Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. The only reason I'm giving two stars is that the food wasn't terrible. This time. It's currently going on an hour for our carryout order which was quoted 15 minutes. We ordered on the way back from a busy day with our hungry, impatient, toddler and now we're sitting in the parking lot waiting on a pizza that should have been ready 45 minutes ago. To make matters worse, every time we call this pizza hut, their delivery wait time is always over an hour. We figured picking it up would make it faster. We were wrong. This is the third try with this pizza hut. We'll not be trying again.

This Pizza Hut is the absolute worst Pizza Hut in the entire Northern Hemisphere. There is one team member by the name "Ben" who gives me problems every time I come here but it is the only one near me. If I could I would give it a negative 2 stars. My order will be so small and it will still not be ready when I get here, then when it is they do it wrong and blame it on me. I hate this place. 3 months later. This place is still trash.

I don't know what happened to this Pizza Hut!!! My husband ordered a pizza online and went to pick it up 45 minutes later and it still wasn't ready!! Apparently they have a whole new staff and some of the delivery drivers didn't show up so they was behind on orders. I hope they get it together because my family loves Pizza Hut..just NOT this one!!!

I usually like to give it some time before posting a review but after two experiences this weekend (Aug 1st & 2nd) I had to share my thoughts to warn/prepare others. On Saturday I attempted a delivery order only to find out the wait time would be 2.5 -3 hours since 3 out of 4 delivery drivers called out. So on Sunday I tried my luck with carry out. I should've known this time wouldn't be any better when this store's online ordering was down and I had to call twice before someone picked up. So I was quoted 20 minutes for my $10 dinner box come to find out it was still not ready upon my arrival 35 minutes later. So I had to wait 10 more minutes for it to be prepared and it was still wrong. So I say all that to say if you're looking for a someone descent PH experience you will have to visit the Hyattsville store on Queens Chapel or any other local PH.

I used to visit this Pizza Hut as a kid with my family in the early 90's. Back then they offered a real dining experience with porcelain plates and clean cloth covered tables. Now, not so much. I ordered a pie from here two days ago. The dough tasted very, very stale. Not fresh at all. The veggies and meat were fine. The sauce was also what I have come to expect. But again, the dough ruined the pizza for me. The service is also awful. I ordered online and called in for a delivery estimate. The girl I spoke to was completely unprofessional, and kept me on hold for ten minutes because she said she could not find my order. I placed the order on Pizza Hut's website.

This PH location has been here since the 80's, very popular location. I've been here several times, the food is ok to great. My issue with this location took place a year ago, so that being said the manager I dealt with may or may not be there. I ordered a pizza and 20 wings, I only had one request to make 10 wings spicy bbq and 10 wings another flavor. The manager told me that since their was no way to ring up or enter the order in half and half I could not order them as the way I specified. At first I thought she didn't understand what I was asking so I repeated it again, but she gave me the same response. I was stuck on how stupid her response was I canceled my order and left the store.

I had an order or two that was messed up so check your food before you leave but overall they are quick and have good customer service.

Tried to order via phone and the girl said she wasn't the store that actually it was so it took a lot longer and then my order wasn't right and I would have to wait an additional 10 minutes. I was not happy.

There were quite a few issues with my experience, the culmination of which will result in my no longer patronizing this establishment. That's correct, two strikes, and you'll never see my business again. Below is the feedback I have about the two experiences that led to my sentiment. Take it or leave it (although I suspect firmly based on recent past that you'll opt for the latter).... First experience: After seeing a commercial for some new items you were selling (crust flavors, etc.), I decided to take a chance again on Pizza Hut. I'd given up on your company a while back due to the quality of the food, but thought I'd give it another shot. My mistake. After ordering two pizzas, each with speciality crust flavors, neither pizza arrived with a custom crust, and I was never called and alerted to the fact that the item was not available. The 2 liter soda was forgotten and arrived again 20-30 minutes after our food was delivered. I chalked that one up to a mistake... Mistakes happen occasionally, I'm a generally understanding person. Experience Two: This evening. I order a bacon stuffed crust from the website, along with a soda and boneless wings. After being quoted 1:10 minutes (which I was willing to accept, but frankly think is crazy on a Thursday at 7pm), I was called 40 minutes later to be told the following: a.) they no longer serve bacon stuffed crust pizza b.) I was going to be given a regular stuffed crust pizza, no modification to the special I was receiving was possible (1-topping bacon stuffed crust turned into 1-topping stuffed crust. I would have liked to change my order if the order I made was not available) c.) There was nothing that they could do to change things, because I'd already ordered and been charged on my card. Keeping in mind that I'd have been happy to cancel my order, refund that charge on my card, and reorder what I wanted, I was more than upset by being told that I basically "get what I get" not that I "get what I want and am willing to pay for" or "get what I ordered". My order, in sum, took 1:40 to arrive at my house. As a long time Domino's customer (again, I was giving you a chance, and you failed), removing coupons, or items that are no longer valid or available from the website is the responsibility of the management of the store, which I've unequivocally lost faith in at this point. Let this be an example of a time that letting things slide, or working with an absence of focus on customer service has cost you business. Best of luck, hopefully the commercials for your gimmicky items, which your supply chain and staff/management fail to be able to produce or keep stocked, afford you the ability to stay afloat for another little while. It's a tough market out there.

Well it actually sucked. If and only if you care for rude, unprofessional behavior along with a "few people standing around" and scratching their heads. I mean digging for gold, silver or something. Then after you stand at the counter and they finally look at and then acknowledge you. Really I'm wasting your time, with my money. Really noticed the telephone was RINGING For A Really Long Time!! Finally order and 23 minutes later I get my large pizza, drive back to work and it is not what I ordered.( MY FAULT, RUSHING BACK.). So sad to say that this is not the Exception, it is "Standard Service (Lack Of) at this Pizza Hut location. I will never spend my hard earned money or patronize this store!

This place is horrible, placed an order online, at 8:15pm and it said my food would arrive at 9:45 pm... Really!!!! 1 hr and a half for delivery!!!! Ridiculous!!! So i call they store and tell her i will pick up instead, she starts to laugh and says ok it will be ready in 20 min, so i get there at 8:45pm (30 mins later) and my pizza was just being put in the oven! Are you serious!!! So they tell me to wait! I didnt get my food till 9:00, and when i get it the wings, bread sticks, cinnastix were cold and nasty! And they didnt even give me thae damn blue cheese! So we had to eat nasty food! Never again will i order fron them, sticking to Dominos like i should! (the only reason i gave it a star was because it wont let me post without rating it!!!)

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
