Yummy! My husband and I split a cheesesteak...it was more than enough food for us. Delicious and probably our favorite outside of Philly. The staff is incredibly nice as well,it was a very pleasant experience.

I ordered an Italian sub. Was OK in flavor however the amount of oil that was on the sub was insane. Leaked through the wrapper, sub bag and into my seat as I traveled away. The bread was very tough and chewy as well. I really liked the flavor of the sub however it was.just way way to messy!

Food was ok, typical burgers and subs. Fries are fresh and good. The food wasn't bad but not amazing, really run of the mill 3 stars. What got them the 4th star was the employees. Very friendly. Great people.

Best cheesesteaks in town! Love me some Westminster Grille! The perfect bread, not soggy or burnt, and the cheese was melted perfectly. Def my sub spot, great people that work there as well.

Good food, friendly service. My girlfriend and I ordered the provolone sticks, onion rings, a mushroom cheesesteak, and a special cheesesteak and all our food was very good. There was not too much salt on either the provolone sticks or the onion rings, which I find is typical for places like this, and while I prefer battered onion rings instead of breaded rings, they were delicious and had good flavor. Both of the cheesesteaks were made with great bread, fresh and light and fluffy, and the filling was great. We had ours with melted provolone instead of the cheese wiz. I felt as if there was a good amount of meat and cheese to the filling. Also, I find that while most places use green bell peppers for their cheesesteaks, they used red bell peppers here and the difference was noticeable. Someone commented earlier that they had a lot of grease with their food, we did not find this to be true with our order.

We've had "authentic" Philly cheesesteaks, but this place is the real deal! Comparable to South Philly and I lived there. Hand cut fries are outstanding! Excellent, friendly service. Will definitely come back here!

This place is legit. Dude goes to Philly everyday to get his rolls, stuffs the $h!t out of them with a pile of well seasoned meat and provolone cheese, mushrooms peppers and/or onions if you choose, and can somehow still manage to charge you less than $10 for a whole (12") sandwich. The fries are some of the best I've ever eaten. They're fresh cut, "Boardwalk" style but they hit them with sea salt and parmesan cheese as soon as they come out of the fryer and they're to die for. We had an order of onion rings that were perfectly cooked and very good, but with the fries man, you don't need anything else. Of note to some people, the menu is limited, so don't roll in looking for wings, pizza, or their vegan special. This joint does cheesesteaks, burgers and the like and does them damn well. Good grub, honest portions, reasonable prices and a friendly staff to boot. You need to eat here..... Keep it local

PHILLY APPROVED As someone with connections to Philadelphia and considers themselves a cheese steak connoisseur, I'm always a little skeptical whenever I find a new place to go thats not walking distance from Broad St.. As a benchmark my first steak is always sticks true to my Philly roots and I get the 'wiz-wit' or a cheese steak with fried onions If the place doesn't have cheez-wiz (big mistake!) I'll go with the 'pro-wit' or provolone with onions. Once I have the classics under my belt I might venture off and try other things on the menu but for a place that wants to be considered for a serious cheese steak I start there. The dining area is small with only a few tables, bar and wall seating available. I was there around 2-3pm and my wife and I were the only ones sitting down but there seemed to be a steady stream of business coming in for pick up orders. The food took a few minutes to get to our table but that's a good thing because you know that it was made fresh. I had my wiz-wit and my wife had ordered a burger and we got a small order fries to split. The fries came with some parmesan sprinkled on them which was a nice surprise and the owner brought over a bottle of the businesses' special sauce. Normally I just stick with ketchup but this sauce was like an onion-y thousand island-ish dipping sauce that was excellent on the fries. I enjoyed it and upon first taste wish we had ordered a basket of onion rings or could see adding it to a burger in the future. Upon first bite into that cheese steak I fell in love. I opted for the larger portion size and it was more than enough. The gooey cheeze wiz was slathered all over the sub roll and covered the tender meat. The owner actually came over and talked to us for a bit and I discovered that the meat wasn't ribeye, Now if you tell this to a Philly native they might look at you like you have 3 heads but the meat was so tender and cooked to perfection. I also discovered that the owner was from Jersey where I'm sure he no doubt-ably crossed the river many times and enjoyed the finest steaks Philly has to offer. We talked for a bit and he, as well as the rest of his staff, was very friendly and welcoming. I am so glad I finally got myself over to The Westminster Grill to try the cheese steak. At first I was skeptical to try a steak outside Philly borders as I've been burned before by some other places in MD but they made me a believer. Definitely going back for seconds. Ohh also I was too full to enjoy a canoli for dessert. I'm too ashamed to admit that to my Sicilian family but next time I'll have to leave some room for it.

Tonight was my second time here....forget the saying third-time is a charm, I was hooked from the start! Both times I have had the Cheesesteak (Philly-super). The bread is amazingly soft and tender yet doesn't get soggy...cheeze-wiz to make it authentic. Nice mix of peppers and onions...AND fries topped with grated parmesean cheese...DELICIOUS! I can't forget the staff...owner on site and personable as with the employees. Great food, people, and prices! I finally found my local sub shop in Westminster!

Pretty basic menu of burgers and subs, but they do it well. Been here twice. First time I had a bacon cheeseburger that was a decent size - probably 1/3 lb - for a reasonable price. The burger was cooked correctly and flavorful. The fries the first time were ocean boardwalk style and were some of the best I've had around town. The second time they did not seem to be the ocean style, but were still pretty good and seasoned with course sea salt. The star of the show here is the cheesesteaks though. A discriminating cheesesteak connoisseur will notice that they use the Amoroso style sub roll. You can get your steak sub with Whiz. My second time around I got half a chicken cheesesteak. It was about $5 for a 7" sandwich but they probably used as much meat as 12" at any other place you'd get a sub. Taste wise it was good - above average but nothing to write home about. Great value though. We only did carry out both times but the service was good. Food is made to order so expect to wait a few minutes or so but the staff was friendly, enthusiastic and talkative while I waited. I was even offered a beverage on the house while I waited. They're open late on weekends and I think that they'd do really well closer to downtown when the bars let out. Either way, I think they are a solid addition to the Westminster casual dining scene and hope they stick around.

I am originally from the Philly area and this place ALMOST has it right with their cheese steaks. Bread is awesome. Sandwiches are huge and VERY good... they could just use a bit more cheese. Fries are YUMMY. Everyone is friendly and nice. We WILL be back!!

Nice and warm on the cold winter Friday night that we were there. We were the only ones in the place. Service was great. Food (Cheesesteak Subs for both of us) was good. For me, the best part was the perfectly frispy onion rings. Blind Side was playing on the flat screen over the fireplace (way better than the typical sports, etc. on restaurant t.v.s). Will go back!

The food and service was great all around. The onion rings and fries were fresh and very good. My cheeseburger and Philly cheesesteak were both fantastic. The prices were also good. All around a great choice for some quick American food.

Greatest cheesesteaks in Carroll County. Truly the taste of Philadelphia Cheesesteak in a small shop in Westminster. They have daily specials that are really reasonable. instead of mozzarella sticks they offer provolone sticks that are seasoned perfectly. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant. Delivers too!

We just ate here for the 1st time yesterday. What a hidden little gem! The place is small but perfect. The sandwiches and burgers are HUGE! The fill them so full you definitely get your money's worth and then some. The rolls were fresh and the meat tender. The fries were great and the special sauce was YUMMY! Could go back again today!

This is not your run-of-the mill sub place! PLEASE be prepared to wait 5-6 minutes if you are ordering a hamburger or sub with hamburger in it because they are thicker than the fast food joints and therefore take longer to fix. Be sure to ask for the special sauce (usually found on the counter, sitting in ice) The staff are enthusiastic and the owners are very much hands on. I have given up my previous favorite hamburger place in Westminster to go here. Been in 3 times, and am astounded how well they have their culinary act together being open less than a month. If you want them to deliver, best call before 11:30 am or after 1:30 as the grill is hoping in- between those hours. The only complaint I can offer is that they need twice the space for seating. Today, all the tables and half the counter space were full. Tell them Debbie sent you!! (Full disclosure: I am not related to, nor had I ever met these folks, before my first time in there!)

I've never had a cheese steak from Philly , however the one I had today was delicious. My husband and I had a late lunch decided to try the new kid on the block and are we happy we did. The subs were delicious the fries hot and fresh cut ( yum ). The staff was pleasant and it was a clean area to eat in. The best part is they deliver. If you want a good sandwich and fries under $20.00 ( includes tip) for two give Westminster Grill a try.
