Tried it out because they deliver. Worst Chinese food in the area that I have had. Got the Sesame Chicken......Fried Chicken wings..........Rice with Shrimp,Chicken, beef. The meat was old and was not fresh. I also ordered the Garlic Broccoli, which was the only good item that I enjoyed. Needles to say I will not be going back. I completely forgot to Yelp hem for a review....had I done so I would not have spent my money!!!

Ordered Chicken wings for delivery. When received they were burnt, black to a crisp. When trying to call back to receive another order of wings I was told that my wings weren't burnt and they were good wings. Granted they may have been but I did not want burnt wings. Which I clearly stated, after asking multiple times for new wings I was hung up on. I tried to call back even asking for a manager or a person in charge but I was told there was not one and hung up on yet again. If you are in the area looking for Chinese take your business to Kuki or Hot Wok. Much better service and food.

Not the most amazing tasting Chinese, but it was good and filled my empty belly. The lady was very nice and cooked up my Szechuan chicken in about 5 minutes. Portion was gigantic for one person. I had mine for take-away.

Reasonably priced and tasty Chinese with a great selection to choose from including healthy steamed foods. Dependable delivery if you are staying on any of the hotels around BWI with the food arriving piping hot and within 30 minutes.

I have to be honest, I was not impressed. The lo Mein was dry and the wonton soup was too oily. The pu pu platter wasn't bad though. The prices were a little bit lower than the place we normally order from so, that's a plus. Also, had to bump the rating up to a three from a two just for speedy delivery.

Wanna get a bang for your buck? Come to Ocean Chinese. If you are in the area, especially during lunch time, I would make at least one trip here. I mention lunch because of the good value, money and quality wise, you can receive. For example, I have ordered the Chicken Chow Mein ($4.75 lunch portion) and the Pepper Steak w/ Onions (same price) on separate occasions. Both times, the amount of food that I got was too much to overcome. I think the lunch portions that you get from here can definitely hold over a hungry hippo, or an esurient elephant. The food is definitely good overall. I was a fan more of the Pepper Steak than I was of the Chicken Chow Mein. Also forgot to mention that the lunch specials come with either soup (Wonton, Egg Drop, or Hot & Sour) or canned soda. There are tables within the restaurant if you feel like gnawing on your food immediately. You'll pretty much want to once you smell the food coming your direction. I'll be planning some more visits here in the future.

I appreciate that they delivered to the Wingate at Wyndam. However, the food was nothing special. You do get generous portions, but it's not good enough to eat it all. So that makes it kind of a wash. It was very cheap, though.

I have a back-log of *good* reviews, so why bother here? To give others a heads-up: I never before have had bland "Szechuan"-style food, at least in my memory. Perhaps I have growing up in suburbia Florida, but I've flushed that in more ways than one. Delivery to my BWI-ish hotel was prompt, copious, and not too expensive. Upon delivery, my nose warned. Or rather didn't. I bit my tongue, in a way. The delivery guy was earnest. But he must have known how the food he had carried didn't smell quite right. As with all food I've experienced in this area, there was little to no flavor. Szechuan-style beef, egg rolls, fried rice... I swear people must have their taste buds excised at an early age up here. This area's not too far from flavor, but it's far enough not to deliver. I could find little difference between this "Szechuan"-style beef, "Maryland crab cakes," and cardboard. Yes. I was at a hotel. And I'm obviously not only white but downright pasty. And desperate for some Asian. Perhaps another agen.. err... restaurant could have delivered the desired spice. Given my experience, not so much. So overall Ocean seems ok if you need grub after a flight and don't want to experience the gastrointestinal delight that is an uninterested Chili's or Bob Evan's. If you want Chinese food? Not so much. "Fajitas" are about the same. But they did deliver on-time and within the quoted price, and I must recognize that.

Great food! We stayed at the BWI Hilton for a wedding recently. We were pressed for time and starving! We called in our order and and was told it would be delivered to our hotel room in 20 minutes. They arrived in 17 minutes. Awesome food with very reasonable prices. Egg rolls, hot and sour soup, pork fried rice, and chicken with snow peas all for under $14!

This is the best Chinese food in the area. We have tried several of the local etablishments around BWI/Glen Burnie, and so far this is definitely the best. I didn't even realize I liked some Chinese dishes until I ate them from here! Nothing from here tastes stale/old, and of course, the Lunch/Dinner Combinations are awesome deals. A lot of the dishes/appetizers are fried, but they said they would alter the cooking method by request.

I have been looking for a good take out place for a long time. The take out around me is always too sweet or too salty. I had the Pu Pu platter, the chicken chow mien and spicy beef. It was all good! I wish they were closer to home. The only time I get it is on my way home from work.

I am in the area for training and was looking for something quick to eat. I found that the food was average. I wouldn't rush out to get more food from this place unless I was really short on cash. That's where this really accelerates - their prices were dirt cheap. The food prep was extremely quick, of course I ordered an American staple - General Tso's Chicken. Do NOT bring a date or anyone you're trying to impress to this place. The decor is miserable. It made me want to cry.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
