Oh my GAWDDDDD..... Thats all i have to say, i have been coming here since i was a very little child with my grandmother. The food here is authentic, high quality, home made and delicious. There is not an italian cold cut around that can top the Pastore! If you dont like this italian cold cut, you have no idea what italian is then, and you should probably just stick with going to Olive garden for your italian desires. Every thing i have ever ordered has shocked my taste buds, Even the take home entrees that you heat your self, such as the lasagna, stuffed shells, baked ziti, it is all phenomenal. If you ever find yourself in the area it is worth stopping in and if you are not in the area, get in your car and drive here to try their food, you will not be disappointed!

Small little Italian deli. They have a counter and small dining area. They have great lunch specials. Sandwiches at $3.99.

This place is an interesting little anomaly. Without a doubt, they make the best cold cuts in the area. Their food is always consistently delicious. Unfortunately, they unabashedly hate their customers. I've visited quite often and I can say that each time I felt like I was not welcome. No matter what I ask for, I was made to feel like It was the greatest burden of the day. No one is openly rude, it's just in the way they talk to you and the way they carry themselves. Add to that the fact that they are rarely open. They have very bizarre hours which seem to change all the time. I'm not really sure how they stay in business. So if you are in the Rosedale area at an unusual time of day and you want a good cold cut and you can tolerate rude service, stop on by.

I used to work about a mile from Pastore's (about 12 years ago), and I would get lunch from here at least once a week. I may have had a slight addiction to their Italian salad and Cold Cut Sub on half a loaf of Italian bread. I was in the area for a breakfast meeting and decided to pick up lunch to carry out to see if they were as good as I remembered. I couldn't resist that Italian salad with all the grated cheese and spicy olives, and it was JUST as good as I remembered! They do have a large sit-down area, and they are also a full-service deli and small Italian market.

I got a Pastore which was pretty good. Above average quality certainly. Almost as good as Philly. It was a little light on the meats and the bread was OK, but not amazing. The bread is really half of what makes an Italian amazing. Not as good as Philly, but OK for Baltimore.

Best sandwich I've had in my entire life. The "Joe Bags" is amazing. I also had a cookie and their chips -excellent value.

Great subs and good Italian dinners to take home for later. We always get the Pastore and Giacomelli. They are always awesome! Just wish they were open late enough to grab dinner. They limit themselves to lunch meals only.

I like places such as Pastore's because its not cookie cutter chain style from the land of suburbia. This place claims to be an Italian grocer, deli, and bakery. When I stepped in, I was a bit disappointed there wasn't more shelves stocked with inventory. With that said, they have a nice sandwich counter that makes all kinds of sandwiches and salads with a catering division. The store is clean and modern. If you are passing by and need some tomatoes and salami, swing by here to resupply.

The counter people have developed the art of ignoring customers to a science. Also, if you ever want to see people in slow motion, check this place out. When they are making subs, etc., it is like they are in the Matrix. If you can tolerate the horrible service, the food is excellent.

Terrible food. Dont go for the meatloaf or sausage and peppers it is always pink inside. Sausage is boiled same with peppers and onions (gross) Meatloaf is dry even though soaked in their gravy. Their string beans tast like from a can salty and gross. I have had fellow employees of have been sick from their shrimp salad sandwich. Watch out.
