We came here because the mini is on the hunt to find the best chicken box spot in the area. Apparently she did some Google research and Sunny's kept coming up. She rated the chicken an 8 on a scale of 1-10. She opted for regular fries instead of western fries. She said the regular fries were poop. Me, the non-meat eater opted for the tilapia special with western fries (if I want regular fries, I'd cook them at home). The fries were AWESOME. The fish was decent. We decided that if we were in that end of town and she had a hankering for chicken, we'd go again but we won't go out of our way. So the hunt for the best chicken box continues...

I love Sunny's!!! I've been coming here for over 20 years. The chicken box with western fries are the best! The fried fish sub is my personal favorite but the cheesesteak subs are delicious too! I love the half-n-half although it is very sweet. Delicious food and very friendly staff.

I'm not going to say they have the BEST chicken box in town for this one reason; without the sunny/Mambo sauce I've had better. The chicken is a little too salty for my liking! But their potato wedges!!! BOOM Overall you get an awesome bang for your buck! The staff are usually very friendly. Expect there to be a crowd, always. If you are near Northwood plaza and you're hungry, I recommend you visit Sunny's for a chicken box! P.s there is one that just opened up at Westside shopping center that I've been meaning to try out!

The Best Chicken Box in Maryland hands down. From talking to the owner here, he personally buys fresh chicken from certain places every morning before opening the store. Most of the foods you get here are from the same day. Their Half N Half are the best (Excessive amounts of sugar and who knows what else) but that's why it's so good right?! From their famous chicken wings and wedges to their catfish and subs, it's all delicious. This place was also featured on the radio station, 92.3/92Q numerous times throughout the years. There are many joints that have mumbo sauce or their own homemade sauces, but Sunny's Sauce is by far the best. Want me to explain? How bout you just go there and get a chicken box with Sunny's sauce and try it out for yourself? That sounds better. :) Living in Howard County, this place is cheap! But if you live around the area, I'm not sure if it's still considered cheap, maybe competitive? Either way, it's worth every penny, worth your time, and worth your effort!

Sunny's is amazing love gettint chicken and waffles from them. They have also catered to my gospel choir for the past 5 years for our retreats and banquets. A great restaurant with a community centered management.

Guilty pleasure all the way. First of all the food is GREAT! I'm a huge fan of the cheese steak. food is freshly made. flavor is awesome. Service is just wonderful. Apparently this place has been here forever and management nor employees are jaded. They treat everyone with kindness ...and dare i say seemed genuinely happy to see their customers. i look forward to breezing through this menu! Ambience is that of a upbeat, communal, college nearby-joint. ;)

I've been frequenting Sunny's since 2000. The chicken box has always been my favorite and it is still is. As of late however the customer service has gone down tremendously. At a recent visit, I was barely greeted and after my order, I was never offered my receipt. I had to ask for it and then the young man behind the counter was rude and abrasive about my request. I hope that I don't have to find a new wing spot.

The worst chicken box I've ever had!!! Couldn't finish one wing. My lady felt the same way. The half&half was good the FF's also. I guess Sonny's the only option people have on that side of town.

All I have to say is CHICKEN BOX!!! Lol... Sunny's, which is located by Morgan State University, is one of the best, if not the best, chicken spots in the city. I have not heard anything bad a bout this carry out. I'm addicted to the chicken and fries. Let's not forget the Half and Half (Tea & Lemonade)! I have been about 6 times in the past month or two. Took my mom to Sunnys this past weekend. She is hard to please when it comes to most food, especially chicken, but SHE LOOOOVED IT and cannot wait to go back this weekend! The chicken is fresh, hot and seasoned very well. Please Please Please...I recommend checking out Sunnys! You will not be disappointed. :)

Love Sunnys. Have been coming here since I was a child. Best chicken box in Baltimore. Honey wings & regular wings delicious. Western fries just as delicious. Subs & fish are great. Love a half & half with it. Breakfast sandwiches are good. The only thing I've never liked here was the rice. It's dry. No one gets the rice anyway so it doesn't matter lol

I LOVE this place, the honey wings are soooooo good! I've been here twice and both times there was a party in my mouth. At first when my friend took me here I was like " why am I in this hole in the wall??" but then I tasted my food nom nom nom nom. I don't even live in Baltimore so that should tell you something about how much I like this place.

First time I've ever gotten food from here. It was crowded but, they were quick. My chicken cheesesteak delicious just as the half and half. The western fries were not so good. I would go back but no fries

This is where all the morganites go. ( Morgan state university). The food is good the staff is cool and THE FOOD IS GOOD. I really like greasy spoons so if your a fan then I suggest this place to you. They have this thing called "sunnys sauce" which tastes good with the fried wings. When I order my food I always asks for them to fry my wings n fries hard bcuz to me it taste better that way. Other than that everything's a go. They also serve fish and lots of other dishes that may suit your taste buds so go for it! Great if you wanna sit inside, Bcuz it's enough room, although I probably wouldn't.
