This is a little hidden gem in downtown Easton! We found it after stopping in the gun shop (I know, I know) and asking the gun shop guys where we should have lunch. Their first recommendation was this soda fountain, where they ended up getting lunch that day too. It's tucked away in the back of a pharmacy/gift shop and is a legit soda shop / diner. Shakes, onion rings, sandwiches, yum. I had the Rachel, which was greasy, stuffed with turkey, and on fresh rye bread. The pickle was also really yummy. My boyfriend had the Out West, Back East, which is roast beef, cucumber, horseradish mayo, and swiss. SO WEIRD and so strangely satisfying. We also split some frings, a combo of onion rings and fries...the fries were nice and thick, while the onion rings were airy and sweet. I also like that they have Tabasco liberally strewn around the tables. One final thing: the ice was good. I'm oddly into ice and this was the kind that you can bite and it won't hurt you (kiiind of like Sonic's ice). Mmmmm.

The service and food are always good. I have been there many times and will tell all of my friends to go there and enjoy.

While touring the area, we stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a super cute place and the servers are very pleasant, but the food is just okay. We had the soup of the day and sandwiches. I wasn't impressed, but I'm not sure how many options there are in the area (local, quick bite, and casual) and I have very high standards.

I stumbled upon this cute little soda fountain while picking up some band aids. A couple of minor mistakes on the order - the waitress promptly apologized and corrected the errors. The service was very friendly and the food was good.

Was there 15 years ago and back today, equally as quirky, charming and delicious. Fresh from scratch blueberry pancakes, incredible!

Stumbled on this place this morning looking for an alternative to my normal hotel breakfast. The cafe is tucked away in the back of an old fashioned pharmacy and has great small town charm. Service was fast and friendly and food was above average. Menu is small but adequate and lunch offerings look more exciting. I'll come back.

If you are lucky enough to head to Easton or Oxford, MD for a long weekend, you must visit Hills! IN the back of a retro-pharmacy this soda fountain let's you feel as though you stepped back in time. The food is simple but delicious. The best grilled Cheese Sandwich I have had in my life! Tuna is great, milk shakes fantastic and really so much fun. Breakfast is great too. If you are in town you must give it a try.

I was really excited to check out Hill's Soda Fountain and Cafe, as this little diner is located in the back of a pharmacy store. They offer a breakfast and lunch menu, featuring homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, shakes, and homemade juices. When we got there, we were a little too early for the lunch menu, but the server stated that it was no problem and for us to just sit and relax for a bit :D I ended up trying a cup of their Soup of the Day (it was Chicken Noodle - this was literally one of the best chicken noodle soups I've tried!!! It was hot and so fresh, and the noodles were cooked perfectly (al dente)! There were chunks of lovely white chicken meat as well as spinach - the broth was hearty, and you can add salt/pepper if you want, but not necessary!), the Fountain Grilled Cheese (mixture of provolone, jack, and cheese that was melded and melted perfectly, so each resulted in melty-cheesy-stringiness :P It wasn't at all overly greasy, and came on a nice thick white bread (you can choose multi-grain, marble rye, brioche, or a baguette roll as well); comes with a small gherkin pickle)), and instead of the chips, I opted for a side of Onion Petals (lightly battered; these were just okay). I also tried their ice cream soda (club soda with your choice of ice cream flavor and syrup - I chose a vanilla ice cream with cherry syrup - I wasn't a fan of this, as it was just not flavorful for me (our friendly server even offered to pour in extra syrup!) - I did appreciate the large shake cup that it came in!) and the JMX (Jen's Magic Elixir; freshly-squeezed fruit juices that are offered in different varieties; I had the 'Flu Fighter,' which was a combination citrus and ginger - very refreshing and yummy!). Service was very friendly and lovely, and the place sees to be a favorite spot for the locals. They have a little over 20 seats, including one booth (for parties larger than 4) 2-seater tables, and some counter seating. Parking is around the side, where there are reserved spots for Hill's patrons. I definitely would love to come back and get more of their Chicken Noodle soup as well as try out their other homemade soups, sandwiches, and daily lunch specials :D +Chicken Noodle Soup (!!!) +Fountain Grilled Cheese +JMX (freshly-squeezed juices) +daily specials (check out their FB or the sign up at the front of the store) +located in the back of Hill's pharmacy +friendly staff :D +reserved parking spots for Hill's patrons around the side

Quirky little place actually nestled in the back of the pharmacy. Skylight makes up for the fact that there are no windows. Seats for 28 people, tops. I had a simple but thoroughly enjoyable breakfast sandwich here. Friendly service. Decent coffee.
