Seems like the trend now is to have guys come to baby showers and I've been to quite a few now. The women keep an eye on us guys and give us some silly fun challenges in the form of some kind of games. Such as who can drink beer out of a babies bottle the quickest with no hands. So hear I am at some very good friends party that they have decided to have at this new place that just open. Hidden away in the Quince Orchard Shopping Center Felicita lays in wait actually not a bad sized spot. Sort of an Italian meets South American cuisine. Full of tables and chairs but they also have a dance floor and a stage for live bands. Apparently this place will shut down for private or social parties and for business functions. We had the whole place to ourselves. The owner was there to oversee the party and he made sure that everything went smoothly for the party guess. A little slow out of the gate at first but they managed to pull it together very quickly and without incident to party guess. As the evening progressed, more guest arrived finally everybody here and we were all hungry and ready for appetizers in the form of these little spring roll type of tacos toastados. Good but a little on the greasy side, but that's is normal for this type of food. They also had chicken wings but I didn't sample those I just want to dive into the mains. Well so and so isn't here yet! Too bad we start without them that's what they get for being late. Out came the food buffet style, the choices included basic salad no surprises there. Lasagna very good meat sauce just right with enough meat in the sauce for a hungry guy like myself. Spaghetti and meat sauce, Linguini Primaversa this had vegetables in a white cream sauce and chicken in some sort of lemon butter sauce which also was good. They have a much larger and more extensive menu for diner which I have posted some photos of. Over all the food was good there was only 5 people the owner, chef, waitress, do it all guy and another woman who was doing a lot probably the owners wife and handling over 50 people in the party so kudos for that. All guest meals were inclusive of the package deal nothing better than a good free meal, Haha. Prices of their regular courses seems to be very affordable for lunch under $10 bucks for most items and about average around $15 bucks for diner I would definitely have to come back for more of their house specialties. That would also be a good time to really judge service and see if food qualities are the same as on a private party such as this was. I just hope that if they will try the night club route that the wrong element won't find their way here and give this place a bad rep like the now closed restaurant club Felicita by the Rockville courthouse same owner I believe. They also have a location in Manassas, VA. So this will be another to be continue story on this spot and I definitely look forward to my quick return.
