I thoroughly love Ledo Pizza. This location was frequented nearly every Friday evening for a large Chorizo sausage pizza. Some locations are hit or miss on whether they have this type of sausage, which is why I liked this one. They were docked a star as they can be a little slow and lack good customer service at times. The dining are is well kept and relaxing. Food is great.

I showed up and nobody was at the counter so I noticed the sign said "please seat yourself" so I did just that. I waited for about 10 minutes with nobody coming to help me. After another 5 minutes a young guy came to the front, looked me right in the eye and got on the telephone and called someone. When his conversation was over he went right back to the back without even acknowledging me! What disrespectful people they must employ. Will never go back again. What a waste of my time.

Seriously. This place is highly overpriced. The bruscetta was good but my sandwich was literally 3 slices of Turkey with an Apple on the side for $8. Ripoff :-(

This Ledos has really turned it around since the management change last year. The new manager I think named Maritza, does a great job and really treats everyone well and helps make the wait times less and the service more friendly. Further more the quality of the portions and pizza topping amounts has gone up. In addition they have really improved there staff, with this one really good boy on counter and a couple of really nice and efficient waitresses. This Ledo's is an awesome place to eat, especially for the environment and food quality.

Awful pizza but a good family restaurant. If you're looking for a clean quick place that your kids will enjoy, Ledo's is a good call. This location is clean, the staff is friendly, and the salad that I ordered was crisp and a good size. I don't get the pizza. I know it is a local chain and people love it for being unique, but the only part with flavor is the sauce. The cheese mix they have lacks any flavor and the crust actually tastes like cardboard. It is this dry, bland, crust with no discernible flavor. I always judge a pizza place with the plain pie, that's how you can tell if they make a worthy product and this isn't it. Even when I added salt and pepper to the plain pizza, it still didn't pop any flavor. It is possible that this pizza is a good carrier for toppings and a Ledo's pizza may be best ordered loaded with meat. Come for the kids or when you can't get into Buffalo Wild Wings or the BBQ place. Don't come for good pizza.

Wow! What a disaster. Pizza was wrong, service was so slow it was totally unacceptable. No drink refills when asked for repeatedly. Waitress kept saying "I'm really sorry" this use to be a good Ledo's but the new wait staff is awful.

I love Ledo pizza. Not traditional pizza but good. Sweet sauce and very good crust flavor. Ledos is consistent and this location does not disappoint. Not sure why it's ratings are so low but if you are looking for a quick pizza or just to sit and eat basic carry out fare this place is perfect. Bring the kids, they will love the pizza. I would go here before most restaurants in Urbana.

A Maryland pizza chain that we happen to love. Most people I know seem to either love or hate Ledos. I'm a fan of their sweet sauce, thin buttery crust, and salty provolone cheese. A family favorite!

For a restaurant that doesn't offer delivery they have to do better. The pizzas are good and the staff are pleasant but the service is very slow. My last two visits have been unacceptable. The first was a visit in February. I called an hour ahead and was told the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for a medium cheese pizza. The second time was last Friday. The lobby was packed with customers waiting for their orders. The worker told me not to bother as it was an 1.5hr wait. I don't think I'll bother anytime soon.

To whoever was assigned to cut the pizza into squares on Sunday night 11/18, you need to grow a pair of balls. How the hell are you weak enough that you couldn't cut thru the cheese and cut the crust? The crust was not cut at all so unless you just wanted to rip the pizza apart, you had to cut it yourself. Def not the way a pizza should come out. So what was usually good pizza came out as a pizza that I didn't like. Get the pizza cutter a gym membership so he can build enough muscles to cut a pizza crust.

I think for a pizza joint Ledos is pretty good. The thing I like is that they have an assortment of other things on the menu. Bruschetta, wings, pasta dishes, shrimp, sandwiches etc. I ate there today and they even had homemade chicken noodle soup! For the price and fast service you can't beat it. Beside, there aren't any dine in pizza spot any longer unless you go to the high end brick oven establishments.

We love their pizza. I should really say: our kids prefer it to any pizza out there. It could be the sweet and delicious sauce, or the great crust. Good stuff. Too bad they don't deliver! But it's worth the trip to Urbana-- which we prefer to the Germantown location. I am not sure about the other items on the menu. We just don't bother. Pizza is what they do well. So we stick to that. We usually order cheese pizza for the kids, and sausage and garlic for the adults. Both are great.

Don't listen to the other person making a review. If they never were a fan why suffer again? Great pizza, reliable service,.reasonable price! Ledo's pizza is the best!

I have never been a fan of Ledos Pizza and after my visit to the new Urbana restaurant, I'm still not. The Crab & Artichoke Dip was good although they should provide at least one more piece of bread with it. The calzones are average--edible but not great. The Buffalo Chicken calzone is not really, it's more like a Chicken Parmesan calzone. My husband liked his pizza though. The server was nice but the service was slow. To be fair, there were only two servers covering the entire restaurant. I would go back only if I were with someone else who wanted to go. There are much better options in the area.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
