I wanted to find a b & b near my fiance's grandmother's who lives in rock hall. Mission accomplished. Treated him to a night here and dinner at the restaurant (see separate review for food critique). The inn was built in 1993 though the original farmhouse is available and is much older. Turns out my fiance's family once owned the property. Terry the innkeeper was so warm and welcoming. She called ahead of time to make sure we were still staying over since the weather was icy and dangerous to drive in. We arrived late afternoon on Sunday March 1 and departed the next day. We stayed in the room called 'escapade' which boasts a jacuzzi tub, king sized posted bed, sitting room, and two separate entrances (one closer to the steps near the restaurant and the other closer to the office). The room was clean and overlooks the water/marina. The amenities of a hotel room were all there including plush robes and a mini fridge. There is a small tv in a wooden armoire as well. Everyone was so pleasant and we had a delicious meal at the restaurant. The next morning we enjoyed Terry's quiche Lorraine and other homemade treats for breakfast. For the healthier crowd there are hard boiled eggs, granola, wheat breads and fruit. We will be back this summer and look forward to our stay and enjoying the pool, kayaking and other warm weather activities. They honored a discount we received in their newsletter for our first stay and returning guests get 10 % off their stay.
Incredible food, great ambiance, impeccable service. This is also a B&B. Very helpful marina if coming by boat

Came here for our 25th anniversary. Jim and Joanne are friendly and open, the lodgings very good and quiet, and the food very good. The accommodations IMO are worth the price, and you will feel very welcomed here. We recommend getting a massage while here (see hosts for information). We would come back again in a heartbeat!
My husband and I booked a room online for this establishment, it clearly stated on the other rooms that it was a two night minimum. There were two cottages that did not have this minimum listed online. I booked one of them, received an email confirmation, and assumed that we were booked. I received a message from the Inn stating that wasn't the case, as they had a two night minimum. When my husband called the Inn, he was informed that even though we had a confirmation, and they admitted the error was on their end, as their website was incorrect, they refused to honor our reservation, and when we explained the situation that we were in town for a wedding, and could not get a room elsewhere, were not helpful, but in fact were incredibly rude to my husband. They have refused to honor our reservation, even with the confirmation from them, and the acknowledgement that the error was on their end. Due to this, we are in Rock Hall for a wedding, but forced to stay in Annapolis, as all other hotels in the area are booked by this time. We were aghast at their lack of professionalism or courtesy. After reading the reviews on this site, I was looking forward to the stay, and am incredibly disappointed in the outcome.
My wife and I stayed at The Inn at Huntingfield creek this past weekend. Joanne and Jim, the inn keepers were really nice and the staff was super friendly. We were given one of the cottages behind the main house which was very well appointed. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. We could not ask for a better weekend away. Breakfast is served every morning at 830 in the main house and in the late afternoon, beverages are served in the Library. The Inn is a great place to get away from the day-to-day grind and just unwind.

I stopped in for dinner at Bay Wolf while vacationing in the area. The owners were friendly, and the place had a warm atmosphere. This roadside restaurant/tavern was the best dining experience I had during my trip. You don't expect to see Austrian dishes on a restaurant menu on the Eastern Shore, so for my main course I tried the Schweinbraten and Kneudle (not knowing what this would be!). It turned out to be several thick slices of pork tenderloin with gravy, and a large dumpling - a hearty and delicious dish, balanced by some fresh and excellently cooked snap peas on the side. My first course was a lobster bisque - it was hot, rich, and flavorful. A delicious and satisfying meal at a good price.
Friendly service and they are open year round. My fiancee's family is from Rock Hall so we took his MeMom to lunch here a few weeks ago. She regularly comes here for lunch with her friends. Food was decent-crab cake sandwich, grilled chicken, and cheeseburger. They have a variety of German as well as American dishes. There is a bar as well as dining room seating. We will likely be back next time we are in town for a quick bite.
Delicious crab cakes and very friendly service. The interior decor is charmingly odd - as the name suggests, it's part beach-themed, part Austrian wolf-themed. If that sounds weird it's because it is. It's a fun atmosphere and I would definitely come here again.

Fun for drinks & a great view. Love the low key vibe.
Overall this is the best place in Rock Hall. The kitchen is consistently good, the service is good, the waterfront is always interesting and scenic, and the owner Donna is almost always there and in control. If you go to Rock Hall, this is the place to go.
Nicest staff ever. We got in early and they welcomed us right in. Everyone is happy and kind and even on a cloudy day its a fun time here on the deck.

This cute inn definitely has potential for 5 stars but could use some slight repairs and updating (our toilet handle stopped working one night and one of the blinds was broken). Great owner and workers at the inn! I really enjoyed the room. It was comfortable and had a great view of the water. There were plenty of outdoor chairs to enjoy the great weather (including gliders and swings). They have fishing poles to borrow to fish off their private pier, bikes to rent, and a croquet set. Their breakfasts were very good in the mornings! I had an omelette one day and a belgian waffle on another day and they had this delicious honey butter! Hope to come back one day!
Beautiful location but inn was shabby and outdated. Not worth the money. No cell service anywhere owners friendly but offered little help. Property was not well kept. If it were cheaper I would get the condition but the price warrants much more updating
