We came here after reading reviews and because it was closest to where we were. The store is clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Flavors always change, which I like because I never know what I will order. All I know is that at Rita's anything you will get is awesome. Last night I had a mango gelati. Today I had coconut cream ice. They were both delightfully refreshing. By the way, Happy Garden next door is a hidden treasure. Try it!!

I was hoping to get a swirl custard but due to egg shortage this location is serving ice cream instead! I tried the flavored gelati which wasn't bad by any means but it reminds me of a slurpee. This location has a nice store and a good selection of flavors and are open til 1000pm which is great for the summer.

If you have never been, go. Natural and fat free. With a plethora of flavors from traditional's: strawberry, lemon, watermelon to seasonal flavors: mango, Swedish fish, cookies and cream and my favorite traditional chocolate. It's worth a visit and the gelatos are a creamy goodness.

I love Rita's and this particular location has super friendly staff. Got the wild black cherry today and it was amazing. Excellent flavor with bits of cherry in it. This ice is super smooth too. Can't ask for anything more.

I'm no Italian Ice gourmet by any means, but I do enjoy a cool treat from time to time when the weather turns warm. This location is near my office so we occassionally will make a group order. Orders are accepted by fax which is nice.

This is my absolute favorite Rita's location! Because it's an indoor store, they have way more flavors than the outside ones where you just walk up to the window. The average walk-up store carries 6 to 8 flavors, whereas the Linthicum store routinely has 15+ different flavors of ice/cream ice plus four of custard! There's also plenty of seating inside the air-conditioned (heated) store if it's just too hot and humid (cold and windy) to eat outside. The staff are always very friendly and willing to let you sample any flavor, and there does not appear to be a lot of turnover. Every time I go, I see the manager working the counter along with the rest of the staff! They always run a buy 3 quarts get 1 free special, which is a great deal. The store also hands out coupons, has daily specials, participates in the mobile loyalty app where you can earn a free ice (it's basically an electronic punchcard so you don't have to carry a paper card in your wallet), and often holds special discount days. In 2013, they had a "Luau Day" to celebrate the launch of one of their new tropical flavors, and if you came in wearing any kind of luau gear, you got a discount! My friend and I went in with plastic leis and Hawaiian shirts, and the staff even took our picture! =-) As we were leaving, we saw that the next group had dressed up their dog too! So not only were we happy about our gelatis, but everyone was also having a fun time! This store also happens to be next to a locally famous oddity: the house with the goats! There is a house adjacent to the shopping center parking lot that keeps goats, geese, and chickens in their backyard with all manner of picnic tables, fallen trees, and even a sliding board for them to climb and perch on! Every summer you see lined up at the fence the wide-eyed little kids with their cups of Rita's ice, watching and pointing at the goats! Even as an adult, I enjoy the novelty of checking out the "wildlife" while sitting outside on a hot summer day enjoying my Italian ice! Another great thing about this store is that they're only closed from mid-November to mid-February (they close slightly later and open slightly earlier than other area stores). There are a few year-round Rita's locations out there, but they are few and far between. The Linthicum store is close enough to being year-round that the buy 3 quarts get 1 free special can hold you over until they're open again! Some of my favorite ice flavors that are standards at the Linthicum store are chocolate peanut butter, wild black cherry, dulce de leche, Swedish fish, and Alex's lemonade. And, in case you don't know, you can get more than one flavor of ice in a cup! (I just found out last summer!) So if you can't decide, get both!
