We travel from Philly to Easton every weekend and when we get here on Friday night we call Giovanni's as soon as we get n. The food is always hot and delicious when it gets here! Haven't had a bad meal! We love it and besides the delivery service is awesome!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We have ordered food from here several times and have good service about half the time. But the last time we ordered my chicken BUFFALO cheesesteak didn't have any buffalo sauce on it. But we decided to give it one more try. When the delivery came my boyfriend checked the food to make sure everything was right and the driver got an attitude with him! Then we called the restaurant and they were rude and unhelpful! Completely disrespectful!! You can bet I will be telling EVERYONE I know to not go here. You cannot treat customers like this!!! Wish I didn't have to give them a single star!!!

I got a chicken Caesar salad. Big portion. OK food. Decent. No huge complaints. Reasonably priced at about $8.

I stopped in for take-out on the way home from OC and I was almost deterred because of the rating but then realized the first reviewer may not see subs as I do. I feel the messier the sub the better, especially if I were eating a sub covered in marinara sauce. Having to use a fork means I'm eating a stuffed sub. So my husband and I proceeded. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and my husband had the meatball sub. The cashier was super friendly, the place seemed pretty clean to me, I even took a peak in the restroom and it just looked like a bathroom, wasn't the Ritz but again, it's a sub shop. The subs were good, nothing crazy awesome but yummy. If you're looking for the best cheese steak in America you may be disappointed. If you're hungry and in the mood for a decent sub I would suggest swinging through.

We stopped there last Sunday on our way back to DC because my bro-in-law said it was a good place to get an Italian sub------I begged to differ. My kids got an Italian cold cut and a sausage parmigiana sub...........the sausage sub literally fell apart when my son lifted to eat and had to use a fork for it, he said it was nasty. It was the sloppiest sub I have seen in my life. My daughter's Italian sub was dry as a heck, she said it was nasty too. What really got my stomach churning was the nasty bathrooms-----my kids went to the bathroom while I place their order and I went to check on them I couldn't believe how dirty the toilet was (looks like it hadn't been clean in forever). That was really a turn off for me because I'm wondering just how clean the restaurant was. Whelp, my family and I agree that Wawa works better for us from here on out. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!! UGH!!

I haven't eaten in Giovanni's but have ordered delivery or stopped by to pick up. Therefore, I can't speak to the ambience or cleanliness. However, the delivered food has always been pretty good. The pizza and calzones are good, I wasn't as crazy about one of the sandwiches that I got there once. The delivery guys are usually pretty nice too.

I have been going to Giovanni for years. Sometimes they have great customer service, other times not so great. They do however have great cheese steaks. I went to school in Philadelphia and usually do not get cheese steaks outside of philly, but giovanni is one of my exceptions ! Now if they could only have friendly people who seemed happy to work there it would be a awesome place.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
