Best kept secret in DC!!! Prices are great. Food is freshly made. Be prepared for an Authentic Latin American experience, including speaking in Spanish with your waitress. This is a mom and pops type of spot, where the food is like it's coming out of momma'a kitchen. My wife and I return here every 2 or 3 months. We love it!!

Shoot me now and put me out of my misery. In short, the food was bland, the salsa was basically tomato sauce and the customer service sucked. I was sick (could not breathe out of my nose, which meant I could barely taste anything) at a house party where pupusas were being hand made in the back yard. I was sick, and I could taste more flavor in those pupusas that I could at Pupuseria Morazan. The pupusas here are an ill representation of El Salvadorian food. Trust me when I say DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. You're welcome.

This review is for delivery only and considering the options that are available in the area. For delivery it rocks. We have only ordered the Peruvian items, and love the ceviche which is a super flavorful and generous portion of mixed seafood, lime, and salt. It's a good deal for $17. The Bistec a lo Pobre (steak and eggs) is pretty solid. The Papa Rellena (stuffed potato) was not bfs favorite, it tasted weird he said and was steak, not ground beef like it should be (or like he was expecting). The Salpicon de pollo (chicken salad) was pretty awesome, and I don't like mayo too much, but this was tasty. And the Paltas Rellenas (stuffed avocado) was great too. Everything except the ceviche was served with lettuce and a TON of rice. A little too much rice. Bf seemed to like everything even though every bite he took I would be like, "Is it Peruvian, does it taste Peruvian?" (the owners are from El Salvador) and he always said yes. Except for the stuffed potato that was not ground beef. Mostly though, I like it that it is a ton of food and they deliver. I have driven by the place before, and I was a little shocked that THAT was where the take-out stuff came from (it looks like someone looted Taco Bell).

My favorite Salvadorian place in the Brentwood area. I've only actually ever ordered the tacos and pupusas, but both are so good! Today I got 4 tacos. The langua is always so good. The steak was really great and the pork was on the fried chicharron side, which was really tasty. The chicken I would not get again- it was too dry and unflavored. Their tortillas are really good. We order to go, and it usually takes than a bit over ten minutes

The only reason they get 2 stars is because they deliver but other than that I'm sorry but it kinda sucks. My husband and i ordered about 4 times from this place everything seemed to be fine the first couple of times but then they brought me a carne asada with tortillas which were expired! Now if you are a stay at home mom and cook tortillas, you damn well know how they're supposed to taste and smell. Now that was just horrible i did file a complaint. The other times they just seemed to have forgotten some of the side etc. plus prices are def not affordable ... Next time ill cook my damn self and save money .. Waste tbh

I had the ceviche mixto. It was very good. In fact, I took another order of the same to go! The inside needs some work. There's stuff just inside the door in a glass window that looks like its been there for 6-7 hours. The tablecloths had a clear plastic covering on them that was a bit of an eyesore and the interior ceiling showed clear signs of water damage. I thought the waitress was nice and had a pretty smile but then I ignored her because I'm married and don't need to be noticing that in random ladies. There is a question of professionalism at the restaurant. I say that because while I was eating, it looked like the entire staff congregated around the entry area as someone showed up to sell them sweaters and shirts and stuff. If I were the owner I'd keep that sorta stuff outside. I wanted to give this place 4 stars, but the broken-down interior and the random vendor forced me to drop it to three stars.

Love their pupusas, soups & ceviche. Delivery can take a while, but it's worth it.

Rating? A BIG 0! I had a horrible experience in this restaurant. The staff is sooooo RUDE!!! I went just a few minutes ago to try their food. As I was looking at their menu, a woman in the counter asked me if I'm going to order. I said i'm not yet ready as it was my first time visiting their restaurant. After I said that, that woman rolled her eyes on me! Wow! What a nice treatment of their customer. And to think that I was the only customer that they have that time. It was not even a minute after i set foot in that restaurant and I was out! A big big mistake to go to this restaurant. I'm not going to go there ever!!! And i'm spreading the words to my friends who live within this area so i could spare them from rudeness!

The food is good....really good. The service...NOT SO MUCH. They ignore you like heck, even when you are attempting to get their attention. If you order ahead (Even 30 min ahead) you still have to wait. Sometimes they don't give you what you ordered.... and completely over priced considering their weak customer service. It's not the language barrier either (Yo hablo español), its just the employees lack of professionalism. I will give 5 stars to the the owners son though, he's the only one that has some sense.
