastry display seen on the way out, the friendly waitstaff, and the homey ambiance, Crissy's will no doubt be a new Damariscotta staple.

Amazing place to eat! Cheap, Delicious, Homemade, original! I got the Asain pulled pork sandwic on a fresh made roll..... AMAZING and unique. When I came back, I got the asain pork bowl, with two poached eggs on top... AMAZING. 2 of the most delicious unique meals I have had anywhere, let alone deep woods maine.. My family sampled all of the sandwiches, everyone was very happy. I didn't care for the homeade ketchup. Deserts sell out quick, so buy them ass soon as you come in.

Good food. Good ambience. Good service. The reviews were exactly right. The ambience is comfortable and laid back. The music is a funky eccelectic mix of acid jazz, Edith Piaf, SOS band, Dolly Parton .....mixed on an iPod playing in the background not too loud to annoy or raise voices. The waitress was friendly. The side of greens were sauteed to perfection. The coffee is excellent. If not rushing out of town on a Sunday morning it is a great place to stop for breakfast.

Had a lovely breakfast here while vacationing! Eggs and coffee were delicious, and all for the right price. A definite great addition to the main Damariscotta thoroughfare!

Charming and inventive, this restaurant occupies a beautiful old home near the top of the hill on the main drag in Damariscotta. The service can be a bit slow but it is because the place is generally so busy. Definitely worth the wait and the price.

Favorite place in town for breakfast or brunch. Good coffee and great foods and baked items. We are especially partial to their hueovos rancheros, veggie hash, and the Vietnamese sandwiches.

In town to see family and my husband and I stopped here for breakfast. I don't eat gluten and they were very gluten free friendly. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on GF bread which was amazing. Homefries on the side, also great. My husband had one of the rice bowls which I have never seen anywhere else and he loved it! Service was a little bit slow - the waitress said she was busy - but otherwise it was fantastic. We sat outside on a little patio overlooking downtown. People were also coming and going because there was apparently a delicious pastry and coffee bar inside (also GF friendly). Would absolutely return here if I was in town again! Also, great price for the food. A breakfast similar to what we had in Boston would've cost a LOT more.

Literally my favorite breakfast place. I get the enchiladas and eggs every time because I can't help myself but everything I've tried was the best of whatever it was. Sausage? Best! Oatmeal? Best! Iced tea? Best! They even have gluten free pie! I want to live in this restaurant.

Fantastic food, huevos rancheros, specially made omelettes, the croissant to die for. The service was fast and friendly - ask for Heide as server. And maybe, just maybe you'll get a glimpse of the elusive genius behind the place - Crissi de Onís.
