This was my second time here, both for business, so I was dining alone. Great bar with very attentive servers. Food was great and good prices! Definitely recommend the regular wing vs. the chicken tenders (only reason for the 4) and awesome place to catch a game. I recommend the chicken St. Michael if your looking for an entree. it was delicious

Food here was great. Place is small, kinda cozy but it's so convenient if you're a commuter here for a few days. They had good beers on tap, and pretty good food. Word of advice for newbs; the regular "hot" wings is doused with demilitarized napalm. They do it big up there at APG. I love spicy foods, but after 2 or 3 wings, I had to ask for milk... I'll definitely come back here and give those wings another try.

Stopped here for a break in the drive on 95. The service was excellent and the food was, too! Will definitely come back again!

Stopped in here because it was convenient to the hotel my b/f and I were staying at. We wanted something within walking/stumbling distance in case we went overboard with the beer. Based on their beer selection, that turned out not to be an issue. Walked in a on Friday evening and were seated promptly. Very nice lady showed us the table. Waitress was efficient and courteous. We ordered beer- Stella for my better half, Red Hook Longhammer for me. Both were decent so at least the kegs weren't stale. Onto food: I started with the crab dip, he started with the nachos. The crab dip was supposed to be seasoned with Old Bay but in reality it was a creamy dip with a complete tablespoon of Old Bay underneath. It hadn't been mixed. I was wondering why it was so bland. Once I found it, I stirred it up and it was more flavorful. The nachos were soggy and I was not impressed. For entrees, he had the Cobb Salad, which was fine and I had the Cheesesteak, which was actually pretty good and I liked the fries. We decided to get the peanut butter pie for dessert and it was okay. With limited options in the area, this is a decent place. Service was very friendly and nice but overall, I don't think it would be a destination place for food.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere was a little off. Looks like a wine bar trying to be a sports bar. There was only one other person at a table & a few people at the bar. I got the BBQ shrimp & my boyfriend got the shrimp salad sandwich and we spilt the basket of fries. My shrimp were outstanding as was his sandwich. The fries could have had more cheese & bacon for the $7 price tag. Our food came out in a fairly reasonable time but with the restaurant being as empty as it was I thought it would have been quicker. It took forever for the waitress to bring the check & I had to deliver it back to her with the credit card. My other gripe is the prices. After reviewing the menu it seemed they were a little higher then they should have been.

I'm not an East Coaster. I probably wouldn't know good crab cakes if they kicked me in the junk, but I do know good food and I know beer. Growing up Midwest and moving to CA, crab cakes to me are a novelty. To folks in Maryland, they are a religion. I now understand why. The crab cakes here were better than any I've ever had, which may not be saying much, but wow, fantastic. The beer selection was varied and decent. Really enjoyed the Natty Boh. What I enjoyed even more though was the service. When the waitress and the owner stop to chat, ask me about my meal, and can talk not only beer, but beer history, I respect it. With out the service I got, this would be a decent 3 star place. The service was worth 4 stars alone.

I was there with the lovely as part of a group of 12. The food was good. I got to sample a few other dishes members of the group ordered. I had the BBQ shrimp appetizer and it was done well. Bigger shrimp cooked properly and the bacon was crispy around them. That is not always the case in many places as the bacon is limp. I liked it this way...the crunch was a good contrast to the shrimp. The BBQ sauce was ok but obviously not house made. Next I had the Texas burger...It has a bigger name on the menu but Texas is part of it. Anyway...it is massive...1/2 pound patty with bbq pork, bacon, jalapenos and cheddar cheese...and lettuce and tomato on the side if you want to top it off. You almost have to dislocate your jaw to take a bite. But it is worth it. The patty was cooked to order and cooked spot on. And all the flavors work well together. It came with ripple cut house made chips. My lovely had coconut shrimp and I got to sample a couple...once again big shrimp and a nice coconut flavor. It had a dipping sauce...but I liked them plane. The crab cakes looked to be a nice baseball size and those that got them liked them very much. As for the crab dip...heavy on the creamy and spicy...light on the CRAB...so that is a bad thing. The crab pretzel seemed to be popular and enjoyable by the group. The draft beer selection is 3...but 3 good beers...Fat Tire, Stella and Sam Seasonal. This place just has beer and wine but no liquor. Our group also went through a few pitchers of sangria...but it was not really house made but wine with a mix added. If you are gonna offer it...you should really make it in house it is not hard and it would be unique to your place. Now...as for the service...it was really disjointed. Eventually it worked out so the entire table had one person...but at first there were 3 people that would check and take orders...and miss people...But hey...most Yelpers are not going as a group of 12. Oh and the night we were there (Saturday) they had live entertainment . It is worth checking out and has something on the menu for everyone.

Awesome lunch spot, traveling for business it was the perfect place to stop. We sat outside on the sunny patio and enjoyed crab cakes, perfect blackened chicken salad(its famous here), and a black and blue burger. Boom! Job well done!

Great for what it is. Only place in this area to get some night grub and a beer.

Service is good. Servers are friendly. Atmosphere is pleasing. I will return. It's been busy both times when I was there. Busy bar as well. I've had the coconut shrimp and was pleased with the portion and the dish was very tasty and fresh. I've also had a burger here, and it was cooked the way I ordered it and it tasted fresh and delicious. The crab pretzel/ dip was also very good. Desserts are fab. Love the carrot cake and the crème brulee' cheesecake. It's close to 95 & 40. They have outdoor seating on a covered (but not enclosed) patio, which seems very inviting. I hope to try the outdoor area next time.

Ugh... let's start with they got two out of four orders wrong( ordered a combo plater for appetizers but only got wings and my meal chicken parm comes with a salad never got it until I asked what happened to it). When they decided to correct it the salad part they put it on a side plate with it hanging off the edges so it touching the table. What happened to the salad bowl. Next I ordered a kids chz burger for my 3Yr old to find a tooth pick in deep inside the burger wtf. Pasta was also over cooked on my chicken parm, really hard and rubbery. But they seem like nice ppl that's the ONLY reason they get a two star Oh almost forgot the table was dirty and there was on set of silverware for us to us luckily most the stuff we ordered u can eat with ur hands

If you're stuck in the middle of Maryland with limited dining options, this isn't the worst. Pretty standard bar fare. The food is relatively well-executed, but really unoriginal and nothing special. I will say the crab cakes were very solid though. The service was good when it wasn't busy, but once it sped up things got a little spottier. Some of the chairs inside had lost their cushioning, and there's just a general feel of darkness... you wouldn't pick it for the ambiance or creative menu, but if you're stuck there for work it's not the worst you could do.

Read the yelp review about the crab cakes and it's true! They are delish! Awesome fries too!!

After seeing their unprofessionalism on social media, and having not been very impressed why their food in the first place, I am downgrading them to 2 stars. Look at the pictures I'm about to post (screenshots from a negative Facebook review on this place, and the establishment's horrific response) Unbelievable.

This is a restaurant searching for an identity. Service was acceptable which is no surprise since I was one of ten patrons in the pub. The soup was lacking crab and seasoning and was a bit warm. I stuck to the basics and got a blackened blue burger and was pleasantly surprised. Overall, not bad, not good, average. I wish the owners best of luck.

Recently gave this establishment another try after a couple horrible experiences. It was much busier this time, and was promptly greeted at the front door. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered a Jerk Chicken Sandwich and Fries, which were all excellent and fairly inexpensive. Based on this experience, I can say that I give it 4 stars, barely. I still remember the bad experiences to really be excited about this place. If you must go there to eat, I highly recommend the Jerk Chicken Sandwich/wrap. Very good.

It was our first time there but it will not be our last. Everything was very good along with a good presentation. Shrimp Alfredo was so huge, enough for two people the shrimp were large and done to perfection. Cesear Salad huge! Everything arrived hot and quickly Pleasant staff Looking forward to more good food. No complaints

Only reviewing the hamburger. It was exceptional. Service was friendly. I am not sure what the social media piece is about, but we did not see any such issues.

The atmosphere is nice and the waitress was good. We ordered calamari, which was pretty good. My daughter and I both ordered hamburgers. She wanted medium arms I wanted medium rare. Both came out well done and dry. The home made chips were good, and the lettuce and and tomato were nice. My wife said the nachos were ok, but nothing special.

Stopped in off of the highway on a Sunday night. Good spot for a burger and fries. I had the chicken ranchero sandwich and my friend had the black and bleu burger. Both of us would order our meals again.

Great service. Nice cozy atmosphere. Good beer selection. My Chicken St. Michaels was yummy and hand tons of fresh veggies. Would dine again. When I left behind a belonging, they mailed it to me, no problem. Very kind.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced!!! On top of poor and slow service, the waitress served three of us fairly potent BLEACH water and they did nothing about it. The waitress said, "oh would you like new waters?" When I mentioned it to the manager he said, "So... What? You need new waters?" I proceeded to tell them how upset we were (as my throat was still burning 15 min later) the waitress then said, "what would you like us to do about it?". The manager never came back to even apologize, and nothing was done to comp or even discount our meals.... To add icing on the cake, I'm pregnant!!! I really can't express how upset I am.

Just like others who have encountered the management at this establishment, I am 100% unhappy with the service I received. The manager was condescending as he informed our party that he was being "accommodating" while in reality, as I tried to reserve another table for our party, I was told, "Not right now you're not." Last time I checked treating patrons like children was far from accommodating their needs. After the manager was told the conversation was over, he found it necessary to return to be additionally condecending and disrespectful. Don't waste your time going to this place to be disrespected. No matter the quality of the food, it's not worth the time or aggravation.

Stopped for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. Quiet, wouldn't have a problem bringing kids here during the day. TVs sufficient if you need to catch a game but not overwhelming like at the turtle. Nice ambience. Ordered a Black and Blue burger and a flat iron steak. Both were a bit overcooked but not terribly so. French fries were amazing. Mashed potatoes seemed like they had sour cream in them, and it seemed like a bit much. House salad was mixed greens, tomatoes, cukes, radish, and mushrooms. I'll definitely come back and try something else. And i'll be getting a basket of fries.

This place was so convenient as it was within walking distance from my hotel. They've got a nice menu with lots of variety and a nice atmosphere. Despite being a bar they're not a dive at all. Their cream of crab soup is good, very liberal with the Old Bay which is nice. There's also a shaker of it at the table in case you want to add more to anything. Their steamed shrimp is good too. The cheesesteak is good too, as are the crab cakes. The service is awesome, too. Both times I went they were very nice and attentive.

Wow... We literally just left here. We walked in and felt positive. Seemed nice. And it started off well. Ordered some drinks. All came out good. However, It all went rapidly down hill from there. Our waitress, although nice enough, was entirely clueless. As a former waitress/ bartender myself I feel I am especially qualified to make these judgements... Aside from no salads coming out and entirely forgotten appetizer selections. We had no silverware and no napkins. And when she realized we didn't have any she threw 3 sets to us, and we were a party of 6! Really bad! When she attempted to drop off the wrong food at our table, and my brother- in- law nicely mentioned an item we were missing it did not even ring a bell. The girl had no recollection. The food was average. Aside from the nice live music not an enjoyable experience. We are New Yorkers and def used to great service... But still.... would not return here unless I lost a bet, LOL.

When I first walked in I was afraid that the place was a little bit plain, a lot like new home construction if you know what I mean. That was the last time I felt cautious about the place. Service and staff is great, really great. Food was always good, and I was in town for 3 weeks so I had lots of opportunity to try most of the menu. I got a Stella that tasted old, but that's it. The fact that I kept coming back 4 to 5 times a week should speak to how much I like this place.

I've been here before and it's not been a bad place to have a beer.. Don't know what;s changed however I sat at the bar over 5 mins before someone notices I was there, ordered up a Draft Fat Tire, was informed that the keg had to be chaged, I said no problem I'll wait, then was informed it would be at least 15 mins before the keg could be changed, didn't want anything to do with the other two beers so I punched.....

The food was tasty but a bit over priced. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. The service was slow and inattentive.

Walked here because it was literally just down the hill from a hotel I was staying at. Ate here 2 days at lunch. It seems the place has an identity issue: not sure if it is primarily a bar, a sports bar, or a "fine dining" restaurant, which is what it advertises on the door. While it certainly is finer than the Pizza Hut it is near, it is nowhere near some of the other places that are less than 10 min. drives away. Waitresses were nice, but even though the place was moderately empty when I was there, service was slow. Food is just ok: had the buffalo chicken wrap (LOTS of real blue cheese, a bit overpowering at times), house salad (first one had moldy tomatoes on it, second one was ok), Maryland crab soup (moderately spiced, decent), and a glass of wine (had never had that vintage before; tasted a bit sour). Also, a bit pricey for what you get! Fine for a happy hour stop over, don't think it should be a destination for eating.

In a sea of chains and fast food joints off of 95 there is the Riverside. My wife and I have been here several times (lunch) because the food is good. We usually get sandwiches and while the service is not the fastest in the world the food comes out hot and in a reasonable time. The cheese-steak' are good and my wife is partial to the Chicken Caesar wrap. I tried the pit beef once but it was a little to dry for my palate. Tons of parking, just them and a dominos in the strip mall and easy on off from 95. In fact I would go so far as to recommend this exit rather than the Aberdeen exit just up the road.

On the way to Dc and stopped here for lunch since its pretty close to exit 80 off of 95. Service was friendly and the food was good. Half price apps for happy hour special were nice. We would come back if ever in the area again.

Convenient to the hotel, decent bar, good food. Crab cakes are excellent here. A bit pricier than similar style chains but food is worth it.

Staying at the hotel next door we were happy to find a convenient cute Pub Restaurant so close! It had a good, warm and clean feel as we walked. Seemed like the best choice in this area of Cracker Barrel & Pancake House as our other choices. Only beer or wines to choose from so I started with a glass of red. Nice big wine glasses... good so far! Service was very good..nice professional waitress. I opted for the salmon dinner and chose my 2 sides...home made Mac and cheese and a side of cole slaw ($16.99). My BFF co-worker chose the crab cake platter and same sides as me. (19.99). Unfortunately everything but the salmon was cold. Having to send things back to the kitchen puts a damper on a nice dining experience. Everything came back out in a timely manner...piping hot, and waitress apologized..." Whatever." We forgave. For desert we split the key lime pie. It was delicious. I handed my credit card to pay the bill and as I was putting the tip on I noticed I was charged for 2 pies! Huh? Another big mistake? My credit card was credited back but this 2nd mistake made both mistakes memorable. My Salmon was good....but nothing special. Crab cakes good but there are much better places for crab cakes. So in conclusion...this is a nice restaurant if you are in the area but certainly not a place to go out of your way for! It was NOT a great value for the money. If I did go back I would order a salad or sandwich...not a platter.

Visiting from out of town and decided to have a drink. Its ok. Its between a bar and a restaurant. Nothing to write back home about. Next time I'll try the food.

We live in the neighborhood and ordered wings and subs from them when they first opened. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. I recently bought a Restaurant.Com gift certificate to try them again. Their long tables are actually plastic folding tables which with a 4 year old leaning on it and moving around, was a little unsturdy. They do not have a kids menu or crayons to keep the kids entertained but they do have kids cups and the usual chicken fingers, burger, etc. We ordered the appetizer sampler and the mozzarella sticks tasted odd, the chicken fingers and southwestern egg rolls were just ok. The wings and fries were good. I also had the crab soup which was much too spicy and did not seem fresh. The entrees my husband and daughter ordered were just ok. I would go again for wings and a drink but that would be about it.
