The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because they serve delicious Gifford's ice cream. Gifford's get 5 stars....Inman's food not so much. We usually stop by for some ice cream after dinner. Decided to run over and grab some lunch for me and my husband. I went in and ordered a turkey sub and a lobster roll. Like most sandwich shops I figured I'd wait a few minutes and be on my way. It was NOT busy. 2-3 people that were already eating so my order was the only one up. 15 minutes goes by and the very nice woman working the front came over and looking very apologetic tells me that "he just realized that he ran out of lobster last night". What? I asked her "So, it took him 15 minutes to realize he was out of lobster". She said, oh no...he made the turkey sub and then realized he was out of lobster. So I then ask...so it took him 15 minutes to make a turkey sub? She was very embarrassed looking so I told her I'd take a salami sub. He made that in 5 minutes so I'm really not sure what the problem was. No comp to me for my time at all. And then I get home and the salami was bad. Had to throw it out. My husband's turkey sub was thick cut slab turkey. I'm sure plenty of people would like that but we just wanted a normal turkey sub with deli style turkey. We will never order anything but ice cream from this place again.

Inman's opened up where Bethel's Best used to be on Route 2 in Bethel and we finally got a chance to check them out. Review only covers take-out dinner; they have a totally different breakfast menu and (of course) ice cream that we did not check out. Excellent pizza w/ fresh toppings. The burgers are great as it's an a-la-cart system. $3.99 for the burger (or grilled chicken / fried haddock) + pickle and then you can add whatever else you want for an extra fee. This let us construct a non-standard feta-and-chedder burger with bacon & lettuce which we really like but rarely see on menus. I could not find a website on their menus; banner outside says they open for breakfast at 5:30am. I think they close around ~8p on weekdays and ~9p on weekends. We'll be back to try breakfast and ice cream. Hope the new owners are really successful here.

Great diner type place for a greasy burger and a milkshake. Good sweet potato fries and onion rings, too. Very casual, serving Gifford ice cream products. Very nice staff.

Stopped by for the first time today. Had been to Bethel's Best and Breau's before that however this place is defiantly the best in terms of food and service. Had a burger with goat cheese and was very good. I hear their pizza is pretty solid as well. I will be back again!

The drive West from Bethel on US Rte 2 used to lack any dining options until Gorham (20 miles away). Thankfully, Inman's opened this fall in West Bethel on the same location where Bethels Best used to be. Offer free pizza delivery within 5 mile radius-lunch menu was good and reasonably priced. They also carry homemade sweets from The Little Red Hen Diner in Andover which are a huge plus. Not a very large sitting area, but this a good alternative to downtown Bethel dining options.

Great food and much needed in the Bethel area. For breakfast, try the homemade hash. It is some of the best I have had. Good burgers and handcut fries. Sub rolls are soft and fresh. Good service and prices.
