By far the best ribs ever. Great burgers, chicken, and bread too! Can get a little noisy when the bar crowd is in but still a good place to take the family.

First, if you have a wood paneling phobia- avoid this place like the plague. I felt like I was eating in my parents 1970's rec room. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a rather surly woman who was fanning herself with menus. (It appeared that they were having an issue with the hvac in certain areas, as when I went to the bar area to use the restroom, it was really warm in there.) Our server was a very young guy, but he was friendly and attentive. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich, in a weirdly named style that escapes my memory. It was okay... Although the sauce tasted very Chinese BBQ pork to me, and not remotely what I would expect from a BBQ restaurant. I opted for the BBQ pork loin special, and it was good- although it wasn't very hot when it came out and lacked any semblance of BBQ sauce, so grilled may have been a more accurate term. I felt that the prices seemed high for the quality of food and rather casual atmosphere. Would we go back? Probably. It wasn't the worst meal we've had in town, and I like to support locally owned businesses.

I was in town on business staying at the hotel next door and I smelt BBQ so I thought I would give them a try. Thought this would be a less than friendly establishment since I am a black so I was just going to get my food and leave but actually the food was good and the staff was great so I stayed a while. Had the ribs and they were great.

My family started going to Adam's for the live music on Thursday nights. The entertainment is great, but the service is consistently horrific. It's the kind of place that can't perform adequately when they are busy. It's like they go into panic mode with a crowd. During out last visit we sat in the bar section at a booth, waited 30 minutes and finally had to flag someone down just to have a waiter sent over. The hostess is worthless 90% of the time. We begrudgingly finally placed our order, but by this time we were annoyed. The waiter didn't even apologize for his tardiness and half the time he could be seen watching the football game on one of the television screens rather then being attentive to the patrons. Overall, it's kind of an average place. The food is mediocre. We tend to stick with the appetizers and sample them. The pulled pork is not good, and the "Delmarvalous" chicken was sub-par. Be prepared for the noise as well.

When you walk in, you have a very home-like feel at the host station. I sat at the bar and had immediate service. The bar area was pretty big and they had a pool table off to the side (bonus). They have a chalkboard with all their drafts on tap, many of which were local. Menu does not have all their listed sides, but the bartender can tell you when you order. Not a huge menu, but a good selection. I'm a fan of doing a few things the RIGHT way, and this really is a place for ribs. They fell apart when I picked them up and were very tasty. I ordered mashed potatoes and applesauce as my sides. The potatoes were a large portion and balanced the bbq sauce flavor nicely. The applesauce was standard cinnamon. The staff and locals really made you feel like home. For a traveler, I felt right at home!

Such a wonderful place - not sure which is best - the beach or the ribs. Well, actually it is the beach. But this is definitely worth the trip!

The only good stuff are the bbq pulled beef, sweet potato fries and the Mac and cheese. The wait staff at the front are loud as Hell and don't shut up! Every time and I mean I've given them three chances, and they failed every time. The owner who others are saying is nice needs to realize he's going to loose business with those loud mouths there at the front.

Our family has enjoyed Adam's for years and all the food is tasty with good service. The wings and ribs are special!! Last week 7 of us went to celebrate a birthday (if you friend Adam's on FBook you eat free on birthday!) and a couple of items were unavailable. Our friendly waiter told the owner, Pete who visited the table and delivered a special and delicious substitute meal. This took place just before closing on a slow Sunday night which was impressive.

Adam's used to be the perfect happy hour place. Reasonable prices and the best buffalo chicken wings or tenders I have ever had. It may still be good for happy hour, but otherwise Adam's has become so-so. Don't get me wrong, the buffalo wings and tenders are still awesome, but the new menu and pricing isn't the best value. The menu has gotten limited and prices have increased. Can't knock anybody for trying to make a living however, just feel that the value is not always there for the price. Besides the buffalo chicken (wings, tenders, wraps) the cuban panini is amazing! The ribs are solid , and the beer selection is pretty good too! Don't forget them for catering, the Black Diamond catering side of Adam's is excellent. Been to one event with their food and it was top notch food.

I hosted a party in the banquet room at Adams recently. The room was set up exactly like i asked for wIth very little instruction. All of the guests loved the food and our waitstaff was fast and did a great job, even at breaking everyone's checks up individually. I definitely recommend Adam's!

Definitely excellent ribs! I also like anything "Delmarvalous" (it's chicken or whatever topped with their crab dip). I have to agree with another reviewer to avoid the pulled pork sandwich as it was indeed way too vinegary. Crab cakes are pretty good. Overall, good food at good prices. Service has been consistently good. Can be loud -- especially when you're seated in the bar area. When it's really busy, they may seat you in the lonely back room -- it gets cold in there as well as lonely!

I was at the bar, had some really good drinks and got the wings and potato skins. The wings are the BEST in town! Since then I have been having naughty dreams about their meaty, juicy, flavorful, sweet and spicy wings! The loaded potato skins with their cheesy sour cream, green onion and bacon topping was the right accompaniment to my burning tongue! I've been dying to go back! Also, I had their pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches at a party and they were AMAZING!!! I have NEVER liked American pulled meat anything (now, I LOVE Hawaiian pulled pork!) but these sandwiches were everything I wanted in a pulled meat sandwich!!!

Noisy bar atmosphere (there was a game on when I was there for lunch). The food looked really good on my plate except for the old garnish (why put garnish if it looks bad I say!). They served a very generous portion of pulled pork that looked fresh...too bad that they doused it in very acidic vineger (supposed to be NC style). The vineger sauce left my mouth raw and tasted like plain white vinegar...Yuck! I've had plenty of NC style and this simply was not at all up to par! Oh well! I was too tired to complain so I ate some of it and the portion of standard slaw that was good and fries (they have malt vinegar which was nice)...I really was disappointed with the overly vinegarness of my sandwich. Service was friendly...and the beer on tap was good. But since I came for the pulled pork I can only rate this place two starys because MEH I've definately experienced better.

I met a large group here for dinner on a week night. We did not have reservations but they gladly accomodated us without much fuss. Service was OK but it was clear the server was a little taxed at times. She did alright with keeping up with our drink and bar orders with out too much trouble. We ordered an assortment of apps and they were brought out in a timely manner. I think most everyone was pleased with their meals. Ironically no one ordered the ribs so I'm not sure if they live up to their namesake. Prices were OK. Overall I personally would have given a two start rating because I wasn't blown away however because of the service and ability to handle a large party, I'm upgrading to 3 stars.

Its called Adam's Ribs. Go for the Ribs! If you don't like loud bar atmosphere, don't sit in the bar area. Adam's has been doing ribs right for like 20 years now all over Maryland. Typically I prefer smoked ribs but Adams is the exception. I believe they use a higher quality meat than other local rib joints and slow roast them before they hit the grill. The sauce is mixed with honey and works very well. Not sure about all the other options since I only really go there for ribs.

Okay, so I went all the way in Salisbury, MD and looking for a place to dine. I found this side of the road spot called Adam's as I had a taste for ribs. The place has plenty of parking and it's really hard to choose where to park when there are only maybe 5 cars in the lot and about 50 spaces, lol! If you're paying with cash but don't have any on you, GREAT NEWS, They have an ATM!! Bad news is that it's always empty so get cash before you go there, otherwise they do accept credit and debit cards. I had the bufallo wing appetizer and let me tell you... there isn't a great deal to making bufallo wings but... everyone can't do it. Fortunately for Adam's, they did a pretty adequate job. I had a half rack of ribs and got full... they were some pretty big baby-backs. I had a combo platter which was a half rack of the babys and a sirloin steak. I like my steak as well as possible without burning it and few places are able to accomplish this but Adams was and it was tender and juicy... Just great. The downside to our experience at Adam's was probably the drinks. I think the only thing worse than not enough alcohol in a drink is WAY TOO much. Overall, this was pretty decent place with pretty good food. I visit Salisbury a couple times a year, so I wouldn't have problem eating there again... minus the alcohol.

Very unimpressive place. Ribs - you get better in a cryovac pac from Sam's; suggested side of fries was cold & unsalted low end foodservice poorly cooked, waitstaff is inexperienced. Sorry I went once, won't again.

I have had great service and love the ribs with a side of rare steak...great every time! the only downside to my experience is that is awful noisy because the bar, if your looking for a romantic quiet dinner wear earplugs! It's a fun place to dine and I will be back:)

Me and my girlfriend decided to grab a bite to eat from Adam's this past Saturday night. Good crowd at the bar with the dining room about 30% full I'd say. The first thing I noticed was some slimy lettuce all over our menus. I could have done without that. Our waitress came and took our drink orders and we ordered our entrees shortly after. I ordered their signature dish, a full rack of baby back ribs ($20) that came with two sides. Mine were French fries and coleslaw. The portion size was great. The ribs have a smokey flavor to them. Some parts were a little dry but overall they were pretty tasty. The fries could have been better, but the coleslaw was great. My girlfriend got a burger "Fruitland Style". She said it was very good. Overall, a good meal. The only complaints would be that it was a little noisy being as we were close to the bar (not great for a quiet dinner), our waitress wasn't very attentive, and that slimy lettuce on our menus. I can see myself eating here again, but it's not a place that will have me coming in every week or month.

The ribs are epic but not late as they have gotten a bit dry. Friendly staff And patrons. Meet Pete the owner - great guy!
