My 1st ever trip to a Waffle House and the experience was excellent! Although the menu is plain Jane and the restaurant is not all that, the food was very good and the service at this particular location was an A+! I ordered an All-Star special with Sausage. The famous waffles were thinner than your usual waffles, but were excellent. I wouldn't have actually wanted them to be any bigger since the breakfast was so filling. The eggs and toast were also spot on. The sausages looked pretty lonely, but hit the spot as well. Not one thing wrong with the food. I just also wanted to say that the service here was fantastic! Our waitress was busting her hump and was very accommodating. In addition, there was a female greeter who was very friendly helping us get a table. I couldn't have asked for a better 1st Waffle House experience!

First time at the Waffle House, and the food is great! We first visited the location in Havre De Grace, not crowded but when we asked if we sat ourselves the guy buffing silverware replied "ain't nobody else going to". Needless to say we left and headed for Cracker Barrel, the Sunday after service wait was ridiculous. Arriving at the Riverside WH, expecting rude service like the last, I was pleasantly surprised by the giant MORNING when we came through the door. The young lady let us know she was about to bus the newly available table and we could sit. The vibe was nice everyone friendly even patrons pointing me and another lady to seats to wait . Menu not too extensive but they execute every dish wonderfully. I had blueberry waffles to share with my 2 year old niece, she absolutely loved them (no syrup needed , so sweet and delicious). Also the all the way hash browns (goes into a shouting frenzy asking that God bless the creator of the dish) no words can explain . AHMAZING! Will definitely return!

My significant other is kind of obsessed with this place, although we rarely come here. I think it's the remembrance of days gone by, back when he was young and had a stomach that could withstand the dietary torture of the cheesy hash browns and bad coffee. But for the price, it can't be beat!

One of the best Waffle Houses' ever. Stacy greeted immediately followed by Devin bringing me my utensils. After greeting she made sure my coffee was always at a good level. Her interaction with other customers was great! Devin's attention to detail made my breakfast look like it was from a magazine cover. Yes the taste matched the looks! Everyone was working together as a team and it seemed everyone enjoyed their job. Thank you for the great breakfast and bring a smile to my face at the start of the day. If I was a undercover boss, I would of been impressed with the precision of service offered here.

Had breakfast here a couple times when staying in the area. Friendly staff with a great attitude. Waffles were always great and so was the coffee. Everything else was on par as well. Two people less than $20. Can't beat it. It's a Waffle House people so ignore all these negative reviews saying it is "below their expectations"!

Clean, fast, and good food. Like all waffle houses, it is very loud when there are too many people. I recommend eggs cooked to order rather than omelettes. The omlettes use american cheese and are too fluffy imo. The staff is very kid friendly and talks to my child every time im in there and even offered to watch him while I signed my check.

How can you go wrong at a Waffle House? $2 Cheeseburger, $5 all the way hash browns, and $1 coke. This particular one was a bit on the small side, but service was pleasant and the food was cooked as requested. Wish they were closer!

Super friendly staff and atmosphere, decent breakfast food, and super cheap prices. When you want a quick but maybe not so healthy breakfast, why the heck not? Open kitchen allows you to see everything as it happens. Our server was friendly and my gf and I both had full breakfast plates and coffee for 15 bucks. You da bomb waffle house.

I've been to several Waffle Houses all across the east coast, and this Waffle House was nothing but a good experience. Service was fast, friendly, and like all Waffle Houses, you barely have to wait for your order. I went on a Sunday evening, so it was not busy at all. This location is conveniently located off of I-95, so you can easily stop in for a quick bite and then be back on the road if you're traveling as I was. I've found all Waffle Houses to be very consistent with the overall experience and food quality, and this location fits the standard. Who can beat an order of eggs, waffles and toast for under $4?

So welcoming as soon as you come through the door. Great food & atmosphere. Went for breakfast, ordered chocolate chip waffle, hash browns, scrambled eggs and OJ.

I've been to waffle houses all over, so I expect a certain standard amongst all locations. This location falls below that threshold. The food was on par, but the store was very dirty. I walked into the bathroom and it was dirtier than one could imagine. I didn't even want to use it. All the tables were dirty when we arrived and once we picked a "clean" table I quickly realized it needed to be wiped down. I'm not sure if it was a busy time for them, but it was a less then pleasurable experience.

I love this place. All the cooks/staff greet you when you walk in the door. The server was friendly, prompt and refilled our drinks multiple times. The waffles are pretty good, basic waffles, thin like eggos, not thick like a belgian waffle. The grits are fantastic and the bacon was crisp just the way I like it! The sandwiches look pretty good, my husband got one. We will go back.

Waffle House staff was prompt and understanding. Overall atmosphere was dirty (floor, counters, utensils), and one sandwich was good. The other (burger) was served on a moldy bun. Keep trying Waffle House, and you'll get it right.

Traveling home stopped into one of my favorite breakfast places, sat down at the counter. The food is always good. The staff at this WH was more than entertaining. Playing music singing and dancing to there job!

I came here after a PT test with a couple of fellow officers to grub down on some hash browns topped, chunked, diced, sliced, and whatever else goes on there to make the seven toppings. The waitress wasn't that bad - she actually seemed to want to serve people which is a rarity at this place. I guess it makes a difference if you go in the morning as opposed to 1am. We were fortunate enough to have someone pay for us - although not requested, it's always appreciated. I just wished we were able to shake the individual's hand - they paid and left and we only found out when we went to get our checks. Gracias.

Whatever you do, do NOT order the waffles!!! They are THE WORST on the planet and I'm not exaggerating!!! The "fruit" topping is some kinda of chemically created concoction... at .50¢ PER waffle! The bright spot was the perfectly cooked bacon, nice crispiness. If you do stop by, make sure BRIAN is your server. He is super sweet and dedicated to providing delightful service and ensure a good experience (it's not his fault the waffles are HORRID!) It was our first-ever visit to a Waffle House and Brian made sure we had a momento... our own paper Waffle House caps, which we of course sported as we got back onto the road. Final thoughts? NEVER again.

Waffle House is always a place to start or end a long work day. Good service team and line cooks.

Alright, I don't know exactly what expectations people are walking into a Waffle House with but they need to seriously consider this is a chain restaurant ...not a corner bistro . So that said, the waffles are good. They are not and are not meant to be American Belgian waffles. Although in saying that I can attest they are not unlike the thinner lace like waffles you can get in Liege, Belgium (so take that, waffle critics). The rest of the food I tried -eggs, hash browns, biscuits , sausage -all were tasty and fine. The biscuit was a little dense for my liking, but again -a chain restaurant. I was just happy that it seemed made in house. The list of toppings for the hash browns was tasty, we opted for tomato and cheese...although you could create a more interesting combo if you wanted. Overall a clean restaurant with a nice staff. For two of us the bill was around $20 which seemed reasonable for what we had to eat. So if you are looking for some breakfast food, I say this Waffle House is worth the stop.

Having never eaten at this chain before, I was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service. My eggs were cooked properly, my toast was good. The waitress even checked to make sure the bacon wasn't too undercooked for us! And I definitely recommend the home-fries scattered, smothered, and covered.

I've only been here once and that was enough for me never to want to go back again. The food was horrible and the service was slow.
