Well, if you just want to hang out and have a beverage by the water the outdoor bar area is cool. But if you want to dine in forget about it. Seriously bad service.... and WAY over priced food. Three bartenders stood with their backs to the bar chatting it up while I waited for them to notice me. Finally one smiled and greeted me and I asked for a menu. Then that was it. Not a single bartender or staffmember came back to see if I wanted to order. I gave them about ten minutes and 20 walk by's before I gave up and walked out. We visited here before to dine in and the food was ok. It was not great, and was not worth the money they charge... although it smelled yummy inside.. ( I am a huge MD crab fan and the inside smells like steamed crab heaven)... However, I won't return to dine in... I will go back to enjoy the waterside bar and the good company. Its a well known watering hole for those who ride the iron horse, and that is the ONLY reason I'll go back. And beware... if you give them a card to "run a tab" they swipe it and it puts a "hold" on your funds for up to 25 bucks.

This is a very beautiful restaurant and hang out place right on the water. The prices range from cheap to expensive depending on what you order. Perfect for me. :-) :-) the waitresses are also cute but ours provided terrible service. Thank heaven that there was a live band and cheap beer. :-D :-D I'm coming back!

This place is the perfect Maryland crab house. I have been to Sea Breeze several times and I have never been disappointed. The crab and oysters are awesome. I moved from Maryland in 1979. I know love in Wisconsin so when I come back to visit my sister, I always make it a point to go to Sea Breeze to eat those tasty blues I so miss. This is the place that all the locals go. During the summer they open up the tiki bar outside. They regularly have live band that rock the place. This year I attended the Halloween costume party and contest. It was a blast and the band rocked.

This place is horrific. It has two profiles on help and both show how bad they are. Avoid this place at all cost. DC folks, just get frozen crab from trader joe's. They are much better. Not to mention the rudeness of the owners and some "blond" from behind the bar. Spend you dollars elsewhere. Rude bar staff and generally unwelcoming after an hour wait.

Truly horrible. Came here for a day trip from DC wanting to pick crabs on the water. We should have walked away after 5 min because as we arrived, they were arresting some fellow in the parking lot, and there was something akin to a Harley Davidson convention going on. Kind of a rough place. But, we wanted the southern Maryland crab experience. After an hour wait for an outdoor table so we could eat with our dog (which we did gladly because it's a crab house in summertime), we get to our table and some lady (and I use this term loosely) comes over from the bar (adjacent to the restaurant) and says they don't allow dogs and we have to leave. We explained we had been waiting an HOUR just for this table and that all the hostess/waitresses knew we were waiting for a table with our dog. She said "I don't know about that, but you can't stay here." By the way, they only have 2- yes, two- outdoor tables. We got up and again expressed our frustration only to have her get an attitude with us! This may sound snotty, but what did you expect from a woman who keep her cigarettes in her bra? Do not waste your time on this place. Go next door to the Sandgate Inn. We went there right after our experience here and they could not have been nicer. Much friendlier and decent clientele as well. And no, I don't work or have any friends or family who work at the Sandgate. Just our experience from a day in So. MD.

The interior leaves a bit to be desired -- but it's a crab house, and that's what they are like. The crabs were great -- hot, heavy, covered in kosher salt flakes. Perfection. They use JO seasoning here though, not Old Bay...which is fine, but I dont prefer it. Biggest issue? Their crab cake was a really sad excuse for a Maryland crab cake. Barely edible. Filler meat. Seemed like a previously frozen kind. They would be better served increasing the price by 1 or 2 dollars of the crab cake and actually making a legitimate Maryland lump crab cake. I would never bring someone from out of town to try it to show them what crab cakes are like. Not good. The tiki bar area outside is very cool and the wait staff was great.

The perfect Maryland crab house. Throw a dozen Old Bay coated blues on the brown paper-lined table and crack away. The also serve non-crab dishes, but why would you want anything else? Cold beer, other seafood, fried foods, chicken, etc also available. This is a t-shirt and flip-flop place. Tie your boat up on their pier and just walk right in. My friends and family gather here at least once a year for a big crab feast. Hot spot for locals and if you're a tourist in the area, coming here will give you the perfect MD crab experience!

Not a lot of healthy options here. The cream of crab soup didn't have very much crab and the softshell crab sandwhich had way too much breading. Decent food with a great view, but for the price I'd go elsewhere. Great view from the crab deck though.

I went to this restaurant last Friday night with my wife and her mother for dinner. the rock fish my wife and I ordered was terrible, dry and with no taste, the green beans were not fresh and had to be from a can the baked potato was the only good part of the meal. My mother-in-law ordered the swampy basket and it looked like a basket of deep fried fish items but she said it was ok. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the excellent service of our waitress Abby. There are a lot of very good seafood restaurants in Maryland but this is not one of them.
