So tasty! Always stop here when in that area.
Jimmie cone is a damascus tradition! I have to go a couple times a summer
Drove from Olney to go here. Parking is minimal and kind of tight. There's plenty of places to sit and eat. It is cash only. Service was average. After all this, I still don't see what the big deal is. I got a small twist with rainbow jimmies...the ice cream was OK, nothing amazing. The only amazing thing is we got 2 small cones for 5 dollars and some change. Pricing was very fair, quality of food was average.

Frequented over the past six months. Loved the subs and Boar's Head meats. Occasionally slow and a little disorganized (one time an order wasn't relayed to the kitchen when someone got off that had taken my order so I showed up to no food and a 15 minute wait...they didn't seem to be real concerned about it, but I let it slide), but worth overlooking. Terminal experience today, though. Show up to pick up two sandwiches, present a fully punched out sandwich card with six additional punches on it. Those six came from various staffers who told me that they were 'out of cards' and so would overpunch this one till the new ones came and I could redeem it. Three different people had done this. I'm told today they have discontinued the cards. I was irritated, not because I wouldn't have bought the sandwiches in the past, but that I had purchased them expecting I was working toward another free one as THREE different staffers had told me. It was just an additional irritation that everyone doesn't know what they are doing, since the owner told me they had discontinued the program 'some time ago'...which made it clear to me that the running out of cards was the end of the program - only half the staff (and at least one owner/grownup) didn't seem to know it. The 'owner' in the back told the cashier to accept the card (which he did act like it was doing me a favor...the card had 16 stamps on it, why would he NOT accept it?), but I did comment through the window that his staff had continued to punch the card as if the program was ongoing, and now I'm finding out it wasn't, which was irritating. (Ideally, a partial credit towards another sub would have been nice, but an apology would have been perfectly acceptable.) All of a sudden, he was up front and yelling at me. At one point he told me 'he didn't give a s--t" if I ever came back there. He repeated this several times, while talking VERY loudly. I pointed to my own shirt and said I owned a store, too, and I'd never talk to a customer like he was talking to me. He said he 'wasn't afraid of me' (I have no idea where that came from) and repeated that 'he didn't give a s--t.' Actually, he said that numerous times. He seemed to ignore the point I was making about his staff continuing to punch the card and telling me they were 'out of cards' rather than the program being discontinued. He even pointedly asked me 'who were these PEOPLE?' like I was making it up. I told him at least one of those 'people' had been one of his co-owners. He still didn't apologize, he just kept ranting and cursing. He also said 'the customer is not always right.' I don't know what I was saying that was 'wrong', but I do know that if you'd rather be 'right' than bend over backwards to make your customers happy when something goes awry, you'd better have really really good food. :) Which they do, but... I told him I had recommended his place to many people and had been there at least a dozen times over the past six months, but would not be returning. The food is great, but an owner with this sort of anger issue and customer service doesn't get my money. By the way, the young man who was in the middle of this handled it very well. He should give the owner some lessons.
Had the chicken parm. Bread was awesome, definitely tasted home made. I like my chicken a little thinner and crispier than it was prepared here. Will definitely be back
Absolutely outstanding food. The pizzas are delicious and the sandwiches are fantastic. For the price the food cannot be beaten. The people who work here are super friendly and make you want to come back.

By far the best fried chicken ever... they must sprinkling some crack on it because I can't get enough... There's no way to describe it. Nothing comes close to the fried chicken here. This place is a small mom and pop store. This is the only you'll find anywhere. As you walk you'll see workers breading fresh chicken in their super secret crackalicious breading. The shop is very small and is more of a carry out type of shop. They have 2 or 3 very small table in the store. I sat and order about 10 dollars worth of food. The food and service was so good I left a 3 dollar tip. I handed the 3 dollars to the young waitress and she had a "what do I do with this" type of look on her face. I was like "that's your tip".. and she was ecstatic. Overall a great experience.
Great chicken and burgers, served very fast when you are on the go.
Great Chicken. I even enjoy the breakfast sandwiches they have.

Great local atmosphere, music, drinks, food. Open mike night is fun.
Met with some girlfriends here on Tuesday and it turns out if was karaoke night. It was good to meet Chris and she took great care of us. The food was really good and there was good variety on the menu. Had Seafood Bisque and Salad and it was delicious, they served the salad with a housemade blueberry vinaigrette. The rest of our party had other sandwiches, someone had the Sinatra and it was also good. I ordered the "Twinbrook Deli Twist" as a to go sandwich for my husband and it was very good and true to the original also. Anyone who used to get cold cut subs at the Twinbrook Deli and has a craving for the original, this is the place to go! The coleslaw is homemade and very good. It was nice to dine here and I enjoyed the karaoke, although it was very loud for such a small place, so we did have a hard time hearing each other talk, but we still all had a good time. I had a hot hibiscus tea and it was good. They offer a wide variety of milk shakes and other frozen drinks, smoothies, frappes, as well as hot coffee, lattes, assorted pastries, etc. They are also now serving beer and wine. They have some tables in the back on the patio for summer nights and we might try that next time we come. I would like to come back for Jazz night and make a date of it. If I do, I will post another review. All in all a winner and I am looking forward to a return visit.
This place is good. I looked at the menu, and almost left because prices were a bit steep for a sandwich (9.45). I'm glad I didn't leave. I ordered a smoothie. It was on the sweet side, and grainy(ice chips). I wouldn't recommend the smoothies! I also ordered a Stormy Monday sandwich. It was amazing. All meat was freshly cut, the flavor was perfect! The one downside is they didn't have any whole grain sub rolls (they do have whole grain bread, but not I. The firm of a baguette). I'd go here again. Decor leaves a lot to be desired, but sitting outside on a beautiful day would be ideal :-)

First, I have been going to this restaurant ever since I was a kid. This place is wonderful. Their staff is very friendly, and the service is quick wether you dine in or order carry out, even delivery is spot on with the time frame they give you. The food is the best around and it is well priced. Their pork fried rice is really good! If you want the best Chinese in Damascus, great prices and service, come here!
I still think this is the best Chinese food in the area (and the delivery guy is always so nice) but I have to take a star away for their lateness. We ordered at 6:30pm and were quoted 45 minutes. Called at 7:30 and were told the driver was out and we were the 4th stop. 8:00pm and we are starved, husband is grumpy, baby's bedtime is approaching and still nothing. I call back and am told that it will be another 15-20 minutes because the food is cooked right when the driver is ready? Not even sure what that meant. We weren't offered any kind of discount or anything. Husband said to cancel but it was too late to come up with another dinner idea. Food (with the friendly delivery guy) shows up at 8:30. The guy said the restaurant made him wait until there were enough orders to make his trip worth it. Annoying. Food was delicious of course so they are lucky I'm only taking off 1 star and will still order from there.
We come here regularly, order the diner special, and they are flexible in changing the soup for another spring roll (we are not soup people). The food always comes out fast, and the service is always good. They are very friendly there. We always get general tso. It's very good! Definitely recommend

This Taco Bell has fallen under hard times. It is connected to a KFC and their sign has been missing for a few months. None the less they still have fantastic food that helps bowel movements. Every now and then they get the food wrong but they always correct their mistake if informed( sometimes with free food ). It takes the same amount of time if you go in and order or go through the drive thru. The drive thru can be a bit slow, they need more workers. BUT the food is always on point.

This is our go-to place to get dinner when we don't want to cook. We love the Philly cheesesteak - fresh bread, nice cheese to meat ratio. The pizza is of course great too. Pineapple and ham, or sausage are the two we usually go for. A little greasy, but nothing a little napkin blotting can't fix! We always call for carry out, not sure how the inside service is.
All I ever get here is the chicken fingers and fries (which is on the kids menu) but man-oh-man is it good. First, the chicken, real chicken, is crunchy on the outside and juicy when you bite into it. The fries, which they are piled high, are perfectly hand cut and deep fried so that they're crisp on the outside but soft in the center. My friends and I go here weekly for take out and we love that they're open late!
Really good pizza, really bad service. Pizza was delivered to the table cold. Had to take it back. It was re-delivered to the table after being sent through the oven again, which I personally love (crispier pizza), but I'm sure some people don't.

This food is as good as it gets for Damascus. Food I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and Spring Rolls via phone, carryout. . Shrimp Lo Mein - The shrimp they normally make it with are the size of salad shrimp. I've had some place make it with medium-sized shrimp. I requested they use larger shrimp, and they charged me a dollar per each large shrimp. They do not add many veggies. The overall flavor was great (not extremely salty or oily)- normal prices are reasonable, and it's good they accommodate order requests - it's just more expensive that way :-/ Spring Rolls seemed pre made - nothing authentic. Because I ordered carry out I would have expected them to include forks, sauces, fortune cookies in the bad. They had a little stand that was inconveniently placed, and only pointed it out when asked. The lady that took my order of the phone was a bit abrasive, English is not her first language, and do not expect great customer service. IF you want good food - this is the place to go...but do not have high expectations for customer service. I'd also recommend printing out a coupon before going.
My favorite of the cheaper Chinese food places in the area. The staff is very nice and the food never disappoints! The best part is that it never seems to be busy, but that could go for all places in Damascus.
Quintessential neighborhood delivery/take out Chinese restaurant. My family has tried all of the Chinese restaurants in Damascus (yes, all three!) and beyond, and this quickly became our go to. It's a fairly small dining room in a strip mall, but the food is consistently the best Chinese around. Good quality meats and produce, flavorful sauces, fair prices and generous portions (they pile plates and stuff containers full). Note that the delivery range is only three miles and the order must be $15 or more to qualify for delivery.

The staff is super friendly and helps out within the community! I feel like every time I go in there people are having a fundraiser to help support community sports or music along with charity fundraisers. The food is amazing and its awesome to have a chipotle now down the street. The only down fall is I feel like they give less food in their burrito bowls then any other chipotle I have been to
Extremely disappointed. The app was not working to order ahead so we called it in. When I got there nothing was ready which is no big deal but then a lady made the burrito so quick it was a record braking time. See the photo. Now I know why. This shouldn't happen. I mean at this point just take time and make it right. This is what came out of the bag. There was tons of hot sauce and incredibly the least amount of chicken cheese etc ever from any chipotle. They get another chance but hope to hear from someone there that cares . ( ironic see the saying on the bag)
One would think, chain restaurants are the same everywhere. Not so. I am a bit of a connoisseur of Chipotles thanks to my husband. This one, not so good. Only one of the three employees was friendly; the other two had the vacant stare/sullen thing going on. The food was a little wonky too. The guac didn't smell or taste 'right', and the chicken was burnt. There's not a lot of options for food in Damascus, especially places open until 10 on weeknights. This Chipotle needs to improve its customer service and its quality.

The Pizza is just like every papa johns pizza and the staff is very friendly! I have never had an issue with delivery times being super long
Place has been here for years. Consistency is a problem, especially on delivery orders paid by cash. Over the years we have good service and product when ordered online and paid via credit card. However, that all changes when you pay cash. Most evening drivers don't read the instructions, the order is incorrect and the locations response is "Gee we're sorry, we could run you over the missing stuff, but it will be an hour or so..." This last order was a bit much, as it was wrong and came with a topping we didn't ask for HAIR. 2 clumps of it! Order else where, I know I will be
Ordered from here last night for the first and last time. Simply put, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Delivery took 70 minutes, and the delivery driver made no apologies for how late he was. Giving him a tip seemed like we were being robbed. The pizza itself was awful, poorly made and it did not taste fresh at all, the dough seemed stale and chewy. Came to Yelp to read other reviews after our experience, wish I had read them first! Horrible service, horrible food - avoid!
