Sitting in Sofi's right this second. It's a Saturday afternoon, the place is almost empty. The incredibly wonderful smell engulfed us as soon as we opened the door. It's my first visit. I order the Thanksgiving & butterscotch crepes. My daughter gets the crepe florentine & plain Jane. We take one bite into the piping hot, made-while-we-wait, savory concoctions. For a moment, I'm sure I've died & gone to heaven. What an awesome spur of the moment find! Definitely recommend & will return when in the mood for casual, fast, Delicious dining!

I love crepes. Especially Sofi's crepes. No matter the location, they're consistent and effing delicious.

Very satisfied! A nice selection of crepes and good coffee in a cozy setting. Not a busy area at all so it's a nice quiet spot.

I had lunch here this week for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised! We were welcomed when we entered and the employees helped us by explaining some of the crepes and making suggestions. I ordered the BATS (bacon, avocado, tomato, sour cream) and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Kevin Bacon and raved about it. Portion size was big and crepes were filled. It was fun to watch the crepes being made and the staff was super friendly. We ate inside but there is a great outdoor area with cozy furniture and tables. I will definitely return and will try a sweet crepe then (Nutella and banana is calling my name!)

Gotta love some Americanized Crepes- in a good way! Mmmm they're so filling I can never finish! They have tons of flavors, savory or sweet. My top two picks are the Godfather with salami, pepperoni, mozz, peppers, and spinach and the Apple Crisp with apples, caramel, cinnamon and graham cracker crumbs. It's really quite dangerous that they accept my student card and that it's a 3 minute drive from my apartment... Oh! And they are exploiting my weakness for bottled sodas! Cream soda and root beer or good old bottled Coca-Cola. Can't beat that. Plus, the interior is really cute in a very fun, cafe style with plenty of French themed decorations. It's not usually busy which is surprising but that means we always have our choice of seats, inside or on the patio outside. Staff is always pleasant and quick to whip up those piping hot crepes!

My kids love it here. They are pretty good. Huge portions! It's not the best crepe but good. We usually go to the Belvedere Square location. Parking is great and there is ample seating. My boys go for the ham and cheese or the maple bacon every time. I haven't had a dessert crepe yet. Maybe on my next visit.

We love Sofi's Crepes! First time at this location. Great seating areas. This time we got egg & cheese, Kevin Bacon and Reuben. All delicious. Fast, friendly service!

Love the idea of this place. Top Favorites ( in no particular order) bacon, egg and cheese nutty banana brown sugar and cinnamon banana carmel Nutty Banana S'mores Its a really tight situation. Kinda order and go, there is a small wrap around counter if you want to eat in. It also gets hot at stuffy here. Now Im giving this place on 3 stars even though I love it. I feel the food could be better if it were fresher.. not out of cans and jars. Also not the best customer service...consistently not happy to see you. Sort of "oh yeah..you want food???

Atwater's was closed on a Sunday afternoon so we found this on Yelp. I had the BATS with added cheddar. It was delicious and I ate every bite. I've lived in the neighborhood for almost two years and never even noticed this place. I will be back.

Sometimes I just take for-ev-er...ya know? It's like "pick a crepe! any crepe! how hard can it be?!" and then I'm just consumed by my own indecisiveness. Big props to the cashier at Sofi's Crepes today for not expressing serious concern for my mental health because of the amount of angst choosing a crepe was causing me. The first major decision is sweet or savory. Is this lunch or is this dessert? It's both--gahh---this is hard. I don't even eat meat so half the menu is off limits to me but still I'm tempted by strawberry and cinnamon and banana AND spinach and mushroom and onion and tomato. The only way to have true success is to go with a friend. Agree before entering the premises who will be sweet and who will be savory. You can switch next time but you must stick to your guns this time or else someone could be a last-minute register traitor. At that point you'll be too embarrassed to freak-out at your friend in front of the employees. Then you can split your crepes and have the best of both worlds. You'll mess up the pretty wrapping and everything will get sloppy quickly but it'll be delicious. Or you could just order two...one for you and one for your friend who's uh...in the car... OMGosh guess what else they do on top of crepe perfection...coffee ice cubes in their iced coffees. Why don't more places do this? Oh. They have soymilk. Thank you. Also- it's pretty in here and there's a lot more room to sit (inside and out) than at the Charles Street location although that shop is presh. Fun fact: I used to go to the Brick Bodies that is located in the same building as Sofi's Crepes and did not renew my membership because of the crepes smell. Haven't been back to the gym but Sofi's will surely see me again.

Love Sofi's! Stopped in over the weekend to pick up some brunch to go. The staff at this location is always upbeat and friendly, you feel welcome when you walk in the door. I picked up a BATS (bacon, avocado, tomato and sour cream) $7 and a create-my-own of turkey, egg and cheddar for the homebound non-pork eating boyfriend $7. I also got a Nutella and banana for dessert $5. All were delicious and held up fine for the 20 minute ride home. I wish there was a Sofi's closer to me, I would probably go several times a week if I could!

I've never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly. Parking is never a problem, which is a plus in this area. Although they have specific combinations available, I've always been able to sub in items. Like today I got a BATS (bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and sour cream) but I subbed out the bacon for eggs. No problems at all from the staff. They always get my order right too :) The only think I wish is that they used real dishes instead of creating so much waste. The atmosphere is so nice, I enjoy eating in and would love to have a real plate with a fork and knife to eat my crepe. But that's just me. I highly recommend this place for anytime, especially breakfast.

I ordered the Florentine and added turkey. It was delicious. The only thing that would make it better is if they served it on a plate.

YUM!!!!!!!!!! I've always seen the location near the Charles, but never went (Tapas Teatro's siren call was always too strong). Recently moved and now live near the one at the now closed (for renovations) Senator Theatre. We only went here because I had a groupon/living social deal that was going to expire the next day. I am SO glad we went. I guess I was thinking that they were all sweets (yes, I realize I could have looked at the menu before now, but what fun is that?!?). We had them for carry out dinner and were more than full. The location near the Sanator also has a fair amount of outdoor seating - Bonus! The location smells amazing when you walk in and the guys at the counter could not be nicer. The crepes were larger than I expected and at basically 1/2 off, a great deal. I will say, with their pricing, the savory crepes are a better deal than the dessert options. All of the locations have the same menu with the exception of location specific daily specials. We had the following: ~The Godfather - $8 Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Salami, Roasted Red Peppers, & Spinach WOWOWOWOW!!! - this was amazing. Tasted like an Italian sandwich but without all the heavy bread. Very delicious. ~Sliced Turkey, Pesto Mayonnaise & Cranberry Chutney - $7. The turkey was actually REAL turkey (not deli) and the crepe tasted like Thanksgiving. The pesto mayo initially sounds off putting but trust me and the other reviewers, it really does work. I would not have tried it myself but other Yelpers said it worked, I trusted them, and it was amazing. ~Peanut Butter Cup- $5 Peanut Butter & Chocolate. Just 'eh'. I felt like the balance between PB and chocolate was not right (too much PB) and that the PB tasted like Skippy. I LOVE PB (I probably have a pb fold over sandwich every other day) and this just didn't work for me. I'll probably try another sweet one next time.

So long small waist line! Hello, Sofi's! My life as I know it is officially over - no more skinny jeans or tight dresses, oh no. Proper nutrition and healthy, portioned meals - what's that? Sofi's open atmosphere and buttery, delicious crepes have won me over...and that's just from having their S'mores and Apple Crisp crepes. Have you seen the rest of their menu? Sweet AND Savory crepes! These sweet crepes were so delicious, I'm just going to have to go back and even it out and try a savory. But, you know, everything sounds pretty darn good...maybe I can just stay there all day...and eat...With the FREE parking pad they have, this plan may actually happen! For an American creperie, not bad. Not bad at all. What really sealed the deal for me to consider this a future repeat? The friendly and helpful employees - as sweet as their crepes.

We got the Kevin Bacon and the Nutella/Strawberry. Both were amazing -- completely jam packed with ingredients, and the strawberries were clearly fresh (key to a crepe with only two ingredients). Little bit of a wait, but then they're making it right in front of you, so it's understandable. Definitely will be a fixture of our Saturday morning breakfast routine.

This place is great. I haven't had any other crepes since I moved to Baltimore, but it definitely beats my favorite place in Charlottesville, and the over-priced place in Alexandria. The savory and sweet crepes are stuffed with fresh ingredients in unique combinations. I ordered the florentine vegetarian crepe and loved the sauce in particular. I was skeptical that the whole thing would fall apart from being juicy, but it didn't. The flavors just worked great together. Next up, one of the chevre crepes. They were all out tonight, but I'll be back. We also shared the apple crisp crepe and banana-nutella crepe. These were both packed full of ingredients and deliciousness. I'm still getting to know food in Baltimore, but this place stands out as one of my new favorites. I've been looking for good and cheap eats up here and I've found one I plan to revisit often!

Sofi is a temptress! She must be stopped! LOL! Ok - we'll I guess it's my fault for stopping in while I'm on a diet. I was thirsty though and it was hot at Hades out, so I thought I would just dash in and out to grab an Orangina. I hadn't been to here before and I wished at that moment that I had. The smell of the crepes in the small diner-esque restaurant tortured me! It smelled truly heavenly. The people who work there make the crepes right in front of you too, which is very cool to watch. Despite my agony, I decided to drink my Orangina there since it had AC. I would just have to tough it out. Next to me a lady was going to town on her savory crepe. I think she got The Classic (Ham, Grutere, and Dijon). Whatever it was, it wasn't for long because homegirl killed it. It made me want to get one even more! They were all so affordable too! They all ranged from $4 to $8 total. Sofi's is small, with a bright red wrap-around table and bar stools. There are mini oil paintings on the walls, a giant French Flag, and American tunes playing in the background. Just like being in France! lol!. Photographs of Paris in the 20s are on another wall, adding to the cute French bistro/diner feel. A leaded ceiling gave the space one more thing to look at. Very cute. During the summer, Sofi's is only open between 10 and 3, so make sure you don't come in too early or too late, and make sure you don't come when you are dieting. LOL! I'll definitely write an update after I get like homegirl and slam one down myself! P.S. Sofi's does have a few tables and chairs outside for patrons. Didn't notice that until after I tortured myself sitting inside. Oh well!

(03/02/2013) Have been to other Sofi's locations, this one has the evil-mastermind benefit of being on the first floor of the gym (whoever came up with that strategy was just fiendish, you can smell the browned butter and Nutella all the way through the spinning room). The BATS (bacon, avocado, tomato, sour cream), has always been a fave; salty, meaty, creamy avocado and sour cream, a little cool tartness from diced fresh tomatoes. Saw a little ad for a Chevre crepe (goat cheese, spinach, raspberry jam, almonds) that really piqued my interest. Work off a few calories on the StairMaster and crepes, here I come!

What a darling little place! I started a touristy day off at this cute little creperie. When you first walk in, you will see there is a counter to sit at that wraps around the area in the center where the crepes are made. I'm one of those people that enjoys seeing my food made before my eyes, so I was happily kicking my legs in the air and ready to twirl around on my stool until I utilized my brain to realize that wasn't my crepe they were making. Seeing as how I hadn't ordered yet and all. Hmmmn, I will say it's a bit confusing on how to order at first. I thought you just sat down and told the Crepe Master in the middle your order. I felt a little dumb (since I had to pass up the register that said "order here" to sit down) until I saw others were doing the same thing. My scapegoat: "I'm a tourist!" I'm allowed to be a bit of a space cadet while in tourist mode, right? When I figured stuff out, I ordered a crepe filled with cheddar, tomatoes, and bacon. Crepe Master went to work in the middle handling the batter on the cast iron drum like a true pro. It was surprisingly a bit entertaining. I almost clapped when she was done Wait. . I think I took the geek route and actually clapped. Mmmmmmmmmn. . . from the way the crepe gets folded up it felt like I had a layered sandwich. The smoky-ness of the bacon had lent its hand to the cheddar to bring out its subtleties. I could also taste the ripeness of the tomatoes which really means something since so many places give you tomatoes with a watered down flavor. This sandwich put my day in motion to be the terrific day of sightseeing it ended up being. I thank the Crepe Master. Not sure if I will ever return to Baltimore, but if I do, I will return here to guarantee myself a terrific day.

Love Sofi's! I'd love it more if they had gluten-free crepes. Please offer a GF option! I'd be there everyday.

Very adorable crêpe place with a large selection of breakfast, savory, and dessert crêpes. My issues with the chain has to do with the high prices and inconsistency of the crêpes--they're sometimes soggy (eww) and sometimes crispy (yum!)--depending on who makes them. Suggestion to the owner(s): train your crêpe-makers to make the crêpes uniformly.

BATS with cheddar (bacon, avocado, tomato, sour cream and cheddar) and/or the classic nutella and banana. Every time it is awesome. I used to work on St. Paul place around the corner from this location and it was NOT good for my waistline or pockets, but I loved it. They also had bottles of Orangina which is one of my faves. I must love the food, because I am willing to look passed the service. They are consistently not happy to see a customer coming in. Oh well... I am ordering... again and again.

Decent (and decently priced) crepes. Offer a nice selection of savory and sweet crepes. You can also create your own. Friendly service. Small, so not a lot of places to sit. My friend and I dropped by here on a sunny day so we sat at one of the two small tables they had sitting outside. I only wish they were open on weekends...if I worked closer it would be a nice place to grab lunch during the week.

The crepes here are delicious! I love having this place close to work for variation in eateries for lunch. You can order ahead or place your order at the counter and watch your crepe come to fruition. My personal savory crepe favorite is the Florentine: spinach, mushroom, Gruyere and sunflower seeds all bound together with a delicious cheese sauce and wrapped in a delicate crepe. The Godfather and Kevin Bacon crepes are also very good! The Classic crepe is one I am itching to try: ham, Gruyere and Dijon mustard. If I'm in the mood for sweets, I'll go with the Nutty Banana: Nutella and bananas (I sometimes add strawberries). The simple Nutella crepe is also delicious, and the Banana Royale also sounds amazing (banana and homemade butterscotch). Warning: once you try Sofi's Crepes, you'll be hooked!

I love this little place!! Not a big place but good enough to enjoy your crepes! You can smell the nutella and fresh fruits as they make it! I was impressed at the taste. Staff is great! Very nice. I wanted to leave a tip coz they are so nice! Id go back and try the other crepes. I had the ham crepe. Very affordable!

Delicious crepes and wonderful service in a clean, colorful atmosphere! I vouch for the Florentine (ham substitute for sunflower seeds).

I work next door, which is awesome because I can walk here for my lunch break. But the better part is the food. I don't know how they do it, day in and day out, but they nail it every time. I have had probably 50 crepe florentine (as the menu states: gruyere, spinach, mushrooms and sunflower seeds) crepes since I moved to this neighborhood for work. And! The people there are awesome, funny and super!

I've never been to the Sofi's near the Charles theater, but I really like the location of this one. I normally get the Ham, Gruyere and dijon or if I'm feeling like something sweet I get Nutella (mmmmmm!) It doesn't take very long and you can either sit at the counter or get crepes wrapped up to go. And FYI it's only open for lunch during the week (to cater to the office workers I think).

Went to Sofi's for lunch this week and was pretty impressed. I guess when I think of a crepe, I think of something sweet. While Sofi's has over 10 sweet crepes they also have savory crepes which make for a great lunch. The palce is pretty small, there are only 10 seats around a counter and you can watch your crepe made right in front of you. I had "The Classic" with ham, gruyere and Dijon mustard. It was really good, just like a warm ham and cheese sandwich. The crepe was folded into what looked like a large stuffed piece of pizza. I didn't have a dessert crepe but they have a lot of them and next time I stopped by Sofi's, I will definitely try a sweet crepe as well. Not a bad stop in downtown Baltimore if you are looking for something unique than the regular soup and sandwich fare.

Bonjour Mademoiselle Crepe! i had a wonderful Friday lunching experience at Sofi's Crepes. They have a vast selection of both sweet and savory which makes it hard to choose. The savory crepes all run around $8 and the sweet are $4 to $5. Since I ventured in on my lunch break I decided on savory and chose the classic which is the Ham, Gruyere and Dijon. It was delicious! There were perfect portions of each ingredient in the crepe so each bite was a little piece of heaven. Not too much cheese, mustard or ham...everything was just right. When you first walk in you are a little taken back by the tiny space they make these yummy french delights. The setup couldn't be more perfect for the fare. The stools allow you to watch the staff make the crepe and then have it swiftly delivered to you. I'll be going back next week for a sweet crepe. My only complaint is instead of bottled water I opted for tap. Unfortunately my tap water was luke warm which didn't really quench my thirst. Also another downside to Sofi's are their hours. They close every weekday at 4pm. But these are minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of things. The wait staff was more than helpful and pleasant. I felt like I was in a Parisian diner enjoying a quintessential treat. I recommend Sofi's for both the food and the ambiance.

I was at the Central Library Branch of Pratt Library for training and one of the people there suggested this place. It is very small but cozy and has 2 tables outside. There was a nice crowd but not over crowded. I loved you were able to sit down and watch your crepe being made I had the The Kevin Bacon: Turkey, Bacon, Cheese, & Tomatoes with 1000 Island Sauce $8. It was very good and very savory. My friend had the The Godfather: Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Salami, Roasted Red Peppers, & Spinach $8 and she said it was perfect and very good.

Our crepe was pretty good and we may have returned someday of it weren't for the the three teenage employees that were playing with the owners dog who came in from outside. Judging by the fact that one of them went around the counter to grab the big container of dog treats after petting the dog (without washing her hands) this is a regular occurance. She then continued feeding him treats while her fellow employees gave the huge dog bear hugs. This went on for about 15 minutes...we waited to see if they would wash their hands (arms and changed clothes since they were all over the dog). There is no amount of handwashing that was going to get them clean enough to prepare and serve good. Meanwhile they went behind the counter several times to grab keys and and a few other things, and moved chairs around the seating area. When we finally left, pretty disgusted the owner asked us outside the restaurant how our creoes were. We told her the were great but that we were pretty grossed out that this huge dog was inside the very small restaurant and the people cooking were playing on the floor w him. her response was as if we were the most shallow people, and said well she's going thru chemo right now so she needs a lot of attention. I don't think the health department would see things that way.

It's a cute, affordable idea for a date. I've tried most of their crepes and like the kevin bacon the best. The employees at this location seem messier and more careless when making their crepes. The portions were huge (uncomfortably so), and fillings were popping out. I don't mind for the savory ones, but I couldn't really eat the sweet ones without a knife and fork. FYI, the lemon flavored crepe is made with the lemon juice in the plastic container instead of fresh ones. I'd go back, but it's not a real crepe.
