Subway

This Subway is super clean. And has a little convenience store in it so you don't have to stop anywhere else. I stopped here on a road trip so it was exactly what I needed. Get gas next door at Marathon, and then grab lunch, pee, and get some grub for the road here on any road trip! As my traveling companion said, "You can tell they take a lot of pride in this Subway" which I can certainly appreciate. Simple, friendly and exactly what all Subways should be like!

Tri-Angle Restaurant

Reviews:
Me and my cousins were traveling through the area looking for a good dive bar. We ended up at Tri-Angle and we were thoroughly impressed! They have great food and good drinks for cheap! There is nothing bad that I can say about this place, we had so much fun. The bartender was awesome and after chatting it up with her for a while she let me get in on the action and I was changing a keg and buying paintings off the wall! We had so much fun here and I can't wait to plan my trip back through so I can stop by again!
I will never be back to this restaurant again. We sat at the bar for 20 min before anyone even acknowledged we were there then came over and told us we couldn't order food because they were too busy with another party but we could get drinks. If someone had come over within the first 5 min of us being there we wouldn't have wasted so much time of our trip
Great place for food and drinks. Always recommend to friends and family. Only recommend that the owner and her son realize that customers are watching. Just a hello or acknowledgement goes a long way. After all, the patrons are paying the bills. If you can't interact, stay in the kitchen and focus on doing something that you are apparently good at.

Log Cabin Inn

Reviews:
Excellent American food in a friendly and relaxed roadhouse environment. Great daily specials. The fish and chips special is not to be missed. Compares well to the British version, but with American-style fries, of course. The fried oyster special and onion rings were also very good. The service was excellent. We've driven by the highway sign for the Log Cabin Inn many times en route to Ohio. Glad we stopped to try it out this time. We'll definitely come back.
Steak was tough as shoe leather, it was supposed to be New York strip but I think it was flank steak. The staff was friendly though.
Spotted the sign for the Log Cabin Inn on the highway and decided to turn off and check it out. We walked in and were greeted with that weird stare from the regulars, you know the "Ya'll ain't from 'round here" but we sat down and felt comfortable pretty quick. The menu was huge. We had the Crab stuffed potato skins, WOW! They were SO good! "M" wanted the chili but they were out. He ordered the pot roast sandwich instead and really liked it. It was a nice stop on a long way home.

Hardee’s

Reviews:
My neighbor and I were talking about hamburger joints and he mentioned Hardee's. I have never been so tonight we decided to take the 20 mile trip to Hancock, MD. They have a great selection of charbroiled hamburgers, variety of beverages, chicken strips, etc. I decided on the Frisco Burger, a 1/3 lb. charbroiled 100% Black Angus beef patty with crisp bacon, Swiss cheese, and tomato slices on fresh sourdough toast and the fries. The burger was great. I would take this over any other burger joint. I also tried the beer battered onion rings and they were really good. The restaurant was really clean, friendly staff, service was fast. I will be back.
Waited 25 minutes for my to go order and there was no line. Incompetence. It was like a customer was a distraction from whatever they were doing in back.
Hardee's has what they bill as "Big Bag Lunch". It has a selection of two each various sandwiches that you pick, an comes with a decent portion of fries, a medium soda, an two cookies. We got the roast beef & they rivaled Arby's for sure. The fries out does Mc D's, and the cola drink was cold...two BIG BAG LUNCH'S for a total with tax of just $10.50 for us both. After eating I just had to let Hardee's of Hancock know they did a great job! Yelp!!!

Great food! The owner is "nuts" but hilarious! A sure to eat at mom and pops style pizza place. The ham wedgie is amazing.
Great food & great staff! Everyone here was friendly & the wait was not long. The "wedgies" are delicious!
If you're looking for small town roadside eats, this will do. The preexisting low Yelp rating almost deterred our caravan from taking our pitstop here, but we walked in and out satisfied. The food, decor, and prices don't appear to have changed over the last 25 years, which isn't a bad thing. The inside looks like your grandmothers living room and kitchen, and the Cal Ripken poster referenced by Steve B. remains brilliantly posted on the wall. Our group of 7 ordered sandwiches across the menu and were met by smiles and good food. Although no one ordered pizza, I'd be hard pressed to visit those salt factories before this.

Where did everyone go? We went there for dinner while traveling back from Frostburg. It was Saturday night at 7pm, it was only us and two other families. This place used to be packed in years past! We ordered some open face turkey and roast beef platters, an old favorite of ours. No disappointment here. The homemade mash potatoes rocked! Service was good but I kind of felt sorry for them being that the place seats about 200 and there was only 12 of us in there. The menu seemed smaller and the place is starting to look dated.
We had a group of 20. They gave us a small private room which was really nice. They didn't have enough menus for our entire group and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I ordered the ham pot pie. It's made with Old Country Ham and I wasn't really ready for the taste of it. Kinda sour, like sour kraut. My green beans and roasted red skin potatoes were delish. Everyone else really enjoyed their meal and the group got a variety meals. The value of the meal for the portion is very generous. Only other down side, I didn't get a refill on my tea. Never saw the waitress to even ask.
Decent food but what was really good was our waiter. I didn't catch his name unfortunately but he was very nice and attentive. SO and I were splitting a meal and he got us extra sweet potato fries. He also brought us some syrup as a suggestion to dip our fries into. Boyfriend really liked the stuffed peppers but I didn't. The waiter also very enthusiastic about the restaurant and he mentioned that he was trying to get the place on TV.
