    Every neighborhood needs panera

Not perfect but they're great at what they do. Whether it's a quick bagel and coffee on my morning commute or mac and cheese for the kids for lunch like today, Panera Bread stays consistent with the quality of the food, the friendly service and overall convenience. Their wifi is a plus and their prices are fair for what you get. Great Job Panera!!

Sooo, it's a Panera everybody knows what it's about so why am I reviewing it, might you ask? Well because they have a new menu item, that's why. The broth bowls! I'm on their lovely mailing list and received an email to watch a video in order to save some duckets on the new broth bowls, I do this, and POW! a half off coupon is loaded onto my myPanera card. Pretty exciting, huh? So I tried the soba noodle and chicken bowl. What I got was a hearty bowl of yummy broth, and semi seasoned chicken....lol. I think it is better than what comes in the salad, I mean way better. The flavors in the broth were on point and the added veggies (think cabbage, carrots and the like) were so very fresh. The noodles tasted good and weren't soggy either. The bowl was a total treat (low fat too), and a surprise from what I'm used to. Like most meals, you get your choice of a side, and there is a slight upcharge for a salad or sandwich. In my opinion though, it is totally filling by itself. I totally dug it, and I'd probably get it again.

I love this location, it's always a pleasant experience when I go. The staff is always friendly and service swift. I don't really experiment too much with the menu. My favorites are the Asiago bacon egg and cheese, chicken avocado salad and the orange scone. All 3 are great but that orange scone is something special. I don't know if it's a seasonal item, but I think it is. I'll be sad to see it go.

Seeing as though this Panera is located in Bowie Town Center, it's usually pretty busy and can have really long lines. Nevertheless, it's like every other Panera in the area that I've been too. Great customer service, ample dine-in seating, and a vast selection of foods/drinks. They provide fresh, rib sticking and fun foods for the young and the old. Free WiFi is available and it's the perfect place to meet up for a quick informal bite to eat or group session/meeting for school or work. All and all, I enjoy this location, but I don't frequent it as much anymore because it's a bit to crowded for my taste.

Great restaurant to grab a quick bite. I have been here multiple times and every time I eat the same people who are smiling and are eady to help you. I love all the foods in here, but my favorite is the Napa Valley almond chicken sandwich. I would like to go there once a week. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who would like to get a casual bite.

My friend and I stop by occasionally whenever we hang out at bowie town center. We LOVE the Panera iced green tea. I like the setup of the place. Whenever there's a booth in a restaurant, I go for it. The food always comes out quickly, no longer than 6 minutes. Free wifi is a plus.

EXCELLENT! I went to this PB one day early in the morning to have some time with my daughter and to grab a quick bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted cheerfully so early in the morning. Customer service was great! I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and my daughter got a steak and egg on a croissant. We were both very happy with our order. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfy. Clean tables and floors. I will be returning!

A great place to dine in. This is one of the biggest panera breads I have seen and their ambience is great. Food tastes great as other panera breads. You just add better location and seating area. Overall love it eat here anytime.

Good food, good service. Lunch time is always packed but breakfast time is a good time as there aren't lines. Just up to par with all the other Panera breads out there.

I love the quick and nice service at this location.. I have gone there to study, meet up with friends and also when I had to wait for my appointments in that area...

This is exactly what you would expect when you visit a Panera Bread location. The only real pain about this location is the parking. It is located in the Bowie Town Center and this location is on one of the exit/entrance roads. If you were standing in front of the Panera there are only about 20 parking spots or so being shared by a large 6-10 stores. There is ample additional parking in surrounding lots but it is a short walk.

99.9% Satisfaction. Quick prompt service, by pleasant professional and effective staff. Always a winning combination. Offering a varied menu of soups, salads, pastas, sandwiches and seasonal items. Real fresh food is served here! Free WiFi is an added bonus!

I really like this Panera The food is of course delicious(I'm partial to the bacon turkey bravo) and the atmosphere is just right. I've been to bible studies here, planned events on my computer here all in this cozy, homey vibed shop. Coffee is free refills and always fresh! Thumbs up Panera.

I try different things depending on the season but the broccoli and cheddar soup is a staple for me. The customer service isn't 5 stars. The employees do their job but they aren't particularly friendly. The food is great and the service is speedy. Can't go wrong with a healthy meal from Panera!

Five stars for a chain? As good as it gets? Before you get ready to stone me, please know that for the poor folks of Bowie, this is most definitely the case. There is not a local cafe to work anywhere in site around these parts, so this is truly the best of bad options. The food is fresh and there are plenty of healthy choices. The wi-fi is free. The tea (or coffee if you want that) is hot. The desserts are sweet. The place is clean. The folks are friendly. If you need a quick meet with a friend or business associate and are in this area, this is a great place. Also good if you just want to set up your laptop and get to work yourself for an hour or two. Of course, I would much prefer a real coffee shop that smaller and locally owed and operated, but for the choices that are in Bowie, this place truly is the best - better than the Starbucks or the Caribou Coffee in Crofton.

It's amazing how busy this location is compared to all of the other shops in the center. There has to be at least 10 times the amount of traffic, and though it happens daily the staff is nice, quick and management is professional. Wi-fi is free, you can pick up both At&t, Panera, and Starbucks sitting outside. 4 stars, a well balanced chain, with well balanced food options.

Nice little spot that is good for a quick bite of various options, and may not clog your arteries as quickly as fast food. Their turkey paninis are very very good. The brocoli and cheese soup is decent as well although it could be a little thicker. Salads are decent. The bread is like a rock and could be used as a placeholder or weapon. Their chips suck. Prices are reasonable and service is a little pushy, but prompt. The Town Center makes for an excellent location.

I really like the service and management here. They switched up the menu and the grilled cheese us now on flatbread, not ciabatta. Even after they made it, they offered to make a new one for my daughter because of the confusion without being asked. And they keep the place clean and help bus the tables.

Again, another hit! I got the combo: chicken kale Caesar salad and lemon orzo chicken and kale soup! SO IMPRESSED! Thank you Panera for these new salad and soup selections! They are superb! While I enjoy the new items on the menu, my husband craves the summer strawberry poppy seed chicken salad! It's light and fresh and everything is in season. Two great meals under twenty bucks! The baked chocolate chip cookie is our favorite dessert!

The best part: I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a chain could deliver personalized service when I asked for one scrambled egg to accompany my danish and mocha. The place is bright and clean, with lots of seating for single customers like me who want to sit and use my laptop while enjoying coffee or lunch. It also seems to be the local haven for groups, both biz and social. The only negative for me is the way things are organized. You have to get your own coffee near the door but pick up your food at the opposite extreme. And if you want to warm your danish pastry, you have to dodge folks who are getting their coffee to use a microwave at knee height on the shelf under it. I needed a couple of visits to figure out where everything was. The staff is pleasant, reasonable efficient, but not particularly friendly (compared to Starbucks across the street, for example) to customers (but yes among themselves).

I took mom here about a month ago. She was immediately a fan of the broccoli and cheese soup, but the hibiscus tea she was drinking wasn't sweet at all. I had the black bean soup. It was delicious, warm, and filling. The whole grain miche I got with it was a little stale though. This place is diet-friendly. They display the Calorie information on the menu, suggest low fat options, and supply healthy whole grain breads.

I've had disappointing experiences at other Panera's so was extremely surprised by the good food, cleanliness, and general efficiency of this one. We had three different half sandwiches (cuban, turkey, and a tuna) and three different soups (black bean, broccoli cheese, and cream of tomato). All of them were made with fresh ingredients and were tasty. My only complaint is that the portions are small and we had no leftovers to take with us. Our wheelchair user was able to get around although they could think through keeping path of access easier by moving sign out of the lobby and ensuring a clear way to the bathroom. I think this Panera's is so good it's pulling people away from the other chains in the Bowie center.

Staff was in turmoil for being such a light crowd, couldn't seem to call the orders right from start to finish. Food was =typical quality for Panera.

2.5 stars I am obviously in the minority here, but once again I am not impressed by Panera, and this one is no different. I think if I just stick to pastries and bakery items, it's fine and a solid 3 stars. But the lunch/dinner menu - not that good. I must say whoever is in charge of describing the menu items and taking the photo of how the item is supposed to look gets FIVE STARS. Their perfect use of the right adjectives to make their sandwiches, salads, and soups *sound* superb is just amazing. However the appearance and more importantly taste of said items is poor. I get fooled everytime, since everytime I want to give Panera "one more chance" since everyone else seems to like it so much. I just need to stick the pastries. On my most recent visit, I got an asian-inspired salad with shrimp (not good - barely ate half) and a chicken salad sandwich (too "wet") on some soggy boring bread. Not impressed As far as this location, the dining room was a bit unkept...at least the day I went. The floor was full of crumbs and food as were multiple tables. Maybe it was just that day? I don't know. I will check it out again next time I go (just for pastries - cinnamon crunch bagel - YUM!) and update my review as needed. But I must say the staff was very nice and patient. Why do I mention patience? Because this menu is the most confusing thing ever. Seriously. I had the cashier review it with me a couple times because the combinations had my head spinning. Good thing there wasn't a long line - I would have been "that girl" holding up the whole line with my questions...simplify the menu, Panera!

I absolutely love Panera Bread! I have been coming here for years. It's right in my neighborhood, so on a nice day, I can walk here! I have had many items on there menu and I don't have a bad thing to say about any of it. Whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can't go wrong with Panera Bread! The classic cafe salad and Thai chopped chicken salad are two of my favorites. The whole grain bread that they offer as a side is delicious when served warm. You can't go wrong with there potato chips either. Another favorite are the soufflés that they offer for breakfast!! So yummy! I don't eat pork so I always get the spinach and artichoke. It is probably a million calories but worth it to have every once in a while. The coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos are also consistently good. In my opinion better than Starbucks. My only complaint is that they got rid of their grilled portobello mushroom panini. It was my favorite sandwich. I wish it would come back!!

It does not get much better than Panera when you want a snack. The pastries are DELICIOUS. I love the cinnamon crunch bagel and the peanut butter cookies. They have pretty good drinks as well. We have a Panera right across the street from Starbucks and it is maybe the best combination ever. Their actual sandwiches and stuff are pretty good, I am not crazy about them but they are not bad.

This location can get pretty crowded at lunchtime but I think it's worth the wait. The food has always been tasty and they have plenty of choices. Sometimes I'll do the 'you pick 2' with either a sandwich/salad, sandwich/soup or salad/soup. My current favorite sandwich is the frontega chicken. It's warm with mozzarella cheese; yum. I also like the smokehouse turkey sandwich. Some of the soups can be a little bland but the cream of chicken and wild rice is good. The bakery has tons of devilish choices. The cobblestone sweet roll looks heavenly but I'm afraid that it won't taste as good as it looks, so I haven't tried it. Love the scones, especially the tart cherry. Panera offers free wifi and they don't seem to care if you hang out all day using it. I have found the coffee to be consistently good.

This was my 3rd time at this particular Panera. I always get the same thing. You Pick Two: low-fat chicken noodle soup and the half turkey artichoke panini. You canNOT go wrong with these items. Delicious. This time, the place was PACKED! Students, parents, old-people, young 'uns on 'dates', everybody was in this Panera. You could barely get a seat. I found one, ate my food, headed back to the, parking lot to find my car. Yay! I'm a fan of this place.
