We stopped in here while exploring the island. Its a cute little cafe that sells homemade jams, jellies, and flavored salts. It is a small cafe with a few tables and a counter on one side but the other side has more tables and antiques for sale. The woman who greeted us was awesome. She was friendly, gave us any info we needed to know about the food and drinks, and spoke with us while doing just about everything but cooking. We ordered a few coffees which were decent. I then spied a pan of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies Cooling and asked if we could share one. It was still a little warm, soft, and obviously homemade. It was so good we ordered a second. Turns out they are only 50 cents each! I would definitely like to come back and try a full breakfast sometime.

My fiancé and I came to Two If By Sea on a recommendation. We stopped by on a Sunday morning and it wasn't super crowded but it was obviously a popular place because people were steadily coming in and out. We had our dog with us so we sat on the front porch, which meant we had to go in and order but that was no biggie. I ordered the corned beef hash with breakfast potatoes and an English muffin. My date had the "crabby" Benedict. Both entrees were delicious. My hash was perfectly crispy on both sides, and salty but not overwhelming. The potatoes were fantastic with lots of herbs. I'd recommend this to others visiting the area. It's a little out of the way from St Michaels but worth the drive for delicious breakfast! Plus the service is fast and the prices were more than reasonable. I think for both of us it was under $20.

We loved this place for breakfast because of the quaintness factor. It has a "yesterday" feel with its collection of cookie jars & old-fashioned ceiling fans. I loved my omelet with crab & asparagus. My husband was pleased with his eggs & toast, as was our friend with her omelet & home fries. Our one criticism is that the iced tea wasn't made fresh but came from one of those dreadful machines. Yuk!

Don't even think twice: go directly to Two if By Sea. Unbelievable breakfast of Crabbie Ben....crab benedict with crisp English muffins, freshly picked crab and a killer hollandaise. Side of sliced tomatoes and you're in shape for a day on the Eastern Shore. Kelly is keeping the joe flowing with a smile and overall stellar service. I write with the pause that comes with showcasing a local gem to the world, but the crab's out of the pot.

The breakfast is sensational. I had the crab Benedict and my wife had the asparagus and crab omelette. Both were superb. Our server was great, a long time resident of Tilghman island, happy to regale us on local history and items of interest. We even picked up some jam which they make right there, it's great too! Can not go wrong, definitely worth the drive from St Michaels.

I happened upon this Jewel of the Sea in Tilghman Island. The Cafe is tastefully decorated and the Wait staff were friendly, attentive and personal. I ordered the Crab, Cheese and Asparagus Omelet. Rarely in my life have I ever had a more perfect Omelet. Only one word could describe it, that would be Sublime. The combination of fluffy eggs, aldente Asparagus, Local Asparagus and Cheese was to die for. The Redskin Potato Home-fries were an excellent accompaniment. Well worth the Detour from St. Michaels.

We visited for brunch and were floored at how good this place is. The signature Crabby Benedict features a healthy serving of crab under the poached eggs. This dish is generous and special without being too rich (for eggs Benedict, which is all too common). The home fries and sides of sauteed spinach were similarly simple and fresh, but with an herb seasoning that made them stand out. Whomever is cooking back there has a really light, expert touch. We ran into friends who live in the area (we do not), which shows that locals visit this place with regularity. This is a sign of quality in an area with a lot of tourist traffic. We'll definitely be back.

Two If By Sea was our last stop before heading home from a weekend in St. Michael's, and I'm glad we took the detour. We arrived a bit later than the typical breakfast crowd and were immediately able to get a seat outside with our dog. We had to go inside to get menus and place our order (and get/pay the check), but no worries. I had the "Crabbie Eggs" (Poached Eggs, Crabmeat, and Cheese on English Muffin), which was delicious. The prices were even better; my meal cost $8.50 and probably would've been twice that in D.C.

first thing that was said to us was it will take 45 mins for you to get food. Our waitress looked ill, sweating all over. The service was extremely poor. And our order was incorrect. The food seemed rushed and was not very good.

My parents live on Tilghman Island, and we have been to TIBS for brunch on a few occasions. I love the retro, antique store vibe and friendly service. The food is pretty good, I've had an excellent omelet with crab and asparagus. My last experience was more middling; I had a "crabby Benedict" which was tasty, but quite greasy/mayo-heavy. There are very few restaurants in the area, and TIBS is a welcome meeting spot to grab a bite, and maybe a souvenir.

Chef Henry and the Two If by Sea crew did an outstanding job catering our wedding and rehearsal party at Black Walnut Point Inn. During our first meeting with Henry, we told him we wanted to do something unique for our 200 person wedding dinner - junk food! We wanted cheesesteaks, tacos and pizza. He quickly agreed and started figuring out how to make it happen - even buying a portable pizza oven. Our guests at the wedding loved the food because not only did it represent us and our unique style, it tasted good too! Henry's staff also rocked it out. During dinner, it started pouring rain and the staff powered through. They were getting completely drenched, but the food kept rolling out and it was piping hot. Our only negative experience was that Henry can be difficult to reach at times, but honestly, that was our experience with everyone on the Island (it must just be Island living!). However, it didn't impact our wedding or the food at all. We would not hesitate at all in recommending Henry and his team. They are magnificent.

We took TIBS's monthly cooking class one Sunday evening and truly enjoyed our experience. Taught by Chef Henry, the session ran two hours, well-paired wine flowed freely, and the food was fantastic. Take special note of the desserts, perhaps the highlight of the wonderful meal.

Always a great experience every time we come here. We make it a point to eat here every time we visit MD. The breakfast is always fantastic and staff is friendly.. We love the home fries!

It's a really cute place but everything we had came from a freezer bag- stuffed jalepeno and rock fish and chips ($20, neither were cooked through and were freezer burned. We are not picky people but this was horrible.

I was here last weekend twice for breakfast. Funky back to the past style decor. Looked dated back to the 60/70's. Excellent breakfast. Nice people. I liked the java and the vibe. Hash browns from scratch, perfect omelete. Good price/value for breakfast. I checked out the dinner menu and found some interesting entrees that I will try next time. Might get to four stars. Located on Tilghman Island, Eastern Shore of Maryland, approximately 1:20 minutes from Annapolis.

Best breakfast ever! The seasoning on the potatoes is amazing! I'm so glad they sell it! :) We stayed for 9 days on Tilghman Island this summer and went to this place on our 5th day. After eating there and soaking up the history of the place and building, I was so upset that we hadn't gone the first 4 days! We (husband and 3 young children) went back every morning after that! The staff was very pleasant and friendly. We ate there when there was only 1 or 2 other tables AND when it was packed and the great service didn't change when it got busy. I would seriously think about driving from my home, 2 hours away, just for a late morning breakfast. I can't wait to go back! (I had the breakfast burrito (with salsa and hot sauce on the side - YUMMY!), the seasoned red potatoes and the kids had the mini - ch chip pancakes. My husband tried something different each day.... everyone was happy!)

Chose this place based on the Yelp reviews. There is a very limited number of places to eat on the island and we just wanted a small bite. This looked fairly safe. Service seemed like it would be good because we walked in as waitress was walking out and I opened the door for her so she could deliver plates to a party outside. We looked inside and at the menu and decided to sit outside. Waited. Waited. No one came to take our order. Went back in and ordered with the first person there. Waitress must have been busy. No worries. He apologized. Food ordered and waters came out. Food came out few minutes later. Asked for tartar sauce, and ketchup (fish and chips so wouldn't you bring that anyway?) Didn't ask for vinegar. He apologized for the lack of service. We shared the plate between the two of us. Waiter and waitress didn't come to check on us or the other table outside. Did poke her head out to give a treat to a visiting dog in a car and ran back in. Rockfish was good. Fries were good. Coleslaw was good. Tartar sauce was good. Decided to get my check so I went back in and settled up. Noticed a split fee of $3 on my check. That's 28 percent of the cost of my fish and chips! Not sure if they levied sales tax on that as well. Suspect that has other ramifications for them. Be aware of this revenue generation tactic. To be fair this is listed on their menu at the bottom in 6 point font so I was warned- if I had read the entire menu then it would have been cool. I didn't and you probably won't either. So if you are going to split an entree evaluate the consequences as they want you to eat more, waste more, and get fat or pay up. It is not clear if you share your meal with a child if you would be charged this fee. Summary: Would not go again.

Amazing little place to eat on an amazing little island. Both times we ate there, the food was amazing and priced reasonably. Great staff and welcoming atmosphere.

We went for breakfast based on the reviews on Yelp and Urban Spoon. The food was good, my wife had a great omelette and I went with eggs, bacon & French toast. That being said, when we first sat down, we noticed some sandwiches being prepped for a catering event; we ordered and then observed the one waitress making a few more sandwiches while it wasn't that busy....not wearing any gloves while cutting open the rolls. It then started to get very busy, fortunately we had already gotten our food, but continued to observe a fly sit upon the uncovered tray of sandwiches, ham and chicken salad. Nice. Pretty glad it wasn't my party they were catering. Also, the stuff should have at LEAST been covered (the covers were right beside the trays of food) and also refrigerated as they were very busy when we left and I m sure sat for a few hours. Yikes.

We ordered our food as carryout, so I don't know how this place is for a sit-down meal, but our sandwiches were pretty good, and they were prompt, friendly, and accommodating! We stopped by in the afternoon to place an order for later, and then picked everything up on our way to Captain Wade's boat tour. Fries (really potato wedges) were especially great! Overall, they were perfect for what we were looking for in terms of service, taste, and price.

Four of us had dinner on August 30th. The service was friendly and efficient. Three of us had the rockfish with butter crab sauce. It was very good. The roasted potatoes were very tasty and the broccoli was not overlooked. The stacked meatloaf dish was a hit with the meat lover in the group. We would definitely go back again. However, they do not have a liquor license and the night we were there they did not allow you to bring your own as had been ok in the past.

We just bought a weekend cottage on Tilghman Island. We've eaten breakfast here twice. The eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly. The home fries are fantastic. Staff is very friendly, and service is great.

There's not much on Tilghman Island and this place is both cute and conveniently located just 100-200 yards away from Dogwood Harbor, making it the perfect breakfast stop before getting onto my skipjack 2 hour cruise. Service was prompt and friendly. The waitress after taking my order actually ran outback to get the cook back to cook my breakfast sandwich. And while the sandwich was nothing out of this world, it was exactly what I was looking for and when I brought it onboard the boat, others salivated over it.
