Jeff's Catering was amazing. The food was good but the service is what was really great. I did not talk to them at all the day of the wedding as I was getting ready and I was a little nervous that the timing wouldn't be quite right or they might setup in the wrong spot. I walked into the dinner area and everything was perfect. They switched from social hour to dinner seamlessly and there was no waiting around between anything. They also cleanup and cleared out externally quickly. The whole process was great was the very beginning. They were allowing me to make changes right up until the day of the event. They were so helpful with everything! I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Out of all the DD's I've been to, this is one of the better ones. Friendly, quality service and very quick in the morning. They also remember their 'regulars' orders. Very nice.

I went here early today and had a foot long sweet onion teriyaki chicken on Italian herbs and cheese bread.. lots of lettuce, olives peppers and sweet onion sauce with mustard and mayo... It pretty standard meal for me there I don't switch it up to much when I go to Subway because I know what I like there and the consistency of the food is always fresh just like their motto...very clean area and very kind staff

Eagles Nest Restaurant

Reviews:
Another establishment with some delicious lobsta rolls! Yelp didn't fail me again with this place. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal. I like that their place mats had a word search of Maine destinations and words. It kept me from drooling and waiting for my lobsta roll to arrive. They only have one cook and one server, so make sure to be patient with them. My inlaws all highly recommend Eagles Nest as well. It's right off of a busy road, so pay attention when driving by. If you're not familiar with the area, you will drive by and miss it, like we did. Hehe...
After a lovely holiday in Bar Harbor, we decided to stop by this roadside diner on our way home. It was slightly out of the way, but the steady high ratings from Yelp led us back here. Boy are we glad we came! I split the seafood platter with a friend, and boy was it good. Some of the best fried scallop's I have ever had! Tender haddock. A few too many fries, but still soooo good. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Just realize that the portion sizes are HUGE.
Ridiculously good lobster, even if it's difficult to find. I was on a family trip through Kennebunk/Kennebunkport and Bar Harbor, and was determined to eat as much lobster as possible. When I heard about Eagle's Nest and heard some of the reviews, I realized I needed to try it. The location is difficult to find because it's a small roadside diner plopped in the middle of a residential area. We actually thought we had the wrong address at first, as there are no other restaurants or businesses in the immediate area. Parking was a bit challenging as the space is limited. That said the food is excellent and Eagle's has one of the best lobster rolls I've ever eaten. The roll has minimal mayo, and the lobster was excellent quality. The fries and coleslaw were both good, but the lobster roll was so excellent it didn't even matter. The wait staff was friendly, and even during a busy lunch hour the wait wasn't too bad. It's definitely family-friendly and there were many other tables with kids of all ages when we visited. Overall this is a high recommend if you love lobster rolls, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Maine.

Best wings in Maine, good drink prices, I've only ever been for lunch and take-out, never had a bad experience!
Great food!!! Atmosphere a bit rough but not a problem for us...on our way to ball games! Our waitress was very attentive and our food and drink came in a timely manner. We ran in to many folks that we know from other walks of life. Definitely a happening fun spot! We'll be back!
Outstanding wings! Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. It's nothing fancy but it's fun. Easy accommodations if you get drunk and can't drive home too!

Rainbow Chinese Restaurant

Reviews:
Rainbow Chinese Restaurant, a very good food choice on the Brewer side of the river! Large menu, with all of the American/Chinese regular choices. Not a corporate chain, a family run store, ask politely for the "secret" real Chinese menu options. Small, only three tables and it can be a little chilly in, so ask for extra spicy!
I love this place! The food has never been a disappointment and the people are so nice! It is only the family that works there which is great because I know them so they are awesome and make 99. Percent of it in house! They love what they do and they show that in the food! I highly recommend this place! You really won't regret it!
Have to agree with some other reviews, this place in Brewer is really the best and most authentic place in town for regular Chinese take-out joint. Only real complaint is on the lack of a Singapore Mei Fun but the other stuff makes up for it. I've had 8 different dishes and all good. Doesn't get any better, especially around these parts.

Kosta’s Restaurant & Bar

429 Wilson St
Brewer, 04412
Reviews:
We were in town visiting family recently and had the opportunity to try Kosta's for dinner. While the menu is fairly standard, everything we tried was tasty and well executed by the kitchen so absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Prices are affordable to boot. But what makes this a five star review was the quality of the service we received. The bartender, Trisha, was running the back bar and dining room all by herself while we were there and she was slammed. Every seat in the place was full. Not once did she ever get rattled or lose the smile off her face. When she took our order, she was very patient with our questions and gladly took some special requests such as my wife asking to double up on veggies with her broiled haddock in lieu of fries or rice (Sure! No problem...) or me asking for a thinner crust for my Greek pizza after she explained that the pizza crust tends to be a bit thick. I hate to be fussy but I cannot stand thick crust pizza. She pleasantly offered to have the kitchen make it thinner for me. Carbo-kid had the Fettuccine Alfredo and loved it although she could not finish it. The portion was huge. What really topped the experience was the very generous pouring hand of my now favorite bartender. Holy smokes do you get your money's worth when it comes to mixed drinks and wine. No skimping here folks. I was so impressed that I have now reconsidered my retirement plans. I can now envision me sitting on the corner stool at Kosta's (probably resembling Norm from the TV show Cheers by that point), maximizing my meager social security stipend by getting economically loaded with the help of Trisha's pouring skills. Of course if I ever share that plan with my wife my next and last memory will be of her standing over me, smoking Glock in hand, asking, "How the hell do I reload this thing?"
Not sure why this restaurant receive such high reviews. Our food was good, not great. I had chicken Marsala and my husband had the gyro. Don't look at the carpeting....yuck and the seat cushions are just as bad. Very limited wine selection. The waitress was sweet and helpful. I'm not sure what other restaurants are near, but I would check it out before Kostas.
Out touring the trees and lucked into this great homey spot. The hubby and I both had the moussaka - we needed a break from all the seafood we'd been devouring. It was a very generous portion of deliciousness. Great service got us quickly back into our car for more touring.

Yoshi Japanese Restaurant

373 Wilson St
Brewer, 04412
Reviews:
We were craving Japanese food after our flight into Bangor and found Yoshi. My family is from Japan so I've grown up eating Japanese foods, and I have eaten it from Tokyo, California, New York and even South Africa. Needless to say this place was fantastic! Great quality sushi from their salmon to white (butter) fish and their dessert was delicious! We had the pumpkin pie tempura and it was so good and unlike anything I've had before. We are two hours away but will definitely make the drive back to have it!
Really excellent and high quality sushi/sashimi. The owner does an excellent job of carefully preparing the fish and the rolls. I have had pricey high-end sushi in NYC and CA...this place parallels many a high end sushi restaurant. We'll be back!
Yoshi is simply awesome. Yoshi has become an addiction. I have celiac disease and they had a great understanding of my problem and how to accommodate me. Can't wait to go again.
