High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

My husband and I attended a wedding last night at Tabrizis. The food was excellent! The cocktail hour appetizers were good. The only one I was not sure about was the mini crab cake. It was just a lot of filler but with serving a large reception I really let that slide. Opinions on crab cakes vary so much that I'm sure others loved them (I'm used to jumbo lump cakes with barely any filler). Our dinner was sea bass and steak with broccoli and cous cous. The sea bass and steak were cooked just the way we like it. I was in the bridal party and noted that the staff was very accommodating and friendly. They made sure that the bridal party was taken care of throughout the evening. The views from Tabrizis are beautiful and the outdoor patio is perfection. My husband and I can't wait to go back for dinner! Ps. I am pretty sure that Tabrizis also provided the wedding cake. Let me just say that whatever you call the cake we had, it was to die for. My husband and I came up with Ferrero Rocher/Butterfinger explosion. If you struggle with addiction do not eat this cake!

We attended a wedding at the Tabrizi. Tabrizi is supposedly one of Baltimores Wedding Venues. I was less impressed with the event location and the food. The view for the wedding was nice facing the water, but extremely HOT. There is no shade for guests. After the wedding, the reception area was inside by the bar. Chairs were piled up and difficult to maneuver around. There were maybe 4 tables with chairs at the far end of the downstairs area. If I had been the parents of the bride I would have had a "COW". I would hate to think they were paying for that. It like they just opened up for that event. Very disappointing. The food at the reception was also sub-par. There was bacon wrapped scallops (bacon still had white fat not cooked thru),. egg roll was probably the best, some pull pork wrapped that was horrible. The wedding meal was upstairs and better. The menu had sea bass (good) and filet (good), chicken (heard complaints it was dry) and a vegetarian. I am sorry we were comparing Tabrizi Wedding to our daughter's venue and experience. She had just gotten married less than a year ago at Boone Hall Plantation in SC and unfortunately, we were comparing.

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding reception here a couple of months ago. Steak & Crab Cake we outstanding. I actually looked around the room hoping I saw a vegetarian missing out just to find another round. :)

Went here for 18th bday (long ago and yes I'm just now writing review) ok so I went there on a night around 8 and it was beyond empty, only one person at bar and one server...very dark inside, beautiful view because it's right next to water, due to it's location im surprised it's still in business because it's hidden within the condos so not many will scout this place if there are better restaurants within viewable reach. I couldn't complain about my meal at the time because I was impressed at the time and we could see the cooks prepare our meal, my server was a sweet lady, I enjoyed that night as I remember it was nice

I am a purist and the food here is pure and good. After living in Israel, I avoid a lot of restaurants with a Middle Eastern flair, but the basics are the best at this waterfront gem. Hummus, falafel, babaganoush - it's all here and amazing. The view is the best in Baltimore and they have a great happy hour. Servers are knowledgeable and informative. Drawback is that they are closed for weddings . . .most Saturdays

It was a beautiful Sunday evening, and wanting a good place to sit outdoors, my friend suggested Tabrizi (as he said it was listed on Baltimore Magazine's Top Eateries this year). And pat on his back! The spacious outdoors seating area was right by the water. We were easily able to get a table. The service was fast, and our server was friendly and nice. We ordered dolmades as starters, and it practically came minutes after ordering. Those were decent. I ordered a lamb fajita that came with shoestring potato fries. It was tasty except the lamb was a little fattier than I'd like. My friend got the "Lamburghini" -- lamb & beef burger, which he said was great as well. A nice place to spend a Sunday evening (or probably any warm-weather evening).

The harbor setting makes for the best outdoor seating in Baltimore. Whenever I come to the bar in summer and sit outdoors and enjoy a cold beer, I feel like I'm on vacation. I've only eaten off the bar menu, but it is delicious. I only wish Mr Tabrizi would get some microbrews on tap!

I was so looking forward to dinner here, but I was unfortunately let down. I would have given this place 4 stars, but after our last experience here I don't think it's worth that anymore. Pros: - LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! This is a great restaurant to get the Harbor views without all the busyness of the Harbor near the Cheesecake Factory, Barnes & Noble, etc...It's on the western side of the water front closer to Little Havana's. The restaurant has glass pane walls so you get an unobstructed view of the water no matter where you sit in the restaurant. - Outdoor seating. When I used to live in the Fed Hill area, I loved grabbing a drink & a snack here during HH especially after taking my dog on a walk along the promenade area. Drafts are only $2. Food is really expensive for HH, but it's still definitely cheaper than eating indoors. My favorites were their hummus and tuna tartar. - Ambiance. They have a pianist during dinner time, which really helps to set the an elegant and relaxing mood. Cons: - Over priced: I've eaten here three times for dinner. Once during restaurant week and once when they had a pre-fixed Valentine's dinner. Both times were fabulous and pretty reasonably priced. This year was my first time eating and ordering off their regular menu. First, service was incredibly SLOW. We waited almost 15 minutes before our waiter came to fill up our water glasses and take our drink orders. I had their calamari for an appetizer. The portion was really small and had way too much scallions, so it had quite a bite to it. For dinner, my husband had the salmon on fingerling potatoes, and it was delicious. I ordered the Cornish Hen. It was cooked pretty well, but it was a little greasy. My biggest disappointment was that the Cornish Hen came with no other sides (maybe a few baby carrots). For $30+ I feel like you should offer your customers a little more than just a small Cornish hen. I really wanted to eat more of it, but about a quarter into it I just got bored eating the same thing and really wanted some starch or veggies or anything to combine it with. Overall, I would probably visit Tabrizi's again when they offer a pre-fixed menu (i.e Restaurant Week) but other than that, the beautiful ambiance is not worth the price of the food. IMO.

The only time I went here me and a couple friends sat at the table outside. The waitress asked us if we were getting full meals and we said we were getting drinks and appetizers, and she said we had to sit inside at the bar. Meanwhile, drinks and appetizers cost plenty! Well, we thought about leaving but moved to the bar, but then the bartender told us to move back to a table to order food! We felt like a hot potatoe being tossed around. We were well dressed and polite, so I don't know why were being treated so rudely. We never got any apology, and we eventually left and have never returned. Maybe this was an isolated incident, but with so many other choices why bother patronizing a place that treated you so poorly?

Ditto on the challenging parking comment. Also, rather poor signage on Key Highway (you go into Harborview). I can see how this might be a challenging location. Went for a late supper on a Tuesday. Was delighted to hear a live piano and base combo, but disappointed when they packed up a few minutes later. I'm sure they would have been a nice complement to the meal. A pretty and chic yet vaguely sterile setting is offset by a lovely view of the harbor. The patio wasn't open yet, but I'm told by a resident of the Harborview that "there is no better place to spend a warm summer's evening." Strong praise, that! The octopus and calamari app is yummy. Fresh without a hint of rubbery, and the surprisingly snappy sauce works well (watch for the flakes of red pepper if you'd rather not have it quite so spicy). Babaganough (sp?) was okay, but somewhat too salty for my taste. A Gorgonzola ravioli with duck meatballs was a heady combination, although the duck balls (sorry...) seemed a bit over-cooked. Decent wine selection (glass and bottle). I'll be intrigued to see how this place fares. The location is so odd--it's almost like the Harborview residents' private restaurant. Yet the fare and setting is (arguably) too upscale for the boat crowd or the "live-aboards" (folks who live in their boats at the docks). Perhaps the patio is what crosses the formal/informal boundary. I'll be back...assuming it's still around.

Tabrizi's was a really great late night nite experience. I saw it on Citypeek.com and decided to give it a shot, instead of opting for the Fed Hill bar crowd. Knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly waitstaff / bar staff. Just a couple blocks outside the heart of Fed Hill, right on the water. Michael the owner, was really nice, stopping by to see how we liked our food. The wings were some of the most unique, tasty wings I've ever had, really elevated out of standard bar fare, these seem like they were dusted, flash fried and then coated in a Pomegranate red chili sauce that was amazing. We also had a really good sampler plate of hummus and baba Ghanoush. All of this was complimented by a really eclectic fun wine list. Ranging from a Seghesio, which is one of my all time favs, to some bottles in the mid $20's. I'm blanking on the Italian bottle we had, but it was well paired. SO, the food was great. The crowd was all having a good time. There's not a bad view from anywhere inside or outside the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and all of this combined with charming company that agreed to go with me, made for a great laid back evening. I'm still thinking of going back for either the lamb, the burger that was walked by me several times throughout the evening, or just to get those wings again.

A quick update based on an unfortunately bad experience. We made reservations for a Friday night, and when we got to Tabrizis, a crude sign on the door said "Closed for Private Party." Undeterred, we went inside to the hostess stand, where we learned that only the inside of the restaurant was closed; everyone else could go around the side for outdoor seating. Hmm. When we got to the makeshift outdoor hostess stand on the other side of the building, we learned they had no records of any reservations. They did not seem to care that this might be an issue in general. When they seated us anyway, they put us at a wobbly plastic table next to a noisy generator and facing an ugly metal door. Wow. We left.

Three of us dined during 2010 restaurant week and had an overall nice experience. The restaurant was not busy so the wait staff was quite attentive in this attractive spot near the waterfront. The parking lot was off to the side and we saw a small sign that pointed Tabrizi's. Since it is winter -the lot was a bit dark but we walked and found the entrance. The interior is large and airy with a high ceiling that made it feel even larger. We were seated near the windows overlooking the water but it was dark and not much to see so we focused on the food. The menu, for restaurant week had a nice choice of appetizers and entrees. We ordered hummus , a pear salad and a beet salad. All were attractively presented. For our dinners we had a chicken kebab and two grilled salmon plates. The kebab dish was quite large but my son had the misfortune of biting into a hot pepper that was only for decoration, not for eating. My question is why was there a hot pepper on a kebab platter to begin with? Our salmon platters were well prepared, nicely presented and very tasty. For desert we had Tiramisu and baklava. The Tiramisu was home made and very moist but it was overly sweet and left an after taste even though I washed it down with a decent cup of coffee. Th baklava was a bit tough which is odd for this pastry. Overall a good meal, not great , but good by Baltimore standards.

It was 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius), with VERY high humidity, and the dining room was closed. The only option was to eat outside or in a tent. There was NO air conditioned dining available. We made reservations and arrived around 8:15 on a Saturday evening in mid July. Even though my home is just three blocks away, we drove because of the heat/humidity. We were dressed casually, but we were dressed, slacks/shoes etc. We walked in the main entrance to find that the establishment appeared closed. The dining room and bar were abandoned. Then we noticed the kitchen was open and servers were moving through. We were told by the hostess that our only dining option was out of doors or in a sweltering tent. We asked to speak to a manager, and were introduced to Mr. Michael Tabrizi. He explained that his kitchen could not accommodate opening both indoor and outdoor areas. We told him that we were not told that dining outside would be our only option when we made our reservations. Accommodating our request to sit in the dining room [all of the tables were set and the room was ready] was not even considered. This was our second visit to Tabrizi's. The first time we were seated indoors [it may have been during the winter]. We were entertained by a female manager shouting repeatedly at the staff. Not a good time. If I want to sit outside in Baltimore in the heat and humidity I will wear shorts and sneakers and go to a much more casual inexpensive place, like Little Havana. There are many "nice" restaurants in the area that will seat you inside-try Centro on Light Street for example
