I would 100% recommend this B&B as an awesome place to stay for skiing at Sunday River, Leaf Peeping in Maine, or just a chance to get away - with your dog(s)! Unlike many B&Bs/Hotels that are "Pet Friendly", Paws Inn allows you to leave your dog (or cat!) when you go out for the day. Either leave your furball in your room, or leave him out to play with the other furry guests! My boyfriend and I (and our PeanutButter) stayed here for two nights to go skiing at Sunday River. Our room (the 'pink' room) was small but lovely and each room has a private bathroom (and I believe each of the three rooms has a queen bed). The common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen, porch, fenced in backyard area) are kept SO CLEAN for a place that has 1-10 dogs running around at any given time. No fur flying here. The owner, Carolyn - 'Bailey' - is super friendly and loves animals, and you can tell. She will provide you with a great breakfast and also load you down with snacks to take to the mountain ("Because the food is just too expensive there!"). She also has a big stack of hankerchiefs for the animal guests, and lots of dog treats. Bailey's dog, Kip, is a wonderful Shepherd/Collie mix, and made PeanutButter feel at home right away. She enjoyed her day romping around with him and some of the other guests' dogs. I loved our time here and will definitely be back.

I stayed at The Paws Inn with my mom and our three smallish dogs around the Thanksgiving holiday. If you're looking for a getaway in the Bethel, Maine area AND you're a pet owner, this is definitely the place for you. Unlike other inns in the area that claim to be "pet friendly", your pets are welcome to stay in your room even when you leave the premises. The pet play area off the kitchen is perfect for letting your dogs out if you don't have time to take them for a walk. The kitchen and living room/dining room are cozy and super clean, considering this is a dog friendly inn! Carolyn, the innkeeper, is lovely and laid back. She makes your visit feel warm and welcome, like you're staying at a friend's house rather than at an inn. Carolyn's breakfasts are delicious! Her baked eggs and french toast are absolutely decadent! If you're looking for a quick breakfast, she puts out cereals and granola bars and keeps a fridge stocked with beverages for the guests. Kip, her German Shepherd/Collie mix is such a sweetheart, and got along well with my three dogs. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, featuring a queen size bed, sizable closet (large enough to fit plenty of luggage), two upholstered chairs, a flat screen TV with cable, and a roomy bathroom with walk-in shower. There was even space for an inflatable queen mattress on the floor. The inn offers free, fast wi-fi which was a huge plus! I was worried about being cold but the heating is great, and the thermostat is right outside the room for easy control. The Paws Inn is super affordable and honestly the best place in Bethel for pet owners. Definitely pay it a visit; you won't be disappointed!

Carolyn (Inn Keeper) and Kip (Inn Dog & good natured host) made our two labs feel welcomed and at home. Both were wonderful to us. The Inn is comfy and we had clean and cozy/spacious room. Each day started with great breakfasts. This all made Paws Inn a very nice and highly recommended place to stay while skiing or playing in Bethel. We will be bark.

We had a great time staying at Paws Inn with our 9 month old puppy. We were able to go skiing to Sunday River not worrying if he was ok. Our dog could be a bit too energetic but Carol and her dog Kip looked after him while keeping him enetertained. Carol is a great host and an amazing cook - we were offered freshly baked cookies as well as wine and beer (no extra charge!!). The room was comfortable and very cozy as well. We are going back for sure!!

Extremely pet-friendly and guest-friendly. We (two humans and three dogs) loved our two-night stay.
