They have the $5 appetizers Monday-Friday and they gave you more than your fair share!! Food is great but the Customer Service is BEYOND awesome !! The place is a little (ok a lot) dated BUT it's clean and a friendly environment with people of all kind who like to enjoy food :0) The staff was awesome with my son (he's autistic and brought a friend who has ticks) and never acted like we were any different from any of the other customers! If I wasn't on the chubby side and my hubby wasn't diabetic I think we would be there more often , this is a great cozy spot!! Highly Recommended!!

I shouldn't even give one star. 45 min for apps. 1.5 hours for meal... Food wasn't even good. maybe good for seafood, but I'm not giving it another chance with their service...

I find myself torn on this review. I would give this restaurant 4 stars (within the context of SoMD) for lunches and dinners. It is reliable, consistent and the food is pretty good. We went for Sunday breakfast yesterday and it was atrocious. Every single order was wrong. Why didn't we send the food back? Because it took 45 minutes to get the first batch. Everyone who asked for scrambled eggs asked for the eggs to be soft. Not only were they not soft but they were hard and browned. The toast was warm bread, not even the hint of browning. Two of us in our party asked for eggs over easy, they came out like hockey pucks, well past over hard. There was only 3 parties in the restaurant when we were served, but the wait staff was flailing around like they had a full dining room with a line out the door. I'm not sure where the breakdowns were, but management should get involved post-haste. Like I said though, lunch and dinner are nearly a win. But avoid weekend breakfasts unless you want to be witness to crimes against food.

Place needs updating on furniture/style. The bar is ok. Food is ok but overpriced. It's just ok overall but overpriced for what your getting.

Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch / dinner. Sparse atmosphere and semi dated decor. We sat in the dining room and it was fairly loud. Service was quite good, friendly and fast. Food was served quickly and the few changes we requested were served up as ordered. So far so good... Now, the food comes and my tuna sandwich is fairly decent. My bread is toasted which was not requested, but it's otherwise fairly high quality tunafish and fresh. Fries were steak style and good. The wife's food was not so great. A small salad was decent and fresh but here entree chicken breast over rice was very, very overcooked. Furthermore it had a flavor which was reminiscant of must. Rice was below average and she described it as "gritty". Green beans were extremely overcooked and were not edible. All in all a mixed experience. But as the atmosphere is not very alluring either, we'll not be going back to give them a second chance.

I've been here a couple times at the new location and while the decor leaves something to be desired, I've never had a bad meal. Remember everybody, including restaurants, has an off day when you're writing your reviews.

It's too bad this place moved. In its old location, it was within walking distance of our bay house. Now we have to drive there, so we eat there a lot less. The new location is somewhat unusual in its decor (or lack thereof) and harsh lighting, so the ambiance is not nearly as appealing. But they still have all our favorites. I'm partial to the rib eye sandwich, the onion rings and Yuengling from the tap. The kids like the chicken fingers and fries. The bar staff is a little less friendly than they used to be. Overall, this was not a good change for them.

Great place especially for local convenience. Appetizers are all excellent and when they have happy hour most of them are half off. They also have happy hour during certain sporting events as well. Selection of beer is best in town and is always ice cold. Love the wings and stuffed jalepenos.

Very strange ambience - you walk in and there is open space. Almost don't know where to go. Was seated at the last table near a wall - similar to a hallway at the dining room on the right of the entrance. My bf got the steak sandwich and said it was good. The fries were steak fries and tasty. I had the crab soup but couldn't find any crab meat - yuck. The ice tea was home brewed and good. The waitress and hostess were very nice. No desire to go back.

Been here quite a few times, decent place for watching all sporting events, nice selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Appetizers and burgers are great, wings are the best in the area.

I really like this place. The food is good, the drink selection is good, and the service is great. Servers are all friendly and helpful. Order usually doesn't take too long and they have tv's everywhere for you to watch sporting events. The bar area is also nice and somewhat spacious and the tenders are always friendly and helpful. I like going here as often as I can, usually with my family

Was middle of the road food. Not great, but not bad either. I thought it was a bit pricey as well.

Good specials for football games... Food is pretty good. Will not be going back for dinner in the dining room... Awkward and sparse.... I prefer the bar side, the atmosphere is much better.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
