The blueberry bread pudding was absolutely delicious. The stratta that I got was also wonderful. The portions were HUGE, the prices were a little expensive. I went on Sunday before I went to church around 10:15 and ordered several things to go and the place was busy. There was only 1 server who was handling all of the tables and the walk in business. The owner floated around but didn't say hello to me (she talked to every other table) and didn't seem concerned with the slow service or really helping out. Overall opinion: great food, but don't plan to be in and out in a hurry.

Thank you Yelp! Randomy found The Buzz on Yelp, looking for a copy shop around Urbana. I stopped in and found heaven! I had the Born In The United States Of Pig Strata with a side Red White and Blue salad was awesome! Love, love, this place.

On the outside, The Buzz looks like a little bakery store run by a little old lady. BUT when you go in, you see an amazing assortment of brownies, cookies, bread pudding and pastries. What to order? It doesn't matter because anything you order will be homemade and amazingly delicious. The owner is usually in the back baking. I have also ordered catering from here and everything has been exceptional. The breakfast sandwiches are big and tasty. The salads are marvelous. The sandwiches are also amazing. I have not had the soups yet but hope to soon. But the brownies... Truly delicious and all homemade. This is another one of the jewels in our lovely area in Frederick.

The Buzz "Three strikes you're out!" Three times I've been to the buzz and have been disappointed. First, ordered cupcakes, very dry! Second, placed a takeout order and it was wrong, and third, made a special order for scones and it was also wrong. Tried to get the attention of the management via personal trip to complain, via telephone, and finally via email had have heard nothing. So much for customer service. Still looking for a good bakery in Frederick.

This place is awesome! Great food, great service and very close to the Villages of Urbana. Highly, highly recommend the Trailer Hash when its on the menu.

I have never been here, but have eaten food that was provided by the catering service multiple times. It's always delicious! Rumor is that the chef used to be Ralph Lauren's private chef in New York City, but got tired of the city life and moved to the country. Lucky for us!

Average for sure. Seating inside only. Food is a bit pricey, with no real vegetarian options... so if you get an egg sandwich without meat you'll still pay the price as if it had meat on it. Coffers was good though, service too.

Came here yesterday as we were cruising through. We were hungry and I'd heard so many great things, so we stopped in. It's a very unassuming little place in a strip mall. When you walk in it feels cozy and fun. Everyone is friendly. I got the flatbread sandwich and it was so good. I wish I had enough room left to get one of their incredible looking desserts! Guess we will have to come back!

Poor service...the cashier made a racist comment pretty much as soon as I walked in the door and he also made an inappropriate comment about another employee's breasts (racism and sexual harassment) Food was poor...ordered the sausage potato and cheese bake because they ran out of bacon and sausage (what kind of breakfast place runs out of bacon and sausage at 11 am?)....sausage bake came out and was cold meaning that it is frozen and reheated for every order...why wouldn't you at least reheat it correctly? (Cold food) Definitely will never be returning here...if not for the lack of quality food, then for the fact that diversity is not welcome...I guess that's only to be expected at a place in such a small rural town (terrible establishment) I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Did not like their coffee. I can't speak for their food but the flavored latte I had was not good. While in town visiting family I was in the mood for coffee and wanted to try a local place that wasn't a corporate chain coffee shop. I found The Buzz on Yelp. Stopped by & ordered the Butter Rum Latte. Was not good, had an odd taste, too much foam, kind of bitter & not sweet enough. Would not stop @ The Buzz again for coffee.

Fantastic food. A bit pricey but always very very good. If you want some original food for lunch or breakfast try them. Fantastic deserts.

I have visited this charming little place twice now and both times the entire experience was stellar. To start the minute you walk in you get the vibe of a country chic cafe. It's mismatched tables and vintage inspired decor sets the tone for the meal. We chose a seat outside on our first visit but one wasn't available on the second. Both times though the service was friendly, fast, and warm. The menu changes often (weekly?) with really fun menu item names. The first time I ordered a BLT frittata and my fiancé got The Buzz version of a traditional Benedict both were served with a fresh fruit medley and both plates were scraped clean. On our next visit I ordered a meat strata and he got strawberry Nutella crapes. Once again the food was without fault. The coffee that's served is velvety smooth and nutty--just a really nice morning treat. As far as other treats go we've kept our willpower and haven't tried any of the assorted baked goods at the front. The food is scrumptious, the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable and the service is prompt and warm.

Very friendly staff, cute sayings all around and the food was excellent. Would go back in a heartbeat! We had breakfast and a pastry. All the food coming out looked great.

Last time I went my turkey panini was great! I met there with a friend to have some girl time and it was pleasant. The staff is nice. However, only downside for me is that some of the desserts and potato salad to take home was too pricey(maybe they use the best ingredients) and the chocolate brownie was hard like a rock. My husband loved the lemon square I brought for him.

Pretty cool little local place to grab some coffee and decent food in a cozy atmosphere. The staff, and who I assume to be owners, are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is good but the flavored coffee was overdone and had way too much flavoring. The food had solid portion sizes and you will not leave there hungry. The food was pretty good and something different, which is never a bad thing.

I love this place! The food is fantastic. The scones are legend. The service is great. The place is small and food is made to order. Sip some coffee and relax, it's worth the wait.

You know what I love most about Yelp? Finding places like The Buzz in the middle of nowhere. I would never, ever have known about it - and I was desperate for a place to eat at 8 a.m.! The Buzz gave me a home-cooked, absolutely DELICIOUS breakfast that I wanted to shovel into my mouth quickly - but didn't, because I also wanted to savor every bite. Very, very good food - and while I live far away, I WILL go back whenever I'm nearby. Prices are reasonable, service is very, VERY friendly, and the place is really cool to admire while you're there, too. Thanks, Yelp!

Yummy. Friendly. Having a hard time only picking one pastry to take home. Every time I stay in the area, I make sure to stop by!

Walked in and were greeted immediately by a friendly staff. One gentleman looked up and said to my husband, "You look like the kind of man who could go for a chocolate chip bacon scone." We tried it and loved it. Their coffee is really good too. I had a butter rum latte. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

I used Yelp! to search for a local bakery to get a birthday cake for my mom. I called The Buzz and talked to Minda who gave me a few ideas as to what she could do. After viewing the cake options on-line I called back to order the Oreo Cookie cake which she said was amazing. First off the service was very friendly and I was impressed that I could get a made-to-order cake within 24 hours. Second, the price of the cake was very reasonable. Last, as Minda stated the cake was AMAZING. The place isn't just a bakery. They are a cafe that seems to have yummy looking food thats fresh using local ingredients. I'll have to try it out some time. I also can't wait for the next family birthday to try some other cake options she had (s'mores? yes, please).

This place is really as good as it gets. While the space is small and the shopping center is less than attractive, their food more than makes up for it. I love that they rotate their menu items on a weekly basis. I've never ordered something here that I didn't like. Today it was a panini with roast beef, caramelized onions, mushrooms and swiss cheese with a side of the best horseradish sauce I've ever had. Their menu says the paninis come with a side of chips "unless we change our mind and decide to make potato salad instead." I'm so glad they changed their mind today because the potato salad was also some of the best I've ever had. The desserts are RIDICULOUSLY GOOD and so original. I believe they are all homemade. Today was the Kentucky Derby - a layer of pecan pie bar topped with rich, moist brownie. Also got the s'mores bar - best treat ever. The marshmallows were perfectly gooey and somehow they managed to keep the chocolate chunks from melting entirely, which I loved. I only wish the prices weren't so high and the portions so small. The roast beef panini above was something like $11 with just a small scoop of the potato salad. But the flavors at this local treasure are so good that you don't even mind paying so much.

Great spot with some amazing breakfast food, great pastry, superior service and solid coffee. Really happy to have found it. Doesn't look like much from the outside because it's next to a 7-Eleven in a strip mall, but you definitely want to stop by Buzz and check it out - I dare you not to have at least one thing as soon as you step in.

Where do I start. Crappy food and everything I get has hair in it. The only thing that tastes remotely good is there bottled water. The "bakery treats" are stale, and dry. They could pass for cardboard. Seriously don't go here. If you want better food, go to McDonald's.

This little bakery is a local gem. Grabbed some baked goods to go a few times and bought some birthday cakes. The cakes like all items are amazing and of the highest quality and ingredients.

Service is usually good and the food is almost always spot-on. The one time it fell a bit short was the last time we came here (right before Christmas so they were busy with lots of groups and catering orders) when the side salad I ordered consisted of some wilted/rotten greens. Otherwise, everything else I've had here during the 3+ times I've been here has been simply delicious. Still a regular brunch spot during our visits to MD.

Had breakfast here that was very good. Their tater tot trailer hash had some really smart things going on. Tough to give me something I haven't had before, and they did it really well. I also got to try their breakfast strata and a crab meat fritatta - both very good. Fresh fruit was best quality you can get. Didn't get to have pastries yet -but they looked amazing. Friendly service too. Would give an extra half star if I could - only thing keeping it under a 5 was that they seemed to get a little frazzled as a rush came and took awhile to get us our check. But we will definitely be back!

Food is so good, espresso is so bad. They've hit it out of the park with the grub every time I've eaten here, but they are in dire need of help from Lavazza or a coffee consultant, etc..

Awesome place and awesome service! Been there for breakfast - fantastic! Have ordered sandwich and other platters - wonderful! And don't get me started about the baked goods - to die for!

This is a nice quiet little place that must be one of Damascus's best kept secrets! Their menu is full of freshly cooked items that are made with love. The past two times I've gone I've gotten the fritatta bake with sliced potatoes, ham, cheese, and some kind of creamy milk sauce. It was to die for, just all the flavors working together was amazing. Their selection of different flavored coffees is pretty extensive and are very rich. The people who work their are super friendly and laid back. I do think it's pretty funny that it is called the Buzz and a lot of the menu items are named with slight references to the mary jane, kind of makes me wonder haha. Either way this place is great in my book.

Minda always has an original menu each week. The sandwiches are just the right size...BIG and tasty. Now on to Desserts. The scones are made fresh here as are the brownies. In fact everything is made fresh here. Lotsa varietiy as far as brownie flavors and scones go. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. Friendly people staffing the place. Minda caters also. SHE MADE MY BROWNIE BITE WEDDING CAKE:)

We stopped in early Sunday to get some breakfast this time. Started out with the cinnamon bun which If you don't get in there by 8:30am they will be gone. They only make them on the weekends. I had the trailer hash which seems to be popular with some of the other yelpers. It has a great taste but here is the reason for the 4 stars and not the 5. I think they should use some fresh hash instead of the tater tots. It would compliment the freshness of everything else they do. The French toast was great and the flavor on them separates them from a typical boring French toast. Overall the menu is unique and always changing. That alone with keep me coming back. I agree with one of the other post, if this place was in Baltimore they would make a killing. I am glad they are in the area but I just don't see myself breaking my neck to get to this place if I wasn't local.

The mere existence of this in this location gets this about a star more than it might if it were in Baltimore. I stopped in yesterday to order a few things to go and can tell you I'd love to go back and dine in sometime. I was with my 20 month old niece and it was about 20 minutes past her nap time. I barely looked at the menu. I looked for yummy keywords like "crab melt" and "shredded pork." I loved the crab melt but the pork burrito was not my favorite. I'm not a burrito fan to begin with but as I said, I wasn't in top ordering form. Also picked out a few baked goods and they were all really good. No, I didn't eat all of them but I did sample each one. (Hey, I paid for it so I can taste all of them!) It definitely took a decent amount of time but I didn't think it was overly long for hot meals. I don't live in this area but am out there for weekends at a time and this has been my best find there and I'd love to go back when I don't have a sleepy toddler with me. But, I certainly am not driving from Baltimore just to visit. Loved the "everybody must get sconed" tshirts. Saw those and understood why it's called The Buzz. :)

I went today after work nearby and had an iced coffee which was great and a rasp/blackberry scone with icing and it was DELISH!!!! the icing was lemon so it was sweet and tangy and the scone had whole berries in it, super fresh and soft. I wish I had known about this place sooner so I could have been going all the time! they had so many other tasty looking treats, I wish I had room to try more!

Yep, this place is pretty awesome. I found it completely by accident when Bartholows road was closed and I had to detour around to Lynn Burke. Now, I stop by every Sunday on my way to the horse farm where I volunteer. I haven't had all their food, but it certainly looks awesome. I can vouch for their bagels and cream cheese, the berry scones and the coffee. All are delicious, and I get all 3 each Sunday. Very friendly folks and good prices.

Great selection of brownies with EXCELLENT buttercream frosting. Really good baguettes - sourdough bread is awesome too. I've only used the take-out counter, but the menu looks really good. I think the counter staff could be a little friendlier - not a lot of smiling going on, but maybe that's because I tend to get there later in the day and they're ready to go home :) Must try it!

Scones, scones scones! Triple berry is the best. Staff are always helpful and pleasant. Breakfast/brunch is plentiful - go hungry because portions are generous. One of the hidden jewels in Green Valley. In warmer weather you can sit out front and enjoy you beverage or meal. Worth the trip - seriously.

I've been enjoying The Buzz for years now! I eat breakfast/brunch/lunch there at least twice a month and have never had a bad meal. All the sandwiches are delicious and the salads are creative and very tasty. I'm not a 'sweets' person but I can never resist the 3 levels of brownies, cookies, cakes and cake pops that are beautifully displayed every day. I have enjoyed almost every treat I've gotten there! I ordered cake pops for my daughters birthday last year and they were GORGEOUS and all the kids seemed to love them! The staff at The Buzz is very friendly and willing to accommodate your dietary requests and needs.
