Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

One of my favorite pizza joints. The crab pizza is divine (all their pizza is good), and their sandwiches are delicious. Not to mention I'm addicted to their fries and gravy. I've recommended this place to people and they aren't ever disappointed.

I gotta story to tell ya. Like to hear it? Here it goes! I'm new to the area so on my first few days here I was pretty much scouting the area to see what it was working with food wise, and not only did it have a Cluck U, but it has a Pizza Bolis. Why did that mean anything to me, is probably your first question. I can only tell you that I lived in College Park for like 5 years, and as far as pizza was concerned Pizza Boli's had been the go to for delivery outside of D.P. Dough and Ratsies. Basically I liked the nastalgia of having the 2 so close. A few months go by and I finally decide to order out, and where do I end up ordering at? You guessed it Pizza Boli's! Now outside of them charging you for free delivery, which i've overlooked for years. The first delivery was on time, hot, and delicious. I ordered online, and the driver was on point. I was really impressed that he actually read my remark to call when he got outside, because I had a child asleep inside that I didn't want to be woke up by knocking, and he called when he was outside my house. Side Note: I am not the type of consumer who orders from a pizza joint, and expects fullly authentic italian cuisine. I am in no way looking for a masterpiece, but I would like to feel as if my money isn't going to a business that doesn't appreciate its patrons. Because honestly I choose to spend my money with them, I don't have to. Today was a busy day for me. I had been out of town for the last 4 days, and got in the huse to late to make dinner. So i'm thinking to myself what can I order for me and the kids, that will be good, but most importantly quick. "Bet! let me hit Pizza Boli's up they were pretty good last time" So I placed my order which was the double sub combo, and began waiting for my food. I was so satisfied with the first delivery that I put the tip on my credit card in advance (never again). I click on the live status monitor, and go back about my business. About 15 minutes go by nd its still on "Making" which means it's in the works, but hasn't left the building. That's cool though I live right down the street. 30 minutes go by and it's still on "making". Well surely it'll get here on time, they're cutting it close, but i'm not worried. 1 hour and 10 minutes go by, and i'm like okay let me call to see whats up. This is really where they lost me at. I call to the store, and a guy answers the phone and says... Phone Guy: "Hold On! "? What about "Good afternoon, you've reached Pizza Boli's. Can you please hold?". Whole time my order still says making. The guy comes back on the phone. Phone Guy: "Yeah, Hello?". I lodge my complaint. Phone Guy: The delivery guy has already left. "Click" At this point i'm ready to drive up there, and act out of my character. Because your treating me like i'm an idiot, and not like i'm spending my money here. You're also making an already bad experience even worse. Telling me that the guy had already left does nothing to answer how much longer will he be. Did he leave 10 minutes ago, and should be here any minute. Is there a hold up of some sort, and he just left so give him maybe 10 minutes (which is way more time then it takes to get to my house from Boli's ), and offer an apology for the hold up maybe? But no all I got was a vague answer, and hung up on. when the food arrives the delivery guy knocks on my door (though I requested he called). Then he looks confused, and starts asking me some crap about grub hub. I have no clue what dude is talking about, because I ordered my food right off of Pizza Boli's website. I have never used grub hub in my life, and wouldn't use it anyways for a place that is right down the street, that has free delivery that cost like $1.50. then. though my fod is already paid for he asked me to sign one of the stickers off of my sub, which i though was odd, and now i'm thinking they are gonna try to add an extra charge for the grub hub that I never used. What i was expecting was 2 cold, cold cut subs, but what I got was a 2 very warm sandwiches that had probably been in a bag full of hot foods for a long amount of time. At least for the 45 minutes, and change that it took to arrive at my house. That weren't very impressive for what is referred to as over stuffed, and I was charged for bacon that I did not receive on the sandwich. Overall I don't think I will be in a rush to return to Pizza Boli's. There are to many options in this area for me to accept the kind of service that I got tonight, and if I get charged extra on my card for some B/S. I won't be in a friendly mood when I go tell them about themselves. NEXT!!!!

I usually get decent food from here. Today I had a pizza delivered to me this evening. It was not sliced up. I called the manager and he said he was sending somebody over. I guess I was in the wrong for thinking another pizza was coming. Nope, they sent a guy with a pizza cutter. Pizza was cold by the time he got here and not fresh out of the oven. I called the manager and he did not have a problem with sending a guy to my house with a pizza cutter to slice up cold pizza for my family to eat. I am extremely disappointed with the managers handling of the situation. If there is anybody wondering if I have proof, yes I do. I took a picture and showed the guy who showed up to our house with a pizza cutter.

Customer service is horrible. They advertise free delivery but that is a lie.. they charge! Also, the delivery man forgot my drink and I had to call 4 times just for them to come back to my house. It took them 2 hours to drive literally .7miles down the road. The bread was too dough like (uncooked ) not worth it. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

Good food, pretty cheap prices, gets ready quick, service was alright, they gave us military discount because my friend was in Army and showed his ID...

The customer service in the store is horrible. Everyone is rude or just ignores you except for the bum inside the store asking for money. The pizza is average and the subs are below average. I would never eat here again.

Had a cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks delivered the other day. Delivery was extremely fast, and the reason this isn't a one star review. The food was horrible. The sandwich was soggy, the meat was poor quality, and the cheese was gross.

It was my first time eating the pizza here and it was pretty tasty, however the customer service is iffy. If I decide to have pizza or anything else from here I will physically go to the restaurant itself. First off, when I called I wanted a small veggie pizza but the guy on the phone said they don't have small pizzas. Fine, no problem, medium veggie pizza. I also ordered a cheesecake. I was told 35-40 minutes. It came about an hour later--still not that big of a deal. The guy gives me my pizza and I ask for red chile peppers. The guy says he doesn't carry any and that I need to order it with my pizza. The 'cheesecake' that I ordered is actually a gross Oreo cream cake? Yuck--where's the cheesecake? Needless to say that was not eaten. Anyway, pizza was delicious but it was lacking that red pepper kick. I'm giving this place 3 stars and am willing to try again:)

The food is okay and pretty cheap. However I've stopped coming here because orders are always missing items. The manager speaks horrible english and makes it not worth the trouble to get the missing items.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
