T.G.I. Friday’s Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Service is sooooo slow. Not a busy night and it took over 10 minutes for the waiter to even come by. Drink order was wrong, delivered late. I can only imagine about the food??? Well it arrived, buffalo wings were good but the chicken and shrimp were not. The chicken was thin and dry and the shrimp tasted like they were old - you couldn't even separate the tail cover from the shrimp. Go to the Silver Dinner next door you will probably have a better meal and experience.

The service was horrible from start to finish. Our server seemed like he didn't even know where he was. He got our drink orders and tried to carry 4 drinks in his hands and managed to drop mine. Of course he said they will bring one right out and that took about 10 minutes. I've been told before that drink I order is pre-mixed so I'm not sure what the wait was for. Then he tried to remember our order because he didn't have a notepad to write anything down. There were only two of us eating so it can't be that hard. Well he forgot in two seconds and grabbed one of our napkins to write it down. After we got our food, we never saw him again until we were done eating. No napkins, no refills. Nothing. Fridays use to be awesome years and years ago! What happened?!?!?

Poor service. We were seated for about 15 minutes and were NEVER helped. A server NEVER came to our table to even get our drinks. We left and went to the diner next door. Poor service for sure.

Love it!.....Deja could have been more attentive than she was, but the food was great. That big, tall, mean, intimidating hostess has NO personality and hasnt smiled since we walked in.

There were 17 tables visibly available looking through the window and the host said there would be a 25 to 30 minute wait. The GM Mark even thought this was ok. Business management is poor at this location.

Bah! Food was just okay, I went with a large group, many thought the food was not worth it. After dinner, 3 in our group had stomach aches (different dishes), including myself. I probably won't return. I gave them 2 starts for having a DJ!

Worst service ever. I never liked being in Laurel in the first place. But it was a mutual location to meet up with my friends for the late night happy hour special. The food was good. But the margaritas and long island ice tea was gross. I got the Hemingway the first one was not strong at all it was just a refreshing slushy drin. I got a second Hemingway and it was much stronger prior to the first one. The main issue I had with that night was the waitress. I understand there was a game on and it was extremely busy. But she was just flat out rude to our table. My friend complained about one of her drink. She was teling us in a rude manor she had to have a manager come over and deal with it. She comes over with the manager. Taps the manager on her elbow and says "this girl over here is being a BITCH". Yes one of the waitress just called my friend a "bitch". I over heard her. I called for another manager but the old manager insisted that her waitress did not call my friend a "bitch". Yeah sure you guys seem to be friends the manager and the waitress. Laurel TGIF has the worst service ever. I rather prefer to go to another location then here. If you want rude service and your servers calling you a "bitch" then feel free to come to Laurel's Fridays.

Got my Veteran's Day meal today, thank you TGIF for your support to us Military folk. Excellent service from our server Bryan. Food came out a little slow, but it was a bit busy there or lunch. All our food came out they way we wanted it, edible and hot!

It's a typical cookie-cutter establishment... If you've been to one TGI Friday's, then you've pretty much been to them all, right?! With one exception... This place is always noisy! My wife is a fan, so we go once every couple of months, and it's always the same thing. Mediocre food, mediocre service, and a loud bar-like environment, on any day of the week. It's not really my idea of a fun family restaurant when I can't hear what my wife is saying to me, from across the table. If you're looking for good food, in a family friendly (quiet) setting, check out the Silver Diner right next door. You won't be disappointed. ~The Guru

it's a local Fridays... Drinks are alright, but it would prolly be better to buy your own bottle. I can say the staff is friendly and actually talks to you. They remember your name and favorite drinks. The food is alright and happy hour specials are always yummy. Once you have been to one Fridays you can have the same opinion of them all

Came here yesterday around 7:30 for dinner and drinks. Um...I mean it is a Fridays...the atmosphere is fun to me. I don't mind loud but I'm in my mid-20s so what do you expect. Lots of drunk people already when I got there. Looked like a few offices had groups of coworkers there actin a'fool. A Trooper was working the front door...I was a little thrown off by that. I know they have cops but it wasn't even 8PM yet. Oh well *shrugs* I don't think this is *that* Fridays you wanna take your kids to.

Waited 15 minutes no one cane to take my drink order . People coming in after me were getting a server. So I asked the hostess is anyone working this area and she rolled her eyes at me. My waiter was very very slow. It took him forever to bring me a glass of waiter and by the time I got my frozen adult drink it was almost melted. Then my food came I ordered fries as a side item and it was delivered to me with mashed potatoes... No one ever said sorry about the mix up. He never came over to offer refills or anything. I had to stop him to ask for more water that took forever to come. I asked for the check after eating that took a good 40 minutes before the manager brought it to me. Then it took another 30 minutes to get my gift card back. I was there for a good 2.5 hours. Customer service is going down. Wish I could give no stars.

If you're looking for a nice meal and prompt service, you're better off shopping somewhere else. Food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The only problem I had with my visit is two-fold. One, the host conveyed incorrect information. The 3:00pm time I arrived is not actually happy hour. The service didn't take long to get, however I had to ask for refills at the same time I requested my check. It appeared to be a head count problem rather than the server. The staff is friendly, the food is not the worst (but a little pricy) and as long as you're not in a rush, it's not a bad place to eat.

I like to give places chances time and again... and I love Friday's food, so I keep going back, but at some point I'm going to have to divorce this location. While some of the servers are friendly, the service is constantly sooooo slow. I've been there for lunch, dinner, late night... it's always insanely slow. For example, I came in last week with a few coworkers, and we spent over TWO HOURS there! This wasn't because we wanted to relax, it was because the server took forever to get our order, the food took forever to come, and the check took forever to come after that. I've been during lunch before as well where I order the "quick lunch" of soup and salad, and that even takes over an hour from start to finish. People don't have this kind of time on their lunch breaks. Also, the food is good here and there, but it usually comes out luke warm and I've had other TGI Friday's locations blow this one out of the water with food. Oh and at least half the time here the bill comes out wrong, so make sure you read it thoroughly if you go. I am not a high maintenance customer, but I do expect that my dining experience takes less than two hours.... or if it takes longer, a manager comes by and apologizes. We got nothing.

Wish I could give no stars to equal the attention we received after we were seated. A nice woman opened the door and a nice guy sat us promptly but then we never heard from anybody again. We sat there for 20 minutes before we walked next door and ate at the diner. The nice people who helped us promptly didnt care that we walked out. Sad but good customer service is hard to find these days.

I rarely give bad reviews. Even when I do, if I were really honest with myself, I'd admit that it was for some relatively minor indiscretion that I was getting inordinately worked up over. This is not the case with this establishment. I was with my family, a party of 10, who called ahead to make sure there was a table available for us. This was a Monday night, and the restaurant was half empty -- plenty of room and servers available. What followed was, hands down, the worst experience I've ever had in any restaurant. The first server was terrible. 45 minutes after we sat down, only three people in the party had been served drinks, one of the drinks had been made incorrectly, he didn't know what bottles of wine were available, or if the food could be cooked to order. After speaking with the manager, we were able to get a new server. However, it turned out that the problems with service were not particular to that server, but a systemic problem with the restaurant itself. They were extremely apologetic (almost to an awkward extent: "quit talking about how sorry you are and just take our orders!") It took a full 1.5 hours for our food to actually be brought to the table. Although I love family, let's be honest, I don't really want to dine with them at a TGI Fridays for three hours, half of which is spent just waiting for the food. In addition of the issues with speed, they didn't have much in the way of food. During the course of the meal, they were out of: - Several bottles of wine that were available on the menu - Honey - Oranges - Makers Mark The server spilled a drink all over the table and one of the guests, we had to send a plate back (I asked for it to be cooked rare, it was very well cooked), and the bill was wrong -- an extra $30 of food and drinks was added (including a drink we ordered, but they were out of. Apparently "we're out of that" means "you don't get it, but we'll add it to the bill"). And those were only the *big* problems. Absolutely nothing went right during the entire experience (water glasses weren't refilled, old plates/glasses were never taken away, etc). On the bright side, the entire comical shit show that they called "service" made for great entertainment for the evening. To add insult to injury, because we were a larger group, they added a mandatory 18% tip to the bill. We paid it, but certainly won't be dining there again.

This place is delicious & carries all the Fridays classics - I think most of the negativity is service related.

Do NOT go here if you are on a lunch break or need to get in and get out within an hour. The service is slow and not good. They used to have good service and good bartenders here, but something changed and everyone is gone. This location is close to my work, so I've tried and tried and tried to come here for lunch, but I never successfully get back within my allotted hour time frame, and I'm usually only ordering sandwiches or salads. This, in my opinion is the worst Friday's out there.

My experience was OK. Went on a Saturday so maybe that was all I should have expected. The service was good once I grabbed the attention of another server. As always I like to break down my restaurant reviews into three categories. Service: 3.5/5 She wasn't bad but it took her longer than it should have to at least just identify herself. Moderately attentive with no noticeable attitude. Quality of Food/Drinks: 2.5/5 They were out of tonic water so I had to drink my gin neat with a glass of water on the side. Not quite the same experience. Food was sodium HEAVY but at least she kept the water's coming. Ambiance/Environment: 3/5 Music was solid, mostly hip hop and a little top 40. Nothing special but nothing bad which in my book is OK. Even though I'm anti chain restaurants I still think place is slightly better than Buffalo "Tiny" Wild Wings. I mean it's hard to avoid sodium pretty much anywhere you eat.

Can I give a zero? Hostess had no idea what was going on. We were seated in a very unstructured way. It's amazing they can actually operate so erratic like. Anyway the table was filthy. Covered in food. We waited to have that cleaned. When it was we waited 15 mins before a waiter waltzed by and said "oh hey have you guys been helped?"....no organization. They don't even know who's been seated. Anyway we got our order of bonless wings , moz sticks , pan stickers. Also ordered baby back ribs, a long island ice tea, and a pina colada..not virgin...food came in a timely fashion at least. However the moz sticks. Literally had NO CHEESE INSIDE. NONE!.how does that even happen ? The boneless wings...well sucked...the were flat...like chips and dry ...like chips and cold.... The pork pan stickers . We're actually good. That's the only highlight . The LIIT came to me and all I tasted was sweetnsour. I asked for it to be remade. They brought back a drink with less mixer. And more ice. It was very weak. In my experience LIIT are supposed to be quite strong. I was supremely disappointed. The pina colada...Literally tasted virgin..if there was alcohol in it..it was very trace. Now the ribs. Honestly ... The absolute worst ribs I have ever eaten...anywhere..ever.. They were flat. There was barely any meat on them at all. The meat that was on it had to actually be forcefully torn off the rack and ripped apart with teeth...reminded me of rubber from the first bite. They costed as much as any other rack anywhere else but on a scale of 1 to 10 i give them a -20. They are advertised as "fall off the bone" LOL what a joke. If you have a loose tooth just chomp into these and it'll come right out. This was the last straw. Ive been to other TGIF and was just as disappointed. I will never go back to any TGIF ever again.

Food was okay. It was cold when they brought it out. They also didn't put in my order until 15 min after I ordered. They gave us the appetizers but there were no plates or napkins. Well, there was one roll that was already on the table. This is my second time dining at this location and the service is terrible as usual. I even had to go get my own napkins and utensils because the waiter didn't give us any at all, even after he brought out our entrees. Food: 3/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 3/5

Hmm....What do I start... It's hit or miss when going to or ordering take-out. Last experience I had with Friday's in Laurel wasn't a good one. Coming from Burtonsville, I drove to Friday's after calling in 2 Jack Daniels Sirloins, one with mash & broccoli, the other with double broccoli. Shouldn't be that confusing of an order right? Well I cues it was to this guy. NOTE: Always check the food before leaving. Again, we ordered two JD steaks. So I get to the restaurant, wait about 15 minutes, pay AND tip the guy, just to get home and find out that the main item wasn't included... I mean, yes the steaks were there but THERE WAS NO JACK DANIELS SAUCE on or even on the side. Being that I was already ba k in Burtonsville, I really didn't want to drive back there plus by this time, the kitchen was closed. I wasn't happy because if I didn't want JD sauce, I would've just ordered to plain sirloins. I didn't have any steak sauce in the fridge so I decided I would go back in hopes to get new steaks because by this time the steaks were getting cold. The manager just offers me more JD sauce than I really need. Doesn't offer a free desert, doesn't offer to give me a free Appetizer card, but he did tell me that next time we come in to eat that he will give us 2 free steaks. Now, you might think that THAT is a good thing, and maybe it is, but as I write this while hungry, and ponder the thought of having to call this guy and say , " Hey, it's the guy with the two Jack Daniels steaks that you promised to give us two free new ones".. Just makes me feel a little uncomfortable because I think I sound like a bum or that I'm pressed about something that happened a week or so ago. Now if he had given me a card (btw, he said he didn't have any at the time...Hmm), stating two free entrees, I wouldn't feel so bad. Now it's 8:55 PM Saturday, and I've been calling there for 20 minutes only to keep getting a busy signal. I just wanted to make sure he's working before I go in there expecting steaks that will come out looking how the menu describes. Hey it together TGIF... You don't order flowers you girl on Valentine's Day and just show up with the vase.

Would probably give zero stars if I could. Service is absolutely horrible. Went this past Tuesday could not even get a bartender on our side of the bar. Food came out and we had no utensils to eat. This was my final chance given to this location. I will stick to my location in Columbia a little more of a drive but a lot better service.

The host was very dry upon entrance. She acted as if she didn't want to be at work...sidenote change jobs... We sat down and our waiter came over mind you no one ever met her outside of her job she began interrogating us by asking random things. After question and answer series we ordered our drinks and food. I got one refill all night but she made sure the rest of the party had refills. The food was just ok my order was messed up. I mean all I had was a burger with enough lettuce for a horse. but hey rule #1 never send food back lol...this place turns into a club after 10pm maybe they should install a pole to match the dj.....#TURN UP

I like it a lot better now that they've gotten rid of all the kitsch that used to be on the walls. You do have to pick carefully from the menu. Parmesan crusted chicken with caprese and tortellini is OK italian-American, baby back ribs were meaty with a nice tangy sauce, and the ginger slaw is a fun twist. I have not tried the wings, but I see a lot of people sucking them down. On the other hand, flatbread appys miss the mark and the tortilla chips are too thick and just a little short of fresh. I usually come in for the $3 Thursday specials - the mojito and margarita are standard, a little bite from the well brand booze but at least you know they didn't short the shot. I've been scared to try LI Iced tea since I' know I'll be driving, The appy + entree specials at $12 and $16 are also a good value. My main gripe is that service is wildly variable. You'd think by now they'd have figured out the staffing level needed for each time slot. One time so perfect I sought out the manager to request an attaboy, tonight only two tenders for a full bar. But I'll be back once a month or so - getting your attitude adjusted for about $10 is a pretty good deal. Do sign up for Stripes, and they will email you occasional deals and freebies.

Was with a friend for lunch--we were seated--waited 20 minutes for water!!! Waitress said she was busy and they were short staffed. I should have walked out then. Placed orders waitress comes back to say they ran out of lettuce. Placed different order which finally comes out 30 minutes later. Meal is nothing to write home about--cold burger, cold fries, chicken drier than the desert. Jumping ahead: Waitress offers new dishes, nope not today. Waitress can't find manager to see if he'll comp meals. Walked out three hours later. Thumbs down.

LOL....My visit this past Saturday night. Service-Horrible; waiter kept forgetting our requests! UGH! Food-below standards-usually okay! UGH! Adult beverage-Okay.... MUSIC-AWESOME! I haven't been here in a while but this is usually an okay HH spot or dinner. But...uhhhh...THEY HAVE A DJ now....I don't know whats up with that but...Okay-good music though! Police-so you will always feel protected!! LOL... yep...they have even MORE police officers on duty here! VERY WEIRD! Might be a sign that this isn't a safe spot to go!

Saturday 11.8.2014 Sat in bar area, after being told there was a 20 min wait for a table. Server (Jasmine, I believe was her name) was friendly. But things went down hill from there. Took at least 5 mins to get a lemonade and water. Decided to try the new $10 Rib Trio. The server had ZERO clue what the sauces were, good thing I researched it prior to going. Bacon crusted ribs...sure why not. Food came out fast, bonus right? Nope, the ribs were dry, precooked maybe, flavorless meat, they basically dump whatever sauce they are promoting and rewarm the ribs. Absolutely terrible. Mashed potatoes were decent. Steak Parm fries were flavorful (only thing good), regular fries (the mini serving) were cold, dry and blah. The coleslaw looked yellow, old and wilted, no thanks! Extra napkins, forget it, took forever. Now to find our server, so we can pay! After searching for someone we only seen 3 times during our visit, (drink order, food order, then food delivery) we finally asked another server (who we saw at least 15 times). Finally paid...off to Famous Daves we go for REAL ribs, seriously that is what we did!

the service & food is always great! this is the location that i visit frequently! i love the setup of the bar area! its definitely one of my favorite restaurants! the cajun shrimp & chicken pasta is my favorite entree! im addicted to the mozzarella sticks!

Fridays is Fridays, I think the separation between the locations really comes down to the service. Food is blah and service can be hit or miss. Overall I think the staff is decent relatively speaking.

  • Ant B.

Went here Sunday and wish I had just went home. I was with a big party and we got our table without a wait. For about 20 mins we had to wait for a waiter, followed by mistakes on orders and too many apologies. I nominate them for the next seasons of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, it was that bad!

  • Candy A.

Went on a Friday night (just now actually), and what can I say? Let's start with the hostess: she seemed to be entertained with a group of her friends (I'll get back to her in a minute, because she does pop up again). We waited at least five minutes before she acknowledged us. The waitress: we were seated for about ten minutes. I know they were busy but we saw her a few times before she even came over to say anything. Food: I sent my steak back because it was a little too pink for me, and I asked for it medium well. Well the server was okay with taking it back but returned saying the manager Ashley said that the steak was medium well. Oops, my thought: don't argue with the customer, I just didn't want to see blood dripping out of my steak. Well, I finished my dinner and the steak still wasn't ready. Wait, I forgot to mention, we didn't have utensils our food arrived and had to wait 3 to 5 minutes until our server appeared to ask her for some. Food: I guess based on what I did get to eat it was anything you'd expect from a chain restaurant. The ribs were okay, but had a nasty film under them which the hubby and I both were confused about and discarded. The vegetable medley was the best thing on my plate, since I didn't get to try the steak. Now back to the hostess, she seated her friends right behind us and talked right over my husband while on her way somewhere, which I found completely rude. So, I will not be visiting this location again, well maybe to the bar because my margarita was pretty strong even though it came out with my entree. Overall: GHETTO, GHETTO, GHETTO!!! Terrible service, and definitely need better trained staff. As a matter of fact they need a new hiring manager. I understand the economy is bad, but as customers we expect at least decent service.

Well, it's Fridays what do you expect. The service is ok at best, and just ok. Good drinking food that's about it.

I went here with two friends of mine a few months ago and the service was TERRIBLE. The hostess seated us promptly, we watched our waitress walk by our table numerous times without getting our drink orders or even acknowledging that she knew we were there. Not sure how many other tables she had but she didn't appear to be too busy. My two friends ordered alcoholic drinks, and we watched our server stand at the bar and socialize even after the drinks were ready. I got some type of nacho appetizer as my meal, and it wasn't too bad, but our waitress barely checked on us at all, and we had to wait long periods of time for our drinks to be refilled as well. When it came time to pay the tab, I didn't even want to leave her a 15% tip, and I work in the service industry and think 20% is standard for average service. She was really that bad. Overall the atmosphere isn't that great, the service is terrible, and the food is certainly not good enough to justify overlooking all the negative aspects of the restaurant.

Fridays used to be my favorite American restaurant, but they've changed their menu to try and carve out a niche. They are now trying to be a "grill" which seems to mean that they can charge more for their food. I don't think they are any better than Applebee's and they should stop trying to be something they aren't.

    (3)
  • Jessica M.

The food is good. The service is THE WORST EVER. Like seriously, it's really that bad. In a large, mostly empty restaurant, they crammed everyone into the same smallest section of the place. Heaven forbid they walk an extra 5 feet to a table. The waitress comes by to tell me she'll come back to take my drink order. Huh? Why couldn't you take it then?? 10 minutes later she brings everyone water. I told her I would like a Dr. Pepper and my daughter would like a tea. She just walks away. 10 more minutes...She comes back to tell me she'll come back again soon to take our order. Wha? I tell her again I'd like a soda & a tea. Again she walks away. 10 MORE MINUTES AND NO SODA LATER... I grab a manager and explain that after 30 minutes, I'd really like a soda now.The waitress comes back out and tells me how upset SHE IS that I got her in trouble! Then she grabs our drinks and does a very condesending "oh yes m'am, here's your soda m'am, I'm so sorry I was busy working, if you have any more trouble m'am, you can just talk to me you know." I inform her that the water was bad (like the tap hadn't cleared from what was last poured) and if I could please get a new one. "Oh well, m'am, didn't I just bring you the soda you wanted, m'am? So now you want the water, m'am?" She was being seriously rude at this point. But whatever, I thought, it's Laurel. We order (45 minutes after being seated) and get our food pretty quickly. I asked the waitress for silverware and she insisted we were given some and doesn't know what we did with it. Hint: Instead of arguing with a customer, why not just get me a darn fork?? We ate our food, which was fine, still left a tip (albeit small), and I don't really think I'll be going back to that Friday's.
