Frequented over the past six months. Loved the subs and Boar's Head meats. Occasionally slow and a little disorganized (one time an order wasn't relayed to the kitchen when someone got off that had taken my order so I showed up to no food and a 15 minute wait...they didn't seem to be real concerned about it, but I let it slide), but worth overlooking. Terminal experience today, though. Show up to pick up two sandwiches, present a fully punched out sandwich card with six additional punches on it. Those six came from various staffers who told me that they were 'out of cards' and so would overpunch this one till the new ones came and I could redeem it. Three different people had done this. I'm told today they have discontinued the cards. I was irritated, not because I wouldn't have bought the sandwiches in the past, but that I had purchased them expecting I was working toward another free one as THREE different staffers had told me. It was just an additional irritation that everyone doesn't know what they are doing, since the owner told me they had discontinued the program 'some time ago'...which made it clear to me that the running out of cards was the end of the program - only half the staff (and at least one owner/grownup) didn't seem to know it. The 'owner' in the back told the cashier to accept the card (which he did act like it was doing me a favor...the card had 16 stamps on it, why would he NOT accept it?), but I did comment through the window that his staff had continued to punch the card as if the program was ongoing, and now I'm finding out it wasn't, which was irritating. (Ideally, a partial credit towards another sub would have been nice, but an apology would have been perfectly acceptable.) All of a sudden, he was up front and yelling at me. At one point he told me 'he didn't give a s--t" if I ever came back there. He repeated this several times, while talking VERY loudly. I pointed to my own shirt and said I owned a store, too, and I'd never talk to a customer like he was talking to me. He said he 'wasn't afraid of me' (I have no idea where that came from) and repeated that 'he didn't give a s--t.' Actually, he said that numerous times. He seemed to ignore the point I was making about his staff continuing to punch the card and telling me they were 'out of cards' rather than the program being discontinued. He even pointedly asked me 'who were these PEOPLE?' like I was making it up. I told him at least one of those 'people' had been one of his co-owners. He still didn't apologize, he just kept ranting and cursing. He also said 'the customer is not always right.' I don't know what I was saying that was 'wrong', but I do know that if you'd rather be 'right' than bend over backwards to make your customers happy when something goes awry, you'd better have really really good food. :) Which they do, but... I told him I had recommended his place to many people and had been there at least a dozen times over the past six months, but would not be returning. The food is great, but an owner with this sort of anger issue and customer service doesn't get my money. By the way, the young man who was in the middle of this handled it very well. He should give the owner some lessons.

Had the chicken parm. Bread was awesome, definitely tasted home made. I like my chicken a little thinner and crispier than it was prepared here. Will definitely be back

Absolutely outstanding food. The pizzas are delicious and the sandwiches are fantastic. For the price the food cannot be beaten. The people who work here are super friendly and make you want to come back.

Got the bbq pizza and it was almost finished before I got home. Enough said. Will be coming back here often. So glad we found this place. The crust is delicious.

Ate here twice. Their operation hours are whack. The service and quality is inconsistent. This place thrives on the Damascus market because there isn't anywhere else to eat... I've eaten it a few times. Didn't love the prices. Every time I say to myself I'll give it another try the sign on the wall says they are closed...

Hey. This place is great. A breath of fresh air to a town that has had little culinary change over 15 years. Its an Italian carryout. I've had the pizza, subs, and calzones. They are all great with fresh ingredients and taste great. The subs have boars head meat with those hard to pronounce Italian deli meats that taste awesome and will kick the living shit out of any Subway sub. There is an interesting/delicious group of specialty pizzas. I like this place. If you are in or around Damascus and want some Italian take out go here. When will they make a sit down restaurant? Now that alcohol is allowed in Damascus, hopefully soon.

I went to Pasquale's Deli today for the first time despite living in Damascus for about 13 years. A friend told me their Italian subs were amazing. While I don't usually prefer Italian subs over other ones, I figured I'd give it a try. I was blown away. I got "The Tony V," which is an Italian sub of sorts with a toasted sub roll and Peperoncini's. When I first got it, it looked kinda small. However, when I opened it up, there was no shortage of meats and cheese. The taste was out of this world. It does seem somewhat pricey, but overall I'd get it again. They use Boarhead meats, so that might account for the added cost. But I'm hooked.

Pizza, just so so, you got to be kidding me. The best in town and maybe the best all around. The crust is from Italy and tastes like it! Cheese is from Wisconsin. What is not to like. Heading there now.

Great food and the service is fantastic. The guys working behind the counter are always offering up new items for you to try while you wait for your order. You can't go wrong with one of their subs, but if you haven't tried the tarragon chicken salad you definitely should. The desserts are also a must try, they are made fresh daily.

As a Jersey girl, I love pizza. And I long ago gave up on eating any real pizza in Maryland. That said, Maggi's is the most delicious, satisfying pizza in the area. It quells my cravings, and the desserts aren't bad either. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Thanks Maggi's!

Maggie's is really good. Their deli meats are freshly cut. The subs are one of the best. They also make pizza and soup. They are one of the best sub shops around.

I have been torn about writing this review and hope that our recent experience was the result of an off day. My husband called in our order for pick up, some of our usual favorites. When I arrived, apparently our order was deleted and not ready - even though one of our two sandwiches (tuna salad) was sitting on the counter. I had to wait around 15 - 20 minutes for them to pull together the rest of the order. When I got home, we were surprised to see that our usual stuffed sandwiches were replaced with much skimpier versions and the tuna salad was missing tomatoes and lettuce. For the price you pay for their sandwiches ($8-9), it was worth it for what you received, a good portion of high quality product but not so much on this day. In addition, the tortellini pasta salad was not as good as other pasta salads we have had here. Pizza still tasty as ever. Again, I hope it was an off day. The gentleman working in the back seemed to be grumpy and did offer an apology in the delay of our order. So we will try again someday. Still give Pasquale's a 4 rating based on good pizza and past excellent service and food.

Pizza, 10 out of 10. SUBS 10 out of 10. Need delivery service in Damascus . That would make it even better ! Thanks for the great quality food and service ! Boars head products . They make everything fresh and there's no better local pizza . Go further into Germantown or Mt. Airy still no better pizza or subs !
