Great little restaurant, great selection of breakfast and lunch food. Friendly staff that has a good time with customers. Open Tuesday-Sunday, they have a bar for single party's and a windows nook for larger groups. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for good home style cooking.

Very nice folks running the joint, as with most places we've been to in Maine. I had the Lobster Omelet with home fries, toast, and a side of bacon. The lobster omelet was a little bland but I corrected that by mixing in some of the bacon and adding pepper and Tabasco to it. The home fries were a little on the mushy side, no crust on them at all, but they tasted OK. The hash browns my wife got were of the frozen variety and were deep fried. She was disappointed they weren't of the normal fresh variety a diner should have. The coffee was excellent! It was an OK breakfast, all in all.

Great casual, affordable diner style breakfast where everybody knows your name. Nobody knew mine or my boyfriend's and never will, but that's fine. We came here a few months back on a trip to Bath and had a nice breakfast at the counter. The place is small and was crowded the entire breakfast shift. I seriously think everyone knew each other and/or looked like one another. That's kind of how a lot of Maine is though, to be honest... but whatever! I distinctly remember it having the vibe that it is full of Regulars and they know when you're not. Whatever though, it wasn't unwelcoming at all, but you should know it is a hometown little place. I liked my cheap tasty breakfast and would definitely come back if we were up in the area again.

Diner-style breakfast place, complete with counter service. Best, most consistent of the style in the Bath area. CHEAP. FRIENDLY. Good for the vacationing couple or the local family.

Great old fashioned diner. Nothing fancy here, and thats alright. Had poached eggs, bacon, and a biscuit. My girlfriend had a BLT. I liked the Navy ship photos on the walls. We left satisfied and smiling.

Warm, friendly, quick service and perfectly prepared breakfast. Betty's is a little gem and easy to get to off the main road. We'll stop here again when we pass this way.

Simple breakfast spot. Nothing out of the norm, and did the job as to getting a quick hot breakfast.

Fish chowder was not restauranty but homemadey made with half and half rather than heavy cream. Not too rich just buttery enough. Yum. Strawberry shortcake was so very humble and homemade. Like eating at a favorite aunty's house. A thoroughly pleasant experience. No one is trying to be haughty or beautiful. They are just trying to feed you decent comfort food.

Excellent breakfast. Everybody in our party was raving about the coffee cake, which was loaded with blueberries. The prices were great. The place is small, so we sat at the counter. We heard at least three parties turned away because there wasn't a table. It's the sort of place were the regulars get their food first, but it's not unfriendly, even so.

I had to write a review for Betty's because it only has three and deserves more. The place is small and when I walked in two of Bath ME finest and a few others were having breakfast at the counter. The waitress seemed to know everyone. So I knew i was in for good food if all the locals hang out here. I was right. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn this is a great alternative for breakfast only a short 2min walk away.

A solid 4 stars bequeathed to this venerable establishment. Betty's has an honest retro feel to it and the staff maintain an upbeat atmosphere. We sidled up to the bar and twirled on the stools. The food was pretty basic but it filled the bill.

Really great breakfast, really good blueberry pancakes, really good omelette, home fries real good too. Service attentive and a great memory. No better place for breakfast in Bath, IMHO.

Perfectly cooked classic comfort food. My husband and I had breakfast here one morning on a trip back home to Maine this summer. The place was bright, clean, and welcoming. Our waitress was nice and friendly, and the cook did an amazing job with our breakfasts. Between my husband and I, we had an omelet, a large (and I mean LARGE) blueberry pancake, eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, and toast. If you love diner style food, go to Betty's...you will not be dissapointed!

Wow! We were staying in the Hampton Inn nearby and wanted something other than the hotel food. This is a darling cafe with awesome prices! My daughter and I had bagel breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese and ham or bacon on very good bagels for $2.35 (english muffin was $.50 less)! They were SO TASTY! My husband had poached eggs and ham, my son had the meat lovers omelette - both were awesome dishes! The staff is all family and the comfortable atmosphere was very refreshing - no stuffiness here, making us feel right at home! We could tell that this is a place the locals go and that gives it extra points! We would definitely come back again - a family of four eating breakfast for $20 is extraordinary and greatly appreciated!!
