Collin's is proud of what they do, and they should be, it's great food. We have visited 4 or 5 times and they are consistent. I love everything I've eaten there from simple things to the big specials. My wife has some preferences for how things are cooked and would prefer steamed seafood. Most of the time, the kitchen can accommodate this sort of request. But if the chef can't stop the butter, can't they have the server let the diner know? Every time this has happened, our server did a great job. I'd just prefer to enjoy a meal with friends and family where we all get our meals at the same time. We will be back.

Visited Colins on a Saturday just before 5pm with a group of 6. It was pretty slow at the time and we were immediately seated. Though we did get lucky, as a large group came in just after we placed our food order. The food came a bit slow, but not slow enough to ruin the experience. Service Some of the best service I've had in the area at any restaurant. The waitress made sure we were all satisfied and kept up with refills and requests. Food Went with the Calamari as an appetizer. Boosh! Not overly fried or breaded. The sauce wasn't spectacular , but it was nearly gone when we were done, so I think everyone liked it. The Shrimp and Ribs entree was also a good choice. More shrimp would have been nice, but the meal was filling. The ribs were super tender and to say the collard greens were amazing would be an understatement. I could eat a plate of that alone if it were socially acceptable. Overal A great dining experience and I will be back to try more of the menu and something from the bar.

Quick update: I finally sat in the dining room to have a meal and didn't order pasta. The seafood platter where everything was fries including the scallops was a disappointment and the crab dip while tasty had the consistency of soup. Next time I will try a mixed drink because the "sangria" which tasted nothing like wine (I know my wine!) Came in what I will call a wine starter glass hardly a full pour. Not to mention over priced. And ghe audacity of this place having an $80 bottle of wine listed while tou serve your condiments in plastic ramikans is a joke. I had to take away a star for the service. This dining room isnt large at all so I was confused when after asking for refills it took our waitress 15 minutes to reappear empty handed then as I gasped for water again she seemed surprised like it was my first request. There was much follow and now that I have been on a where's waldo search for her to get my check Original review: this place is in such a random place on liberty road I would have never seen it if I wasn't going to the dollar store. But i hope it stays and I hope it doesn't get run into the ground the decor didnt blow my socks off the good food made up for itm the seafood alfredo os excellent and the blackened tilapia was perfectly cooked. This place was such a surprise

This is a great neighborhood spot to come to during the week. I didn't feel like cooking so stopped in to get a crab cake platter. The place is a little on the small side. The decor is nice and modern with very little separation from the bar and restaurant areas. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and seated me without a problem. Maybe it's because the weekday crowd is lighter. Prices are about what you would expect for a seafood restaurant. The food was well prepared and you can tell the quality of the ingredients. Some places try to load your crab cake up with filler, but at Collins they use lump aka backfin. No shells in it either. I had a side of mixed veggies and fries. Pretty standard and good. The staff goes out of the way to make the place what it is. The waitress checked on me frequently seems like when ever I needed a refill on my drink she was already there waiting. Brought me my check quickly but didn't rush me and told me to take my time and leave when I was ready. As I was walking out it seemed like everyone thanked me for coming in and said come back soon. Gives you a real personal feel like they care about your business and value you as a customer. I will be back.

Had such a great time here with my girlfriend on Tuesday for crab night. We laughed, caught up and ate some of the best crabs I've ever had. Great staff, clean, and great management. A dozen crabs cost us 32 dollars not bad at all. We also got a Caesar salad, wings, corn bread and the cheese cake for dessert. All very good. Our waitress was super attentive and sweet. Even though very busy she made us feel like we were her main priority. I will be coming back to Collins for a nice dinner with my girls or the boyfriend. I would say it's great for dinner and happy hour for sure.

This evening was my first time at Colin's after hearing so much about it. Im so glad to have finally dined here and I will be returning. We arrived at 6:00 on a Saturday and were seated right away considering the place being packed with teo parties. We we also welcomed by a waiter within minutes of being seated. I ordered the shrimp and ribs and my guest ordered steak and greens. Both us were full abd very satisfied with our meals. Staff is very pleasant, the food is delicious, and you were served quickly. The owner and executive chef even visited our table. I understand there's a great happy hour here as well. I will be sure to fibd out. #HappyDining

I came here with my honey for an impromptu date night. We were greeted by a nice gentleman at the door who promptly seated us in the empty restaurant, only two patrons at the bar. It's 9pm on a Tuesday night. I decided on a rib eye cooked medium with the loaded potato and asparagus. My honey ordered the buffalo wings fried crispy. The food didn't take long, I sipped on what tasted like grandmas sweet tea and he had a top shelf Long Island. Rolls were brought to the table basted in butter. They looked yummy but we're lacking quality and were barely warm. Shortly after our food arrived. Everything on my order was cooked to perfection but covered in butter. His wings tasted baked but we're tossed in a good sauce. The Long Island was lacking a punch as he said. He ordered two back to back. All in all the experience was good. My order was accurate. The staff was friendly. I will be back.

Nice place with good food/drinks. Once the area recovers, this place will do very well! You will not regret having it in your restaurant rotation.

Felt right at home the second we stepped in the door. Great selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Made it there for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Don't mussels on the happy hours menu. I know this is wrong but my friends and I opted for the pork chops which did not disappoint. Being from Hawaii and knowing what Tilapia is (it's really a garbage fish here) and since it was their specialty we chose to go with the waitress' favorite. Great sides mac n cheeseand broccoli. Not fancy just plain good. P.S. Cobbler needs more fruit.

My first time here. Nice clean environment. Very popular with local people. I talked to some patrons who love the place and enjoy the food. I ordered small bowl of clam chowder. My favorite sea food soup. The soup had the proper thickness and visible pieces of meat but was way too salty for my taste. I added oyster crackers helps a little. Dinner was fried chicken wings southern style. Boy was I ready. I got double collar greens too. I going down home now. Then reality set in wings were hot the taste was off not southern style as promised. small wings looking like party wings. The greens were ok. Two notches above can flavor. I hate to give a bad review on this place because it has potential. I will come here again maybe this was an off night

Perfect dining experience. The staff made you feel like family and not a customer. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The owner amd chef, Dante came out and made sure the meal was perfect. Will come back again, soon.

I love the food very flavorful. No service is perfect but I don't know any restaurant where the service is perfect, I go for the food and then leave. There mac n' cheese is tasty and there crab cakes are awesome. I go for that:)

Nice quaint resturant. Located off Liberty Rd. The young staff seems to know at least the basics about the restaurant businesses. While my family ordered items that took a while. A few tables that arrived after us, but received their food much sooner. We started with sliders made from all angus mest. They were good however there were only three. I didn't quite understand that since they're worth $7. I had the ribs and fried crab cake. The crab cake was all crab meat and very good. The ribs were falling off bones but needed more than barbeque sauce for seasoning. The macaroni was the best. The collard greens are very similar to the kind I have had from a can. The kids meals are mediocre, tons of shoe string fries over basic frozen prepackaged chicken fingers. My husband ordered the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake was a very generous size. Along with his sandwich was a plateful of shoe string fries. We ended the evening with a Huge gorgeous piece of N.Y. cheesecake. Dripping with large strawberries and whipped cream. Overall it was a nice environment, with two very very large flat screen T.V.'s and neo soul music playing throughout. I would like to this establishment grow and return when some of the kinks are worked out.

The food was extremely bland, especially the side items. If you have diabetes or hypertension then this is the place for you to enjoy soul food, because it lacks seasoning (salt) and sweetener.

  • Sean B.

I've been here at least 5 times and everything I have had was great. The wings are on the small side but I hope it's because they are organic. Service is also good and you may even get a Raven pic or autograph.

The fish is perfectly cooked and the staff is friendly. I've been to Colin's on several occasions and i always leave satisfied. The atmosphere is a bit upscale, but the feel is hometown. I would recommend trying dinner here at least once.

My wife and I had lunch at Colins Seafood and Grill in Randallstown in the shopping center on Offuit Rd. The staff could not have been more friendly, courteous and attentive and the facilities were squeaky clean. While the menu is slanted toward soul food, there is something for everyone. My wife with the shrimp salad and me with a pork chop sandwich. Impressive portions and good down home flavor. Rolls with a hint of garlic and other spices were a surprise treat. This place is a keeper and we will be returning.

I was told about this restaurant by a co worker. I was in this shopping center and saw it and remembered. I went in they were so friendly I have been here 6 times in 2 weeks the food is good. My only issue is they don't properly separate the greens with the pork shops which causes them to be soggy. I also ordered take out making it the 7th time and the green juice ran all in the Mac and cheese and soggyed up my chops. When take out is ordered they should put anything with juice separate from the food. That's my only issue. Great place wonderful employees just separate items. I will be back!

Stumbled upon this place last nite while here for the NFL Combine with my son, food was excellent and the young lady server was very attentive to our needs, the crab cake was second to none, I will definitely revisit when I'm in the area

The food was tasty but the service was lacking. Salmon and Tilapia was seasoned perfectly. We wasn't impressed with the collard greens but the Mac n Cheese was good.

I've only been here for lunch (twice) but both times I found good food, reasonable prices & excellent service. This visit, my shrimp salad was so wonderfully presented I took a pic and posted it on my FB page. Finally, a really nice place to eat in Randallstown.

First time here and I must say, about time Randallstown gets a real sit down restaurant. The food here is excellent. We had 5 guests and our food came out quickly. You must have the sweet potatoes and greens. We had fried wings, steamed shrimp, calamari, pork chops, barbecue wings, crab balls and steamed mussels. I recommend everyone please support this family business. I will be back.

Owner/chef Dante had done a wonderful job bringing his years of restaurant experience to create a unique dining experience in Randallstown. Colin's menu is expansive and the service is impeccable. Calamari and stuffed shrimp were well done and delicious. Looking forward to a return trip to try the other menu items.

This place came highly recommended to me by a friend who said an older couple said this was the place for seafood. I went for carryout and immediately noticed the nice ambiance thinking this place has great potential. I gradually became turned off only after having had paid for my order and waiting for my food. The hostess was friendly but it seemed like they were a little unorganized. They write your carryout order on a scratch of paper, they should really invest in a Macros system at the hostess stand if that's where carryout is taking place. There's not much seating for carryout people except a really pretty red cushiony sofa, which also doubles as a storage bin for the workers personal belongings. Ask me how I know...cause I was asked to get up so a worker could get her purse. Kinda tacky. The food finally comes out and the greens were extremely strong smelling. The carryout packaging was disappointing too, a paper thin "thank you" plastic bag which had holes in the bottom cause the container holding the food tore through it. Now we get back to the food. The collard greens tasted like pure vinegar. I got the stuffed flounder with crab imperial, and the crab imperial was a joke. Where was the imperial? The food was SO salty my lips were burning as I ate. Even the Mac and cheese was super salty. It was so disappointing because I was really hopeful. My biggest recommendations are to step up the carryout system and lay off the salt!!!! Unfortunately, I do not see myself returning. I would have been much happier with Southern Blues right up the street. And could have saved some money in the process.

Loved this Lil spot. My husband and I went there on a Sunday afternoon and couldn't get enough of that clam chowder and calamari. We're both looking forward to our next visit.

Is it Hake, does it rhyme with Snake? Do I really want it? YES! It was my second time at Colin's and I continue to be impressed. I ordered the hake, collards, and sweet potatoes and they were SO! great. I was part if a table if 12 and I didn't hear ANY complaints. I also ordered raw oysters which were served with sliced boiled eggs. It was very different as I'd never had raw oysters with sliced boiled eggs but it was a great way to try it. Their Grand Opening is November 19th. Be there if you can!

I have gone to this restaurant twice. The first time entering it was confusing because i walked to the greeter, who became confused when a larger group of guest came in behind me. I ordered the cat fish dinner from the bar, and waited at the tall tables. I thought the taste of the food was good, but left thinking that a $25.00 dinner was expensive for the area. On my second visit , I ordered to go , cat fish again, and upon getting home, it was one piece of fish and two small portion sides that neatly fit into the Styrofoam portion section. I was disappointed at the portions size, and reflected about the large smothered pork chops that a woman was eating at the bar. I will not go there again, although the food was tasty, I think I can find a place where they dont skimp on the portion size.

I was excited to come to a new spot in Randallstown. I walked in and it was fairly packed and clean. Few opened seats here and there but for the most part it was full. I asked the hostess if I could sit at one of the bar tables and she said yes. I sat down with no menu, and no silverware for a few minutes. ( Yes I was checking I walked in at 644 during the week) I said if no one comes over to me by 659, I was walking out. Someone finally came over at 657 and took the drink and appetizer order. it took the drinks( water and cosmo) another 10 minutes to come out and another 28 ( yes 28 minutes) for appetizer. With that being said, I didn't order a main course. The atmosphere is simply perfect.. However the crab dip and service I received weren't so up to par. Since this is a newly opened restaurant, Ill give it another try after the holidays. I pray its not another disappointment.

Ok soI went to the restaurant today, Mothers Day and expected a long wait, however we (party of 4) only waited 1/2 hr, HAPPY! Ok so we all ordered the seafood platter, I had zucchini , squash & carrots sautéed in butter & garlic and baked potato. My meal was broiled which is the way I wanted it, although the menu says baked, smh. Ok so it came with a Crabcake, 2 scallops, 2 shrimp & 1 piece of tilapia. Crabcake had a lot if filler not good. Scallops & shrimp were slightly overdone. My vegetables were perfect even though they forgot to bring them w/my meal. My sisters veggies were so overdone u didn't have to chew them. They looked horrible. My nephew had sweet potatoes and rice pilaf. The sweet potatoes were delicious! My mom had greens which were lacking something and I wasn't sure if they were from the can or not. She enjoyed the Mac & cheese. My sister also had green beans which were from a can. Some may like that, I don't. I don't eat any vegetables from a can. Outside of that the meal was ok. Our server was Brittany and she was great! Oh I also had as an appetizer the Jacoby Oysters, I think that's the name, they were heavenly! Overall a good experience and will be going back.

This place was a nice surprise. I saw this as a new place on Yelp right around the time my family was looking for a place take my mom for her birthday. The reviews were good and they had crab cakes which is really all my mom wants when she goes out so we decided to take a chance. It is located in a shopping center that doesn't have a lot to attract people so there was plenty of parking. The place isn't very big but we had a reservation for 8 and were seated right away. The wait staff was extrememly friendly and attentive. The best part was the food. I had the stuffed flounder with collards and mac n cheese. That was possibly the best mac n cheese I have ever had. All the food we had was really good. So much so that we asked if they did take out and placed an order for some sides for Christmas dinner. Hope this place can maintain this level of service and food once word gets out and more people know about it.
