Le sigh....the BEST Five Guys location & staff EVER are no more. This location has shut down. I hear they will be re-opening near Ritchie Marketplace, but not until February...meaning they will lose this fantastic staff. It is a sad time. We'll miss you guys!

This location has been permanently closed for about 4 months now. I have no idea why they went out of business. But one minute they were there the next minute they were gone. Don't waste your time trying to find this place.

I hate the location. I really wish they would get a cleaning crew for the parking lot. With that said, there is plenty of parking. Staff is fast and friendly, and the place is clean. Burgers are great, Cajun fries are stupid spicy but, oh so good. My mouth was on fire for about an hour LOL. Refills are free :8)

Let me start by saying that I love me some Five Guys. There is no other place I'd rather grab a burger and some fries. This location just came up short for me. Five Guys is known for their delicious burgers and very generous portion of fries - they fill up a small cup, place it in the bag, then shovel extra deliciousness in the bag. My hubby and I usually get one order of fries and share them. Well, at this location I was VERY SAD to see them fill up the fry cup, place it in the bag, and then very carefully measure the extra portion to throw in the bag. Call me a fatty, but when I indulge and make a trip to Five Guys, I expect to pig out. This was not a fulfilling portion to share. Also, when we entered the establishment we were not greeted. Fine, whatever, it's a fast food joint. We approached the registers to order, staring longingly at the employees behind the counter, but they didn't speak up. Eventually, someone grunted something to indicate it was okay for us to speak, and we placed our order. While we waited for our food to be cooked, other customers came in and were given a very warm greeting. I was a little bummed we weren't given equal treatment. The burgers and the fries we did have were very tasty, per usual. And if you've never visited a Five Guys before, be warned that little cheeseburger=1 hamburger patty and cheeseburger=2 hamburger patties.

I love five guys. I eat there a lot. The burgers are fresh to order and you feel like a kid with all the toppings you have to choose from. The French fries are fresh to order and fried in peanut oil. However, This location dosent follow directions well. Simple request of Cajun fries. My fries did not have Cajun on them, I had to request again after I had already sat down.

The Five Guys in Penmar Shopping Plaza is very clean. The people behind the counter have manners and a smile. I go in and sit down to eat most times. The music is soul music and they play it loud. I like oldies but goodies so I don't mind. Good burgers served fresh and hot, and too many fries for one small person to eat

I tried to call and I was on hold forever. Actually, I was beginning to get upset because I was trying to order takeout before the weather for worse. Anyway, I finally order my food over the phone, but I was less than three minutes away. When I walked in, I noticed that there were a decent number of people in the restaurant, so I got over my frustration. The cooks and cashiers were so upbeat. There was a certain vibe about this Five Guys that I haven't seen in the others. Although they were working quickly, they laughed and interacted with the customers. It was like everyone knew each other. The cashier, Markel, was so nice. He smiled the whole time and made the wait less painful ( it was storming and I was ready to get home). I was there to order my sister a burger since I dont eat meat. She loved her burger. I ordered a grilled cheese, which was quite standard. I really enjoyed the fries even though the grease made me ill. That's not a Five Guys problem but a Taheerah problem. Overall, I will definitely recommend going to this Five Guys. Will I be back? Probably not because I don't eat meat and the fries are way too greasy for me.

Five Guys is the same, no matter where you stop. Good burgers, friendly service. Easy parking, right out front. This location is in a strip mall--which seems to be where they are locating all the Five Guys, which are cropping up everywhere. This location was clean, and they got me out quickly, which was a priority when I stopped. The new smaller french fries size is a plus, though they still put too many in there. They could cut it down by another 1/3rd and that would be plenty for me. This location has limited seating, so I would imagine at lunch or other peak times it can be difficult to sit and eat.

Everything was GREAT except if you call ahead still plan to wait in line! I called first and the young lady that took my order was very helpful and personable. She gave me an awesome recommendation that I have now permanently adopted to my order!! Great job

My fiance and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. Earlier, I was thinking, oh man, there's gonna be traffic and a long line. Surprisingly, there was no traffic. In addition, this 5 Guys location was empty except the 5 people who were working there. Man, as soon as we walked in, they greeted us and then immediately went to their respective station. Talk about efficiency! Soon, other people starting coming in and they got the same friendly service. I am definitely coming back as I got friendly customer service which is a rarity these days. Oh yeah, I loved the burger and fries I had.

I am pretty ambivalent when it comes to five guys. It taste the same wherever I go. It's fresh, it's good, and it's Five Guys consistent. This particular location has the added bonus of great customer service. I was greeted very friendly and was walk-through with my order with great enthusiasm and patience. My pick up was just as enthusiastic. In the time I was there other customers were greeted very quickly and orders were taken in an efficient manner. For a Five Guys none of the search engines seem to want to even list, I was impressed.

It is always a pleasant surprise when the workers in a fast food establishment are actually happy to be at work. The crew I stumbled upon were having fun with their work while also handling business. You must give the owner/manager credit for creating this type of atmosphere. I will definitely be back to this location. 5 guys is a great chain bc they put out great food. The service was great which seems to be missing from the surrounding businesses.

Best. Five Guys. Ever! It was obvious that the crew had their system down to a science from the second I walked in! "Customer at the door!" Once I ordered, also a pleasant experience, I was "Wowed", by the perfection of the customer service to all who entered. Conversational, friendly, full of smiles... and you know what... tonight makes the third time we've come back since then! I made a point to compliment everyone including management on the exemplary experience I had. I took pictures that first night, and my son just found out that Ryan and Chris were two of our "burger chefs". Simply awesome. Posting pictures as well.
