Super friendly staff, fast service, tasty sandwiches. Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is that the bathroom wasn't super clean and the soap was out. But definitely worth a second trip!

I was so hopeful we had found a (new to us) neighborhood gem - yelp rated it 4.5 stars Service was friendly, facility was ok cleanliness wise. Food pricing was that of a quality deli. Food itself left a lot to be desired. Both my husband and I chose not eat our sandwiches because they were just not good. They looked good, but the taste was just not there. Unfortunately, we won't be giving it another try in the future.

This morning I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel instead of on white bread .. It was awesome! If you love bacon, they give you a generous portion on your sandwich! It was only $3.99 which is a great price. In previous experiences I have had the pastrami sandwich, which is piled high with delicious meat! I have also had the meatball hero, which is always a go-to for dinner when I don't feel like cooking. I also have had the Cobb salad with the avocado ranch and it is the best Cobb salad I've had in a while! Everyone always suggests the Cuban to me, but I am Cuban, so I only eat those made from home. There are a few seats inside, but I always get mine to go. They make you feel like family there, even if you've never met whoever is taking your order.

I've heard plenty of good things about this place so I decided to check it out. The staff was super friendly and it didn't take long at all to get our food. We sat outside and the staff member actually delivered our food to us, which was nice. I had the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and my boyfriend got the Reuben. My wrap was delicious and pretty big proportionally, my boyfriends Reuben was a little small but still really good. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have many sides, just chips. I love that they sell homemade croutons and bread! And they deliver! I would definitely go back and eat there again.

Tried this place because of the awesome reviews and it's super close to home. And I was not let down a single bit, I was in and out within 5 minutes and my Sante Fe wrap is amazing! Definitely recommend this for anyone craving a new sandwich place! (Really good selection too)

If it were possible, I would give Simple Sands Deli six stars. The sandwiches are so amazing. So wonderful. I can't think of adjectives good enough to describe these sandwiches. One time, after visiting Simple Sands Deli, I asked my wife if she would rather sleep with James Franco or eat a Brazilian Breakfast sandwich (with pork and gouda instead of turkey and swiss). She said the sandwich. I'm pretty sure God is munching on a Brazilian Pork sandwich up there. Chuck Norris can't even make sandwiches this good. If the president and the secretary of state brought Simple Sands Deli to negotiations with Iran, Iran would sign whatever Nuclear deal we would want. They must put crack in their sauces.

Was very disappointed, I ordered a "Italian Cold Cut" . It was served on Texas toast. . Very soggy, fell apart. Not GOOD AT ALL!

As I sat there eating my Brazilian turkey sandwich, I kept wondering why it was my first visit to Simple Sands. I'd driven by it numerous times and had always wanted to stop. Now I know - this place is fantastic and I am going to make it a regular stop!! The people working there were great. It was like walking into the deli version of an episode of Cheers. They greeted everyone who walked through the door, asked what I liked and made recommendations, and were genuinely interested that I enjoyed my food. You know a place is good when you are eating your meal and you are perusing the menu to see what you are going to order on your next stop and debating if you should keep ordering the same sandwich because it's so delicious. I'm on a personal crusade to patronize small, local businesses and this place is perfect.

Don't be dissuaded by the location. Worth a visit. Plus, they've got loaves of homemade bread, something I've never seen outside of the farmers market.

We stopped here for lunch because of all the good yelp reviews. The sandwiches were fantastic and by far the nicest staff!!! We ate there and noticed lots of regulars coming in. We will definitely be going back!

Best restaurant around Pasadena and the surrounding area. The owner John is great and always a smiling face, remembering his regulars in the mornings. The food is great and they always put a large portion of meat on the sandwiches. They take a lot of pride in their food. Highly encourage you to stop in!

The service and the food is Amazing!!! The sandwiches are awesome. I love this place and wish it was closer to my house. I have eaten here over a dozen times and every single time was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

This place has great sandwiches. They have the basics but their specialties are the ones to try. You will not leave hungry, that's for sure. The sandwiches are packed. The owners are very generous in the community as well which is an added bonus. Don't let the gas station location fool you. This is a must stop.

  • Gerbera D.

This place has amazing (and huge) sandwiches!! Since it's attached to a gas station (albeit a very clean and well-maintained one) I wouldn't have necessarily have stopped in but a friend recommended it. Highly recommend. Owner supports local schools.

Small deli/sandwich shop that shares a parking lot with a gas station that has the lowest prices for gas in the area. But that's another review! Hit this place up a few minutes before noon in order to miss the lunch rush. There were already six people in front of me and the young woman at the counter was taking a phone order. That's cool. I planned for this. Placed my order and started looking around. Showcase of Dietz & Watson deli meats priced per pound and some really interesting 'sides' like buffalo potato salad which were already packed into small and large containers to go. The required stand of individual size and larger size chips. Over in the corner, a stand holding bags of awesome looking breads and croutons, $2.50 each. They also offer some of their sandwich sauces in little canning jars to take home. Gonna have to remember that. Inside tables to seat 14, and outdoor dining for 10. Apparently they will serve breakfast items all day because a couple in front of me left with a breakfast sandwich and sausage gray on biscuits. And yes, I was a little jealous! From the time I placed my order until it was bagged for me was 20 minutes so it's not 'fast food'. And six more groups or individuals came in while I was waiting so this place must get the business. The Southwest Turkey Wrap I ordered was just as expected. Just sorry this place is just a little too far for me to travel to at lunch on a daily basis. But I WILL return. I want to try the Brazilian Roasted Pork Pannini!

I was turned off by the location of this deli (at a gas station) but I'm truly grateful that I gave this place a chance. They have GREAT food. I wasn't completely pleased with the chicken ceasar wrap but my boyfriend had go the turkey club and it was amazing. So every time we go back thats what we will be getting. Im eating one right now and it is so good that I'm compelled yelp them.

Nicest staff I've ever met and some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely go here!!!

Driving down Ritchie, hit Yelp, comment I read was don't let he gas station next door dissuade. Oh so right! We had a a Cuban and the Brazilian roasted pork and some chipotle macaroni salad. Awesome panini style. Thanks guys!

Delicious! Went there In the morning for a breakfast sandwich--sandwich was huge and cheap! And they make their soups every morning fresh. Don't let the location fool you--this place is amazing.

I've been robbed! ... Of three years I could have been ordering sandwiches from Simple Sand because I was dumb and never dropped by. Their sandwiches are legendary, and the sign says they do breakfast all day, though I haven't put it to the test yet. They have a decent assortment of meat, cheese, and condiments you can purchase a la carte if you prefer a DIY sandwich at home, but you're missing out if you don't try something off their menu at least once. Careful, though, because sandwiches run about $8 each, so your bill could also be legendary if you aren't. Luckily, one sandwich should do the trick, even though you'll crave another.

  • Eugene S.

Pleasantly surprised. This place looks unassuming from the road. It's a small restaurant attached to a gas station, though you wouldn't know it once you're inside. The staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions during ordering. I settled on the Brazilian pork sandwich, wife had the turkey club, kids split a grilled cheese. All were excellent, I'm not exaggerating. They let us sample their chili and I was impressed. It's not typical chili, no tomato sauce but more like soup. It was very savory. I would get it to accompany a sandwich but the sandwiches were big so there's a dilemma. We'll be back.

Saturday, June 15, 2013. I took my husband as a one of his pre-Father's Day brunch present! Among the good menu selection, I decided to have the Turkey Club on wheat bread, my husband had the Hero. The attendant explained to him what type of sandwich it is which is good for two, unless you are really really hungry. My husband decided to eat half and take half home - "for later", well, when we got the order, he was served only half of the sandwich as promised and the other half was well wrapped in a bag to go! Well done guys! The deli is small but still convenience, there is a small patio outside with three tables and shades, excellent for days to enjoy the good weather. The place is clean and well maintained and the bathroom is also clean. There is no alcohol served which is good. Breakfast is served all day long and prices are very reasonable. Parking lot in front of place and gas station too. This place will be out new and probably the only Sandwich/Deli place. People you won't regret it!

    (5)
  • Travis M.

Amazing sandwiches!! Enough said!! I haven't walked out of there without wanting more for later. Great small spot to eat!

  • Amy K.

Amazing. Cannot believe this place has been been right under my nose. The kid's meatball sandwich is perfect for picky eaters. My husband gets the HUGE hero sandwich. I'm still finding my choice meal, but the all day breakfast is obviously a go to. They also have packaged salads and desserts, and sell bacon mayo. By the jar. Bacon mayo by the jar.

Delicious food - fresh-made sandwiches while you wait. Diner-atmosphere and LOTS of meat on the sandwiches - loved it - thanks!

This is our go to place for a good fresh deli sub. It's at a gas station, so I never gave it a chance for the first year we lived here. Big mistake! The Brazilian Turkey is awesome. The Hero is HUGE (for 2+ people) and way awesome too! They use Boars Head out of their own little deli case. The sides they offer are very tasty. Try the Texas Potato Salad. One of favs in the area for sure!

I had a catered luncheon for 40 people the day after our daughter's wedding last Sunday. Ordered 4 different types of sandwiches and salads. The owner was right on target with suggestions for serving sizes to order~I probably would have ordered more, but he was right! ONLY downfall was no condiments were given. Not such a big deal, but I ordered sandwiches to come shortly before people's arrival, and that was a bit of a scramble. However, this would NOT stop me from ordering from here again. Driver was friendly and right at time requested. Hoping this business stays in our area a long, long time!

  • Sam R.

Like they say don't judge a book by it's cover. It's located at a gas station, but do not let that dissuade you from this awesome deli. The breakfast sandwiches are good and you get your bang for your buck. I'm definitely going back.

    (5)
  • Daniel B.

This place is great sandwich place, but be warned the sandwiches are massive, each is really like 2 large sandwiches, and if you disassemble em first its like getting a half pound of deli meat shipped on bread, you can make 2 extra sandwiches on your own bread from one of these. So ya 4 meals can be made with one... Good stuff all around.

    (4)
  • Dave W.

Stopped here for lunch after looking on yelp for something different. The reviews all warned not to be deterred by the fact that it's attached to a gas station. They weren't kidding. I got the Brazilian turkey, which may have been the best turkey sandwich ever. At $8 for just the sandwich, it's a bit pricey, but I will say that the size makes up for it. The ingredients are clearly high quality. Seemed like most, if not all are dietz and Watson. If you hate the Subway 2 slices of meat on a 6 inch sub model, this is your place. Will definitely be back!

Ordered breakfast sandwiches yesterday evening and tried the Brazillian Pork Roast today. Everything we have tried was delicious. Fresh meats and cheeses. Everything was done with care. This is my new favorite sandwich place! Love it!

I think I actually just had a spiritual experience. I walked into this little place and just asked for the best sandwich they had. I received an amazing sandwich called a Turkey Brazilian. Spicy, sweet, on some amazing cuban bread. Perfectly crisp and pressed. There had to be a half pound or more of turkey on this sassy sand. As I first bit into it, I actually thought I heard the voice of God whisper, "you're welcome." Really though, if you're in the severna park/ pasadena area and haven't been here yet, your life is sad and empty. The staff was SO nice and certainly know their way around a sammich. Also, true southern sweet tea and a barrel of deli pickles are 2 more reasons to get in your car and drive to this place, right now. Sandwiches are about 8 bucks, but worth every one of your hard earned dollars. I wish I could give this an extra star, and possibly the opposite of a lap band so I could house another one of these sandwich beasts.

  • Tomasa R.

The people here are very nice.. even in the gas station next door they are just the nicest ppl and they always seem happy when im here. I got the FAMOUS turkey brazilian I enjoyed the sandwich. Only thing I didn't like was the bread was a lil soggy from their sauce. It was only a small corner thought and it was so good I didn't deduct any stars. Their customer service is great!!! Reasonable prices. I will be back!!

    (5)
  • Courtney C.

Back again; this time for dinner. Carryout takes a while during the dinner rush. Order ahead! The southwest turkey salad is huge. It does not need dressing. The corn and beans are already in a sourcream based spread. I had big time food envy this time around. My husband ordered the turkey cuban. This is literally in the top 5 best sandwiches of all time. I could inhale these on a regular basis. Go! Get the turkey cuban! GO!

When I was in HS (Several millennia ago), there was a Family owned deli not far from the school that EVERYBODY went to for lunch. Teachers, Students, Maintenance, Admin (was actually the most common place to get caught skipping class. Sandwiches were THAT good.) Simple Sands took me back. ALL the way back. Truth is, even in NY, the neighborhood German / Italian / Jewish Deli is a dying breed being replaced by nationwide chains who's processed meats and cheeses come out of warehouses or 'Upscale Gourmet' Deli's that'll only take AMEX Onyx for a bag of their artisan, Chupanut oil fried, locavor, potato chips. Simple Sands is just that. Simple, unpretentious, good cheeses, quality meats, fresh greens, put together on Bakery breads, with homemade condiments and PLENTY OF EVERYTHING! I've had smaller sandwiches at the Carnegie Deli in Manhattan and paid twice as much. If you ever want to know what a, BONAFIDE, deli is like, wrap your hands around a LEGIT deli sandwich (You may need 3 hands. Maybe 4), and find out what REAL Deli food tastes like. Make the trip. These guys KNOW what their doing and I believe I know who's gonna be catering my next Superbowl Shindig.

  • Quiana B.

This is my lil spot haha! The sandwiches are ginormous but most of all the best in the area in my opinion. The sauces are unique and packed with flavor ( dat bacon mayo tho?) and the meat is fresh and piled high. The people are so nice and explain their daily offerings without rushing. I ordered delivery and they arrived really fast! Nothing but great things to say about this place! Try the Reese Pudding and Italian Pasta Salad with your next sandwich...off the chain!

Awesome food. The Turkey Brazilian is my personal favorite. The staff is very friendly and polite. Hands down the best sandwich shop in the area.

  • Eazey Y.

Although the food was good, I will not return to this spot solely based on the fact that a party of 3 that came in about 5 minutes AFTER we ordered was served their food before us. Big deal? Perhaps not IF they had something simple like soup but the kicker is that at least one of them had the same sandwich I did, and all 3 of them got their food before we did. Only difference between us and them, since it clearly wasn't the sandwich, was that they were white and we aren't.

  • Todd L.

A coworker had suggested this in the past and I will never doubt them again. As far as good goes. The Brazilian roast pork may have been the best sandwich/ sub I've ever had. Wish I lived closer but will be back whenever I work in the area

  • Brett C.

Loved the food. My girlfriend and I got the italiano, cup of chili, bagel with cream cheese and an oreo pudding and the Reese's peanut butter pudding. I recommended it to a few people already and it was the best chili that I ever had.

    (5)
  • William C.

I had the Cuban with Pork, which was way too salty - I had to wash it down with water. Though, I may go again just to give them another shot in the future - 8-9$ for a panini is a bit steep though. I wouldn't mind paying that price at a restaurant with wait service. Let's just say, i'm the kind of person who looks for $$ food at $ prices

Seriously some of the best food you will get! All of the sandwiches are great as well as breakfast. I have never had a problem with my order and routinely make "change outs" because I am a picky person. We come here often and recommend it to everyone in our circle of friends and family! Stop in, the location may scare some people away but seriously never underestimate a sandwich shop attached to a gas station again. AMAZING!

  • Amber S.

I have only been here 1 time. I'll admit, food is good... But neither of the owners use gloves - him or his wife. Absolutely gross. I came back 1 more time to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves. Well I said to the female- I was reluctant to come back because the guy did not use gloves. I mean answered phones, took cash payments and went back to making my sandwich. Freaking gross. So anyway, after approaching her she says "we use a lot of hand sanitizer"... I never saw her or the guy use sanitizer. I'm just disgusted. I believe they are the owners.. And if so that is even worse.

Don't let the gas station dissuade you. Incredible sandwiches. Home made meatballs. Try the Cuban sandwich!!

  • David O.

Awesome food.... I've only stopped here 3 times, but the food and service has always been great. Give the smoked mid-western a try, it might just be the best sandwich I've ever had. Today I tried a sample of their dill pickle soup, sounded horrible to me, but it tasted wonderful. Next week when I stop in, I'll be ordering some dill pickle soup:-)

  • K S.

Love the food! The options are vast and everything we've had so far has been great. They do get very busy, but worth the wait.

  • Jeff S.

I cannot believe the owner (I think his name was John?) was speaking to his employees infront of customers. I had been in before and heard the employees talking about how horrible he was, and now I saw it for myself! I will not be coming back! So offensive calling kids "fucking retards" when obviously they were trying hard.

I never liked deli sandwiches, until I tried Simple Sands. My fave is the Santa Fe Turkey wrap, which I enjoy with some frequency - thankfully their early morning hours allow me to pick one up on my way into work. Generous portions of meat and really tasty sauces make these sandwiches anything but simple. The veggies always taste very fresh. We've had Simple Sands cater several personal and work events, having sandwiches and deli salads delivered, and the crowd always raves.

  • Bob M.

I didn't know what I was getting into! I ordered the "Hero" and it was colossal. It was enough for 2 or 3 people, easily. Piled high with meat with all the condiments. A few days earlier I ordered the "Cuban", it was as good as I have this side of Miami. I guess the next stop is their "Reuben", I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Bob M. The Dena

A very close friend's mother recently passed away, and I wanted to send something more useful than flowers, I decided to send some food instead. He was in Maryland with his family and I'm in Cambridge, MA. After looking around yelp, I decided to give Simple Sands Deli a call based on their awesome reviews. I phoned at noon on a week day, probably their busiest time, but Jessica took all the time to answer my questions, describe sandwiches and salads, select what should be sent in the sandwich platter, salad, chips etc. She asked me what I'd like written on the note that would be delivered as well, and set up a time for it all to be delivered the next day. It was delivered at precisely the time we had agreed on. Perfection. Jessica was so incredibly nice (something that is seriously in short supply when it comes to customer service these days), I was so thankful for all her help. Though I'll probably never have the opportunity to visit Simple Sands Deli, they are stars in my book.

I stop by to get some gas saw the deli stepped in and told the girl behind the counter to give me the best sandwich she's got. The turkey Brazilian oh my goodness she knows her deli sandwiches. I loved it! Its a little spicy but they use quality Dietz and Watson turkey piled high with cheese melted and toasted on Cuban bread it was just perfect hands down the best deli sandwich in the Glen Burnie area!

Update 4/17: Went there again and ordered an Italian, chicken salad (based on other reviewer comments), and a midwestern. The midwestern was delicious, although I'm basing this off of only one bite I stole from my wife's. The Italian looked great and I'm told it was amazing. My order was the chicken salad sandwich. To be honest, it was a bit of a disappointment. The taste was alright, but the sandwich itself did not compare to any of the others we ordered from there. In fact, that is the first thing my wife mentioned when she saw it because it looked like half of their sandwiches. I have to ask myself if I feel like I received something equivalent to what I paid for it. For the other two sandwiches, definitely. For mine, it felt like there should have been more chicken salad to it. Original post: Used a groupon we purchased for this place. My expectations based on the location were low, but all of the positive yelps made me think otherwise. I ordered the Ruben, my wife had the cuban, and my 1.5 year old son had a PB and J. Ruben- amazing, although I think it could have used more dressing. My wife disagreed and thought it was perfect. Regardless, tons for meat for the price. Cuban- I took a bite of this and was jealous that I didn't order it. Talk about delicious. Again, tons of meat and toppings for what you pay. PB&J- Not the most gourmet thing on the menu, but it doesn't have to be when the palette is someone under 2. My son loved it, especially because it was a triple decker (bread, jelly, bread, peanut butter, bread). Poor little guy could hardly fit it in his mouth, but he loved every bite of it. None of the three of us could finish more than 1/2 the sandwich. That leaves us with another meal at some future point, making the price paid an even better deal (in my mind). I'd highly suggest this place. It blows all other sub/sandwitch places out of the water, and it is local to boot!

Easily the best deli in the Glen Burnie/Pasadena area. Of course, that's not hard to be. :) Large portions of quality meats, simple recipes, and expert execution. Don't be discouraged by the location. This place is legit!

This is my 2nd review. I love this place! The counter lady was over worked and the owner came in to help. He may have been making deliveries. While waiting for my scrumptious meatball sub I asked them to add an Italian cold cut to my order for my lunch the next day. They even put the seasoned EVOO & mayo in little containers so it wouldn't make my sub soggy. They put 4 huge hand rolled meatballs on an 8" sub and at least an inch of meat on the 8" cold cut. Ask them to fix the cold cut with a hoagie roll. The usual is on a thick cut white bread I think. You have to have an Italian cold cut on a hoagie roll! They use Deitz & Watson meats. They are so huge I could only eat half of a sub at a time. When I shared my cold cut with a classmate, she said it was the freshest and best she has had outside of Philly. That's saying a lot for a Philly native! Each sandwich was around $8 and each one was two meals for me. They have a variety of homemade sides with their own twist added. Please stop and try Simple Sands! Don't let the fact that they are attached to a gas station keep you away.

I have been to Simple Sands at least 8 times now. Every time I go have have the HARDEST time deciding what to order. Everything so good and I'm a huge eater it makes it even harder. Normally depends on what I had the last time. I know a lot of people probably get turned off about it being in a gas station parking lot, but guess what? GET OVER IT! You cannot find another sandwich better than this in the area! Every time I come in I'm greeted with friendly service and they are constantly checking on me asking how my food is and if I need anything else. The only other thing I can tell people is to try it for themselves. I guarantee you will come back and crave it on days you can't get it. They give you so much meat for the price! Basically the same price as Subway with 4x the meat! The only other thing I can suggest to them is to create a food challenge. I loved the show Man vs Food and I have completed the Chick & Ruth's challenge in Annapolis along with a challenge featured on the show in Cleveland. This would build hype and get more people in the door and it would be fun. Come up with another huge sandwich or the hero, 30 minutes, get it done and you win a t-shirt or something. The only other thing is the sandwiches are so good it makes up for it sometimes I wish they had fries or onion rings, but its not a big deal. Other than that this place is still awesome and I will continue to keep coming for a long, long time! I signed up for Yelp just to write this! Now stop reading this review and get yourself a sand!

This place is truly a hidden gem! Sharing a lot with a gas station, I never would have bothered to venture into this little deli. However, after reading many positive reviews on a list serve that I'm a member of I decided to go check it out. BUT upon entering the quaint little deli, I was greeted by a man behind the counter who was more than happy to help us choose what to try. There was a special called the turkey cubin ( I think I'm remembering it right) My boyfriend had it and it was outta this world, sweet, spicy with the right amount of kick. I had a meatball sub and it was huge, and delicious. I'm really looking forward to going back again to try more items. There is also an option to take home lunch meat and deli salads if you like. You HAVE to try this out. It will be your new favorite sandwich shop for sure!

This place is great. I have been living in Severna Park most of my life and have not had a sandwich as good as the one I had at Simple Sands. The Turkey Brazilian could be one of the best things I have ever eaten. The service is good and the employees are very friendly and out going. This a top spot for me and my co workers to stop into for Lunch. I only wish I knew about it sooner. The price of the food is great too. At most sandwich places you can't walk out with out spend more than $10.00 but not at this place. GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE. Blows all other sandwich shops in the area out of the water.

Came for the first time last weekend- Simple Sands, where have you been all my life? Loved the sandwiches- got a Turkey Brazillian per the owner's suggestion and my husband had a Corned beef and pastrami sandwich- both were AMAZING!! The owner was very nice, friendly, and informative. We also had a side of the ranch potato salad that was also very good!! Will definitely positively be back!!! THANK YOU, SIMPLE SANDS DELI!!!!!!! Actually, as I am writing this, I am beginning to droop a bit!! :)

Simple Sands Deli was AWESOME! We were on our way back from the beach and were looking for a sandwich shop to sit down at. Although the shop is in an odd location, the food was fresh and fantastic.

Simple Sands Deli is the real McCoy in deli sandwiches. They are stacked sky high with quality meats and cheeses. The homemade sides are also scrumptious. John, the owner, is passionate about serving up high quality, flavorful food. This establishment is in a class of its own, not the run of the mill sandwich shop. Highly recommend Simple Sands Deli.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The couple behind the counter whom I assume are the owners are just the sweetest, nicest people and very helpful. I ordered the West Coast Wrap and it was absolutely wonderful, and since it was also our first time ordering from them also ordered the Italiano sandwich which comes on sourdough bread I believe, I asked if it was possible to turn into a sub using their homemade sub rolls and they didn't bat an eye and accommodated me. The sub was wonderful! as were the rolls, which you can buy to take home along with their cinnamon raisin bread and homemade croutons. I also just had to try the banana pudding, I am a banana pudding snob and OMG was it wonderful! My family and I cannot wait to try some of the other menu items, this place is a must to go to! Also, if you look at the menu and think the prices are a tad high, they use high quality meats and cheese and LOAD them on the sandwiches so they are ABSOLUTELY worth the price :-)

Simple Sands has the best sandwiches! We have been here for breakfast (which by the way is served all day!!) and lunch. We have tried at least 8 differents menu items. The prices are fantastic and the sandwiches far surpass any sandwiches we have had elsewhere. John makes his own sauces, soups and breads! It has also quickly become the favorite choice for lunch for my office (which by the way is the Health Dept!). The Turkey Club is probably my favorite so far...my husband and son's favorite is the Brazilian pork...but who knows...that keeps changing everytime we go, we get a new favorite!

Delicious food, this was a nice little find for on our way home from the beach. I liked the homemade dill spread and the interesting sides so much I would probably drive out of my bubble just to come have lunch here again!

Stopped in here after spending a morning at Kinder Farm Park. Between my husband, myself, and our four kids we got: Turkey Club, Chicken Cesar Wrap, Kids Grilled Cheese, and an order of French toast with bacon. Everything was delicious and obviously freshly made. We had to take home half of both large sandwiches. It's a small shop but even at noon on a Saturday it wasn't packed. Seems like most people order for pickup or delivery. Will definitely come back when we are in the are!

Great little deli with a good breakfast menu. Not just your standard bfast sandwiches either but some unique concoctions as well. I got the Breakfast Brazilian (see photo). Smoked turkey, Swiss, bacon, egg, pesto, and Brazilian pepper sauce. Wow. Delicious. My wife got a Bacon Egg and Cheese on Toast and devoured it. Lots of crisp bacon. A friend got the Sausage Patty Sandwich which is simply two patties with egg, and cheese in an English muffin. Two patties is the key. Looked like a burger. Might have to come back for that one. Full size deli counter, a free fountain soda (with purchase of a sandwich) for Yelpers, delivery, and just an overall great little place for breakfast or lunch.

Boy I rarely go against the majority when the ratings are so good, because I usually have an equal experience. Not this time. Ordered the Brazilian Roasted Pork sandwich and a Reuben. My first bite in I was so not impressed. The bread was wet, and though there were grill marks on the panini the fillings were not even warm. My mouth burned from the "over" seasoned components of this sammie, and no flavor stood out but the pesto. There was absolutely no porkiness to the pork (I could have been eating sliced tofu), never tasted any red onion or pepper mayo, and gouda which has quite a bit of punch was tasteless and unmelted. Nothing worked here. Zero. A few more bites after trying to wipe away the pesto and the meal was thrown in the trash. What a waste of food and money. The Reuben looked great. A nice stack of beef, sauerkraut, swiss and Russian dressing. Result. Tasteless. We could not believe how such strong flavored components could be so bland and underwhelming. It was like eating a meal when you have a head cold and your taste buds are zapped. This sandwich wasn't finished either, even after I took a couple bites. We had bought a side of chips to eat with our meal, but we could not imagine putting another salty thing in our mouths so the bag remained untouched. 1 1/2 stars.

Strongly suggest you reconsider before ordering from here. We placed an order for delivery thru Grub Hub and literally two minutes later they closed their delivery site down for the day. Instead of providing us the common courtesy of a call to let us know that after they charged our credit card they would NOT be delivering our food, they sent an email. They sent a second email to state that they were refunding our money but it would take 3-5 business days. So why charge my account if you had no intention of sending my food? If you had even called to tell me this I could have went ahead and picked it up instead of having a hold on my credit card of $28.99. This is unacceptable. Customer service, or lack thereof, goes a long way.

Finally! A quality deli in the SP/Dena area. It all starts with the meat quality, and SS uses Dietz and Watson products. So far, I've ordered the Reuben, Italiano, Santa Fe Chicken, and a roast beef sub. Everyone was a large filling and well prepared sandwich. I have no complaints. In addition, the deli serves breakfast all day. You can't beat that.

Ordered from GrubHub, was ready when I arrived. Had the veggie wrap. Unfortunately, it had too much sauce and it was dripping everywhere. The flavor profile was good, but it was soggy. Located next to a gas station; may be off-putting to some.

Simple sands 'catered' our small three day training seminar and it was fantastic. They delivered lunch all three days. We all had a cute little box lunch with something different each day. The sandwiches or wraps were STUFFED with goodness; the sides and deserts were a nice touch. Definitely enjoy using Simple Sands for all our deli needs. :) -deborah

Awesome sandwich shop. Definitely a mom and pop. 5 tables and huge sandwiches. We got the hero and split it. It was still massive enough to take down two dude's post work out. Check this place out. It's connected to the gas station.

They are right down the street from my office and I go about once per month. Great sandwiches. I have had several different ones and they have all been great. And the home made sides and soups aredelicious. Great Deli and the people are great! Good Job John.

This deli is such a gem. I encourage you to go in and ask Jeremy for his recommendation. Jeremy helped make this Deli an A+ in my book. His customer service was top notch. We ended up getting the Brazilian pork sandwich and west coast wrap with some bombastic potato salad. Such a great place!

Just had lunch here. The sandwiches are awesome. The "hero" is ginormous but delicious. Even the kids sandwiches were a pretty good size. Will definitely be returning here.

AMAZING FOOD! The amount of meat you get on your sandwiches for the price is unbelievable. My husband ordered the "Hero" and it was huge. Don't know how one person could eat it. The service was amazing. You can tell the two gentlemen working take pride in their place. They really took the time to explain the different food to us since it was our first time. I am so glad we tried this place and we will definitely be back! The best sandwiches and service in the area!!!
