I think the food was better than our previous visit, and the waitress we had rally knew what she was doing. HOWEVER, it took us 10 minutes to get on the list for a table because the people at the front end had no idea what they were doing. Someone's charge didn't go to their card or something, so the person who was supposed to take our names started helping the employee at the register, and then they just stood there talking about it for awhile... Eventually they got a manager, but then the three of them talked about it and worked on it together, all while we stood there. It took a total of 10.5 minutes to get on the list for a table.
I have been to First Watch two times now and while the food is good, the kitchen takes literally FOREVER. to get the food out. The menu has a good variety of choices, and the juices are great, I just wish the food could be faster coming out. The first experience going there wasn't great, our server seemed like she would rather be anywhere but at work. She didn't refill water quickly, or check in. Of course the food took a long time as I've said. The second experience was better in the fact that the server was super friendly and attentive but again, the wait is ridiculous. Especially for breakfast food. Not sure if I would go again.
Their brunch/lunch selections are really tasty and I particularly like the Acapulco Express Omelet. It is delicious! I am not crazy over their location but the food is worth a visit.

I had the catch of the day which was the Monk fish. Cooked perfectly, tasted fresh and served with grits, Gouda and BACON. YUM. I had the opportunity to meet Melissa who quickly resolved the slight issue we had with service in the beginning. If you haven't been, try this place-the prices are decent (the highest entree was around $25), the drinks are tasty, the food is delicious and the service is good. Will I be back? Definitely!
I have not eaten here in a while. Tonight I had the mix of cream of crab and Maryland crab soup with Caesar salad. The wait was 20 mins thats not bad for carryout. I loved the big portions..the greeting and feeling welcome was a plus. And the great menu ideas to mix and match was cool. Maybe next time I'll dine in for good ole memory sake.
Met a friend here for lunch. Wait service was friendly and attentive and made good menu suggestions. I had the blackened Ahi Tuna Wrap which came with homemade waffle potato chips and a pickle. My friend had the buffalo chicken salad. Both were absolutely delicious. We also started with a cup of crab and a cup of cream of crab soup. Both were wonderful as well. I don't end up I the Timonium area often, but the food here is definitely worth going out of my way for!

Food(7.5/10)=I spent the first nine years of my life in this area (Timonium) of Baltimore, MD and my family made regular trips to Gibby's when we still lived here. I remember it was a great place to get Blue Crabs, Maryland Lump Crab Cakes, and Soft-shell Crab Sandwiches. 16 years after my family and I moved away, I finally made my return to Gibby's on a recent visit to Baltimore. Seeking a nostalgic experience, I ordered the following: 1)Soft-shell Crab Sandwich=I received two small lightly fried soft-shell crabs in my sandwich for $8.99. I requested the kaiser roll, lettuce, and tomato. I forgot to ask for mayonnaise like how I used to have it =(. I still really enjoyed the sandwich. However, if I was living in Baltimore again, I don't think I would come to Gibby's regularly to order this sandwich. Either the quality has changed at Gibby's, or the change of my taste buds/standards during the past 16 years has made this sandwich just OK for me. 2)Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Platter=If you order a platter at Gibby's, you get to choose one side to come with it. I sort of remember that it used to be 2 sides...oh well, that was years ago. Anyways, I asked for a broiled (versus fried) lump crab cake and it was great! Lots of lump crab meat. I asked for fries as my side, and they were really good. Nice and crunch, and seasoned very well. This platter cost $11.99 for a single crab cake platter. If you want two crab cakes, the platter costs $21.99. ***check out my uploaded pics of the dishes*** Service(7.0/10)=Service was pretty standard. The 2 girls that were working behind the counter looked like they were still in high school (they still had braces). Ambiance(7.0/10)=It's really just a fish market, and not a restaurant. There really isn't a place for you to sit and comfortably eat your food. All I saw at Gibby's were two white chairs, and they are probably there for customers who are waiting for their orders. The seafood is really fresh, as Gibby's receives daily shipments. All the seafood is nicely displayed. A variety of steamed crabs (by sex and weight) are displayed in boxes on top of the display fridges. Overall opinion=Although I didn't get that nostalgic feeling I was hoping for during my recent visit to Gibby's, I still enjoyed coming back here again. It's amazing that they are still here after 16 years. I guess that's proof that they are a great and reliable business for great seafood. Judging this place in terms of it being a restaurant, I'm only giving Gibby's three Yelp stars. The reason for three Yelp stars is because I've only tried two items off their menu. If I ever come back again, I'll sample other items. If they're good, then maybe I'll bump Gibby's to four Yelp stars.
Their crabs are so so good and meaty. Just make sure you ask for the female ones since they are meatier than the male ones. My sister ordered them to go. And I love the spices that go with it.
No one in the area has better crabs, period! I have tried them all and they just do them right. We just had 2 dozen jumbos and they were so big they needed 2 bags for them. Granted they were not cheap but 6 of us ate them and we were stuffed and smiling by the time we were done. I have been ordering from them for many years and they have never let me down.

I have been here for drinks, dinners, and just to sit at the bar. It's a nice place to do all three!! You can have a nice night out for drinks and dinner and enjoy their crab cakes! YUM! The espresso martinis are very good too! Sunday football, the bar gets busy at times, get there early and grab some wings! The sandwiches are also something to consider! I like the hot turkey open faced with gravy and fries... Everyone working is very pleasant !
Had some recent bad experiences here. They just can't seem to get it right. Dinner was not good, but went for brunch and it was excellent. I would rate higher if the customer service were better. Attention to detail is not their forte. I don't think I would return because of all the oversights.
Who let the dogs out?! Half/half crab soup is less than ok. Thin& not many vegges or crab pieces. Dogs (not service) outside sitting on furniture with guest/employee off the clock. Employees petting dogs and not washing hands before touching glasses and plates of those dining. Yuck.

Service is poor except for Mary who I just learned is no longer there. Be forewarned that the service is beyond slow and gets worse each time we have been. Most of the servers there now seem young and inexperienced. I would not recommend this restaurant.
My sisters and I came for lunch and were very pleased. Your lunch menu offered many creative dishes. We all tried something different - the calamari were fried to perfection and tasty, the pear salad and wedge salad very crisp and flavorful. The fried green tomato sandwich was a burst of many flavors. Mary, our server, was a delight. Thank you so much for participating in Restaurant Week.
There was a time, years ago, when this restaurant was thought of as one of the County's best, and it appeared on "Best of" lists for the entire metro area. It certainly has fallen far from that perch. My last three visits left a lot to be desired. The service and food are sub-par, and the dining rooms are in serious need of a facelift. What's happened to this place?

My boyfriend lives in Towson and whenever we decide to go to Panera we have two options, the Panera off Putty Hill and this one. We choose to come to this Panera solely based on one employee's awesome attitude and work ethic, Bennett. Every time we come to Panera Bennett is working. We have seen him cleaning tables and windows, taking orders at the register, and actually preparing the food. He always seems to be going above and beyond regardless of what he is doing and is always extremely polite. Bennett is an awesome employee and should be recognized and appreciated for the great job he does.
This weekend took me back to nostalgic memories of holidays at chez Dragon Blanc. Church and breakfast were two major cornerstones of being their houseguest. I would always deplete the Asiago cheese bagels first, but I was also open to splitting a cinnamon raisin or sesame. Hazelnut spread was milder than the sweet honey walnut and raspberry ones, but still more palatable than the sun-dried tomato. These reduced fat shmears were whipped into an unusual frothiness that made it easy to distribute evenly, but the bagels went just as well with regular cream cheese.
If you want good, basic soup and sandwiches, tasty breads and bakery desserts, high-end (for Non-New York) bagels, decent coffee, this is your place!! Ingredients are high quality and fresh; bread is always fresh, crusty, a bit yeasty-- very tasty! If you're worried about your health, you get what you order- if you order a grilled panini filled with meats and cheeses, you're going to get a thousand calories; if you get their turkey on whole wheat, you get something healthier! Order the apple instead of the chips, too. But the chips are GOOD- and not as bad as others, if the label is correct on the little bag. Ambience is fine- a step or two above fast food, but clearly meant for you to get in, eat a meal, and get out. Not a lingering type place at all. Love their baked goods, too-- danishes, cinnamon rolls--- very, very yummy!! This is my local branch; I've visited other spots in Towson, Parkville, Golden Ring- all good, all pretty much the same.

I ONLY drive in for the slushies because I'm addicted. Otherwise I would never return. My order was delivered wrong - I ordered tater tots and got semi-warm fries, I ordered a strawberry watermelon CREAM slush and received a regular slush at half price. Of course I didn't notice this until I was 3 mins away from the location as I hit rush hour traffic. All in all, the service, turnaround time and customer service representatives could use a major upgrade or second look. While I love the slushies from Sonic, this location will not last long if the service doesn't change within six months to a year.
Very disappointed! Check order before leaving.. I ordered a medium mozzarella stick and they gave my a small tater tot not to mention that my food was freezing... If there was 0 stars I would select
In one word"dissatisfied"...Burgers were cold and fries are horrible. Service was great. I won't go back here.

On a recent visit, the food was alright, the server more than a bit rushed, but we enjoyed our meal...that is, until we saw one of the chefs handling a pasta order with his bare hands. No more visits there for us.
I have been to a few different Macaroni Grill locations before and was never really thrilled by them. Then. I decided to go to this location last week and was quite pleased. It was a Saturday night, but we were seated right away. The waiter was friendly, although a little slow at times. I really enjoyed the decor of the restaurant. There was a lot of stonework and it looked really nice. In terms of food, the bread was amazing! It had kind of like a salty flavor to it, but it was really good! I stayed pretty traditional with my entree and had chicken fettuccine alfredo. No complaints here. The sauce was great and it wasn't overly creamy like some other restaurants, it was just right. And the portions weren't too enormous. I hate going out and having so much food that you feel sick afterwards. That makes you not like the restaurant. But Macaroni Grill had just the right size portions that I didn't feel gross after eating. I will definitely be back again.
As far as chain restaurants go, this is the best one I've been to in a while. If you've seen the 2008 documentary Food, Inc, you know a lot of lab work and testing goes into making this food taste the way it does. Well let me tell you, science tastes fantastic. Service was a little slow at the bar, but our waitress was prompt without being pushy and brought new bread without being asked. And didn't look annoyed when we took a while to decide on our entrees. The decor helps greatly with the experience. It's the same as any other macaroni grill but is far less bland and depressing than olive garden. I still prefer the unique experience of locally owned restaurants, but if I have to go to a chain, this is the one I want to go to.
