I'm a fan of Starbucks and this is a nice one. The staff is very friendly and made me an iced chai latte even though the menu only has hot ones. There are plenty of plugs and seating and Google Wifi!

Love the new look and feel. The new chairs are comfy and big. The music is sweet and the coffee is awesome as usual. I be back all winter long. If you want nice nice place to have a good hot beverage and some excellent wifi come here. Just sit back and relax. This place has MattyJ's stamp of approval.

Their coffee tastes weak, the prices are ridiculously high, the sizes are random words, and you have to go through a line from hell. No thanks, pretentious hipster nerds. I am happy with Tim Horton's.

Excellent, friendly staff who remembers my name and order since I go in often. Place just got a swanky new redesign recently and offers a drive thru. While the wait can be long at times, it's just a testament to the great service here. I can always rely on this location for my go to drinks and a positive attitude!

UPDATE: This Starbucks has just been remodeled and it looks amazing! They've added several brand new chairs around the fireplace and there is a lot more seating available now. They've also put in new flooring and updated the entire look of the place. I love it even more now!

Are you in the mood for coffee? Be sure to stop by the only Starbucks in Bangor, ME! On my way to see Stephen King's house, I ordered my drink and was completely satisfied when they perfectly made my personalized Americano. They also provide a drive thru for the people who are in a rush. The crew was friendly and competent. That's always a plus!

Just another Starbucks...although this outlet does have a fireplace in the seating area. Must be nice on a cold morning in Bangor.

Love all of their green tea favor products. If you like sweet, green tea frappuchino is great. As for someone who doesn't like too sweet, Green Tea Latte is definitely my favorite. Since I have recently start cutting down caffeine, my other great option is Green Tea Lemonade.

I love this Starbucks! The atmosphere, the employees and of course the coffee! I do miss having a clover machine, please bring one to Maine! However, i refuse to go to just about anywhere else in the Bangor area to get my caffeine fix! I highly recommend this Starbucks for all of your coffee wants and needs.

Just your average Starbucks from the outside, maybe. Just your average Starbucks friendliness you think? I'd say above average. I know, for a fact, that Starbucks employees are practically forced to smile at all times. But they are genuinely nice and when I'm a giant pain in the @$$ about working for a non-profit and having to have the sales tax taken off my bill, they aren't mean about it. They just learn how to do it and are nice. Then they wanted to learn my name - which was also cool because I came in at least three days in a row and was no longer the "tax exempt piece of crap" but Eliza. Cool.

First let me confess that I have previously worked in the coffee industry for nearly seven years. Secondly, allow me to confess that anyone that can stomach Starbucks coffee has the taste buds of a feces eating dog. I am not a coffee snob. I do know what amazing coffee tastes like and I can and do often brew the lesser blends such as Folgers. What I cannot tolerate is to drink a cup of Starbucks. I have participated in the SCAA Barista competition twice. Comparing Starbucks to a decent cup of coffee is equivalent to equating Burger King or McDonald's to a flame grilled Kobe burger in a high end restaurant. While they both may sate your hunger, one will never pretend to be the other. Starbucks utilizes lesser quality beans and attempts to overcompensate for this by over roasting them. Any coffee shop that is worth their salt will attempt a peak roast. Starbucks will over roast and sell it to you as a "City Roast." tl;dr Starbucks overcooks shit beans and sells them to you for more based on branding. You can do better.

All Starbucks are not created equal. This one is better. First the staff is amazing. They are super friendly and always have nice things to say or good things to chat about. I have been here a few times with some obscure drinks list. Initially, I would worry about them mixing up drinks, but they never let me down. This Starbucks is also on the cutting edge of pastries and merchandise. This might sound odd, but they always have the latest pastries and newest merchandise. I like to think the keystone of this Starbucks is the warm fire place. There is nothing better than resting your tired feet next to a warm fire during a harsh Maine winter.

I frequent this Starbucks often to do homework in a more pleasant and mature atmosphere than on the college campus. The staff is most always pleasant, and inside it's spacious compared to almost any other Starbuck's I have been to. There are about 10 tables to sit at, as well as 6 plush overstuffed chairs and a couch around a beautiful fireplace. I've never had a drink made bad here and the one time I got the wrong drink they were very pleasant about correcting it immediately. The drive-thru is convenient but it's narrow and the location isn't great. Also, there isn't much parking, I have often found myself having to park across the street at Toys "R" Us and walking over which isn't a big deal if the weather is nice but it could be better.

Worst java chip frap I've ever had. Was -completely- void of any ice chips when I got it, and essentially room temperature. Nasty. Hm... Now wait, let's give them a possible defense, my boyfriend DID bring it all the way from the inside of the starbucks to the car, where I was sitting, so maybe in the sweltering Maine heat it melted on the way. Or maybe these people need to: a) learn to run a blender b) be replaced c) get their heads out of the region located slightly lower than their backs d) all of the above

First time ever using a Starbucks drive through. The service was plesant enough but they either used regular milk instead of soy in Andy's drink, or they use a different brand of soy than the Boston stores. It also seemed a bit more expensive. The signage was at an odd angle so it was a bit confusing and it was plain hard to get into from Best Buy.

I love the staff. Very friendly and great service. This is one of the nicer Starbucks I have been in. Free Wi-Fi.

This is one of the nicer Starbucks I've been to. A lot of comfortable chairs, plenty of outlets, and the big fireplace are nice draws. Plus, it's nearly always deserted. No one's there vulturing over your table. I used to sit there for 3-4 hours some afternoons, and I wouldn't see 20 people come in during the whole time. The only downside - the lack of people makes parents with small children think it's perfectly acceptable to let them run around the place while the parents sip their coffee and try to drift off into the fantasy world where they didn't have children (or their children were at least well behaved). A few dirty looks usually does the trick, though.

This was one of the better Starbucks I have been in. For example, the music was at a tolerable level, not blasting you out of your chairs. The service was good, and at the drive thru they had no problem with my sister's order of a 3 Splenda Vente Wet Cappucino. I never heard of such a thing! I got a seasonal eggnog latte, and after I had been there for a while, one of the staff went around and offered everyone a sample of a seasonal peppermint latte, and a peppermint chocolate donut. I loved the two-sided fireplace, the comfortable seating. While I was there, the place was host to a man's bible study group, and every other available chair had someone with their computer, and a lot were studying there. No pressure to hurry and make room for more customers, and this was mid-morning. I enjoyed my visit to this place more than I thought I would.
