Im sure if you follow me ... or have come across my reviews. You know I love.. chocolate, cupcakes, pizza and FRO YOU.. bytches!! So Im know stranger of FRO YO joints. My plusses here are ...lots of flavors! woo hooo and they swirl. Yummy combonations. also I've had bad experiences with the buffet topping layout. I've seen folks dirty shirt sleeves in the topping buffet. So I am happy about the topping layout. More space than some of the place I have visited... its nice to be able to have a seat with my kid so she doesnt get it all in my car. I've been 2x.. and the place is always spotless.. I havent been in the ladies room yet Negative 1 star.. the costumer service is JACKED up. You have to ask for a sample and you make get a huff and puff. So what if my kid asked for 5 sample... heck if she asked for 20 samples... that's your job. Im sure the owners of this establishment wouldn't be to happy about this. . It gets $$ because ... it's not a cheap treat. I think for 2 of us, we run about $8. Next time I go.. I will take a pic of the recipe... so I can be more accurate.

My fav yogurt spot in MD. Clean. Lots of flavors. Yummy.

As another reviewer said, this FroYo spot is just alright. These types of stores don't seem to deviate too much from one another, and this one is about on-par. The employees are always polite, and the prices are comparable to other area frozen yogurt shops. The inside has a nice modern-like design and decor to it, with comfortable seating and nice lighting. The location is great, close to the movie theater in case you're interested in grabbing a bite before or after a show. The yogurt itself tastes fine, and there's a nice selection of toppings. Decent place.

They have a great selection of frozen yogurt and toppings to choose from. The machines and toppings counter are always clean. There are plenty of tables and chairs and it's big enough in there that you don't feel like you're sitting right on top of each other. The biggest plus is their 20% military discount!

Plenty of different yogurt flavors but toppings are a miss. Not much of a vast selection like other fro-yo places. We did like the fact that they had flat screen televisions in there. We were able to eat our fro-yo's while watching the Ravens game.

Good place to visit for a nice frozen yogurt. I love the no sugar added options and prefer the outside sitting arrangement to the in store tables which is fine during bad weather days.; best of all, relaxing with good company as I enjoy my snack;. I usually get the strawberry banana and coffee yogurt, and stick with the fruit and nuts toppings; but if you have a sweet tooth or are not watching your waist line,, you will find a lot of selections to satisfy your buds too. It is my way of indulging in a healthy snack.

Just ok. There is nothing about Yolavie that sets it apart from other FROYO establishments. I kinda wish my yogurt was colder/more dense because it melted as soon as it hit the bowl.

This Yolavie is in a mall, next to a large theatre. Indoor and outdoor seating. Guessing, I'd say over a dozen flavors of frozen yogurt. Lovely, appealing flavors--they all called to me, but I narrowed my choices to small helpings of three. Then the toppings. Oh, my. Fresh fruit. Chocolate this and chocolate that. Chopped candies. Sauces! Everything was delicious. Staff very personable. Prices good. Pick a bowl (one size) and fill it with as much as you want. You pay by the weight!

Good selection of yogurt and pretty atmosphere although I walked in to an empty store and I had to personally say hello to the associate standing by the register staring at us. She did not look enthused about her job. The room was so silent I almost felt like I was at the pool house at the YMCA because of the echo. Thankfully a few customers walked in to help the awkward silence as I finished up my yogurt. I almost feel like I have to apologize to the girl working for how crappy her life must be to be acting the way she is. Poor thing. 2 stars.

What a massive froyo place with a large variety of selection. It occupies a large section of the shopping center and located right next to the theaters so I can see it being an excellent treat after the movies, grocery shopping at Wegmans, or browsing Target. Pretty comprehensive shopping center and great location to have a delicious treat. I was a fan of their several selection of non-far sorbets and their original tart was creamy and lightly tart, just perfect. There are ample colorful chairs and many high school kids and families frequent this location. Overall, great execution and great self-service yogurt at a good price (40 something cent an ounce...).

It's OK if you like to trick yourself that eating sugar-laden froyo is healthy. I would rather just get ice cream - and there are MUCH better choices in the area than boring fro-yo. Try Kilwin's, which is right there in Waugh Chapel as well, or The Daily Scoop in Pasadena, or the Annapolis Ice Cream Company downtown. I thought it was the '80s again and I was at TCBY. Shrug. Nothing wrong with it but I won't be back. Yawn.

I called this place on the phone because the location shown on my Maps app was wrong...but the guy on the phone (maybe manager?) kindly directed me to the actual location--which is actually right next door to Regal Imax 12 theatre. What's more, by the time I got there it was past closing, but he knew I was coming and stayed open for me! Great place, much better decor and lighting than your typical self-serve yogurt joint, and lots of yogurt flavors. I got the blueberry acai, peanut butter, cookies and cream, and New York cheesecake flavors. All were great. They had this topping I hadn't seen before, "green coconut jelly" which was interesting but good! Bottom line: customer service at this location is very good...they offer trials of the flavors and make an effort to make a good impression. I recommend it!

I think this place is pretty good, but I've also been to many that could put this place to shame. Living in SoCal for half a decade during what I'll call the "yogurt revolution", I've had many frozen yogurts. Pros: (1) This place has a good number of flavors. Roughly 16 individual flavors and then swirls between each pair (making probably around 24 flavors). (2) The place is relatively large, with a bunch of tables and very clean (much like all the other yogurt places). Cons: (1) They don't let you sample the flavors yourself. They have an employee walk around with you and get the samples for you. I understand the reason for this, but come on! Let your customers try a couple and then get their yogurt. For the indecisive people, it's just awkward. You try one, you think it's okay. You try another, and it's pretty good...then you're guilted into that one because you feel bad having the employee get your samples. (2) Another problem is that their toppings are not very plentiful in variety and it's sort of awkward to get them. While other yogurt places have a buffet looking section, this place has chosen to have their toppings organized in bins. You lift up the bin, use the scoop and then put the scoop back. It takes forever and the line gets backed up because of it. (3) This is more of a suggestion than a con, but they should really have a frequent customer reward card like many yogurt shops (e.g. buy nine get one free). Conclusion: This place is worthwhile if you're already in the area, but I wouldn't suggest going out of your way for it.

First of all, Justin (the manager) is the best, nicest and most welcoming person I have ever met in any restaurant situation! The yogurt, delicious, the place itself, clean, inviting, comfortable! A don't miss if you're in the Crofton- Gambrills area!

Soooo I live in Los Angeles which is fro-yo central. Basically, you can't really mess up a fro-yo joint, I mean really. Yolavie is no different, very nice, creamy flavors, completely with Kosher certification and probiotics. What is nice is they have a very nice selection of flavors and keep the store pretty clean and cute. Based on this alone, I could have given it a solid 3 to 4 stars. Here's where my visits have gone wrong... Only once have we had a polite employee experience. The first visit ever, having no idea what time they closed, I guess I got to the door right at closing to have some teenage kid laugh at us while locking the door and mocking us waving "bye bye". Um....what on earth? Since it's the ONLY fro-yo place in the Bowie, Crofton and surrounding areas until you get to Annapolis, we went back a few more times. I LOVE fro-yo. First visit back, employees were just kind of aloof, playing loud old top 40-ish hip hop hits. Really didn't want to eat my yogurt on the go but it was actually kind of annoying. Second visit back, 2 teenage female employees were manning the counter and talking trash about customers from the night before. From the conversation it sounded like it was solely based on the fact that the one girl was irritated the customers came in 15 minutes before they closed. Now, me as a customer, don't want to hear at all, any employee of a place trashing any of their guest. The girls used words like, "bitches, skanks..." and other foul language in this conversation and it actually was really upsetting. The conversation took place as we paid for our yogurt and was completely inappropriate. Once again there was very loud music playing that added to my irritation, until they turned off the music and started playing an old, funny Adam Sandler movie, which was actually kind of cool. Third visit back, there was a really polite young lady I had not seen before. She is the reason I didn't give this place 1 star. Overall, despite the variety of flavors, dealing with this time of employee issues is not desirable. We will probably try it a few more times as it just opened so maybe they are working out some kinks in training, but thankfully I will be back on the west coast very soon and will enjoy the overly friendly, ridiculously excited employees of Pinkberry and others place that I grew to love.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! The strawberry-banana flavor is my fav and the toppings seem to be endless. The establishment is always clean and the staff members are extremely friendly and offer exceptional customer service to the patrons. I use to frequent Meechie's frozen yogurt last Summer, but Yolavie has surely beat them out of the park.

One-word review: yum. Okay, a bit more... This place is a great concept, and I'm not sure who started it, but I'm glad Yolavie is in Crofton now. One complaint: some of the yogurts didn't quite taste like the fruit or sweet they represented, but there are so many flavors to choose from, it's not an egregious sin. Plus, the toppings are quite varied and definitely make up for any other shortcomings. Great way to enjoy a somewhat healthier frozen treat! Just not that often, of course... it's also a tad pricey.

Overall Yolavie is a three star froyo place. The location is fairly nice, spacious and clean overall. The flavors are pretty good, My favorite flavor they have is definitely the sweet coconut ( I think that's what it is called). Of course they have your standard flavors, plain, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc along with flavors like peanut butter, cookies n' cream, a strawberry banana mixture if I'm not mistaken, mango, watermelon, etc. Good variety overall. One of the major set backs of this foryo place is the staff. They are quite unfriendly and apathetic. Nobody gets overly excited about frozen yogurt yea, but if I say "hi, how are you" I would expect a response (and people complain about the staff at elevation burger! ha!). All the cashiers do is basically talk about people and when a customer comes up to pay for their frozen yogurt creation they ignore everything they say. They just make the situation awkward. If you want to get some frozen yogurt this is the place to go (mainly because its the only one in the area), but beware of the apathetic, unappealing, scowling staff!

Yolavie was a great experience but it is an upscale froyo place. We got three cups and it was almost $10 each. Similar places were about half of that. The only difference was that they do have some exotic toppings. They have fruit in a hard jell-o form and then these little tapioca balls that kind of explode when you eat them, full of a flavor gel. It was interesting but nothing I would have to go back for. They did have a ton of flavors here though and they all tasted great. Pistachio was my favorite. It was very quiet when we got there and then got slam packed when the theater let out. I didn't have a bad experience but for the price I knocked one star off. You won't be disappointed though.

Nice place, clean, nicely decorated, good selection! This is a new frozen yogurt shop in Waugh Chapel, right next to the Regal Cinema's. Awesome yogurt, like 30 selections, tons of toppings, relatively good price (much better bargain than Coldstone)

Cool place. They have lots of different flavors to choose from and a shit ton of topping. (money saving tip eat half your ice cream before you pay to save money and put the toppings in your pocket) Not sure what other people are talking about not letting you sample. All i did was put a little in my cup ate it if i did not like it i moved on.
