I love this local authentic Greek restaurant! In my opinion, this is the best Greek food in Gaithersburg, and possibly east MoCo. The gyros are the best you can get. The pita is fresh, soft, buttery, and fragrant. The vegetables are fresh, and tomatoes perfect. The Tzatziki sauce is cool, crisp, and balanced with spice. And the meat. That meat! Hot, tender, juicy, and so much of it! The only problem you will have is eating it - it is huge - I dare you to eat it with out spilling contents out of it and making a mess of your face. The chicken souvlaki platter is a great lunchtime meal; plenty of food and the chicken is always fresh and fragrant. If you feel like something very hearty, I recommend their moussaka. Give it a try! Do NOT miss the dolmades. I would go just for these treats! Everything is baked fresh daily, by the same Greek family. Do not miss this place. Just don't go on Sunday, because they are closed. Enjoy!
The food here was just ok. I ordered the lamb souvlaki platter, which includes a heaping pile of salad, fries, and pita, and one small skewer of lamb kebab. The lamb kebab was actually pretty good, I just wish there was more of it and less of everything else (see photo). For dessert we got the peach pastry, which looks delicious but was kind of average (see photo). The reason for knocking this review down from 3 to 2 stars is the owner's attitude. My friends and I bought our meals, and sat and talked for a bit afterwards. At some point the owner comes out and asks us if we need anything else. Then he tells us he needs this table - very poor taste for any restaurant owner. Having this one table is worth losing customers? You can have it. 2 stars.
If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. A friend brought us Athen's Grill a few weeks ago and we loved it so I decided to stop in and pick up food tonight. Ugh that was a mistake! After feeling like the chicken texture was funny I cut into a piece and it was pink in the center. I continued to cut and my kabob was raw in the center. Not only is this gross but it's totally unacceptable. 3 people ate some of the chicken and I am praying no one gets sick. Called the restaurant and drove back 20 minutes. The owner was nice and refunded the kabobs but I wish he could have refunded it over the phone as I paid with a credit card and had to drive back the food they didn't cook. So we ate undercooked chicken, drove out of our way and now we are hoping we don't get salmonella. Not happy at all.

Did I miss something? Having spent the first 20 years of my life as an expatriate, there were certain things I missed out on, having not grown up in these United States. One was Little Caesars. I was familiar with the old slogan ("Pizza! Pizza!") and the little toga dude. I have had friends raving about the pizza chain with the little toga guy yelling about pizza (and having to repeat himself.) Over the past decade, I've tasted every pizza from every pizza chain that has dared to rear it's head in the DC area. Pizza Hut, CPK, Ledo's, Papa John's, Uno's, Domino's..and so fourth. But Little Caesars? Never had it. They've never been here. Shame on them. But a few months ago, they opened up a location across from Lakeforest Mall (and coincidentally a 5 minute walk from my man-cave). So I decided to give it a shot. Due to the stripped down business model (they don't have ANY tables to sit down and nosh at) and the brevity of my visit (a mere minute) I can only comment on the pepperoni pizza I ordered and carried home. As you might already have figured, they don't deliver. I've had better. Much better. It is an entirely uninspiring pizza. I am craving a Ledo's pineapple and ham right now (but they don't deliver either...yet *rubs hands together menacingly*) This is the pizza equivalent of Jennifer Aniston. Homely, boring and plain but it had enough moments in it's youth to still inspire devotion. The brevity of the menu (crazy bread, pizza and wings) also doesn't inspire an adventurous eater like me to make frequent visits. "Oh, I had the pepperoni last week...I think I'll have...a CHEESE pizza today!" Meh. I still don't get it.
Pizza ! Pizza! Its been a while since I have been to Little Caesars, mostly because they use to be in all the K-Marts, and they probably got roughed up by the invasion and expansion of the B.I.G. POPPA John. They are back, and now it seems instead of "PIZZA! PIZZA!", their strategy is more "FAST PIZZA!" They now practice the JUST IN TIME Inventory method (business majors. holla) and always have a large cheese or pepperoni available fresh out of the oven available for $5. They also do the same with their crazy bread for 2.50, and chicken wings for $5 (not sure the amount of wings) You will be in and out of the place in less than 1 minute. You go in tell them pepperoni or cheese, they give you one coming out fresh, and you slap down $5 and some change for uncle sam, and walk off with your pizza. Its faster than ordering from Mickey Ds. While their pizza is not the best pizza, its really hard to make BAD PIZZA. That and on top of the childhood memories of getting Little Caesars, this pizza was awesome. Since they are so fast in filling their order, and right outside my neighborhood, I can see myself hitting up Little Caesars frequently.
Awwww snap! Little ceasers is amazing. Large cheese or pepperoni for $5 is even better than subway's $5 footlong.

Very good pizza, always cooked to perfection. The salads are a good portion, and the appetizers are amazing! My favorite is the bacon cheese fries. Delicious! This is a seat yourself location, usually not to busy inside.
Everyone brags about Ledo's Pizza so tonight I had to give em' a try. I must say I'm impressed!! The sauce is sweet but still makes for a good pizza! I look forward to trying there wings and subs.
I tried the buffalo chicken & white florentine calzones today. I enjoyed both! Again the service was good

Long wait, but love the food! I got the tamales, and pupusas (pork, bean and cheese, zucchini, and loroco).
My friends and I LOVE coming here for some pupusas!! Their prices are super reasonable and I always leave content with a full stomach. Their pupusas are delicious! I usually order a cheese pupusa and a vegetable pupusa. They are very helpful and patient with me whenever I try to order something, especially since I'm not so familiar with El Salvadoran food and the Spanish language. I try to come here whenever I need a quick and fulfilling bite to eat!
Great Pupusas made on the spot!!

What do you get when you're the only white people in a restaurant full of Central Americans? Damn good food that's what. Yucca was delicious - crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not too greasy. Fajitas were well seasoned and the steak on them was so tender and juicy! The atmosphere is very simple and the service not amazing, but I'm glad I live nearby. Oh yeah and loved the guacamole too.
Delicious Salvadorean, Guatemalan and Mexican food! I had a T-bone steak, and it was served over a bed of grilled onions and peppers. It was very tasty, but the steak was thin and a little tough.
Honestly this is the BEST Latino food joint around. Good price, AMAZING authentic food, and service is on point. If you don't eat here and you want some real food, your wrong!

Employees were really friendly and efficient while having a long line .. I never seen a subway work so fast like this one
I loved this place throughout high school and through college then up until 2011. I left for grad school at that time. This place was clean and the employees were amazing back then. I would not have dreamed of going to another Subway at the time. The employees knew who I was and would start working on my subs if they saw me walking to the store from the parking lot. Now, it is 2015 and it has degraded a bit - sadly. It is not as clean as before and the employees are not that upbeat as before. It is understandble as time went by, but as someone who has seen the beginning to what it is now is a bit disappointing. However, I can say that the subs are the same! The food does not really change - just how the subs are made. The subs are still made well - compared to this one subway in DC where they threw the toppings into the sub like it was a pitching range. I do miss the old times.
I went there today with my 3 kids, who love Subway. We have 4 other locations to compare to this one. They were super busy for 1 pm on a Sunday, but then I came to realize that the worker on the line was super slow... Not great at listening, not concerned, and flaky. Worker at the register was speedy but overwhelmed with a growing line of customers and complaints from others about a broken ice machine and all while trying to deal with a water leak. They were significantly understaffed and the owner needs to do some checking in. The lack of care will likely make me and my kids find a better Subway.

Very good food. Ready in 10 minutes. Great portions. Very good drinks, they have home made teas and lemonade. Soft drinks as well. Chinese food, subs, sandwiches. Fries, burgers and chicken nuggets. Reasonable prices!!
Love the chicken wings at this place. I haven't tasted anything else from Eddies. But the chicken wings with mambo sauce is good. I will eventually try other items and edit this review. But for now...did I say the wings are great1
A lot of food for the price. Pretty good taste. I'll go there when it's late - it's open past other Monkey Village chinese places.

I was looking for a Mexican place near the office, and found this inexpensive restaurant, with tasty food and a wide selection of entrees. Although I took the food as takeout, when I and the others ate it reheated, it was still delicious. I had the Ropa and the others really loved their enchiladas and Burrito Especiale. And you can't beat the price. I'll be a regular.
Food was your average Mexican. Located in a dive shopping center across the street from the bus depot. About $20 for two people.
A most pleasant meal for a great price (under $10!) And the wait staff checked on my happiness and satisfaction at least six times. The meal of spicy shredded beef, cilantro rice, black beans, corn tortillas, salsa, corn chips, fried plantains and margarita was great. Spicy sauce that was just hot enough to make me pause and check how much water I had left in my glass (answer: plenty), but not so hot that I stopped dipping the tortilla into the salsa. The beef was good and tender and tasty. The corn tortillas were fresh and served hot. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated. (See picture). The waitress tells me that it's packed on DJ night and karaoke night . I plan to return to see in person.

The Village Cafe

Reviews:
Overall, the Village Café on Montgomery Village Avenue seems to have a high energy level with a core group of regulars. The service was sufficient with two bartenders who also served food. Unfortunately the bathrooms were not very clean, so the ladies avoided the facilities, but the value for a bottle of beer or draught was excellent at $3.00 each. Keno is the main focus besides conversation, and the TV's hailed from 1978. While we definitely felt like outsiders at someone's private event where almost all the regulars knew each other, we still might make a return trip for the pizza we saw carried to a table.
Wow. Looks are deceiving. When I walked in I wanted to turn around. Restaurant was empty but the bar was crowded with a lot of drunks. Just felt dirty being there. But after initial shock was happy to be greeted by friendly waitress and fast service. And the food was amazing and what a large amount for the price. All In all looks not so great food makes up for it
Great food, large portions, excellent service. This is my go to for good old fashioned comfort food.

Love their chocolate chip bagel! A little pricy for bagels. Good variety of salads, soups and sandwiches.
The Montgomery Village Einstein Bros Bagels is going downhill fast. I waited 20 minutes and my order was missing two sandwiches that I ordered. The person making the food asked to see my receipt when I told her I didn't get two sandwiches that I ordered. The MV Einstein is one of the only places around MV ave to get a quick bite but in actuality it is not quick and the service is so slow. The workers there are not working as a team and they don't seem to care about customer service. I feel this location is outdated as is much of the shopping center. This restaurant is very inefficient. Save yourself some trouble and go to Panera on 355 or the one in Germantown near Wegmans.
Before today I would have given this Einstein's Bagels a rating of 5 stars, but today when I stopped in to get my usual hummus veggie sandwich on a challah roll, they told me they no longer will be selling the challah rolls!!! What??? I've been getting the same sandwich for years and sometimes, late in the day, I would have to get my sandwich on a bagel when they had no challah rolls left that day -- just NOT the same! Not at all as good as it was on a challah roll! PLEASE bring back the challah roll!!
