This 4 star rating is only for the Schezuan Chicken... it does not pertain to cleanliness or friendliness. I absolutely love this flavorful dish. I am hooked and all my friends that tried this dish are hooked as well. I stop by China Moon about 4x a year (as I pass through the area) and always wish I lived closer. I highly recommend this dish. I've never gotten sick, but I've never tried anything else either. By the sounds of the other reviews, I'll stick to the Schezuan Chicken.

I should have cancelled my order as soon as I put in my call. I was ordering my food and after everything I said the lady on the phone rudely interrupts me saying "Is that it...Is that it" as if she was rushing me off the phone. Then she didn't give me a total and hung up the phone as I was asking for the total. I get the food it's hot, like extremely hot the aluminum containers it was in were bending and leaking it was so hot. Now lets get to the food: -ordered pizza egg rolls...didn't get them -the sesame chicken tasted like seafood. There is no reason for chicken to taste like seafood! If I wanted seafood I would have ordered it. -The fried rice had nothing in it, it was just yellow rice with no flavor. There was no veggies or anything in the rice....just flavorless rice After all this we call the place back and tell them how disappointed we are with the food and ask where the pizza egg rolls are only to find out they don't even have pizza egg rolls. Why would you let me order pizza egg rolls and not tell me you don't have them! She didn't apologize or anything for the inconvenience just hung up. That was over $30 down the drain and I will NEVER go there again.

Nasty!! Nasty!! Nasty!! Me, the boo and his daughter each got sick from the food. Literally, SICK!! I can only thank God that there were enough bathrooms in the house for each of us to have privacy because we were each experiencing a moment at the same time!! Won't do this again.

If I could give it zero stars I would. It is the worst Chinese I have ever had. I have unfortunately eaten her around ten times and it is awful every time. It is really close to our house but now I drive miles out of our way to go get good Chinese. The lady that is always at the register is really rude too.

I stopped in this place while traveling for work before stumbling upon the gem that is Riverside Pizza in the same plaza. When my coworker and I both walked in we exchanged looks. The place was dirty, grimy, and the employee behind the counter looked unfriendly. Strike one. We ordered our food and then found out they didn't take plastic. Strike two. When our food came out we were exhausted and just grabbed it to eat at our hotel rooms. My coworker mentioned that she wanted to walk out the minute she saw the inside, and I agreed that we should have. We joked that maybe years down the road maybe we'd laugh about how we ordered the best chinese food of our lives from the grossest hole-in-the-wall in MD. As my one star indicates, it was far from the best chinese I've had. I'd even go so far as to day it was the worst. We both ordered Sesame Chicken, she with white rice and I with pork fried. When I got back to my room I saw that there wasn't a single sesame seed on my chicken. The chicken had some gelatinous and soggy consistency, and was an odd orange color with some onions mixed in. Strike three. I would have thought there was a mix-up in my order, but I couldn't even figure out what I had been given. I gave up on the chicken after two bites and moved onto the rice. The rice was almost completely devoid of pork, and had almost no vegetables as well. Strike four. I texted my colleague to ask how she liked hers, and she said it was disgusting and she threw it out. I was glad to know I wasn't alone. Fearing the possibility of food poisoning I was very careful for the next 12 hours, but I dodged that bullet. The only good things about my meal was that I didn't get sick from the 5 bites I ate, and the fact that there was enough food for 2 people at a minimum. All in all, I do not recommend this place one bit.

Well I can't say this is the best nor the worse chinese food place i've ever tried. It's just waht you expect. :) Here's an easy review of this place in both pros and cons: Fast service Uses fresh veggies although I question the meat Cheap price. Ask for the small b/c the large feeds like 2 people. I didn't know this and I got two plates Cons: Pretty fatty chinese food They don't have fountain drinks all their drinks are in cans So having said all that, I'd say yeah... you can go here and pretty much treat it as one step better than fast food.

I tried this place twice, thinking maybe I just ordered something that wasn't their specialty... Beef & Broccoli is pretty easy, I'd think but... I wasn't very impressed with the food here. Even buffet-style chinese places at the airport are better than this. My first clue should have been that every time I walk by this place, it's empty...

Standard hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. Cheap, fast, and full of MSG. You get what you pay for, so if you're in a hurry and on a budget, this place is perfect. Don't expect anything fancy, though.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
