Just like a jamba juice, but BETTER. i always get the banana boat smoothies. They make it so good! If you really love banana flavored things, you would love this. But why are smoothie places always so expensive?!

This place is amazing!! Best shakes/smoothies I've ever had. It's so healthy it's literally like walking into a GNC and being able to taste anything you want. Get your pump, get your shake, and get on with your day...this place is here to amp up your life, not hinder you.

Exceptional service is always provided and they seriously serve the worlds greatest smoothies! It's pure perfection. I go twice a week...only problem... They are so expensive. I catch myself paying the price of a four course meal sometimes. Other than that this place is great.

I have been coming to this location for years, so this is a retrospective review of my accumulated experiences here. I've been to other Smoothie King locations and I can share what's great about this site is the owner/manager staff it appropriately. Some locations try to save money with one employee working alone, and this is an utter nightmare once three customer come in. This Towson location always has two employees working, and the line of customers always moves quickly. Things I Like: - Fresh ingredients, great flavors! Tons of fruit and vegetable options. - Healthy or dirty, however you want it. They make shakes to get fat with, or purposeful options that can replace a meal. - Quick and courteous employees. They do a great job there. - Reward Program! I go here three times a week, and the app they have has already rewarded me with a few smoothies. Good program. - Supplements and snacks! Need protein powder, maybe trail mix? It's there. Things I Don't Like: - Pricing is ambitious. You could spend $10 on a large smoothie. Granted, a large smoothie is roughly the size of a keg, but still. It's ice, a banana, some power.... Right? Snacks a pricey too. They'll sell exotic potato chip options, but ask $2 for a small bag. It's pricey. - The order purchase process is confusing for any first timers, and I don't see the value in it as an MBA. You order your smoothie at the front of the store, then they make it, and hand it to you for payment at the back of the store. Why not knock it all out up front? Overall, this is my favorite place to get a smoothie. The owner and manager there are dedicated to good service. The product is great. 5 stars from me!

I had my first Smoothie King experience a few weeks ago. And while a tad expensive for a drink, boy was it good! I got some sort of mixed berry smoothie and it was delicious! Hit the spot on a hot day too:-) I've been to other smoothie places since and was expecting the same great combination of fruit and sweetness but was sorely disappointed by comparison. Try it if you haven't been by!

Smoothie King has the worst business model I have seen. They take smoothies you easily can make in a magic bullet and charge $8+ dollars for them. Protein powder is not that expensive. Their price margins must be 800%. People who want to eat/drink healthy should do some research. The amount they charge customers for products you can get elsewhere is crazy. I walked in once and got a shake. When I was told it was 8.50, I wanted to return it... I was shocked.

I was skeptical after reading Kevin J's review below; but I'm glad I went to Smoothie King to try out the smoothie myself because, really, some yelp-ers are totally inaccurate and biased. In short: 1: Cleanliness- 5 stars 2: Variety in menu - 5 stars 3: Variety in snack items - if you are at all looking to snack or eat healthy - this is the store for you - 5 stars 4: Friendliness - 5 stars; they were very fast in making smoothies and very nice. 5: Price: 5 stars 6: Taste: 5 stars: absolutely delicious! and if you are skeptical about its taste, then they will gladly response by making it again or recommend another item on the menu. Now if you have some time... When it comes to smoothie, I am pretty picky because THEORETICALLY we all can make everything on the smoothie store's menu (whether you are at Smoothie King, Jamba Juice or any other local place) as long as you have the ingredient, blender, and motivation. Since I have none of the above, I tend to revisit stores that meets the expectation they set for their customers. In short, I am definitely coming back to this place because it is quite amazing if you really think about it. I visited Smoothie King many many years ago somewhere else and was disappointed so going in here, besides that I was really really craving a smoothie, my bars were pretty low; I thought, who could beat Jamba Juice? I now stand corrected. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. After sometime, I ordered Mango Fest and my friend got Orange KaBam. The menu is huge and has lots of variety from snacky fruit smoothie to healthy protein filled meal-like soothie. My friend really liked Orange KaBam; it did have strong orange, sweet delicious flavor and she said she would totally get it again. I thought my MangoFest was sort of watered down with too much ice. So I approached staff asking if this is how MangoFest should taste like by tasting a bit of my smoothie, they said unfortunately yes because it has only 3 ingredients and tends to taste very light. So, since I ordered it without really asking for any recommendations, I was just gonna finish the drink. However, both staffs there insisted that they will remake my smoothie with extra Mango. They were so nice about the whole situation and said they would be happy to make me another one. I only waited like 2 minutes and I had my new smoothie. I was really happy with the second one because they said they added extra mango. So tips for next time, ask for extra mango. Also, while waiting I saw other people order smoothies and most popular ones seem to be protein/meal replacement smoothies like Lean1 and Gladiator, etc. I guess I will try one of those later. They also have lots of health bars, powders, chips, etc. Anyway, definitely not a 1 star place and perhaps not entirely 5 but staff is nice and you kinda get what you order from the menu. If you really really want all fruit filled smoothie, then you must make one yourself because all places, YES even Jamba Juice use mostly ice creams (sherberts and sorbet) to enhance their flavors. So, I will return again soon. =)

I can't even begin to express my disgust over Smoothie King in Towson. I guess I'm used to smoothies that have real fruit in them, a la Jamba Juice. I was shocked that there's no fruit in the fruit smoothie. I ordered the Blueberry Heaven Smoothie. What I got was a smoothie that had three big squirts of what looked like blueberry pancake syrup, a couple of banana syrup squirts, some protein powder and a cup and a half of ice. Bascially frozen kool aid. And it had no real flavor. It was certainly just sweet-flavored water. Do yourself a favor: you don't need high-priced sugar water from Smoothie King. Go buy some bananas, frozen fruit and some protein powder and make it yourself at home. It will at least be the real thing.

Absolutely the BEST smoothie I have ever had! I'm not a 'smoothie person' per se, but this is IT for me! My favorite is the Pineapple Surf smoothie, with a great combination of pineapple, bananna, apple juice and someother secret magical ingredients. I always get this when I go back to Baltimore. So good and so refreshing!
