Blue Dog Cafe

What a fantastically unique spot. The blue dog has wonderful food, great broadway tunes style entertainment, and awesome Sangria. Only open on weekend nights and there is only one small dining room-don't forget to get a reservation! Great prices for an upscale menu.
Snow Hill is a wonderful, small town community on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. It is charming, relaxed, warm, welcoming, and plays host to a number of great restaurants. Among them, the Blue Dog Cafe stands out. We were on vacation, camping nearby and wanted to enjoy dinner one evening in town and, preferably, outside. The BDC fit the bill to a T. With their ample outdoor patio/deck, we felt like we were relaxing at home in our own back yard. There is a little outdoor bar and enough seating for a crowd of people, but being later in the evening, there were only 3 other tables of diners. Colin, our waiter, was fantastic and answered all our questions--not just about the menu, but about Snow Hill. He made several menu recommendations, among which was the crab dip (his grandfather's recipe), and the blackened tuna sandwich. Both were excellent--although I would venture to say that the family recipe crab dip was outstanding. The other items on the menu were equally tempting and it was a bit difficult to restrain ourselves from ordering more than our tummies could hold. Inside, the restaurant is home to a singing waiter who, accompanied by live piano, offers up a medley of show tunes. Fun! Next time you are on the Shore, make sure you come to Snow Hill. It's worth the detour from well known towns like Berlin. And be sure to stop by the Blue Dog Cafe for lunch, dinner, or drinks on the patio!
Terrific restaurant! We went there on a whim based on Yelp! reviews and we were very impressed. Cozy place, friendly staff, great service, EXCELLENT food. Rock fish w/crab stuffing was great. Crab cakes were great. Flat bread pizza was nummy. Chinese salad was the best I've had. All-around great for a family of four.

About a 3.5: The Emporium is a small quaint restaurant that offers decent-tasting breakfast and lunch options in the town of Snow Hill. They have items such as muffins, omelets, pancakes, scrapple, apple crisp, wraps, paninis, soup, as well as a variety of hand-dipped ice cream. Their meals are pretty affordable and a bargain, and the portions are pretty okay. The locals seem to like this place for their ice cream treats.

This has to be the worlds smallest McDonalds and they did a great job here today. I popped in and the lady behind the counter asked me how old I was instead of saying "Hello how are you". That had all of us laughing. Ordered the meal and they had the food in the bag in less than a minute. Yes, less than a minute. Kudo's all around.

You know those little tiny diners and restaurants you see while you're away from urban centers? And you know how you think "Weeeeeeelll, I'm a boring person and I really can't deal with anything unexpected and I'm not sure about the aaaaambiaaaaance so I'm going to take my boring butt on until I see a National or International Fast Food Distribution Center, where the food has the slightly disturbing taste that I'd expect if what I was B Food Type Product"? If that's you, you are a stupid head and you would drive by Down Under and you would miss out. On two different occasions my husband and I had the Italian sub, the fish sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger. Yum. Me. On both visits I wasn't even that hungry and then SNORK! Food all gone. And their crinkle cut fries - Perfect example of the species. If you're over that way - for example camping at Pocomoke and tired of cooking for yourself - you really ought to check it out.

Awful delivery experience. Called to place an order, and the lady on the phone hung up on us before we could give her credit card information or a phone number to reach us just in case. Fast forward an hour, get a phone call from a woman saying she drove around but couldn't find our address so she went back to the restaurant. Another 30 minutes later, get another phone call and the food finally arrived. My friend and I ordered two entrees which should have come with two containers of rice. I ordered the dumplings which had like a 10:1 ratio of dough to meat. Also ordered the "Hawaii Five-O" which was supposed to come with scallops, lobster meat, chicken, pork, etc. It came with zero lobster meat and 1 thinly sliced scallop. Also waaay too much sauce (supposed to be some special sauce, but it tasted like the kind in beef and broccoli), it was basically a soup. I'm in Snow Hill for business and there are not a lot of food choices, so as bad as this was, I unfortunately can't promise myself that I won't order here again.
