We decided to go with Cava Catering after being quoted outrageous prices from catering places. I'm a huge fan of Cava restaurants, and love their catering service even more now. We had a formal dinner for 16 guests at our private home, and Scott from Cava was so helpful - and spot on! - in helping select a menu that catered to a variety of tastes. He even held me back and convinced me to not go overboard :) when I called him the day before to order more food for the party. Scott was extremely helpful, and Cava Catering also provides servers for $40/hour. To be honest, probably some of the best $$ spent for the party. Our server, Andy, was extremely professional and set-up the entire food service for 16 guests and cleaned up afterwards. He took attentive care of each of our guests and helped to explain the food, and even after when the night was winding down, I checked in, only to realize he had washed all of our dishes AND placed the leftover food in to-go containers. I can't express how happy I am that we went with Cava Catering. Their food was superb and they have a great selection through their catering menu. The lamb Kapama was a huge hit, as were the spanakopitas and cheese pies. And on top of delicious, well-plated food, the service from when I initially ordered (with Scott) to the actual dinner service (with Andy) was superb. If we host another formal dinner party, I won't hesitate to hire Cava Catering again and if you do so, be sure to request Andy!

I bought a small container of Cava tabbouleh at my local Whole Foods in Glen Mills, PA and it is delicious. Can't wait to try other products and visit the restaurant in DC that started it all.

Like KP J. I am a huge fan of Cava restaurants so I was delighted to see that had a catering menu to use for a work luncheon. The menu was extensive, had everything I love from Cava and was very budget friendly. The best part? The quality of the food was as high as the quality of food from the Cava restaurants(!), which isn't something you come across often with restaurant catering. Our final invoice was hundreds of dollars less than quotes I received from other companies. Scott, the catering manager, and his team were extremely professional. Quick to respond to emails and phone calls and easy to work with. We ordered the skewered meal from the express menu which was $10.95 per person and came with rice and two options of a side. It was plenty of food! Everyone loved the food and kept asking where we ordered from. I can't recommend Cava Catering enough and will without a doubt use Cava Catering for future events. My mouth is watering just thinking about it....

I am a big fan of Cava restaurants so decided to use them for a work event. They were professional and very responsive to my needs even though my order wasn't large. They called me to confirm my order immediately, even though it was after 5 p.m. Then I quickly received an email with a full pricing invoice. I ordered sous vie short ribs, chicken pita sandwiches and the orzo. Service was on time despite delivery from Rockville to Virginia during rush hour. The guests were all impressed with the food and kept asking who catered.

In reading my Yelp reviews, it's not hard to figure out that I'm a GINORMOUS fan of Cava and everything restaurateurs Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Dimitri Moshovitis do, but Cava Catering, managed by Scott Crivella, has repeatedly blown every experience I have had at the restaurants out of the water. And that's a hard feat to accomplish. Honestly, if I could give a sixth star here for Scott's responsiveness, flexibility, and willingness to handle any and all situations, no matter how last minute they are, I would. Not only is the food always excellent, it is always on time, which is hugely important whether I'm requesting catering for a small group of friends or a large party. Their prices are also exceptionally reasonable considering the food you are getting. I have paid more elsewhere and have been left with nothing more than a bad taste in my mouth. I can safely say that my experience with Cava Catering though has left nothing but the sweet taste of baklava in my mouth! In fact, I'm about to dig into my leftovers right now... for the fourth time this evening!
