The absolute best ice cream place I've been to! And I have lived all over the U.S. and overseas. The owner ("Mr. Ice Cream ") was fabulous to talk to and they make their own ice cream!! I can't stop talking about how great their ice cream is!

Great ice cream, very friendly staff. Would go back! Loved their PB ripple ice cream and the chocolate chocolate ice cream.

Absolutely wonderful! Visiting from Texas and tried their pumpkin. praline and cream flavor. Unusual and the best treat I've had since we arrived. Too bad I found this place the next to last day here,

Hands down, the best place to get ice cream in the greater Annapolis area. They have traditional flavors, as well as some unique ones. I have yet to try one I didn't like. They also sell a variety of ice cream treats such as sundaes, floats, and milkshakes. They've recently expanded their selection to include Italian ices that are authentic, Brooklyn style. I have never had one of their cakes or pies, but would love to try. The owner and head ice cream maker is a super nice guy who always comes out to say hello to his patrons. The employees are friendly, polite, and efficient. It's a little out of the way for me, but having ice cream is a treat for me, and well worth the drive.

Yummo! The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The ice cream flavors are wonderful. There are new flavors all of the time so there's always good variety. Their ice cream cakes, pies, banana splits, and Nutty Buddies are also great. We have been going here for years and have taken guests, too. They are always impressed and love with the place. Highly recommend The Daily Scoop for a yummy treat!

Ice cream at its best! The service was incomparable and welcoming. Cannot wait to visit again. The proprietor takes pride in creating new and interesting flavors. Ask for recommendations.

Always creative and yummy flavors of ice cream. I think they can make any flavor combo taste good! Quick and nice service even a peak busy time.

We've only been here a year and this is already a family favorite. I love that they change their flavors and it really feels like a local joint. Is it the best ice cream I've ever had? No, but it is the best in the area.

  • Sarah S.

The daily scoop is where it's at! The owners are amazing and delightful and want you to try so many flavors you're full by the time you get your order. Pies, ice cream cake, nutty buddies and anything else they sell, you can't go wrong!

  • terilyn b.

Best ice cream in the states hands down! This guy is an ice cream genius. Creamy and delicious and so many flavors it was impossible to decide! Apple pie, peanut butter, espresso bean, German chocolate, French peach and so many more. Rice Kristie treat ice cream sandwiches were a huge hit with the family. Might need to travel back to Maryland just to get more.

Wow!!!! Delicious ice cream and toppings. The cherry on top? Vet, very friendly staff.

Every town should have a hometown, family owned ice cream shoppe. A place where you can taste the care and love that goes into a craft, and where every customer is greeted with a smile and a sample. All the unique flavored are delicious. I personally always go for the Apple Pie. Every town deserves an ice cream shoppe, and I'm glad I have the Daily Scoop in my town.

  • Paul C.

How can you go wrong with homemade ice cream? They even have bacon ice cream from time to time. 5 stars just for that. Plus, you can tell the owner derives great pleasure in his craft.

  • Christine C.

We were in the area so we tried it out based on a recommendation. It was good but there is limited seating and no tables. If I lived closer I would probably frequent it because it seems down to earth and local - but it was just good. Nothing extravagant here. Just good local business. It was pricey.

Let me tell you this, daily scoop is worth a 20 minute drive. Not only is the ice cream fresh, and delicious, but the people working there are extremely welcoming. My dad is known for his jokes and the owner (Mr. Ice Cream) joked back. My mom and I used to come here about a year ago but stopped due to work and school but I really wanted to come back and show my dad just how amazing this place really is. There's this kid that works there who is just as sweet as the owner. He was helpful and extremely funny. My dad didn't really know what he wanted so he asked him what he usually liked and gave him flavor to try based on what my dad told him. He eventually went with a strawberry shake and I went with a scoop cookies and cream with hot fudge. It was the best ice cream I've EVER had. Like ever. You better make sure to keep your cookies and cream in stock, mr. Ice cream because I'll be coming back.

If you don't like the Daily Scoop, you're wrong. You can't beat their selection of homemade ice creams; and they are equipped to provide almost any type of sundae you could ever think of. As college students (10 yrs ago), my wife and I worked at the Friendly's Ice Cream Shoppe down the street. We would get off and forego our employee discount to go to the newly opened Daily Scoop and pay full price. It was that good...and it still is.

We went looking for a new Ice Cream shop...and we found it!!! So many flavors to choose from!! Samples were plentiful and really showcased the ice cream!!!

I had a banana split and it was DELICIOUS! The young lady that served me was totally pleasant and sweet and accommodating to what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this establishment for sure

  • Jessica L.

We simply love this place and miss it now that we've moved. The owners are super friendly, as is the rest of the young staff. But the ice cream is why we keep coming back - it's just so good and there's always something new to try. You're missing out if you haven't been here yet!

  • Jamon W.

All I can say is best ice cream I have ever had great atmosphere very friendly workers loved all of the flavors that they had even the bacon flavored. They provided a great amount of ice cream. Me and a few of my friends had found this little treasure one night and haven't stop coming since.

  • Sabina B.

I love the mad scientist looking guy that gives out advice and encouraging words. And the random assortment of varying flavors of ice cream.

    (5)
  • Ron A.

You haven't come here for ice cream yet??? Wha- How can that be??? This is infamous! Look, you have to come here for ice cream. It's a moral imperative! The owner is like the Willy Wonka of ice cream! He actually loves making ice cream and this love is reflected in his product. Nothing here is bad. Sample all you want, you'll see! I promise you'll not be sorry you made the trip.

  • pseudo n.

Still very good; on a good day they are neck and neck with the Annapolis Ice Cream Shop but they've slipped a little - not quite as good sometimes and ice crystals a few times recently. Still a top 2 or 3 place in the entire area for ice cream.

    (4)
  • Linda C.

High quality Homemade ice cream! The owner gave generous samples!! They have wide variety of flavors. Must try if you are in Pasadena!!!!!!

    (5)
  • Julie C.

GREAT ice cream shop! Aside from being delicious, the staff is always so friendly and patient with everyone who is there, even when super busy! Definitely a must try if in the area!

    (5)
  • Eric L.

What a wonderful find. Thanks fellow yelpers for highlighting this establishment. Wonderful fresh made ice cream and reasonable prices. It's buried in a strip shopping center, but don't be afraid. I'll be back, I wish I lived closer.

Great People and Better ice cream. Excellent ingredients and a sense of pride make this a place to go. Fresh and large selection of flavors.

  • Taylor B.

The employees and owner could not be nicer. The ice cream and shakes are delicious! My husband got me an ice cream cake for my birthday and it was wonderful. I will be getting our sons cake from here too :)

  • Kate L.

Perfectly perfect. The ice cream is homemade on site and there is endless variety. The staff is unfailingly friendly, helpful, and patient with my endless sample requests. Every flavor I've had has been divine, the banana milkshake is the best I've ever had, the root beer floats always hit the spot, and if you are so inclined to have them warm a brownie for a sundae, you will not be disappointed. I have not yet tried one, but the cakes and pies look too good to eat.

  • Christina D.

We just moved to the area, so it's great to have that staple local ice cream shop. the girls working are always friendly and never annoyed by my daughter wanting to sample five thousand flavors before choosing vanilla. Good value, much cheaper than a ritas or dairy queen. My only complaint is that the strawberry is a bit disapointing. it's my favorite flavor, and i'd rather go buy some haagen dazs from wawa if given a choice. But that would be my only complaint. We all enjoy our weekly trip there, and it doesnt break the bank.

I tried Daily Scoop based on the reviews of fellow yelpers. Thanks. I enjoyed speaking with the man who works there and who suggested I try many of the flavors, which I did. They rotate the offering of their flavors and the many that I tried are all very good. Some are fantastic. Their chocolate, bear claw and strawberry are just three of the ones that I really like so I bought a pint of each. The chocolate which may be made from cocoa powder for a strong good dark chocolate taste which I like. Of course it is also sweet, rich and smooth being ice cream but the taste is there. The bear claw is a chocolate with chocolate covered almond pieces and dark caramel mixed throughout. For me the dark caramel lends a richer, almost woody caramel taste. I initially thought it like a maple syrup more of full flavor instead of most caramel flavors which are little beside sugar. Before visiting the store I had read one yelper's comment about the strawberry which I sampled in the store and found great so I took home a pint and picked up one of the HD to do a comparison. My comparison of the Brooklyn NY "Haagen-Dazs" strawberry and the Pasadena MD Daily Scoop strawberry - The comparisons were done on separate days because I don't want to eat a quart in a single day and I wanted to recheck any opinions I found in the earlier comparisons. First, both are extremely good strawberry ice creams in my opinion. They have very good strawberry and cream flavors with a rich and smooth texture. Each has bits of fruit mixed through the ice cream. Only personal preferences will determine someone's favorite. Daily Scoop- is my clear winner for the following reasons. Visually the Daily Scoop ice cream has a base color that is slightly darker pink and the swirls of fruit are more abundant and larger. DS's slightly more pronounced aroma of fruit as it melts in your mouth. So the DS strawberry flavor is slightly stronger than the HD version. Both are clearly premium, very good strawberry ice creams but the HD has a slightly more pronounced cream and sugar taste. It is a matter of balance and personal preference. The Haagen-Dazs is a harder ice cream. By that I mean that it is structurally strong hence requires for force to scoop out of a container. The Daily Scoop ice cream is a hard ice cream with an almost identical hardness and texture to a Ben and Jerry ice cream. Because of the HD hardness I thought a pint would weigh more than the DS but it didn't seem to.

OK, so I'm not an ice cream fan but this place has amazing ice cream!!! I love that they have different flavors daily because it kind of forces you to try different things!! the owner is very nice and affable and adds to the greatness of the place! I also love how close it is to me!!!! Great Pasadena find! :)

    (5)
  • Lauren A.

I've been here quite a few times, and it's always very pleasant. I'm not even a very big ice cream fan, but now and then I get an urge for some and this is the first place I think of. The flavors are cute, and the ice cream has a real 'real' taste to it, void of that hint of mass-production. It's creamy and sweet. I don't think it's necessarily the ice cream itself that's the draw to this place, though, so much as the atmosphere. The owner always says hi to everyone that walks in the door, and pays each person special attention. I love looking at the wall of pictures to try and find myself. This is a fantastic small business that deserves appreciation for it's dedication to good product and service.

  • Utkarsh P.

This is hands down the best ice cream. Mike has ruined it for me and my friends. We can't have ice cream anywhere else. Mike, the ice cream man makes everyone feel welcome. You can definitely see the passion in his eyes! Where else can you order a gallon of the best carrot cake and get it the next day? There are two idiots that left crappy reviews here: a Jamie and a Barbara. No amount of bad reviews is going to change the mind of the thousands of loyal customers. So they can just shove it. Love you, TDS!

  • Chelsea Y.

This place always has a line! The few times I've been here it seems to be, above all else, a hit with the locals. I have had my fair share of delicious ice cream, The Daily Scoop falls in line with my expectations. Interesting flavors, nice atmosphere and tasty "nutty buddies". I also recommend their milkshakes, boys flocked to my yard when I got home with mine.

  • Shawn M.

First of all let me say that not only is this the best ice cream you will EVER eat. The experience that my family and I shared with the owner was amazing. It was so warm and welcoming. The owner is hilarious and fun. It is the way ice cream shops and many other shops should be. It will bring you back to the days of olde but with a very real and authentic flavor. I wish more businesses were run like this.

I have been searching for an ice cream store like this since I moved to MD from Long Island, NY. For fellow NYers, this place is like a Carvel only better! I had been craving a soft serve ice cream cone (NOT frozen yogurt) like one I used to get at the corner mom and pop shop for awhile. We tried Dairy Queen- not even close. We tried Kilwins in Annapolis to find it served hard scoop only. I Yelp'd and Urban Spoon-ed my little heart out only to find very high rated frozen yogurt shops (which were almost all self serve- bleh). My husband located Daily Scoop and took the family after dinner one night. I almost died- seriously amazing! Smooth, creamy, perfectly sweetened ice cream hand served in a delicious homemade hand dipped waffle cone (which come in three sizes!). I enjoyed it so much, I almost bought another cone because I was so disappointed mine was finished. We live approx. 20 miles from this joint and you better believe I will make the family take the trip at least once a month to satisfy my ice cream craving. Simply the best, hands down!

I have a serious addiction to this cute shop. Last stop I had the birthday cake ice cream. It was not my favorite. We also purchased a peanut butter cup pie to go. WOW! It easily fed 8 with large portions and was heavenly. Ice cream pie rocks my world.

  • Brian O.

Best ice cream around. You won't be able to eat grocery store bought ice cream after eating here. The ice cream man is very friendly and always has a kind word. Free samples as well. Recommend the ice cream man create an elevated flavor board. The place always has a line and you can't see the flavor selection. You feel a bit rushed when it's finally your turn. An elevated board would allow you more time to decide.

  • J G.

Fun fun fun!!! Why have I never been to this place before. Went here on a whim after searching on yelp. The owner was a hoot. You can try every flavor in there and you are encouraged to do so. It looks like an ice cream parlor from my childhood and the flavors change almost daily! What's not to love?! The milkshakes are delicious, oh yes we got to sample that too! Cannot wait to bring the kiddos back to try it too! Only draw back is there is really no where to sit but there are two benches out front. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars. However the ice cream and service are 5 star experience.

    (4)
  • Neenah L.

Best ice cream!!! BUT the waiting area is horrible. And it's really hard to get a good look at all the flavors to choose from without loosing your place or being hindered by other patrons in line. This shop needs to expand.

  • Danielle L.

Im in love with this place!! Love Love Love. Stopped here on the way home from a local park and had the taste for something sweet. This MAYBE the absolute best ice cream I've ever had outside of this childhood place I would go when we visited New York. Seems they have fresh flavors weekly!! Along with other treat... cakes, sundaes, milkshakes. I also saw sorbet and Italian Ice. My daughter got Smurf and and I of course had chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. I will be back... I love a great discovery :-) maybe next time I will try something alittle less plain. Great customer service!!! They were willing to let taste what ever you seemed interested in. Leah must have tried 4 or 5 different flavors.

  • Jamie S.

The ice cream is okay, nothing special. The last time I was in the daily scoop I witnessed a customer come in and complain about bad customer service to the owner. It was very unprofessional on both ends. I also find that the owners speak very poorly to their workers. I have witnessed the guy that works there say rude things to them before. I just drove by and noticed they were open, and I feel bad for those who don't get to spend Easter with their family because they're working for that man. The place only gets a lot of business because their is no other ice cream place around.

    (1)
  • Jason S.

This guy is the Willy Wonka of Ice Cream and he is totally in touch with what his customers want. All day this fella is posting on facebook about which flavors he is making, and asking people which flavors they want to see. He uses an outrageously high butter fat in his cream which makes his ice cream super rich and decadent, just like it ought to be. I LOVE the ice cream man. (an innocent bromance)

    (5)
  • Joe K.

Local ice creamy with ties in New York with a family style atmosphere, excellent service with sub par iced cream and jacked up prices. They have a lot of special flavors but nothing too rare or unique. You may sample everything in the shop like all ice cream shops. Nothing here is that special, however being located in Pasadena where most common things are a rarity, this place is a local gem in the community.

My wife, daughter and myself had the urge for ice cream so we went out not knowing where we would end up. My wife spotted the Daily Scoop from the street so we pulled in. Walked in and they had plenty of ice cream to choose from. You could try a sample of as much ice cream as you wanted but it only took me one sample to decide on what I was getting. Peanut Butter Captain Crunch ice cream, enough said!! My wife had pistachio flavored as my daughter who is 2 just had a simple chocolate soft serve in a cup and also was sampling my wife and my ice cream in between bites of hers. Daily Scoop is a very clean, well lit ice cream shop. The employees are very friendly, and helpful as well as patient. Took my wife a few minutes to decide. It is a little bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. We will be going back very soon, I'm craving the Peanut Butter Captain Crunch right now.

  • Darius M.

The owner's passion for what he does is evident in both the quality of the ice cream and the creativity that he applies to it. I had a taste of his experimental "red hot" ice cream. This was a blast of those little red candies we remember from childhood. Made with a healthy dose of fresh cinnamon, it tasted great. Even more telling was that he chose to leave it the natural color (brownish) rather than hop it up with some artificial red dye. Here it's all about the flavor. We'll be back to sample some other flavors, but especially his unique and special offerings.

Out of this world ice cream with an old time feel. Best ice cream around! Keeper for sure!!

Love their chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone!! Cake batter, birthday cake, and Kit Kat are very good too!

    (5)
  • Angela U.

Most people have covered how great the ice cream is, so I'll skip that part. I will say, however, that I would MUCH rather give my business to an establishment such as this, with fabulous service and (mostly) amazing ice cream flavors, than some pricey national creamery like Cold Stone or Maggie Moo's. So far, I've had the chocolate pomegranate, which is by far my favorite... the cookies and cream, Ashleigh's cookie jar, cookie dough, and birthday cake. The only flavor I didn't care for was cookie dough.. it should be called "cappuccino cookie dough" because for some reason, it has a coffee flavor and I really don't like coffee. There were nice giant gobs of cookie dough in it, though. So it's a tad hit or miss for me.. mostly hit, though.. and again, I'd take the time to try as many flavors as possible to find what you like than go elsewhere.

  • Layla G.

The service is great; everyone is always friendly. Sometimes the owner will come out with samples of new flavors he's trying. Their ice cream is delicious and you never know what flavors they're gonna have, although they always have some basic ones that everyone likes (chocolate, vanilla, etc.)

    (5)
  • Jaquan B.

Loved this place as it brought back childhood memories. You don't see many autbentic parlors around anymore.Would prefer this over Coldstone, Baskin Robbins, etc. Owner is so intouch with his customers.......via my website I attempt to give you an idea of why this location (owner is the bomb) caused me to crown them as service champions. all4serviceonline.com/th…

Excellent ice cream, really slow line. My favorite was the Mississippi Mud Pie. I hope they keep it as a regular.

    (4)
  • Nixie F.

This is hands down my favorite place in pasadena. They handmade their ice cream everyday and the flavors change daily. The best part is they let you sample as many flavors as you want so this way you can narrow down what ice cream you want to get. The people are always friendly and if their is a line they move it quickly. I brought my mom from put of town here and she even bought the ice cream cannolis and both her and my fiancé raved about that and their milkshakes

    (5)
  • Lesley E.

A locally owned shop, with handcrafted and delicious ice cream; an owner there nearly all the time, who comes out and gabs/jokes with each customer as if they'd known each other for years. Seriously. What more could you want, yelpers?? This place is worthy of every star!!

    (5)
  • Kristin H.

Oh my goodness. I just moved to the area and heard everyone talking about this place. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner and he asked me what my favorite traditional flavor was and then proceeded to throw crazy delicious twists on them. I tried mint with chocolate covered pretzels in it and I went with mint with peppermint bark. This place has the best customer service!!! The price was reasonable for the quality. I paid $4 for a single dip in a waffle cone.

    (5)
  • Amber H.

This is the best place to get ice cream in all of Maryland! Super yummy flavors' excellent customer service' and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommended!! I always go here for ice cream all year round

Homemade ice cream, different creatively delicious flavors every day. The owners are friendly as can be and will talk you into trying EVERY flavor. The ice cream is so inventive, I could easily call the owner an ice cream chef. We love coming here and bring everyone who comes to our home into the Daily Scope to enjoy great ice cream and great company.

Aloha: If you want real Ice Cream, then The Daily Scoop is the place to visit. A welcoming, hometown atmosphere is fostered by the owner Mike the "Ice Cream Man", who personally makes every batch of frozen heaven. There is a real Mom and Pop feel and it is a place where everyone knows everyone. The Customers photos that cover the walls let you know that the customer is why The Daily Scoop exists. They truly make you feel welcome. If you want you can sample anything and the ice cream itself is unbelievable in taste. My Favorite is Birthday Cake, which like eating a piece of cake but only its ice cream. I am a regular and give the place 5 stars! D. J.

Great ice cream shop...no wait, fantastic ice cream shop for the Pasadena area. Product is made in house and the flavors are constantly changing. The young employees there are friendly and the owner is hilarious. I don't know how you could go to Cold Stone, Brusters, etc... when this place is nearby. Those chains are nowhere near as good.

  • Jamie O.

I'm not sure how I've lived my life eating Cold Stone and Maggie Moo's when this place has been sitting in Pasadena for the past 5 years. I was almost taken aback by the excellent customer service that we received! Mike "Mister Ice Cream Man" came out with a fresh batch of Cap n' Crunch ice cream, looked up at my boo and I, and proceeded to make us try at least 8 different kinds of ice cream. "You like bananas? Try Banana nut bread!" "You like peanut butter? Try peanut butter and jelly!" There was not a bad sample in the place. I had to have some of that fresh batch of Cap n' Crunch and I was NOT disappointed. The girl behind the counter suggested marshmallow topping and she is a genius for it. My boyfriend got a banana split with toasted coconut, peanut butter and jelly, and banana bread ice creams (for only $5.50!). The customer service is aces. The ice cream is not overly sweet and comes in a plethora of new and delicious flavors. It's topped off with a welcoming atmosphere that is in no way generic.

Honestly this is the best Ice Cream I have ever tasted. They also do fantastic gelatis, cakes, and Italian Ice. All ingredients are natural. I order all my birthday cakes from these folks, and whenever I have friends in town to visit we always stop by, especially if it is in the Fall - Summer - Spring. Listen, I'm not trying to be a goober for these guys, but this is the best ice cream you will probably ever taste.

I think i've been here a total of 3 or 4 times, but each time I have come its been a discovery of flavors. The captain crunch peanut butter flavor one is not my thing, but i suppose if you liked rice puffs? in ice cream that would be a good one to get. I also tried the banana pudding which was essentially banana ice cream with nilla wafers in it.. great. but not quite what i was looking for the other night. I ended up with the Mississippi mudpie (?) [i think thats what it was called..] The chocolate/coffee flavor was great, along with the chocolate swirls -- yum in a bowl.

walked in by accident! Good mistake! Lots of choices and they change on a semi daily basis so you can try them all! The Nutty Buddies, King Cones or whatever you like to call them are made in store (just like everything else!) and the pies and cakes are delicious as well. I've only tried one ice cream flavor called Cookie Jar (?) and it was alright. Not special. My husband had a Cotton Candy malt (strange choice!) and he loved it! I can't wait to go and choose a different flavor.

I hosted an event with The Daily Scoop, and the staff was so accommodating and gracious to all of the guests. It doesn't hurt that their ice cream is made in-house and is completely delicious. Cereal fans will delight in the Peanut Butter Cap n' Crunch ice cream!

Holy cow, was this place an amazing find! We happened upon this gem one evening and now (much to the shagrin of my waistline) we frequent about once a week. The ice cream flavors are fantastic! One of our favorites is English Toffee Coffee. But they have flavors like Capn'Crunch, banana pudding, boston cream pie, black cherry and of course all the regular flavors. I asked them the other day how often they change their flavors and she said almost every day! The man who makes the ice cream is awesome! He is so funny, and of course you can sample anything. There is a big board off to the side with all the flavors listed. I just can't believe some of the flavors. I can't wait until Fall when he starts making all the pumpkin ice creams.

Love their chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone!! Cake batter, birthday cake, and Kit Kat are very good too!

The service is great; everyone is always friendly. Sometimes the owner will come out with samples of new flavors he's trying. Their ice cream is delicious and you never know what flavors they're gonna have, although they always have some basic ones that everyone likes (chocolate, vanilla, etc.)

The employees and owner could not be nicer. The ice cream and shakes are delicious! My husband got me an ice cream cake for my birthday and it was wonderful. I will be getting our sons cake from here too :)

We've only been here a year and this is already a family favorite. I love that they change their flavors and it really feels like a local joint. Is it the best ice cream I've ever had? No, but it is the best in the area.

I had a banana split and it was DELICIOUS! The young lady that served me was totally pleasant and sweet and accommodating to what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this establishment for sure

We simply love this place and miss it now that we've moved. The owners are super friendly, as is the rest of the young staff. But the ice cream is why we keep coming back - it's just so good and there's always something new to try. You're missing out if you haven't been here yet!

All I can say is best ice cream I have ever had great atmosphere very friendly workers loved all of the flavors that they had even the bacon flavored. They provided a great amount of ice cream. Me and a few of my friends had found this little treasure one night and haven't stop coming since.

Still very good; on a good day they are neck and neck with the Annapolis Ice Cream Shop but they've slipped a little - not quite as good sometimes and ice crystals a few times recently. Still a top 2 or 3 place in the entire area for ice cream.

High quality Homemade ice cream! The owner gave generous samples!! They have wide variety of flavors. Must try if you are in Pasadena!!!!!!

What a wonderful find. Thanks fellow yelpers for highlighting this establishment. Wonderful fresh made ice cream and reasonable prices. It's buried in a strip shopping center, but don't be afraid. I'll be back, I wish I lived closer.

    (2)

Excellent ice cream, really slow line. My favorite was the Mississippi Mud Pie. I hope they keep it as a regular.

    (4)
  • Nixie F.

This is hands down my favorite place in pasadena. They handmade their ice cream everyday and the flavors change daily. The best part is they let you sample as many flavors as you want so this way you can narrow down what ice cream you want to get. The people are always friendly and if their is a line they move it quickly. I brought my mom from put of town here and she even bought the ice cream cannolis and both her and my fiancé raved about that and their milkshakes

    (4)

  • Nic D.

  • Mj O.

  • paula j.

walked in by accident!

The absolute best ice cream place I've been to! And I have lived all over the U.S. and overseas. The owner ("Mr. Ice Cream ") was fabulous to talk to and they make their own ice cream!! I can't stop talking about how great their ice cream is!

The daily scoop is where it's at! The owners are amazing and delightful and want you to try so many flavors you're full by the time you get your order. Pies, ice cream cake, nutty buddies and anything else they sell, you can't go wrong!

    (5)
  • Paul C.

How can you go wrong with homemade ice cream? They even have bacon ice cream from time to time. 5 stars just for that. Plus, you can tell the owner derives great pleasure in his craft.

We were in the area so we tried it out based on a recommendation. It was good but there is limited seating and no tables. If I lived closer I would probably frequent it because it seems down to earth and local - but it was just good. Nothing extravagant here. Just good local business. It was pricey.

Best ice cream!!! BUT the waiting area is horrible. And it's really hard to get a good look at all the flavors to choose from without loosing your place or being hindered by other patrons in line. This shop needs to expand.

The service is great; everyone is always friendly. Sometimes the owner will come out with samples of new flavors he's trying. Their ice cream is delicious and you never know what flavors they're gonna have, although they always have some basic ones that everyone likes (chocolate, vanilla, etc.)

The absolute best ice cream place I've been to! And I have lived all over the U.S. and overseas. The owner ("Mr. Ice Cream ") was fabulous to talk to and they make their own ice cream!! I can't stop talking about how great their ice cream is!

  • Sarah S.

We've only been here a year and this is already a family favorite. I love that they change their flavors and it really feels like a local joint. Is it the best ice cream I've ever had? No, but it is the best in the area.

Still very good; on a good day they are neck and neck with the Annapolis Ice Cream Shop but they've slipped a little - not quite as good sometimes and ice crystals a few times recently. Still a top 2 or 3 place in the entire area for ice cream.

What a wonderful find. Thanks fellow yelpers for highlighting this establishment. Wonderful fresh made ice cream and reasonable prices. It's buried in a strip shopping center, but don't be afraid. I'll be back, I wish I lived closer.

  • Dean U.
